2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 13, 2021, 03:56:18 AM
I lost my bet on NYK vs the Hornets.

NYK leads in the beginning, but as usual, the Hornets coming back in the middle of the 3rd and then takes over the 4th quarter.

Won on Boston ML though, so it's 1/1 for me today:

2622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 12, 2021, 06:20:18 AM
Tobias Harris is back and he is smoking hot with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists already at third quarter of a game against the Raptors.
76ers will just need to wait for Embiid while he is still at health and safety protocol  before they could be at full blast once again.
For now, Drummond should hold the defense below the rim and it appears like he can but not that better when Embiid was down there who is a threat on both end of the floor.

It's another close game we have right now. Toronto goes as high as 10 point lead in the 4th quarter, but the Sixers come back and cut it to 3 points.

And then Toronto keeps the lead, but Harris hits a 3 now, to cut the lead to 5. I don't have a bet on this game, but I like the chances of Toronto in the beginning.

Anyhow, 3 minutes to go, 100-107 Toronto leading.

And Toronto wins the game.

Without Embiid, it's good to bet against them, and VanVleet leads the team again. I'm seeing a good team now, they don't have a lot of all-stars in a team but they are having great chemistry, Gary Trent Jr. has found his home, he is good with the Blazers but he is better with the Raptors being a starter.

By the way, this win is without Paskal Siakam, that's just awesome.

Exactly, when I think that that game will go into OT, boom, Trent Jr and VanFleet back to back 3? damn, it's gonna hurt.

And so after that dagger 3, Toronto extends their leads and their is no way that the Sixers can come back from that.

In the Pacers vs Jazz game, there is another incident:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkvvjKpvc9k

Gobert and Turner has this scuffle with multiple ejections. Just a couple of days ago we have the Jokic vs Morris incident and now this one.
2623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Floki Inu vs Shiba Inu on: November 12, 2021, 05:39:44 AM

What do you think of meme coins?
You should understand that both shiba inu and floki inu rise on hype that is raised by Elon Musk's advertisement. I am very careful about meme coins. I don't think that they are really likely to survive long. They don't have neither innovative technologies under them, nor good projects. They don't solve any urgent problems, so I don't see any reasons why they can be popular in the long-term.

I think he understand it very much, that's why he is trying to shill or at least making a comparison that Floki Inu could be the next big thing as far as meme coin.

But we all know that they are no innovations behind, no use case whatsoever, except for money grabbing, greedy people who love to exploit these noobs in crypto space and take their money. Sorry to burst the bubble but this is what is happening right now. This is ICO fever of 2017 all over again.
2624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: November 12, 2021, 02:41:31 AM
Btw, is it already know officially where the rematch will be held? In Kiev? This would change few decimals in odds in Usyks favour for sure Cheesy

Here ; https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/957137/anthony-joshua-vs-oleksandr-usyk-rematch-date-start-time-venue-when-where-eddie-hearn/

Quote
Joshua vs Usyk 2: When and where could it happen?
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has said the rematch could take place in March or April in 2022.

Hearn also believes that the fight will be held in the UK again despite Usyk wanting to take it back to his homeland of Ukraine.

Though it's not final yet at least we have an idea of the location of the rematch fight.

I guess it should be in a place or country that will gain more viewers, especially those who will go to the venue so this big fight will make a good revenue, and if Joshua will bounce back and win, well, the big fight will be waiting for him.

No problem if the fight are going to be held in UK though, I guess it make sense as more UK fans are going to be interested to see their hero one last time (if he losses again to Usyk).

And I read that Joshua hasn't finalized yet on the trainer that he is going to select and he is going back to the States again second time to maybe pick the one that will fit his needs.

Nice picks everyone has unfortunately though I made a mistakes that I can't bet on today's match.

Just 3 games for tonight if I'm not mistaken, so I will pass on this one.

I will just enjoy the game and have some fun. I will be back tomorrow and deposit sats again and bet. So with that said, goodluck to everyone hope you win.  Grin
2627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 12, 2021, 01:12:03 AM
Is Tyson older now then when George Foreman came back and won to the surprise of everyone ?   Maybe that should be the rule as to whether this is a fair or pointless fight, I think he can beat Logan at any age tbh, certainly I dont feel he is past it in that regard but Tyson is younger then Foreman even we probably should be giving him more leeway.

Yes, Foreman become the oldest heavyweight champion at age 45 years old. Tyson now is age 55, so that's a 10 year discrepancy.

But base on his last exhibition fight against Roy Jones, Tyson can still pull the trigger and has power behind it. That's why people are concern about this fight and maybe that's were the argument is coming from of this fight being manipulated or rigged to protect Logan Paul.

But my bets will not be for them. I know the Nets will try to bounce back after a bad defeat against the Bulls. They had their rest too.
Nets -6.5 vs Magic Over 207.5. Good luck to everyone.

