Even though we do that, (which I find useful and very great as a fantastic reading resource for the community as a whole) it still remains to be said that even with our precautionary posts on this thread, there will still exist people who believe guys like OP who claim to know some secret, magic BS way of making money out of air. Its a bit sad, really. Especially for the complete newbies who have no idea what they are in for and might come to hate this forum just because they got duped by some guy like OP. I t would be, in my thinking, a better forum if we actively started deleting and banning such posts.I disagree. In my opinion, it is always better to explain why something is bad instead of banning/deleting it. If such posts will be not present on this forum, people will find them somewhere else, where no critical replies can be found, and will get scammed as a result. We don't want that, right? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ~ For me the things that have been discussed in the thread are quite important, I would say that they have a lot of relevance according to the fact that if a novice sees all these discussions he has or could put together a mental scheme so as not to fall into scams, which is not something bad, i would say that instead of closing it, no matter what OP thinks, there is always someone who can get rich because of the thread, at one point i also thought that the best thing to do is to delete or close the thread, but it has had some relevance, and that's what matters, there are many things that I've read and that contribute, I don't see anything wrong with it, if the thread at the end helps even 1 person, I think it's fine.
I'm sure it will help not just one, but many people in the future. It's only a matter of time when people realize how much useful info can be found on this forum. Yes, of course, not all the info here is valuable, there's a lot of spamming here, yes, but in any great library there are many sh*tty books too, right? You just have to find the right ones, ignoring all the garbage.

If you are playing gambling for example slots and you double money with just a couple of bets on very early part of your game. Will you stop already or continue playing to earn more?
I’ve been on this situation many times before and I keep playing until I get the entertainment that I want and to have more profit. But the result is always ended up losing everything because it’s very easy to increase bet if you knew that your money that you use is a profit. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I voted "idk" because it really depends on many things. If I win a significant amount of money(for me), like $50+ in one session, I usually stop because it's already a great experience and I don't want to ruin it. I know it can be even a better experience if I continue and win another $50, but, first, it won't be that much better because our brain releases lesser and lesser dopamine in our reward system to avoid dopamine intoxication, and secondly there's a good chance of another big win not happening, and even if I won't lose my initial win completely, I will be frustrated with losing my time on unprofitable spins. But if I win $4-$5, I keep rolling until I lose it all or win more. When I have time for that, of course. There are times when I win just $2 and stop because I have other things to do. And I will be doing them in a happy mood because winning even as little as $2 makes me happy, at least for a little while, idk. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I am not yet gain any experience in physical gambling and i haven’t any experience by visiting any physical casino while travelling . i am always comfortable in Online casino . here i can gamble anytime anywhere . i have a long experience in online crypto casino but i haven’t any experience in physical casino . but i can try physical casino if i can get a chance
Most of us here prefer online casinos to land based ones, but I disagree with those saying that there's nothing attractive in visiting physical casinos while travelling. I agree that visiting cheap and shady places isn't that interesting and can be dangerous even, but what about world-famous ones in Monte Carlo, Macau or Las Vegas? I would definitely step in the house if I were around.

~ I have half an hour another country and the same thing happened to me as to you, I saw and entered the casinos, I saw how people moved their money, and they gambled large sums, actually I was embarrassed to bet very little with respect to them, I didn't want to be the one to make them laugh at them, and so I refrained because I really didn't think I was at their level even to be able to play, I don't know, I think I felt a little bad, maybe intimidated.
Interesting experience. I think it's good that you didn't try to "be on their level" and bet big amounts in order to get their respect. I actually can relate to your story. I'm almost always betting very small money, like $0.10 or $0.20, and sometimes I have exactly this feeling of embarrassment you mentioned, when I post about me winning $15 with 150x of my bet win, while other people would bet $10 instead of 10 cents, and win $1,500 with the same luck. But I try to banish feeling of embarrassment because I know, there's no shame in not being rich.

~ I still remember what my grandfather said, he said that the root of evil is greed, not money. Greedy people are those who do not have a sense of gratitude themselves for what they have got, their minds are filled with a destructive negative aura.
Great words! Really, thank you, @Ludmilla_rose1995, for remembering what your grandfather said and posing it here. To be honest, I'm sick of reading that "money is nothing", "money is the root of all evil" and stuff here in the Economy section of our forum. FFS, money is the blood of economy! Go and post that money is evil in some other places than bitcointalk, because Bitcoin is money itself. But actually I am all for the freedom of speech, so I don't mind them posting trash about money here. Let them post anything they want. They just have to be ready for a reply from someone who disagrees with them.

I hope Ireland wins in this one. I placed a bet, totally blindly, not knowing the rules or anything, 5 days ago ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fl3QoL8b.png&t=663&c=s0q5iulDVH50qg) and I was right about the first game, but now I feel like I need a lot of good luck to be right about the second one. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Watching it LIVE here at the moment but without knowing the laws of cricket it's not much of a show, tbh. Thank you, guys, for suggesting in this thread where to learn those rules! I will study them, and my next bets will be made with some knowledge, I guess. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And surely it will be more interesting to watch the games.

