Cryptocurrencies aren't supposed to be a get-rich-quick scheme for miners. Miners exist to secure the blockchain for the currency. Getting that backwards does not sound like a good idea.

DigitalOcean Staff this lot look dodgey as alll I mean they have my credit car details.....and want facebook, blogs etc etc wow The same thing happened to me. I couldn't believe they wanted my facebook profile, but I just did it anyway despite my deep hatred of the idea. It just sucks that they locked my account during this last little bit of good mining time before the coin goes to hell. there is no way I am giving them any more details than credit card....seriously I get 1-0 pps on their largest system |

I've upgraded to the 16 core for the night and my pps is : 2391
I tried the 16 core and get 0-5 pps the 1 core 20 pps what am I doing wrong??? Compile and run the update in the original op: apt-get install git

I have been unable to get a block in two days. Now I am only getting 1 and 0 PPS. I rebooted the drop, but it didn't help.

Found it, as in got someone else's binary? I'm not sure what caused this error but my hunch is that you are using someone else's compile and the libraries aren't in the right place. i complied it myslef.... I have primecoind but the primecoin --deamon is nor working. it yields that error |

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you out there who are running for the hills because you are so easily terrified by negative articles you are seeing in the news, about BTC being a failed endeavour. Those of you who are mass-unloading all your coinage because you are so easily manipulated by public opinion. Its because of you that the rest of us are getting BTC at a huge discount right now. So thanks!  Please keep selling for awhile. I was hoping to see it hit $50 before it rebounds back to $100 and eventually hits $1,000 or more. -B- and i will get it even cheaper when it goes down 50% from today\s price and people like you capitulate but if he can afford to lose it all eg btc = 0 so why would he capitulate? |