Thanks, I will tail you on this one, need to get back to winning against as I lost my bet the last time on the Sixers vs Bucks. I have Sixers +6.5, was very close in the last 1:40 minute of the game.

It's too bad though as to what is happening to Nuggets, and that's why MPJ is not that same because of his back injury. I was also wondering what's the reason of the decline of his play from last year.

Thanks again danherbias07 for your tip, I made it sweet though by doing a parlay with Wizards.

But it was very close, actually I thought that again, I lost my bet because the Cavs is leading throughout the game. But in the last 2 minutes of the game they come alive and fortunately cover the spread.

2629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 11, 2021, 02:22:11 AM
I'm sure there will be a new champion soon aside from Casimero and Donaire, obviously, Donaire will retire soon, so we need some fighters to step up and to continue bringing honor to our country.

And that was Reymart Gaballo. I'm with him against Nonito Donaire. I'm looking forward that Donaire will give Gaballo a difficult fight to win. Donaire still has that power but better hang his gloves now. He can't show his 100% to Gaballo because his target was Casimero and Naoya Inoue.

Donaire needs to be physically 100% in this fight, Gaballo is no push over, and he is very ambitious too and that's what makes him a very dangerous opponent for Donaire. I understand your reasoning, Donaire is old and might be slipping and fighters really do age and show it in their fight. As I have said, he needs to be perfect here, his preparation is everything. Otherwise, we will see Gaballo making an upset. And set the tone for a new Filipino coming up in the ranks.

And even being perfect may not be enough, it is obvious that Donaire is a great fighter but sometimes all the preparation of the world is not going to be enough because as you get old your body no longer responds as it used to, this means that even with the perfect preparation Gaballo could still beat him simply because he is younger, this is obviously unfair but it is the way all sporting competitions work and there is nothing he can do about it.

Correct, that's why we have a saying that boxers gets old overnight. Because how much they trained and dedicate themselves and sacrifice, it's not even enough for certain boxers to win.

Specially with the condition that Donaire is, he is no longer young and he could really get old in this fight, can't pull the trigger and his timing will be off. Giving the chance to Gaballo to become a new Filipino champion.
2630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more long term bear market on: November 11, 2021, 01:38:01 AM
If bear market is going to happen in 2022 it won't last long like the past because this adoption of a thing is 10x more stronger than the past, if you think that all crypto coins are going to lose 90% of their value again you are dreaming, oh unless Covid 2.0 happens

We really can't say if there will be no long bear market. Still depends on the situation, the last bear market was due to the fact that it had to happen as the market works in cycle. So regardless of there will still be the effects of covid-19 or not is out of the question.

Maybe if you say that because crypto's narrative has change specially the prime mover bitcoin has been used now as hedge by big companies in their balance sheet. Or many institutions are pouring their money on the crypto market right now.
2631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 11, 2021, 12:59:11 AM
So within a Month time now Middle East is the place ? now Casimero must Show how tough His Hands than His Mouth after delivering too much Badmouthing the past months .

Though I am aiming for Him to Win over Butler because i also wanted Him to face Inoue to see if he can take the Monster that Donaire did not achieve in His first try.

Yup, Dubai is the place.

Don't worry, Casimero can back the talk  Grin. Trash-talking seems to be part of the strategy to sell fight and often times it is effective and sometimes not. In boxing, they said that there is no such thing as an easy fight but this Butler fight is just a warm-up fight for bigger things to come for Casimero considering that he won't let his guards down IMO.
Warm up fight for Butler? I dont think so and he shouldnt really be that confident on fighting with Casimero. Not to say about their capabilities but i could say that Casimero
is indeed capable on beating him so he shouldnt really make those big talks before the fight but its right that trashtalks is really part of the business for them to sell
out the fight and able to get more revenue but this is much better than compared into those exhibition fights that we do have right now.
Its worth of spending some bucks rather than into those circus dance.

Maybe what he meant is that for a preparation for a bigger fight like Nonito or Inoue in the future.

But for sure Casimero are not going to take the fight against Butler lightly, he wanted to show the world has powerful fighter he is. That's why we are expecting a knock out coming from him because he is really destroying everyone leading up to the belt he won against Tete and then defended it already.
2632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO: Tim Cook already interested in Bitcoin on: November 11, 2021, 12:14:02 AM
I'm not surprised though, maybe Tim Cook has been dabbing on bitcoin personally for years now.

And perhaps what he is saying is that maybe Apple too can diversify their portfolio and put bitcoin on their balance sheet as other company is doing right now. And then they will satisfy their customers by accepting bitcoin in the future as mode of payment, for all the marbles of being a bitcoin enthusiast.

Hehe Morris acting like he was run over by a truck after giving a hard foul. He could have sent someone flying if it was someone smaller and not a bigger guy in Jokic. Call it cheap shot but I think what Jokic did was fine to send a message that he's not to be taken lightly. It would have been better if it was a push but Morris would have acted the same way.

