The transfer of Kieran Triplier seems to have been completed already, from Athletico Madrid to Newcastle.
Term also been agreed between the coutinho and Aston Villa, there seems to be an organic feeling between the in going player and coach.
Confirmed Kieran Trippier is officially a Newcastle player and has been unveiled by the club the deal is through 2023-24 season, of course Kieran Trippier is not a new comer in EPL, he formerly played for Tottenham, I hope with his quality and wealth of experience he will surely help the Toons to escape relegation, the club being the richest now will obviously use this January transfer window to buy some quality players, the club will lure some of these players with juicy offers which can't be rejected, I am sure Kieran Trippier was offered a good pay.
2602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 06, 2022, 08:38:37 PM
just checked the quotes and there is no clear favorite

Senegal 6.5
Algeria 7.0
Egypt 7.0
Ivory Coast 8.5
Kamerun 9.0
Nigeria 9.0
Morocco 10.0

It looks like it's gonna be an open tournament, at least from the final rounds on. It seems the groups are clearly divided into good and not-so-good teams...
Although I am an African the football game in my continent is very poor. Checking how far the African continent has been in football, I feel by now there should be necessary improvement in many areas but that's not the case, I am not even excited anymore about the African nations cup I would only watch it out of patriotism apart from  that the level of game action doesn't excite me anymore.
I agreed with you with regards the poor state of African football that is why it will take a very long time before any African country can win the World Cup, corruption in Football Association is at an alarming rate, funds disposed by FIFA to all these countries football managing bodies that ought to be used in scouting talents from the grassroots and development of football infrastructures ended up being embezzled consequently you won't hardly see a new homegrown star throughout the Nation Cup consequently it will be very difficult for any African country to win the World Cup.
2603  Economy / Speculation / Re: New year new speculation on: January 06, 2022, 06:36:12 PM
according to my speculation this year is the same as 2021, prices are likely to improve in 2022 and it is possible to set a new record by reaching ath. all coins depend on bitcoin if bitcoin increases the value of other coins also increases. My prediction this year there will be a new coin, we should choose this new coin wisely. If we are lucky we will surely be rich.
Well my expectations about all the speculations about the price of crypto this year will tally with that of last year however the current price dump or massive correction being experience by bitcoin is a consign to me, though I am very optimistic that price recovery is imminent but I don't think a new ATH is likely to be achieved so soon, Meanwhile metaverse related projects will continue to gain ground and trend very very it's up to every investors to research for the feasible project and invest in it.

Newcastle is now being connected to both Umtiti and Ramsey. It appears that every player that is free to leave their club is connected with them, it is beginning to look a bit funny.

Umtiti was a bit unlucky with injuries and I feel he's a better player than he showed so far but Botman looks like a more concrete option for them long-term. I don't see Ramsey happening, he's on a huge contract and he hasn't played good in a while.

Newcastle still needs like 5+ players so this will be interesting to follow.
It will be a good addition if Newcastle can sign the duo of Umititi and Ramsey into the team Tripper had already been signed with the club, signing of few more experience players I am very sure the team will be formidable enough to battle and escape relegation.
Ramsey is not enjoying a regular playing time in Juventus might opt for a short term loan to play for Newcastle where he will enjoy a regular playing time atleast he had formerly played for Arsenal thus he is not new in premier league.
2605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leverage Trading on: January 06, 2022, 11:45:54 AM
Hello,
is there any difference between a trade with 5.000$ with 1x leverage and on the other hand 100$ with 50x leverage?
The only difference I see is the liquidation price of course. But is there any other differnce?
Thank you all, Frank
Risk factor differs in both trades, leveraging a $100 trade with 50x is too risky infact any slight dump in the price of crypto pair traded will trigger a margin call by the exchange based on personal experience while trading with Binance, however $5 with 1x less risky though with a smaller profit, preferably adoption of cross margin which is 3x in Binance is quite reasonable coupled with a good trading strategy and money management a good and experience trader will earn a decent profit in a long run.
2606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 06, 2022, 11:29:03 AM
Its been a very long time that I've been using coinmarketcap.com/new to find new crypto projects that just get listed on the platform and I've come to notice that every two to three days coinmarketcap always list up to 30 new crypto projects, how insane is that? It shows that more than 100 crypto projects are released every week cos some landed on coingecko first before coinmarketcap, this to me is scary
Honestly the crypto market is flooded with with many projects especially the metaverse projects which is gaining popularity at the moment, of course this is an unregulated market, any developer can launch their token in the market, however I believe to be on safer side  I think the most thing is for every new investor to research before investing in any of this new projects, some might be genuine and has good prospect while some are scams whose existence will be short-lived and worthless after some period of time.

