?

Hello again, I'm just going through my lists on the [Guide] Broadcast Your RAW Transaction (Push TX) BTC & Alts coins thread and was just checking if your program is still active?

The list above has a couple of broken links to site that are no longer available.

Thanks.
2622  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network FAQ on: April 05, 2021, 03:51:26 PM
...  That's one of the reasons I like Phoenix Wallet so much: when I sent 420,000 sat, I got a channel with 420,000 sat (minus 0.1%) outgoing capacity, and also more than 200,000 sat incoming capacity. I didn't have to do anything.  ...

OK... I'd heard of Phoenix LN Wallet a while ago, but hadn't done anything to investigate it until now.  Not long after the above post I followed the github link and downloaded the Android APK, installed it on a 7" tablet and then sent the bc1... wallet address BTC 0.01 from my mobile phone's Eclair Wallet as I'd briefly read that Phoenix is based on Eclair LN Wallet which I have been using for some time now.  (Just as an aside, none of the Eclair LN channels values on my mobile phone have changed for many weeks).

I'd paid 20sats/byte TX fee and not long later I discovered 999,000 sats had been created into a channel (The channel connects where to?  No idea at this point) with ~3,750 INBOUND capacity inbuilt into the single channel.

Having probably misread the above post, I waited 24 hours and no additional channels (with inbound capacity) were created, so I sent 100,000 to a LN wallet on another device.

Another 24 hours went by and still no inbound channels were created, so I sent via LN (from a secondary LN source) ~2,500 sats bringing the balance just above 902,000 sats.  But no secondary LN channel was forthcoming.

The next day, I sent the Phoenix Wallet BTC 0.001 from a different wallet to all previous sources thus far to a bc1... wallet address rolled by the App.  After generating the wallet address, I shut the program down and left it closed until after the funds had had a number of confirmations.

12 hours ago, roughly 12 hours after sending the BTC 0.001 I opened the Phoenix Wallet and got a near instant message stating the funds had arrived via the bc1... wallet address.

However, when I went into the channel list I discovered a second LN channel has been opened but with 99,900 sats outbound AND ~122,000 sats inbound capacity in the one channel.

on reviewing the wallet address in mempool.space (their linked block explorer) I can only see one inbound and one out bound transaction cancelling my theory the other side sends funds to jointly open a channel then sends funds out to create inbound capacity

However #2 the outbound TX has three wallet addresses sending funds to another (two) addresses.  I suspect one very close to the combined inbound/outbound/TX fee is "my" transaction which then lends me to suspecting Phoenix co-creates it's channels using your and their funds.

Which makes me wonder just how "custodial" Phoenix really is?

Unfortunately, as with the Eclair LN Wallet I seem to be in the same predicament in that as soon as the screen goes dark, the program goes into hybernation and the channels effectively go off-line (so I can't run Phoenix as a node on my tablet)

I also can't open channels to whomever I want to either, so (if my five week (and counting!!) TX from one Zap wallet to another Zap wallet ever gets confirmed) I'll be back to creating a series of Zap LN channels which I can keep open on my PC.

(mumble Now that I have a working PC again... mumble)

2624  Economy / Scam Accusations / Fake testimonials on "TX accelerator" site https://provenance.im/ on: April 05, 2021, 04:24:21 AM
This thread is to alert both the fake accelerator ( provenance.im ) and the fake testimonial creator site ( demo.divipeople.com ).

The website https://provenance.im/ - Archive [1a], [1b] 1s being advertised on the website http://www.blockcypher.com/ which uses third party advertising (and therefore is not associated with the advertisement (At least I don't think they are...)).

During my research I found that there has been a previous thread: Provenance.im - Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator Scam however, as I stated above, I uncovered the site and scam through different methods.

All merits received in the first 24 hours will go to margana who authored the above Forum thread.

As far as I know when you buy any other car (not Tesla) you can make any modifications you want using your money.

While that is mostly true I can give you at least one example - Rolls Royce who when selling a car place a covenant on that car concerning service and resale.  They even tried to force John Lennon to repaint his psychedelic Rolls back to it's previous colour scheme.

I'd started to do a post and it got lost, so "take two" as they say...

Screen shots via https://www.nrl.com/

Round four as you can see above I'd called the Panthers (but somehow forgot to place a wager).  The three Qld teams, Broncos, Cowboys and Titans all lost (thankfully I didn't place bets on two and won picking the Storm over the Broncos)  With one game left to play I've called four correctly and one incorrectly (NZ Warriors and Roosters have won one and lost one in rounds three and four).  I'm expecting Wests' Tigers to eat the Eeels.

Round Five of the 2021 Season kicks off in a few days.  Based on the the round four results, my picks to win are:

Rabbitohs, NZ Warriors, Panthers, Knights, Storm, Roosters, Wests' Tigers and the Dragons.

The odds are too short for two games:

Australia's Ash Barty was in fine form winning the tournament in her first outing in the last year.  I'm just sorry I never put any money down on her matches (I'd remember to do so when I was at work or out but it'd slip my mind by the time I got home again).
2629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OSCARS 2021- Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: April 02, 2021, 03:31:39 PM
Quite a few people in this thread have missed a key point about the Acadamy Awards (Oscars) in that it has become a very topical platform for political statements to be made.  Look to the winners of the recent Emmy Awards and you will see strong voter preferences for performances in very relevant to today stories.

