Vod, I love your website! It's great to see detailed Merit stats, modlog and information about banned users.
I checked some profiles and saw "have at least x sMerit available". Can I ask you why it's shown only on some profiles?

We don't know how many sMerits people got from the original distribution so the 'at least..' number just means available from the sMerit gained from receiving Merit. Accounts that have spent all of that may still have some distribution sMerit left but it is unknown so nothing is displayed. The same goes for sources as it is unknown how much they get each month.

for more than 3 years, never won any lottery or free hand, because I do not believe in random wins, and observation win only new, and the old rest on the sidelines, throughout the time watching Your all the news on all resources ! My USER ID 2980038

Really?

The site looks great now that i have deposited Smiley
I been with this site since 2015, lost big money with other -investing- sites, but never had a problem with freebitcoin.
Can you please give me an updated response for Crypteer.com, is it still on? i am accumulating BCH and DOGE, as i remember they will be first altcoins to be accepted.
But please solve my doubt, my only matter why i am posting this:
I have many refeers, most of them came by paidverts.com.
But 3 of them are my personal referrals, my mother, my syster and my brother, and i can clearly see that if you dont deposit money into the site you just cant win other than base price.
So please tell us, is there any propability to win more than a base price to users that havent deposit?
IT JUST SEEMS THAT THE GAME IS NOT PROVABLY FAIR, i know its just math,i cant prove it, but how come my mom didnt get 9886 in 6 months, odds are....and when i have deposited 50usd i just won more than the base price 4 times in a row...
Hey FREEBITCO just pease dont fuck with me as you are the last place where i deposit my money, the last place i choose to trust as Wetsuit gain my trust over the years

It is not maths it is probabilities, there is always variance in luck. Provably fair means you can prove it to yourself. Follow the instructions and verify the results, you can use your own choice of tools to do that if you don't trust our verifier.

Why does it take so long to display the Lottery results? I thought this was a automated task.  Huh I have started to buy tickets

for the next lottery and the previous Lottery results have not even be displayed yet? http://prntscr.com/khpzko  I closed the

browser and opened it again with a fresh page and it did not display the Lottery results for the previous draw.  Huh Roll Eyes Huh

I am curious to see if the same people are winning the lottery again.  Roll Eyes

Because we have to wait for the Bitcoin network to pick the winners. The client seed is the hash of the 12th blocked mined after the ticket list is published.

Download the ticket file and it tells you the block number we are waiting for.

Edit:

I downloaded the file and we're waiting for block 536470.

I was specifically looking for a voice in comment from page 1-2 and only this post makes me think that selling accounts is not prohibited but you will probably get a red tag from DT members,  because most of the bought accounts are used for scamming (not all)  IMO.

And most of the account sellers are scammers that don't have accounts to sell. You'll pay and then they will disappear.

Looks like some of that hash is gone. A rental I imagine, be odd if it was pool hopper to hop in here and take off. What a waste of a couple days.

The wild swings are coming from the Halong burn in address. They had over 12,000 workers at one point yesterday and less than 4,000 right now.

1) Make it so that posts from lower ranked members don't bump the thread to the top (ideally up to Member)
Only for certain boards, right? A Newbie with a serious question should still get the attention he needs.

That's the point I wanted to make. Now that I manage a couple of service threads I get a lot of people that only joined the forum to ask a question or raise a support issue. It would make it difficult for me to have to keep checking to see if there were new posts.

We've discussed this recently in other threads and I still think manually approving the first post for each new account, as is done on many other forums, is the best way to combat this.

-   90 are waiting to be named Legendary, having and initial merit of 1.000 (Hero exceptions theymos mentioned once as having received an airdrop of 1K merit if I’m not mistaken). These are in the randomizer queue you mention.
-   1, Jet Cash, has formally made it to Legendary having been awarded >= 500 additional Merits (not in the 1.060 sum since he is now a Legendary).
-   3 more are virtually there (Last of the V8s, TMAN, hilariousetc), having been awarded >= 500 additional Merits, but lack the formal Legendary rank title (also in the randomizer queue therefore).
-   2 are nearly there, with over 900 merits in all (awarded over 400 merits): BTCforJoe & HCP.
-   3 are close, with over 800 merits in all (awarded over 300 merits): marlboroza, romanornr and Hhampuz.
-   4 have over 700 merits in all (awarded over 200 merits): tonych, sabotag3x, poptop and TryNinja.
-   17 have over 600 merits in all (awarded over 100 merits).
-   941 have under 600 merits in all (awarded under 100 merits).

Thanks, that's a great breakdown of the data but just to be awkward I don't fit into any of those categories as I'm one of the few to rank up from Sr. So I guess I'm included in the '17 have over 600 merits in all (awarded over 100 merits)' group.
2630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Discussion]How to decentralize the price of the bitcoin? Self-moderated. on: August 12, 2018, 08:45:12 AM
As to what satoshi mentioned in his paper, his main intention was to use the electronic transaction without a third party and to prevent the double spending problem which was prevailing in the earlier predecessor of bitcoin (hashcash and b-money).

Not to be pedantic here but you missed the most important word out.

Quote from: Satoshi link=https://nakamotoinstitute.org/bitcoin/#selection-61.4-61.211
What is needed is an electronic payment system based on cryptographic proof instead of trust, allowing any two willing parties to transact directly with each other without the need for a trusted third party.

Transactions not having to trust a third party and being irreversible is part of it. My opinion here is that although it isn't explicitly stated in the white paper he went much further and didn't want to trust the creation of money supply to a third party either. Otherwise, we could have ended up with something like Tether. A payment system on its own doesn't require its own currency, but it does require trust in the issuers of whatever currency is used.

