2621  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Chilling Realization on: December 16, 2022, 10:25:22 PM
The cryptocurrency market is open for everybody to earn money. The crypto trading telegram channels make lots of money by predicting the crypto market for premium members. The truth that nobody can predict the cryptocurrency market price correctly is not yet disclosed to clienteles who are victims. I've followed some channels in the past that claim to provide accurate market price predictions, but if the analysis goes wrong they'll restructure a new lie. Customers, here, only care about big profits, eventually it'll close their eyes and leave them blind towards deceits. However, variety of people with different perspectives of cryptocurrency, flood the cryptocurrency community everyday in hundreds and thousands. Newbies that joined the cryptocurrency sphere believing its a get rich quick scheme constantly remain blind to a bunch of con artists in the market including the premium channels for price prediction, thereby spending money meant for investments on worthless services.
2622  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: what is the best crypto wallet for mobile? on: December 15, 2022, 08:25:07 PM
Android wallets serve thesame purpose, holding coins, but have different features.

If you often have to deal with transactions from or to a different chain or network go for metamask, but don't store huge funds on the wallets like other hot wallets its a web based wallet and can be accessed by hackers.

Then, if you want a compatible wallet for stable coins, sending coins to the ethereum network you can go for myetherwallet.

For multiple coins in one wallet I'd advise you to stick with trust wallet.

So, just look for the wallet that serves or offers those features you are looking forward to utilizing while transacting your assets.
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is your local game includes in online casino ? on: December 15, 2022, 07:40:58 PM
This is really just like that Bantumi game which you could play on my old Nokia 3310
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PPg-IUS_VU

I dont know if this one would be having the same game concept but it do really looks like but this one do involves on having that
wood platform with having holes on where those stones been placed.
Pretty sure that it is really a bit common on southeast asian countries or something near that.

Exactly, that is the bantumi game on Nokia 3310, I enjoyed playing this game. I think it'll be easier for live dealers to implement the game on online casino. Though it takes time for a round to be over and its similar to adding chess game on Casino games. Online Gambling is mostly inspired by its fast paced results which effects luck than mastery to stakes. Rarely, these types of traditional games requires luck, with consistency a player can master the game thereby winning often than others. Therefore, reducing the number of players to masters of the game.

2624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of People Will Lose Crypto in Self Custody on: December 15, 2022, 07:26:34 PM
Quote
“And also today, very fundamentally, if a person passes away, they don’t have a way to give to their next of kin. Whereas we have a standard operating procedure [for that].”

Quite an outstanding feature, inheriting coins is almost impossible with self custody. Hence offering such a service will open a reason for and reinforce an unending debate in the crypto community; those that promote self custody and those that don't. The opposing sides can backup claims with the binance inheritance features.

On the contrary, however, I'm glad the self custody campaign spreading on social media, forums and some blogs is highly effective. CZ himself is not only worried, but surprised that the people control this cryptocurrency world not just some specific individuals running against the will of the bitcoin creator. Satoshi wishes for self custody, and he must have thought about inheriting coins as well, but if a person passes out the whole community will inherit their coins not just his family.

What will happen to the cryptocurrency community if someone inherits Satoshi's share of bitcoin?
2625  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can We Consider This Casino An Industry Giant In Marketing Here In Bitcointalk on: December 14, 2022, 07:01:18 AM
Regardless of the forum members patronizing the Casinos the guests who read this forum click the banners placed on signature. So, with the big budgets it's a good sign that the forum is profitable and yields more traffic to their website. With such budget on a special interest board of gamblers is more effective than promoting on social media where many people may not be interested in such ads, thereby wasting lots of money. If I'm an ad manager I'd prefer a targeted community than a whole social media which is not targeted.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 14, 2022, 05:46:51 AM
A good one? Millions of dollars at least. The world is filled with people who think they can start a casino for 10 thousand dollars, and it is true that it can be made for that much money but then you would neither have any money left for in case someone wins big, and you wouldn't have any left for marketing as well.