That is something we normally see in the 90's era, but the difference is, they keep the intensity of the rivalry inside the court. Unlike what happened to this brothers who took the everything even in the social media. They kinda acting like kids quarreling in the social media lol.

However, I don't know why Jimmy Butler was so mad about it that he was willing to put his career on the line just to have a brawl with the whole Nuggets team lol.

That's gangsta Jimmy for you, Lol, but I like the attitude though, he is the leader of the team so he is supposedly to protect everyone to the point wherein he want's to take the whole Nuggets team by himself.

What can you say about the Hawks slump though? they have been in the Eastern Conference finals last year and now they in a 5 game losing streak.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 09, 2021, 02:24:24 AM
I got my first win for the week:

Yes, it was very close, but the Knicks has some final kick specially when they have that time out when Sixers is trying to come back and closing the gap to 2 points. Randle leading the team again but Barrett and Fournier and Quickley play crucial minutes and score good point for them.
2636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 07, 2021, 05:15:27 AM
Two very close win for me,
Miami Heat has a good lead going into the 4th quarter, but they almost didn't cover the spread.

While the opposite thing happen year, Hawks manage to stay in the lead throughout the 3rd and 4th.

But Suns come back and win the game.

2637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China is the biggest user of digital currency, its just not bitcoin on: November 07, 2021, 02:35:06 AM
Lol, this is pretty obvious,

1. one of the world biggest population
2. they have an oppressive government that all you can do is to follow otherwise you will be jailed

So just image the continue transactions that is happening inside the country using their digital Yuan. And it could be cashless too, just like those countries in the UE wherein credit card or cheques is the norm. As for bitcoin, maybe we really need to wait if it will become global, maybe 5-10 years down the road.
2638  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 07, 2021, 02:12:38 AM
...this must be fun.

Or not. LOL! Boxing is not Deron William's business. Neither is it Frank Gore's. So I don't know what these two men are smoking lately but I doubt they will give real boxing fans a good show. But, well, these men have a big following that may be interested to watch their favorite athletes on the gloves inside the ring. I hope they won't be disappointed.

Anyway, does anybody think that the rise of celebrity boxing matches is already reaching a bothersome point?

I agree, sometimes you really have to think about why this players are jumping on the bandwagon of celebrity boxing matches and then gets knock out? Doesn't make any sense at all. Specially for Deron, who has a good solid career as a NBA player, but totally ruin his reputation by accepting this kind of exhibition match just for the money. It's becoming a bothersome for the sports itself.
2639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 07, 2021, 01:31:09 AM
Who you got on Jazz vs Miami? I can't seem to find an update if Mitchell or Lowry will play for their respective teams. The Heat looks to have the advantage offensively if both players mentioned won't play but Clarkson seems to have gotten out of his slump lately and will be shooting a lot.

I guess Lowry is questionable in today's game. The odds is good for the Heat today, even if Lowry will not lace up.
And yes the Heat is most likely to have the advantage against a Mitchelle-less Utah.
However, If Clarkson plays the same energy like the recent game they had and score efficiently then I can say the Jazz could bag this one.
Nevertheless, this is also a good bet for the Jazz. There's no huge difference in odds anyway, and I can also fell this will be a close game.

He is already playing and the usual Lowry we've seen so far with the Heat, so fiery and even got 1 technical fouls already. Mitchelle did play as well, but the defense of Butler is very stiff, he can score when Butler is not on him, but when Butler guards him, he was able to shut down Donovan.

Miami by 15 points now, last 7 minutes, it will be crucial for Jazz to make a comeback.

But Miami is playing very good and everyone is scoring and having a good time.
2640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 07, 2021, 12:48:30 AM
Miami Heat will be tested now against a defensive team Utah Jazz. Chicago Bulls can also redeem themself in their home court this time against the 76ers.
Good games that must be watched later on. Will go for live betting on those two.

Number one seed from the west against the number 2 from the east both teams are performing so well,

I would like to see the Heat defending their homecourt, coming from that poor loss against Celtics, they will  be tested again. Herro and Lowry needs to work more adding good numbers knowing how fearless the Jazz.

Clarckson's performance against the Hawks is really amazing, even without their main man Mitchel Jazz managed to survived.

And with Bulls against Chicago, homecourt also is a good advantage, Chicago almost snatched the game but Curry managed to lift the team.

I am going with the Heat here, they have the home-court advantage and I'm pretty sure they'll use their quickness and good defense against the Utah Jazz to beat them. Miami Heat's record has been dominating teams that they beat, so I think it's not a good idea to fade them at their home although they only have a 3-1 record at home.

If this will be a close game then I guess Heat still got the edge as they are only -2 and they could cover that.

Same here but I have them -2.5 @1.91. So far the game is really a back and forth although the Heat built a 11 point lead but was able to cut by the Jazz. Score at the first half, 55-52 in favor of the Heat. Lowry and Clarkson both have one technicals already.

So it will be interesting second half, hopefully the Miami Heat can pull this one against a tough road team like the Jazz.