He has never discussed about the inflation, though he has stated that his main goal was to create a immutable currency. He might have thought that the capped supply could prevent inflation in the value and a stable price would be reached. But since miners receive the coins every 10 minutes, this speculative value won't reach a stable price soon.

He could have just as easily set a constant block reward of 50 BTC forever. This is what makes me think most that he had the intention of making Bitcoin a digital gold. There is a finite amount of gold below ground and as it is mined the easiest to extract gold comes in to supply and as time goes by it gets ever more difficult to mine the gold that is left.

It's just a personal opinion but everything about the design tells me this was always the intention. The words in the genesis block  “The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks”. It wasn't that banks were going to fail and depositors would lose money, it was that governments were devaluing our money to bail them out. We all paid for those bailouts.

(Hero to Legendary looks like a steep path that only felines have been able to tackle so far).

That isn't really surprising when you consider that with the Legendary randomiser just to get the activity takes between 9 and 18 months. It will interesting to see how many have made it after that time has elapsed.

@cryptofarid10 wrong thread, report it here:

So I can drive that balance to 0$ by keep playing/buying?

No. If you keep a balance above $50 you will get the full reward even if you never gambled at all.
2633  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 12, 2018, 06:18:00 AM
Good evening.

I have a question: since the downgrade in the base roll on freebitcoin, I've been playing in High/Roll and buying lottery tickets without any withdraw yet. Base bonus roll still in a half and I just wanted to know if there is a ratio of how much I need to invest (without deposit because i don't have enough) to recover the bonus roll and beign able to use my reward points for the best boost, since I can't even use them to win more btc and invest them to recover my normal status.

Regards.

You can get back to full reward by keeping a balance of $50 or more. That number will be significantly reduced for you as the lottery tickets and wagering are also taken into account.
2634  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 11, 2018, 06:58:48 PM

if 1.2 bitcoins is a lifechanging sum for you , you should change your life first place  Roll Eyes
110 bitcoins wagered means that the guy has lost alot trying to wager up
statistically,he should be around 5 bitcoins in the negative (5% house edge *110 btc wagered)
well, unless he is a very lucky mofo or has a nice wagering strat that works for low banks

He was lucky.
2635  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in an actual scam on: August 11, 2018, 06:56:39 PM

First I want to say sorry for bumping this post. I totally trust freebitco.in and have been an active member for many years.

It would be better to start a new thread as anyone seeing this bumped is unlikely to be someone interested in your inquiry.

My question is about the "Earn BTC" section of the site.

Has anyone had problems with it

I know it is only my word but since I started doing support in March the only issue I have had to deal with was one panicky customer when our hosting site had a problem that took all our history servers down and meant we couldn't display the recent interest payments data.

and how much BTC would you trust keeping on your balance to earn interest daily?

Thanks for your feedback.  Wink

That's a question which everyone will have a different view and if you want answers I'd suggest starting a thread with that in the title.
2636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Discussion]How to decentralize the price of the bitcoin? Self-moderated. on: August 11, 2018, 02:04:45 PM
Bitcoin was not created to be used as an alternative to Gold/Silver which would appreciate in future. Limitation in total supply is another factor which is why Bitcoin is being compared to Gold.

Gold and silver were both originally used as currency. I think that the similarity with the limited supply and the mining analogy show that it was very much the intention to have a deflationary money. You have to remember the context of the time Bitcoin was created. It was the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis which led to central banks running huge QE programs where peoples wealth held in fiat currencies was deliberately devalued by government policy. That can't happen in a decentralised system with a finite supply. That's exactly why people that understand that part of Bitcoin would rather store their wealth in it.
2637  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 11, 2018, 01:51:53 PM
Why u don't reduce the house edge? It's too high. 5% house edge!!! It will be great for all user if u reduce it. Freebitco is not a faucet now. It's gambling site. So it will be better to reduce house edge and it will attracted more gambler to come and back again.

Because that's what pays for all the reward points, lottery tickets and bonuses. It works well this way and it attracts more gamblers because most of them don't look for low house edge, they look for other benefits.
2638  Other / Meta / Re: ban appeal on: August 11, 2018, 12:21:54 PM
Ye, I know for what I got banned, so I have no chance to get an apply?

Appealing a ban means you think that the decision was wrong for some reason.

Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated).

Clearly, you did break the rules so there is nothing to appeal.

I just looked at the previous wagering contest's stats and was amazed by the such a small difference in wagered amount between the first and the second place.

Imagine the joy of the winner, who got 0.64679790 BTC more for wagering additional 0.8. I'm wondering what was going on during the last day of the contest? Where the last minutes decisive? I think they where.

Great contest. Congrats to all the winners!

Yeah, they both went head to head for the last few days of the contest and the places kept swapping over. I missed the last few hours due to sleeping.

The second place last month has just made an entrance to this months competition with a quick 55BTC wagered. It looks like they were waiting for the 4x reward point weekend.

I am having the same problem again~

I think you are still having problems understanding how it works. As fauwil just explained the "Stop betting after loss" is not for an individual bet it is for the session. So your session must have been in enough profit to allow it to place that last 0.00002560 bet which then took the session to a loss greater than 0.00000529 so it stopped.

yes you are correct,i just realized that,i apologize for accusing you for being scam, but i am still sceptical about your autobot though

Our auto-bet works the same way as every other site. If you want something you have greater control over try https://bot.seuntjie.com/
