Good! Yesterday, when I saw there was only two, I was kind of depressed

So any suggestions for the best profitable currency to mine with my 1.5 MHS rig? I really want to get more into mint but it's too hard to mine so I'm looking for something to mine to sell for mint.
Join a multi-pool. https://coinex.pw, or something like that. Middlecoin, Wafflepool or Clevermining ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=259649.10320) You can also lease a rig on http://leaserig.net/ or http://www.betarigs.com/. This way, you don't have to worry about letting your computer on or choosing the right coin. You are basically outsourcing your mining completely. Brokered mining! I am seriously considering this, since I have a pathetic GPU. 1. Choose a rig to lease (compare the cheapest rig/hash on both leaserig.net and betarigs.com) 2. Choose a multipool (coinex.pw, middlecoin, wafflepool or clevermining - I don't know how to compare them)) 3. Convert to mintcoin

I would like to apologize for my behavior earlier today in response to deadmanwalking's reply to my post. I also want to personally apologize to deadmanwalking for the insults I directed at him. It was rude and there is no excuse for my behavior. It doesn't help Mint and it doesn't help other users of the forum. Very few people on this board are mature enough to recognize their mistake and publicly apologize. Kudos to you!

Nice design, I hope the devs add multi-wallet. Please explain multi-wallet. HoboNickels has multi-wallet. Multi-Wallet Support is built into the HoboNickels-qt wallet application for loading and unloading multiple wallets. This allows you to use wallets for different purposes such as: mining, spending, running stake and storing securely offline. In this way you can organize your needs and strike a balance between the need for security, spending and the creation of coins. http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=Multi-WalletIsn't the possibility to create multiple address enough to qualify as a multiwallet?

Hi, Following a discussion with bjmillican4, I decided to create a tutorial as simple as possible How to mine mintcoinI'd like your input. My guideline was "it if is not necessary, don't include it". You tell me if I forgot something really necessary (it seems that there is no need to create a conf file anymore, for instance)

Hi Anyone to help a poor sod? Basically, how do you import a wallet after reinstalling? NOTHING seems to be working. Before I completely delete the whole wallet, will this work? Backup the wallet... Put in a safe folder somewhere... completely delete everything else related to the wallet... re-install the wallet...
Will the new install ask if I have a backup?
OK, I just tried installing the wallet on a different computer, but it didnt ask for a backup, and it didnt find my backup in the same folder.
Now WHat???!!!

I'm the pain in the ass that's been trying to figure out the lag time problem with my Mint wallet. I finally got it to work correctly with no lag. If anyone else is having the same problem, I hope this helps.
I did a clean install of Mint wallet version 1.4 from the OP.
I DID NOT use the conf file in the OP, my conf file from version 1.1, or any conf file at all.
I just downloaded the wallet, opened it, and it started syncing with 12 active connections. No lag now. It works perfect.
I have no idea why. I'm guessing there was a conflict of some sort with the conf file. It worked fine with 1.1.
I hope I haven't ruffled too many feathers. Maybe this will save some others some time.
Added to the wishlist http://www.mintcointalk.com/index.php?topic=263.msg773#msg773, so that the problem doesn't happen for others. I also posted it on mintcointalk.com http://www.mintcointalk.com/index.php?topic=268

Been on this thread for a while now, and I've come to the conclusion that the best thing we can do for Mint is make the most user-friendly wallet in the crypto world.
Here are a few suggestions:
1. Simple button to unlock wallet for minting. 2. Multi-wallet functionality (one for saving\minting, one for spending) 3. Lists of Coin age for different groupings of coins.
Please add to this list. I really believe this could differentiate us in a very meaningful way. Added to the wishlist.

Please explain multi-wallet. Multi wallet- If you were to download another wallet client right now, It would just replace the current wallet. Multi wallet would give you the ability to have one wallet for holding, one for selling...etc. Understood. But if security is the question, better to have a "physical" separation, i.e. two different piece of software. Plus, harder to make mistakes.

And I posted a nice surprise for everyone there. Wow, that is a surprise I just don't know exactly how to update the main post accordingly. Tell me how much 1st place will gain, 2nd place and 3nd place. And who is hybridsole? There is a growing trend to rename mintcoin into mint. Looks like the lack of action on this weekend first depressed everyone then acted as a catalyst for innovation. Woohoo!

I am running a client always with just a few coins in it to verify transactions and act as a peer in the network, but I keep my main wallet offline. Explain your strategy. You have one wallet for helping the network and one wallet for your money? Like a webserver on the net and a storage server on the intranet (if this IT jargon makes sens for you)? I suppose you have to manually remember to open up your wallet every 20 days, then?

Maybe you should reimport all designs from the old contest Frankly, I considered then... There is such a magnitude of difference...

I left my wallet open for one hour and these appeared. It appears I have been given back-pay. So if any of you have not received minting that have been here since day one then I suggest you leave your wallet open for an hour or two. I don't understand: your older transaction in is 28/02/2014. So you not recevie anything before the 20th of March, right?

Can you make a sticky post on the mintcointalk.com with a donation address for a USD/MINT market These are just some ideas that modify your logos a little, I am not a graphic designer but I have some aesthetic sense. I believe the font must be changed to something evoking more lightness that power. And since we are talking about removing the "coin" part also... Someone to create a poll?