To be at the levels of stake, sportsbet.io, roobet, rollbit, and many alike at the top of the crypto gambling world, then you really need at least a million dollars, so that you could start at that level, offer big rewards, and do great marketing as well. Just last year, Stake gave Everton 10 million a year for jersey sponsorship, imagine that.

they will soon come to the point that they will understand that it is not only about the money or bankroll they have, but the overall knowledge about this industry. one can start small, but how dedicated and how knowledgeable are the people involve to sustain the gambling business? this is why a lot of small casinos are getting abandoned because they can't maintain its operations and their clients are not increasing. so it is not about the initial funds that one should worry about. should ask himself if he is indeed ready for this kind of business.

You're right, a person must have worked closely with one or two Casino managements and understand the core details of running the business before venturing into opening a Casino. A person can lose out all the $1 million if they don't have the initial idea required to run effectively a gambling business.
2627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 14, 2022, 05:32:08 AM
It's better to trust a casino with both negative and positive reviews than a casino with only positive reviews. Think about it they're multiple reasons why people must complain ranging from losses, withdrawal etc, also no business is perfect. However, don't forget that the casino business is a competitive one and we must expect shaddy things like bad reviews sent from one Casino to their competitors. Also don't neglect the angle that these complaints gets settled later on and the complainant won't take down their accusations on the Casino. Which then compiles the complaints making it look like the casino got bad customer service.
2628  Other / Meta / Re: Why do users just state their opinion on a topic rather than discuss it on: December 14, 2022, 04:59:13 AM

~Why does it seem difficult to continue a discussion on a topic.
~Why do people just state their opinions rather than continue a discussion?

Its not difficult to respond, but when a person doesn't have  anything necessary to say it's better not to respond. Same way with continuity on the forum, if a person researched thoroughly before making a thread they'll definitely stick around to discuss with people on that topic. That's how I know if a person did research their post before sharing. That doesn't mean the OP don't come to check the responses on his post, Its clear that they don't have other things to add, which is not wrong.
2629  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For them it's always about the money on: December 14, 2022, 04:34:30 AM
Projects use YouTubers as tools to pump and dump their cion. I have been active on some youtube channels and realized that subscribers are so glued to the YouTubers that they buy any coin the YouTubers promotes and when the prices go up they'll hail the YouTuber and sometimes they're under the comment box crying over lossing money. Considering that they're marketers and the influence they've got on these people, affiliation is the only means of hitting big profits. I think it's their business and those who abide to the advise given on YouTube channels will have to pay for not doing their own research.
2630  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Risk of jail for developers. Should you be anonymous? on: December 13, 2022, 07:47:25 AM
Doxxing developers and arresting them over building or helping the  existence of a digital currency wouldn't get too effective till everyone goes anonymous. The profile pictures you see on GitHub may not be their actual faces and could be the only picture they've uploaded online and it'll be difficult to doxx them. Though the Government have got advanced technology to track down who they wish. But, I don't see any crime in working on an open source program, and the digital currencies are not nefarious to anybody. Except that the government want to engage in an imposible mission of getting rid of digital currency developers.
2631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar World Cup Betting Tips on: December 13, 2022, 03:47:55 AM
Morocco to win France will come with a big odd, but I'd stake Morocco to draw and to win on penalty shoot out, which comes with a better odds too. However, it'll be difficult to determine the exact kicks from the Moroccan sides. Hence its the best prediction for this unexpected football match.
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 13, 2022, 03:39:29 AM
I predict Morocco vs Argentina and it'll be more interesting a game than Argentina vs France these are both big teams and they may not play to people's expectations. Messi against Romain Saiss will be so hot a game that Messi wouldn't want to loss out while Saiss will press harder to surprise the world. The game will effect lots of entertainment and trend and at same time we should expect injuries from both sides. I'm not sure who's going to win the game.
2633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be responsible for your coin on: December 13, 2022, 03:16:25 AM
In a sense, some people tend to spend their coins easily if its on self custody, so they prefer handing them over to exchanges where they'll undergo some processes before withdrawing the money. Such processes like minimum withdrawal, swapping coins etc when remembered can dull the impression of withdrawing money often. On the other hand, in essence, I think the Paxful CEO didn't convey any information. He's still revolving around keeping what you can spare on the exchange. Telling people to store money for trading, is same thing as saving money on exchange as many will feel reluctant and claim that the whooping amount they've left on the exchange is meant for trading.
2634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SBF, arrested! on: December 13, 2022, 02:55:45 AM
Quote
Bankman-Fried could face life in prison without the possibility of supervised release. Such a severe punishment would be unusual but not extraordinary. Ponzi scheme mastermind Bernie Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison, an effective life sentence, for his massive ponzi scheme.