Tottenham haven't still started playing very impressively I think. Yeah, they have been getting much better results since Antonio Conte came to the team. But they are still not too good when it comes to their performance. And we saw that against Chelsea last night also. They were like not even in the field. They tried something in the second half, yes but it was still not good enough. But I really hope that they can improve their performance much more than this.
Well I can't blame Conte for Tottenham unimpressive performance in yesterday's match, he had tried his best with club so far considering the calibre of players in his squad, I think Son and Kane are the two most important and quality players in the squad compared to other clubs he had managed before, even with that, he played and win almost 8 out of 10 matches with this record I think that is a good record, with regards to Chelsea game, I think Tottenham players are fatigued due to non rotation of their players unlike Chelsea that has extra quality players.
2608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 05, 2022, 07:43:36 PM
The first leg of the semi finals in the EFL Cup is finally starting! Chelsea are going to play a home game against Tottenham in an hour. The schedule of each team is going to be really tight these days. But I don't expect both of them to rotate their lineups too much. I hope to watch a great competition between these teams. Tottenham are much better now with Conte and they can surprise Chelsea here too. And Chelsea are trying to recover from their unsatisfying results recently. I think both teams will score and we might see a draw like 1-1 or 2-2.

Tottenham is quite tough as opponents Chelsea. Especially with some pretty good developments from Tottenham. Had held Liverpool to a draw in the EFL and won against West Ham. Then make Norwich unable to reply at all. Tottenham has also returned the position that was occupied by Man United. So with the current developments they have, it will make it quite difficult for Chelsea to conquer the defenders who are strong enough in defense.
Today's match between Chelsea and Tottenham is Carabao semifinal not EPL, I will like to watch how Conte will play his former Club, since his appointment as Tottenham manager he has been unbeaten in the league and tonight is going to be a battle between two experienced managers, unfortunately Tottenham has never won a trophy thus this is a big opportunity for them to win this cup and prove their critics wrong and soccer analysts who had not given them any chances of winning tonight.

I really don't understand what Romelu Lukaku is up to now.  Grin  In an interview with a news source, he said that he was not happy about staying at Chelsea. But a short time after this, he said to Thomas Tuchel that he was not planning to leave anytime soon. But it is obvious that he would like to come back to Inter at some point. It seems like he really liked to play there and he was really performing perfectly also. He is not as good as that at Chelsea now. But I hope to see him scoring more goals than now in the future.
According to a report Romelu Lukaku had tendered his apology and his rift with Tuchel has been resolved amicably, ( link below) he is in the squad that will play Tottenham in tomorrow Carabao semifinal, his tendency of returning to Inter Milan is on hold for now, Chelsea need him now as the spot for top 4 is getting more competitive and teams below them are winning their matches thus closing the points, Lukaku is a good striker and could have helped Chelsea in their last match against Liverpool.

Only Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool are spearheading the trophy.
It seems only Manchester City are on the way to take the trophy. They are collecting much more points than Chelsea and Liverpool. If Manchester City won't self suicide in the second half of season, they will take the trophy.