The Oscars will be no different.
2630  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 02, 2021, 03:22:23 PM
There were a group of users who, when Lauda was removed from the DT a couple of years ago (for previous indiscretions) blindly copied Lauda's Negative trust feed-backs dishing out identical negatives as thought they were their own.  No checks or balances to ensure that the negatives were truthful, thus perpetuating grudges in some cases that Lauda has/had with others.

As some have said in the immediate previous posts, peoples views can, do and should change over time with new information and a better understanding of what had occurred in the past.

Who is going to chase up those mirrored negative trust feed-backs to ensure they decay or are removed later on?  Answer - no one.

How do people reply here so quickly after their name is posted!? I never understand that. It's like they search their username just to see if they've been caught yet lol.

i'm guessing timelord either bcc's them or let's them know .. Good question tho.

I couldn't be bothered BCC'ing, CC'ing or just telling anyone that they have made an appearance.  I'm guessing they monitor their trust wall, or turn to this page (every day)... the possibilities are endless.

Probably an early form of the Telegram notification bots that are used here ??

Regardless of that, how long has this been dragging on for? Why I ask is that you posted this back in August of last year:

HardyGoodsLtd    2020-08-04        ok, so here is the story, I have had successful trades in the past with this user, and we recently done quite a bit of trading, but because this user uses multiple different paypal accounts, my paypal account has been blocked and under investigation, I am assured by this user that all funds are clean and no issue will be found, but it has caused me real trouble IRL as I use my paypal account for day to day living, so I have changed my feedback from negative to neutral, I am just having to wait untill paypal unlock my account.

Now you've escalated it here:

HardyGoodsLtd    2021-03-30    Reference    please read link, trade at your risk of loosing payapal account, dirty money after claims 100% genuine.
2632  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to change some negative trust ratings to neutral or delete them? on: April 02, 2021, 04:06:57 AM
Perhaps if a negative trust feedback were to "decay" over time if an account that left the feedback becomes inactive for a period of time.  Eventually, a behind the curtain score starts at 100 then dwindles away to zero at which point the feedback reverts to neutral.

THEN if the account continues to remain dormant, the neutral feedback also diminishes from e.g. 1,000 (10,000??) down to zero and then disappears

I think it'd be reasonable if both the 100 to zero and 1,000/10,000 clocks ticked over once per week (100 weeks is close to two years - more than enough time for others to be warned).

Perhaps to counter if a user is away then returns; for each one month the score ticks over one notch in the opposite direction until it returns to the 100% score??

I personally feel Banned users trust feedback and default trust should time out and evaporate regardless of an inactive user coming back and recharging the score.

Likewise, any "Nuked" user's trust feedback and default trust should be "nuked" when the account is.

2634  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Fees for bitcoin mixing? on: April 02, 2021, 02:52:22 AM
You can also try other services such as https://doublemixer.github.io/ which utilise two separate mixing services to mix A - C - D - B.

Their ANN thread can be found here:  Double Mixer: Mix your Bitcoin with two mixers in series  (There's no mention on their website or ANN thread what the fees are - I guess if you're needing to use two mixers, then you're prepared to pay the fee).

I haven't used them myself.

The problem just about anyone wanting to make a similar vehicle (be it petrol, diesel or electric) is the developers will have to be able to demonstrate their research and development from first pencil/CAD sketch to final product.  Otherwise the companies of today will claim the product has been "reverse engineered" and the company in question will face financial ruin or many years in court attempting to prove the already on the market product wasn't copied.

Didn't take long...

Crikey.  You are not even capable of letting an April Fools thread go unspoiled by your obsessive personal grudges, psychotic fantasies, and accusations based on no evidence.

Not only that, suchmoon gave theymos a golden shower to the tune of 19 merits (in-spite theymos' repeated requests that users don't send merits their way) which shows how gullible suchmoon is that this is a real thing in their eyes.

If theymos wanted to prank the forum they would have gotten bigger laughs seeding the Default Trust list with newbies, or, switching the DT Trolls to negative for a month.

Is this another Howie Coin grab for donations from unsuspecting newbies?

Actually, it's occurred to me that this is this years' April Fools day prank.

No it’s very real. fNFT whales we are!

If it's real, how can Last of the V8s have offered their token for sale if they were last online in 2020?

Another wager on the Round Four of the NRL Rugby League competition:

https://nitrogensports.eu/sportsbook

New Zealand Warriors to win over the Sydney Roosters who also lost last week.
2640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] - Union / League / Super / Sevens on: April 01, 2021, 01:09:46 AM
Round 4 of the NRL Rugby League competition begins in nine hours time:

Screen shot via https://www.nrl.com/

I'm expecting the Panthers to continue their for from last week.  Dragons to slay the Knights (scorch them?)  And Wests' Tigers will eat the Eels if they are able to continue their form from last week.

*edit* Late bet for the New Zealand Warriors to win over the Roosters who lost last week to the Rabbitohs.

How did you do after your round 3 bets?

Union:  Won 2 / Lost 1

  • I won on the Chiefs over the Blues / Scotland over France
  • Lost calling the Highlanders' over the Hurricanes /

League:  Won 2 / Lost 2

-
  • Won Rabbitohs over the Roosters / New Zealand Warriors over the Canberra Raiders /
  • Lost calling the Bull Dogs over the Broncos / Lost in the Qld Cup Townsville beat the Easts' Tigers

I won't be putting a bet on the in form Rabbitohs because they are the firm favorites and it's reflected in the odds:

I haven't been following the form of the Gold Coast Titans, or the North Queensland Cowboys, but I expect they'll win over their respective opponents (but I won't be putting a wager on either game)
