2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: April 10, 2020, 04:52:22 PM
Just wondering.  I know DOTA has like the biggest tourneys.  I tried watching the game with Team Liquid vs some team on it and I found the game a bit slow...  Are there any other popular games out there?  Preferably with quicker pace.
Yeah, DOTA is quite complex unlike other games, and has the possibilties to turn close to being defeated moments into a winning one. I can't recall if I read it somewhere that there is some match in DOTA that took 3 hrs to finish, that's how complex DOTA is. If you're interested to similar games like DOTA but with a quicker pace you could try watching LOL as I can see the average game time takes about half of an hour (30 mins) or 1 hr depends on how competitive the match up is, but the gameplay here like building up item were quite quick. But if you want more quicker you could try watching ML (Mobile Legends) this game are making now its name in e-sports industry, and note this game are being played in mobile phones (as the title of the game says), usually the average game time here runs for about 20 mins, greater than that were really a competitive one.
I agree with League of Legends or LoL, the game runs for 30-40 minutes depends on the strategy of the player. Dota 2 gameplay runs almost 1 hour the game has a higher chance of having a comeback, unlike LoL that requires a lot of effort to reverse the situation.

DOTA2 usual game time is 35 to 60 minutes. Most of my games usually ends in 40+ minutes, just like LoL.

There are come back wins in DOTA2 but not easy, it also requies a lot of effort too.

It is hard to judge unless someone plays a lot of it.

I'm interested if Esport events are still going to continue because of the COVID-19 Virus. I guess a lot of events that including huge crows are going to be canceled in order to prevent the coronavirus.

I've read articles on Facebook that UFC is planning to continue its matches in an Island I wonder how Esport is going to adjust at this time, Esport is already online so I guess it would be easier than other Games.

2622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 10, 2020, 01:54:47 PM
It could be, we cannot really tell what is going to happened in the market in the coming months as we know there are so many predictions about the market price of bitcoin but still, we don't know what could happen.

Through my experience in bitcoin, it is already capable of reaching the ATH 20000$ in the market at any moment, but still even myself I doubt it because there are just so many factors plus we have a crisis that could potentially affect the market price of bitcoin. No doubt that bitcoin could reach ATH but we just don't know when it will going to happen but we could surely expect a movement in the market price of bitcoin in the coming bitcoin halving so I guess we just need to invest already since the market was a dump in the past weeks.

Hello. I’m looking for free giveaways, I’m ready to follow your referral links, even go through KYC if this is a really good project. I ask you as the highest society in the world of crypto. I'm tired of those giveaways that advertise in telegrams. Ready for cooperation on an ongoing basis, the availability of free time allows. Thank you all in advance and be healthy
What your doing is dangerous, Just for a giveaway? you are willing to do KYC? you might not realize it but giving your information could be dangerous especially like a KYC.

Your ID could easily be used in scamming activities that could be blamed in your identity since they have your ID. I guess nowadays you could make loans just using an ID imaging if someone uses your ID to a loan that would be big trouble. Surely it would not be worth it for a KYC considering the risk in giveaways, You could still do some giveaways if you like just risk too much of your information.
2625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 09, 2020, 08:06:56 AM
I want to assume that there are few people, who make several profits from trading altcoins, but sell their profit to bitcoin, and then over time while holding bitcoin, it dumps and their profits dips alongside bitcoin.

Why not do it this way ?
Since you trade mostly in altcoins, as soon as your make your profits, sell them to stable coins or fiats, close that trade chapter.

If you are passionate about hodling bitcoin, always convert to usdt or other stable coins and be patient for a fair entry point. Because the market isn't running away

What do you think everyone ? is there a better pattern that can be practiced?

I am open to more suggestions.
We cannot really avoid loss in my opinion since we cannot predict accurately the market price of a certain token and also we could not easily control the market.

I think the best thing to do here is just to buy loss and sell high when you could already make some profit, If you are going to sell already your investment if it is already pumped in the market you should sell it already and then wait again for the price to dump and then reinvest. In my opinion, this is better than just investing in a token for the long term since even bitcoin could not just pump all the time even at this time the market is dumping and pumping.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOBA Gambling on: April 09, 2020, 07:34:44 AM
There are tournaments being conducted for this kind of game genre. But I still understand that amateurs should also be given a chance to compete with some prestigious tournaments that are being held.

AFAIK, there's already this kind of tournament that was organized here in this section. The idea is good but the casino's aren't really focusing with this kind of idea, they might have their own reason why they don't consider this kind of idea.
I don't see a lot of Gambling websites where you could bet on MOBA Games but tournaments are already common at a lot of MOBA games so I'm not surprised if they could do some gambling in the games.