~ The truth is when I see a casino that is identical to another I leave and I don't go there anymore, although there is obviously the option that it be new people and that they don't know anything and that it wasn't their fault, that maybe they sold that type of environment in a casino, I prefer to pass and not go more than deposit and lose my money in a silly way, because a new casino must make a difference, be authentic by any measure, even have the best bonuses with the best wager possible, so that you can compare yourself against the big ones, such as stake.com, bitcasino.io, SB, among other casinos that are very reliable and highly reputable.
Indeed, there are enough established and respected online casinos for us to play in. Why should we bother with some copycats? Even if they promise enormous bonuses, how can we be sure it's not a scam? So, the first move, make your platform originally looking. Not many people are going to trust you otherwise.

Great tips. And I am actually doing them all. Another thing we did at home is we plant some manageable kinds of stuff like vegetables and fruits in front and at the back of our house. And I live in a small lot only with like 15 to 20 square meters of space. It first started when I stopped my plan to make a terrace in front of our house due to these hard times. One time while eating a sweet watermelon, I threw its seeds in front of our house. I didn't expect for it to grow up so we take care of it. To make it short, we harvested 9 big sweet watermelons before the plant died. Because of that incident, we already planted pumpkins, bitter gourds, chili plants, and many more that are not demanding of space.
Yes, I like the tips in this thread too. They can be very useful in times like these. From my own experience I can add that we can catch fishes if living close to a river, sea or pond. We can pick berries and nuts if there's a forest nearby. We, humans, were hunter-gatherers for most of our existence, so, we are wired for this activity, and that's why we like it so much.

Not that great result for me this weekend in our Sportsbet's BitcoinTalk Pool on Superbru. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F2aLqJdO.png&t=663&c=bsZp2u4ur6sypQ) I moved 6 positions down with my predictions: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fa2UeL5E.png&t=663&c=AFJ02aezCXRp-Q) Conhgrats, @rdbase on making the perfect pick for this one: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FuCmYN1G.png&t=663&c=40mqng2BuQyyMA) You are the only one who managed that! Congrats, Mister Surname on predicting something unexpected, a 0-0 draw in Leicester City vs Crystal Palace game! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FZ3pGDnr.png&t=663&c=IDvk90aoMK3r4g) Again, we had only 1 correct prediction for this one. The draw between Fulham and Bournemouth wasn't that unexpected for the participants of our pool: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FhPVkQ5B.png&t=663&c=PKLiyA3CFPRILg) and yet I managed to male a wrong pick: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fc2pM8Y2.png&t=663&c=JpdHnuqFGFiiMA) along with 45 others, so, that's kinda comforting ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Most of us were either exact or close for the Wolves against Nottingham Forest match, but not me with my result: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F4GqyqSr.png&t=663&c=nMUMzgxh9ZzUnA) Even more people from our pool were exact or close for the Tottenham-Everton. 18 EXACT and 35 CLOSE predictions. And yet something possessed me to this 4-1 pick. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FV09qYl4.png&t=663&c=J3YyFEUNHz0Emg) Why not 40-1, mate!? Practically the same situation was with Aston Villa vs Chelsea. Millions of correct and close predictions, and me with my 4-1 result Oh, I think I remember why I made those crazy picks. I wanted to be the only one who's prediction was exact. That's what you get for trying to be better than everyone! Next round I'm doing only the safe 2-1-ish picks. Let's see how that turned out for me. ... Anyways, Congrats, @hilariousandco, our Captain, on being the best in Round 11! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FXbP83mJ.png&t=663&c=qByLRC1rBXvbdA) The next round starts tomorrow. Don't forget to make your picks, guys!

~ Rubik's Cube can be solved by a machine in 0.38 Seconds. Watch the video in the link below: https://youtu.be/8ZBP0n6yeQoand it's a mechanical solving. I'm sure it will take much less for solving it just on the computer screen. And, unlike with poker and Go, you don't need an expensive AI for that. There's no luck involved in this game. Zero. So, VR or not, this game can't be implemented for gambling with real money. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) that video is hypnotic. I never had nor solved Rubik's cube, but I have seen people solving them with great ease so many times on TV lately that I was sure that it was mechanic, and you've shown us the perfect proof. That's the way it is, it couldn't be implemented in any casino because of the danger of abuse by many players. I may be wrong, so I would be very happy if someone corrected me, and then I would know that there are exceptions to this rule, which I personally think is universal: If we have a game of skill where luck is not a factor, we can't make a casino game out of it. But, of course, we can always make a purely luck-based game themed like a game of skill. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Ff7cEhUP.png&t=663&c=n5KthCmEZsRkCg) Like this chess themed slot, for example. We can absolutely do this with Rubik's Cube, Waterful Ring-Toss game and any other game discussed in this thread.