Sure. Objectively speaking, Manchester City is the best in all respects - they have scored the most goals and conceded the least. Their leadership can be seen with the naked eye - both by the game and by the points. In order for one of those catching up to get closer to City, it must play as confidently as City did, which is quite difficult in such a competitive championship, and City must lose at least 3 matches, which is also very unlikely.
Well I am not surprise about Man City dominance in EPL, they are big club bankrolled by Sheikh Mansour a  billionaire thus they have quality players, it will be difficult for other club to compete at the same level with the club, that is why catching up with the club will be very difficult, the two runner-ups Liverpool and Chelsea who ought to have win their last match by either side to close the gap played a draw thus consolidating the Man City leadership of the EPL table.
2611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 03, 2022, 07:51:12 PM
Manchester United are just helpless against Wolves now. I really didn't expect them to play this much badly after getting a solid 3-1 win against Burnley last week. But their performance got even worse compared to that game. There is a little time period left for the final whistle and Wolves have got ahead 1-0 by the goal they've just scored. This is really a big disappointment for Manchester United even if they manage to draw with them.
Wolves performed very good as well ,the goal was very unexpected by de gea because the ball rolled smoothly and beautifully ! well for some reason M.United was very easy to break through by wolves repeatedly ,adama is really cool I think it's like a passionate machine ,this match only has the last minute left and surely M.United has been lose
Honestly Wolves deserve to win the match from the start to finish, they attack very well took more shot on goals than Man Utd who look clueless at some time with their midfielders uncoordinated, Matic and Mctominay were very poor, It's high time Ralf Rangnick change his 4-2-2-2 formation that tactical formation is not working, the hope of Man Utd taking a top 4 spot is at stake except they up their game else with kind of performance they don't stand a chance of clinching the top 4 at the end of the season.
2612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoddle or day trading on: January 03, 2022, 03:16:22 PM
I prefer to hold, I buy a lot of coins and when there is an opportunity for staking then I use it for staking, I think long term hold and staking is more profitable with less risk than daily trading.
To avoid any unnecessary risk the best bet for the OP is to keep hodling or better still stake it as you rightly said, trading without any prior knowledge will amount to losing all the portfolio, those two options are preferable for any crypto enthusiasts and less risky though earning reasonable amount of profits might take some times and requires patience however in a long run it really worth it, in addition it is always advisable to research on the coin before investing in a bid to hodling it for a long term perspective because there are numerous scams projects in the ecosystem.

If the OP knows his onions on cryptocurrencies trading 10-20% price volatility means a lot to experienced traders, unfortunately this is one of the perceptions of a lot of newbies in cryptos "getting rich quickly scheme" not minding the consequences of investing in a meme pump and dump coins, care to hear there are lots of traders earning reasonable amount of profits even with the small volatility rate of the major crypto coins that is why the major exchanges are thriving well in the market.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aubameyang-arsenal-newcastle-transfer-news-25830344

According to the news of Mirror, Newcastle are preparing to make a loan deal for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. And there will be an option to buy him for £20m in this summer. It looks like Newcastle are going to be in the race for him with bigger clubs like Barcelona for example. Newcastle have much more funds than Barcelona now actually. But Aubameyang might not want to stay in the PL. And maybe he'd be really beneficial for Barcelona too.
Aubameyang should consider Newcastle loan offer for now till the end of the season atleast Newcastle will be paying part of his weekly wages till the end of his loan spell, probably their differences will be sorted out, if there is the need to move to another club, If Newcastle escape relegation, he should sign for the club, as it is now Arsenal still respect contractual agreement by paying his huge weekly wages which runs till the end of the season before termination of his contract, Barcelona had already sign Ferran Torres thus the chances of them signing Aubameyang is null and void.
2615  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many consecutive looses can you handle in trading? on: January 02, 2022, 08:13:57 PM

HOW MANY CONSECUTIVE LOOSES IN TRADING CAN YOU HANDLE BEFORE YOU ACCEPT THAT YOUR CURRENT TRADING STRATEGY IS BECOMING LESS EFFECTIVE?