There are a lot of popular games that could possibly do gambling with it like Mobile Legend, Clash of clans, COD. They are not all MOBA but i think it would be easy to make a bet if they are just websites that is going to handle or escrow the best.
2627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for games to earn/win free cryptocurrency on: April 09, 2020, 05:58:33 AM
I recommend this: not all of the games could actually earn you cryptocurrency I've done the research and there are only a few cryptocurrency games most of them are just simple games and not really a big deal.

We all know that Cryptocurrency and Gaming industry fits well, these assets is already accelerating as there is an estimated 1million$ of transactions traded in these two industries in the past 7 days alone.

The blockchain technology already uses a lot in the gaming industry and tend to be stronger as the gamers support cryptocurrency. There is no doubt that the connection between the two increases the use of cryptocurrency.
Investors are interested and racing to in investing in cryptocurrency games platforms such as The Sandbox and Cryptovoxels want to buy virtual real states with this platform.

Cryptovoxels:

Surely the gaming industry is helping a lot when it comes to mass adoption especially in transactions, problems and issues are encountered in making a purchase from cards/debit cards also fees with just a micropayment developers find blockchain as an alternative payment or could be the solution.

Today the Gaming and cryptocurrency combined are already a trend:

Earlier this year we a new Minecraft Server, SatoshiQuest, went live. Which enables the participants to somehow treasure hunts bitcoin.

I bet we're all familiar with Minecraft. And if you love Minecraft, I think this news will be interesting for you.

SatoshiQuest is a new mod in Minecraft that just hit the front page of the Bitcoin subreddit. It is said by the creator that it gives players a unique bitcoin wallet linked to their UUID in Minecraft.

Players will have to log in and they will receive an address where they can deposit a small amount of money like $1 worth of Bitcoin to purchase lives. They can explore the game but the game becomes more thrilling when a certain player is close to the loot, other players can steal it.

SatoshiQuest creator says the transactions are done on-chain and the game will reset after finding the loot.

Here's the link for more information about this news:

We also have Lightnight A Bitcoin-integrated battle royale game that is still under development that is close to a Fortnite clone.

They say that you could earn bitcoin by hitting other players and vice versa when other players hit you...the game balance is updating every time a player hits you or if you pick up a valuable item.

Also, some items in the game are worth bitcoin and can be pick up when other players are dead,
The game allows you to purchased using your bitcoin as a payment method,

You can now trade Your Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items for Bitcoin Cash, using the Bitcoin.com Local as an escrow.

here at Link Here

You could connect your steam account to the bitcoin.com local and go and trade CS: Go items in the Steam inventory.

"When I first came across the trustless escrow technology built on top of the Bitcoin Cash network, I was impressed. Previously, I had seen many instances where third party escrow providers had exit-scammed users, resulting in the loss of funds."
-Luke Lynch

Just like other games in the steam CS: GO is really a popular shooting game for a long time, having this kind of escrow technology with the Bitcoin Cash could easily do some gain in the cryptocurrency community.

@Asuspawer09, it seems like nothing can stop UFC here, even the virus.. well, what about the fans, there will be no fans for this one? and we are just going to watch the PPV at home?

What are your thoughts? Is this safe  Grin Try social distancing in an Island  Grin

very safe if there's no fans watching this,.. and they might as well build some quarantine place in the Island, just in case someone will be infected.

I guess if one people have coronavirus is on the island it's about 80% that is on the Island is going to be infected too, Somehow social distancing could could depending on the size of the Island.

But I really doubt it even the fighters could spread coronavirus to the opponent so there is always a risk, I guess making this decision they are already expecting it so I guess they are already prepared for it.

In an island there are few people in there, they need to make sure there is no infected with covid-19 in an Island before they bring the fighters and other people so it's gonna be safe, now, if the test kit is accurate, there's no way people will be infected as they got tested before going into the Island.

I guess you have your point and this could actually work  Shocked

If they could just make an accurate test and identify those who are doesn't have coronavirus I think UFC on Island could actually work I guess the only problem here is money.

I'm just guessing having a Small Island would cost a big money or I guess renting think but for sure there are so many rich people that would go on that Island.
2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: PlayFuel: Fueling the Blockchain Gaming Industry on: April 08, 2020, 05:18:49 PM
Seems like, at this time where the COVID-19 virus is spreading, we cannot go outside our home that is why screen time in computers is increasing causing this gaming to be popular at this time.

Personally, it seems that gaming and cryptocurrency have their chemistry and a great combination, Where gamers could upgrade or use cryptocurrency as a currency in the game or trading with other players.

2630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before investing in bitcoin, What should I think about? on: April 08, 2020, 05:02:39 PM
Bitcoin investment makes me think a lot.
Of course, it takes a lot of thought to invest in things like Altcoin, Stock, fund, not just Bitcoin.

I have to think of 5 questions before investing in something. And answer it.