~ All the slots are with 96% RTP and they don't change with the promos or with the casinos .. so forever 96% ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ~ and the RTP is always de same 96%, never change Thanks for your replies, @ENDORPHINA, but how would you comment on these words on bitcoincasinokings site about Windy City slot by Endorphina? "There is also a Double Up feature, where you can double your winnings. The Return to player rate is only 84 % in this feature, so ..." Is it true? And if yes, are there any other features on Endorphina slots with which we can get a different RTP than 96%?

~ I work with a Muslim girl, and she is very nice, the only thing is that she is a girl who covers up a lot, her religion catches my attention, but honestly I already have mine well established, I don't like certain things like those that are more evident in terms of men having many wives, and Muslims are very intelligent people, and they have ideas that can change anything that can happen, they are proactive people, I ask him sometimes if they like gambling, and the bitcoin, all that, he tells me yes, and little by little I think he will give in so that he can interact there, that is not disrespecting his religion, having fun is not bad.
Gambling(maisîr) is totally prohibited by Islamic law. But if you think of it, it is the kind of gambling all of us here on this forum speak out against. The kind of gambling when you want to get rich without working hard for the money, that is what considered a "grave sin" in the Quran. If you gamble just for fun and you know that today you can win and tomorrow you can lose, then it is no longer an activity "with no consideration for the possibility of loss", which is prohibited by Islamic law. You are just having fun, and having fun is not prohibited. This is just my opinion. I'm not a mullah, nor am I a mufti.

~ About feeling a difference not, Imagine you playing one of those games with very high volatility and low hit ratio, events that equalizing your bance or recovering some of your bets is occurring just with those some rare decent wins or hitting bonus rounds,, then you have practically two times less chances to hit good wins.. and you can burst your balance practically two times more quickly! I'll say from my own experience. I play different slots with various RTP, including Mega Moolah with 88% RTP seeing it like buying a lottery ticket, and, with the exception of Mega Moolah, I have never felt the difference. I mean, high volatility slots still providing you with small wins, and the frequency of those wins are often higher than on low volatility slots. Just recently I lost almost 20 bets in a row on a low volatility slot. This never happened to me when I was playing Money Train 2, and I played that slot a lot.

Yes, it is expected that somewhere around 2024 Bitcoin Halving the price will start going up, but looking at the Bitcoin yearly trend we can expect the beginning of the process sooner than in a year. And why not? If you can afford holding your BTC for years, why don't buy BTC at $20k instead of buying at $40k a few months later, even though buying at $40k is a pretty good deal too?

in my opinion, casinos need to train their employees in the support department, for example, the ideal would be the following: the casino would hire 5 support employees who had programming knowledge, how a casino works from the code, games and frequent problems and then the casino would submit these employees to training that would consist of: knowing everything about the casino, casino TOS , fees and time of withdrawal, deposits... everything! with that, when a customer had a problem, the support guy wouldn't need to forward the problem to the technical department, he would be able to say what is happening with the customer's account and only when it was to solve the problem and that support would forward it to the department technician. what has been happening is that the support guys are people who seem to know nothing about the casino I strongly agree with this approach. I'm not sure about the number of the trained support employees though. Maybe a big casino needs more of them, but even then it's worth doing. With so many online casinos it's not easy to stand out in a good way so that gamblers would prefer your site to others. And having a professional support team, with which all your customers are pleased, can surely help in that regard.

Thanks mate. But I hope when you say you have abandoned betting with significant amounts I assume you are still betting but with lower amounts. You didn't completely stop betting did you ? Winning or losing is part of the game. We can enjoy the bet/game as long as we are not worried of the outcome. There should be only the excitement to see whether you win or not. No, of course, I haven't stop betting. I love gambling. I wouldn't say it's like air to me, nor would I say it's like water, but it is still something that makes my life brighter, like a a bottle of Coke, I guess. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ~ You're gambling since how many years now? I guess it was before you opened this account in 2014. If after nearly ten years you consider losing $50 a big loss, you're a great bettor and you should continue instead of giving up, because very few people are able to gamble during several years without losing hundreds of $ regularly. Even on slots or dice games. Regarding your so called "mistake" as you say, you can't know if one single bet was a mistake or no, maybe your bet was a good one but an upset has just happened. You must look at your results on a larger amount of bets, to make conclusions IMO. Thank you, @Saint-loup, my friend, for your good words and wishes! I won't give up because I have lots of goals, and rolling this lucky number on FreeBitco.in ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FKihAXGY.png&t=663&c=lxHIAZWh_wYJ7w) is one of them. With 11k+ freerolls played I haven't hit it yet, but "yet" is the keyword here.

Well, we can't compete with the Jordan family in the end! What is $5M for older Jordan? A few days on some yacht? Or $50k for his son? I guess nothing... people just have fun with what they can afford to lose!
Yes, Jordans can afford spending huge amounts of money on gambling, alcohol and stuff, but what's really interesting is that they are not doing it. The cases described by the OP were nearly the only such cases in their life. Anyone can go off the rails at one point of his/her life, but what's important is to have this strength which can help you to return back to normal. Imo, Michael Jordan is a good father, who illustrated by his own example how to not become a gambling addict.
