I don't understand why google has to be so unfriendly to Bitcoin or digital currencies... If you look at it... millions of people use google to search and research about Bitcoin and digital currencies. So it's always a win from them...
why can't they get that point!?

People should be thankful for this information, however, I do think you should also post some proof that these faucets are effectively running scams, otherwise you might be accusing a perfectly honest site.
2627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: i hate cryptsy on: September 09, 2015, 09:01:57 PM
Yes I always had issues with cryptsy. But I kinda like the exchange.

But, lately there has been a lot of claims saying that the exchange was stealing from customers... I dunno if its true but a lot of people has been complaining.

2632  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have you bought PACmic from Hashnest? on: September 09, 2015, 07:55:20 PM
Yeah, as long as S5 is profitable, or when they run out of contracts to buy. https://www.hashnest.com/contracts/new

There was 30.000 available 25 days ago.
The auto-buy feature, buys from the same pool of available contracts.

Ok! thanks.

I even believe we will still see a $400 BTC price before the end of the year Wink

I guess I'll put in a few coins and let's see if it works out fine!
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: September 09, 2015, 07:11:19 PM
Real cool project! I'm in. I would like to give my contribute as well!

Will I be able to mine it, run a node or manage a pool or something like that?

If you have a GPU that can mine Ethereum you will be able to mine Expanse. As for managing a pool that would be like normal, there will be pools that others provide I am sure, and if you could set one up that would be welcome.

Yes, I have some GPUs and I'm willing to mine it. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get my GPUs to mine ether :\

do you have any tutorial for windows?
2634  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have you bought PACmic from Hashnest? on: September 09, 2015, 07:08:03 PM
Hi Bitcointalkers!

Since the beginning, I've always been an hashnest\ bitmain customer.

I was wondering if any of you guys has bought the PACMIC contract from them. I was looking to know if you are satisfied and if it's worth the investment.

Let me know your experience with these contracts.

I bought PACMIC v3.

With auto-buy on, it gives you ~2% monthly interest on your total investment. It's basically a low-rent loan, to hashnest.

Calc:

Web: http://steal1982.altervista.org/pacmic_calculator.php
Python script: http://steal1982.altervista.org/hashnest.php

Cool! Thanks for the calculator. I could be wrong, but It seems to be profitable if the price maintains its current "stability".

The contract runs for how long? as long as its profitable it runs?

hell no... apart from claims that Cryptsy is somehow stealing customer's funds, a new scandal is about to go off. This is what gives digital currencies a bad name!
2638  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin for Peace - A FOXBIT campaign for Peace One Day on: September 09, 2015, 04:45:55 PM
Stop! Think…
Have you ever noticed how confusing the world is?
Well, we have too.

Therefore, motivated by the possibility of helping people, the FOXBIT has decided to join the Peace One Day for it we have created the campaign Bitcoin for Peace, which it’s objective is to invite all bitcoin exchanges around the world to donate their fees collected on September 21th, the International Day of Peace, declared by United Nations.

What is Peace On Day?

In 1981, the United Nations has declared 21 de Setembro as the International Day of Peace. The goal is to reflect, become aware and propose actions to establish peace and the end of violence in the world. Check more information on the UN website..
This year's theme is Partnership for peace - Dignity for All, which is why several companies are creating campaigns and actions to join with competitors for peace.
We think that the bitcoiners and companies in the bitcoin ecosystem are able to collaborate with the actions proposed by Peace One Day, to make difference and take a positive message from the bitcoin community to the world.

How it works?

Our idea is to donate all of the fees received by transaction in our platform on September 21 and invite all bitcoin exchanges (and other cryptocurrencies) to join in this campaign with us!

Who will receive the donations?

he intention of this campaign is to make the world more peaceful, but in the meantime, we need to help the people who are in conflict areas, therefore we have decided to deliver the donation to the NGO Médecins Sans Frontičres.
We chose the MSF because it’s one of the biggest organizations which brings help in cases of armed conflict, terrorism or internal guerrilla (as in Síria, South Sudan, Lemen and Chase).
The NGO promotes peace and solidarity, also help refugees of violence all over the world. For more information about MSF, visit the official website.

How can you collaborate?

If you are not part of any bitcoin exchange and want help us in this action, there are many other ways you can help too:

Who is already participating?

Until now, except for FOXBIT there are no other bitcoin exchange working with us together in this action.

To participate in this action, send an email to peaceoneday@foxbit.com.br then we will include your company on our website.

I find this to be an excellent initiative since it benefits the bitcoin community by bringing more awareness to digital currencies while it contributes for humanitarian causes.
2639  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MARS one on 2025 on: September 09, 2015, 04:42:46 PM
It is a brilliant plan and it marks the beginning of Man's space colonization. However, I do find that it would be far more important to first build an outpost on the moon.

If we want to go far of our system the moon could be the best space airport for interstellar voyages.
2640  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: September 09, 2015, 04:29:15 PM
Atheists believe in science. Science already proved that there is no need for gods for the Universe and life as we know it to appear!

They hate religion because history taught them that Religion was always the main reason for war.

So why believe in a punishing God who wages war against those who oppose him can something that we should believe??? it is a completely ignorant belief!