I think until all my money is gone i will stop doing trading. But i rarely do future trading so maybe i still can hold coins that i already bought. Because in future, big chance if we can get liquidated and it can made all our capital in future balance gone. But in spot, as long we not sell our coins, we still have chance and only need to hold our coins for better price.
My own way or method of trading is similar to yours, the reason is that, I use to try my own trading strategy with live account though with a small amount of fund, I don't subscribe to demo trading , once my money is gone, I will ensured I check where my mistakes occurred with possible amendment in my future trading, though I had already set my target once I started live trading with huge account, I set 4 consecutive losses as my minimum target once I incurred the losses I will quit trading for a while before coming back.
2616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 02, 2022, 07:16:19 PM
what a great and tough match for both teams. if all Liverpool games, they can go through easily then it's not interesting

being able to make 2 goals at stamford is really very good, especially now Liverpool are chasing 2nd place, the match they went through must end in victory

I can't wait to watch Liverpool score the third goal in this second half LOL

Unfortunately Liverpool couldn't score in the second half which Chelsea dominated and the host could have score two more goals in the second half but for Liverpool goalkeeper who made a point blank save, Chelsea comeback was incredible and they really deserve it, their consistent attack on Liverpool up front paid of, it was quite an exciting and entertaining match however the draw between the two had enabled Man City to sit comfortable on top of the table with 53 points extending the gap to 10 points.
2617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Pi Coins on: January 02, 2022, 03:21:59 PM
I didn’t think Pi Network have a bright future. i see people use there mobile phone to mining Pi network token for 1+ year but But I don't see any development in this token. People are only mining their tokens but in no case can they are able to use or sell it. I see it as a scam. it is just wasting people’s time.
Funny enough I wanted to try and help a newbie who had some Pi coin in his wallet to exchange to another coin e.g ethereum unfortunately, there is no exchange that had launch the so-called Pi coin, it is never in existence, I tried further to research on any of their roadmap and white paper of the coin it's not in existence too, I agreed it just a waste of time and efforts mining the tokens, some of my friends also sent me a referral link of the token which I deleted from my phone, a lot of them still believe in the token.
2618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 02, 2022, 03:07:56 PM
Big match between Chelsea vs Liverpool and both team want to get three points because they have different little points on standing position with Chelsea ahead one points from Liverpool. Trough this big match I think both team have chance to win and looks Chelsea most favorite to get three points and win from this match. They try to get position close with Manchester City as standing first position and think Chelsea have full team after Lukaku back from injury.

Chelsea have drawn three draws in their last four games. In today's match, the chances of both teams are assessed as equal. Maybe today we will see a draw that will be another draw for Chelsea? In my opinion, this would be logical, although despite the fact that the bookmakers give the teams equal chances of winning, they estimate the probability of a draw lower than the victory of one of the teams. In my opinion, there is some kind of logical error, or the assumption works that if one of the teams comes out ahead, then the second team becomes much more difficult to recoup.
I don't want a draw match for either side today because playing a draw would enable Man City to sit comfortable as the top of the table, a win by Chelsea will close the gap with an outstanding match, likewise Liverpool, it's good to continue to mount pressure on the league leader thus to make the league more competitive and attractive till the end of the season, Man City might get some bad result along the line though unlikely, however this is football anything can happen in term of losing form.
2619  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: January 01, 2022, 06:34:11 PM
I am sure that banks will not be destroyed, because banks play a big role in a country and even in the world, so it is impossible for banks to be eliminated even in the decades to come. in China alone crypto is eliminated how crypto can take over banks.
The most probable and reasonable thing is that crypto will be bigger than it is now, but it cannot replace the role of banks in the world.
I agreed with you, banks would do more of peripheral jobs but unreplaceable, probably there major role is for transactions between two anonymous crypto traders selling of coins and sending fiat to the buyer vice visa however I think a lot of crypto enthusiasts will prefer to hodl their coin as a store of value rather save it as fiat in the bank thus banking would be less attractive to people in saving money because the rate at which crypto adoption is going is in leap and bound.
2620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 01, 2022, 03:06:55 PM
Today we saw why City is the best team in the world. And certainly the Premier League. Not playing great, but still managed to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 1-2 victory. You can say it's luck that the goal came in injury time, I think it has to do with the quality of the players of this team. It is not a coincidence that City managed to turned the tables.
Arsenal was in total control of the match outplayed Man City until Gabriel was redcarded, infact Man City couldn't have a shot on target in the first half, had Arsenal converted all their glaring scoring chances they could have convincingly win the match, however unnecessary foul by Xhaka that resulted to the penalty and  some poor officiating and bad VAR decisions also contributed to Arsenal loss, I believe the young gunners deserve a point in the match, however the team has a bright future.