1. Which Purpose Are You Pursuing?
2. How Much Can You Realistically Set Aside for Investing?
3. When Will You Need This Money Again?
4. How Much Should Risk?
5. What Should You Invest In?

What should I think more than this?
What thoughts did you go through before investing in Bitcoin?

I guess it seems you are in a right path.

1. I guess the main purpose here in just for profit since bitcoin was digital money.

2. More like it's around 40% of my savings would be enough for investment it would be a risk but still I guess I could take losing it just in case.

3. On the other side, I guess the right answer is for an emergency like this times of coronavirus or survival, Also it would be better if could make as a passive income.

4.  same as 2.

5. The most volatile cryptocurrency so that you could plat along win the token and it could make a big income. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum and other popular altcoins.
2631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins Should Be Watched Closely in 2020 on: April 08, 2020, 04:40:15 PM
I don't really look for altcoins and not totally a fan of altcoins, I still believed that bitcoin is the only the best cryptocurrency but we cannot deny that we could still make profit in some of the altcoins in the market.

But the thing is i just think that is already so many altcoins in the market that is really affecting the demand of the altcoins since there are already thousands of altcoins or maybe millions of them demand of the community are getting divided resulting to a lot of dead tokens in the market.

Still, there are still some popular altcoins in the market that I think still profitable like ETHEREUM and at the month we could see some volatility in Ethereum where you could make a profit.

2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: April 08, 2020, 04:19:47 PM
We all read threads where people say that it is impossible to win against the house because the edge that is always against a gambler.

But often when I am playing dice and I see chat and view stats of some gamblers there are actually some profiles that show profits while some show loss so my question is, do people actually make profits from dice or the stats are misleading or something?

And I am talking about regular gamblers who I mean are active in chat almost daily so it's not like they made profit once and stopped gambling, they are active and gamble almost every day so how some guys are managing profits while others are failing?

Self-moderation policy:
When you talk on-topic, we are all fine to go. May lock after considerable discussion. Thanks for understanding.
To be honest, in my opinion, their are so many gamblers that actually lost than actually winning in most of the gambling website, When I was just starting in gambling, playing in a gambling website was actually a game that I think i could never win because it was just every time like for example in a betting game you could actually win for a few rounds but for sure in the end you are just going to lost all of your profit.

This was just the normal thing to think if you are just getting started in gambling but after experience or experiment in the game itself. It turns out you could actually win it with luck but of course, you cannot win all the time. Still, it was just depending in luck sometimes you are going to get a big profit in just a small-time so I guess you better stop playing or cash out already  Grin
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: April 08, 2020, 03:59:15 PM
Recently, TokenPocket has hosted a WeWearMask event to call on the community's joint effort in the fight against the Corona virus.
https://twitter.com/TokenPocket_TP/status/1246791435103293441
The participants will be prized with a  total of $2,300 and more. I think this is a good move to set up an example of how the crypto world can help to stop the virus. More projects should be doing this as well.
There are so many crypto platforms that are helping to fight the deadly coronavirus, there are so many donations came here in cryptocurrency and we sure do appreciate it a lot, even big companies are helping to provide donations from different country helping doest who are in need.

Either way, we cannot deny that here in the cryptocurrency platform we are more prone to scam so we better be careful to cryptocurrency or bitcoin donations since it cannot get back. We better verify first the website or address where we are going to donate. There are still so many people that don't have jobs because of the lockdown in a lot of countries so for sure a lot of people needed help at this time.
2634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: April 08, 2020, 03:19:33 PM
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.
Because of the coronavirus, the screen time of the community is increasing, a lot of people are almost like getting used to this kind of platform or in online.

We cannot stop scammers in their intent by what we could do is just to avoid them, in my opinion, a lot of people or newbies falling for this is just because of greed. For a bounty, project is this already a classic thing to do since we already know that there are just so many fraud projects here we could just check carefully about the team, developer or the company of the project and verify it, do some research if they are really a legitimate company at some point we can't really accurate every time.

2637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bot attack bounty thread on: April 07, 2020, 02:44:57 PM

In its spreadsheet has 5887 entries. So there are 5887 - 719 = 5168 fake/scam/bot entries.

I guess there are so many possibilities how could this happened but I'm thinking you could just limit the participants here or close the application if you reach a certain number of participants.

This could easily be done by bots, or maybe by the managers. But anyway the bounty could easily be managed by the manager so he could do remove a lot of participants here. I guess this is just normal at these times in a bounty campaign so I'm not really surprised what is happening here.

Now that almost all sporting events all over the world are cancelled, those wanting bet of sports events are left with having to find alternatives. What are the majority doing?

Are some giving up and trying to become reformed gamblers?

Are some gambling on casinos instead?

What are alternatives most sports betting users are now switching to?

How about this?
