Exiting week ahead, $1400-$1500 is very plausible followed with a decent $100-$200+ dump.

Alt-coin bubble pops will make bitcoin rocket to $2000  Grin

Great article why BTC is better than ETH

Be sure that you are reading the comments also.

Cant wait for SegWit & Rootstock.

Its like BTC+ smart contracts + scaling...

RIP altcoins.

ITS COMING.

I always believed that side chains will be the new altcoins. Mimblewimble, Rootstock, TubmleBit, LN are just the beginning of so many with there own specialization.

They will disrupt this fiat system greatly.

Am I paranoid again?  Huh

No you're not paranoid, Jihan is.

Bitcoin is just like a good tv show, we're now at episode 234.

Jihan Ver VS the users.
2626  Other / Off-topic / Re: the multiverse on: April 27, 2017, 05:53:51 PM
I dont think there is a 'wall' at the end of the universe. It will be one infinite ore this is one of millions of universes.

Crazy stuff when you think about it just like the beginning of time and everything...i mean you cant create something out of nothing Huh

2628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will LN Hubs require a Banking License / Banking Cartels will take over Crypto on: April 26, 2017, 01:08:13 PM
We need to make the network ready for all those hundreds of millions of potential users otherwise it will cripple when we have an influx of new people. To prevent is better than to cure.

On the other hand we need to focus on the path in front of us rather than worry about what's 30 miles ahead.

Raising the 1mb limit TODAY is more important than being ready for hundreds of millions of users

The idea that seggy and LN will then attract hundreds of millions of potential users just like that is hilarious. Blocksize can go up to meet the demand now. What may happen in 10 years time is not a priority.

Lightning network risks section lists more bad movies than the horror channel.

Bitcoin developers should be working in the interests of the bitcoin network as a whole, not serving the interests of a 2nd layer proposal.

You dont understand what LN and those other side-chains can do, and did you know they're all being designed around Segwit for obvious reasons? You dont know how big Bitcoin's potential is and how to anticipate on it by thinking big.

Do you guys really think Bitcoin can go mainstream with just bigger blocks? 2mb 10mb 50mb 100mb 250mb 500mb it's not enough by far if you want to fck up this entire fiat system Shocked. If you want to scale on-chain to mainstream you need atleast min 1GiG blocks...wablief Lips sealed Now you know why dev's are making l2 projects.

If Satoshi disigned Bitcoin only as a store of value then they didn't named it as 'Cash system', do i need to explain what a 'Cash system' is? Go read Satoshi's white paper in particular the 'References' at the end. You dont read that stuff just for fun it's high lvl of information which makes things more clear before you talking dogshit next time ok?

I advice you to read all of that, Bitcoin is the result of all that knowledge combined.
2629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will LN Hubs require a Banking License / Banking Cartels will take over Crypto on: April 26, 2017, 02:30:53 AM
The fact that we're even having this discussion should tell people something VERY critical:

LN is centralizing by nature if you try to implement it as a primary scaling solution.  It is not the p2p scaling solution it is sometimes advertised as.  LN will not solve all the scaling problems.  We still need massive on chain scaling.

LN is not the only project out there, Mimblewimble, Rootstock, TubmleBit all with there own specialization. More to come guaranteed. Mainstream adoption is not possible with only bigger blocks without losing security for a very long time. You can always use Bitcoin like we all do today if you dont like all of those cool payment options. The more options people have the better.

Based on current condition, i think more options isn't better since it might cause community split, FUD or the community/miners never agree on same solution/upgrade.

Yhea, but it's not needed at this time of speaking but we will need it eventually. We need to make the network ready for all those hundreds of millions of potential users otherwise it will cripple when we have an influx of new people. To prevent is better than to cure. Side-chains are all beeing build around Segwit, when this scaling debat is over we will not have a community split anymore. I hope everyone will be happy when it's solved.

i'm surpised how steady and stable the rise has been the last few days. it's so unusual for BTC...

This will most likely end with a few spikes up followed with a decent $100-$200+ dump.

Roger Ver announces his latest cloud mining service scam lol Huh

2633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ViaBTC finally read all the BIPs about Segwit on: April 25, 2017, 02:30:13 AM
Personally I liked that they were bragging that they weren't being paid, just a couple weeks after https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/viabtc-open-bitcoin-exchange-raising-200000-funding-led-bitmain/  (and with jihan already 50% owner prior to the investment).

So, Jihan wants his own exchange to trade his BU-coin while the rest of the entire world sees it as an ALT-Coin. This guy is trying to swim against the flow, that will result in a major disaster for him.
2634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4th Major Crash Bug Exploit on BU on: April 25, 2017, 01:58:54 AM

not so long ago.. I saw a tweet from Roger Ver..  something about Core dev being coder and not economist/merchants..

wich one would you trust between very good coders or very good economists/merchants ?

I'm all in with Core coders (very very good)..

Just take a serious look at where "economic leader" bringed us to in history, specially recent history (10 years)..  HODL to your BTC and buy some more Wink

I go for good coders, without them you cant run a succesfull business.

Oh, and Roger is talking Bullshit with his BU buds...

2635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unlimited and Segwit are both terrible ideas on: April 24, 2017, 03:10:07 PM
The price of LTC pumped because it was already rock bottom and it was too easy to pump from the ground, but LTC will not need scaling for years, so watch the price of LTC not go significantly higher as it has no real use. Speculators can only pump so much. LTC has no safe haven status, it has nothing to lose.

BTC will dump if either Unlimited or Segwit is activated, because uncertainty they will bring. BTC has everything to lose, its safe haven status is its only advantage.

Pure FUD. What uncertainty? The price will go up much higher because the network can handle more users with Segwit.. unlike buggy BU which is bugged will make Bitcoin go poef!

Why are you protecting BU, whats youre stake?

Do you have poor comprehension skills? I am against both as any sensible Bitcoin investor should be. I am for leaving Bitcoin alone and letting it keep its safe haven status.
The price will not go much higher with Unlimited or Segwit, it will go lower or stagnate at best, because the safe haven status will be lost if either of them is activated.

Again FUD, even if there are hundreds of millions of users Bitcoin will still be a save haven. You clearly dont know the potential in this case what does a block-size increase effects the network?
2636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4th Major Crash Bug Exploit on BU on: April 24, 2017, 02:43:35 PM
While franky1 continues to shill for the disaster that is BU, we are back to this again:

This pic is telling uss exactly what BU supporters think about this situation. Like always, they love to blame and trash everything and everyone exept there 'mighty' bug unlimited Shocked

Edit: they even blame the media and social media for this attack..LOL

I saw that tweet few days ago, i had a good laugh when reading it. I'm now laughing even harder... Kiss

Roger and Jihan are both getting bashed on twitter every time they pop up, so sad.
2639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4th Major Crash Bug Exploit on BU on: April 24, 2017, 12:58:56 PM
Well, i'm not even suprised seeing this bug ore whatever happend to BU. This whole BU project is one major joke, BU software is bugged, nodes are bugged... screw this shit man freaking amateurs.

Why cant Jihan and Roger just admid BU is dead? The only thing they got left is hashing power, both will continue talking FUD on Twitter and pushing for a HF  Undecided