SBF serving life is indeed extreme, his carelessness must have brought people to do weird things like committing suicide. Earlier, I thought the Bahamas Government wouldn't arrest him, but SBF moving around attending interviews with mainstream media was so awkward regarding the allegations on him. However, the Bahamas government delayed his arrest until US filed a crime against SBF. He should have been arrested immediately FTX collapsed, and extraditing him to US will harden the young billionaires case and time in prison. Do you think the Bahamas Government had their reasons for delaying his arrest? Because from the link OP provided SBF's lawyer accused the Bahamas authorities of working closely with SBF in shoving peoples money out of FTX to a private wallet owned by the Bahamas authorities.
2635  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If there were someone's Assets in FTX before FTX collapse? on: December 13, 2022, 02:32:44 AM
After FTX had about 9 hours of downtime, millions of dollars were owed  to customers and partners alike that couldn't be withdrawn. Its just the bad side of taking centralized exchanges serious. Even when Cz called off his proposal of buying FTX on November 9th some people didn't withdraw their money. I think such people don't pay attention to details regarding where their money is saved.
2636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Making post for merit on: December 12, 2022, 01:52:41 PM
Why not worry about learning and sharing knowledge other than thinking of merits. The forum has been designed as a place for learning about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Focusing on merit alone will help a person build a well structured post, but such a person in few days will forget easily the content of the post they've made. The merits are enough for everyone who spreads quality knowledge in the community. However, newbies tend to get more merits if they consistently make even contributions to the forum.
2637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do slot game developers get the soundtracks they use? on: December 12, 2022, 01:34:13 PM
Did you try to Shazam the track? That could lead you to the original track where the gambling track was crafted out from. Sounds these days originates from an already existing track which apps like Shazam can show you. Although, It won't be the same with the main sound as they're expected to buy the copyright instead the game developers will decide to create their own sound different from the original. However, they achieve this goal through music producers or free beats on YouTube.
2638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: December 12, 2022, 01:19:13 PM
You may be talking about following martingale method. Where a gambler loses once and next time he will be able to recover the profit along with his loss. Here the probability of winning will increase as well as the amount of loss will be higher. However, if a gambler calculates his total assets from the beginning and apply this strategy he can make good profit by his gambling carer. But conducting gambling i think a specific strategy should not be used continuously.

I would stay well away from strategies like martingale, because this strategy does not work, if a person starts playing in casinos and when he loses money he starts chasing losses then that person will go bankrupt, for example that person has 10$, bets 1$ and loses, then bets 2$ and loses, then bets, 4$ loses, he will already be bankrupt, using martingale, I honestly do not see how anyone can still trust and use this strategy called martigale, I stopped using it years because I haven't seen any good results, I remember that at that time I was faucet and searching videos on youtube how to earn more jo freebitcoin, so many people talked about martingale in the HI-LO game and I lost everything, and I was frustrated because I spent a lot of time making a faucet and in the end I lost in the HI-LO game

Such a strategy shouldn't be capitalized upon, sometimes it works during a roulette game and if you win you'll regret why you didn't stake a higher amount. So in gambling follow your instincts sometimes not always though. Your mistake was that you kept on going even when it was not profitable. At this moment I'll definitely switch strategy and try something else. However, it seems painful regarding how much time you spent gaining those faucets but it doesn't hurt compared to losing a last card.
2639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What awareness would this bring to bitcoin on: December 12, 2022, 01:08:18 PM
If cryptocurrency will be used that will be USDT not bitcoin. Most of these players and managers don't talk bitcoin, football is their language. So, they've got lots of reasons not to accept a currency that won't be stable. Assuming they want to save the money for some times, and bitcoin drops in price the money won't be enough to settle bills in future. But, if that happens like you speculated it'll bring forth a strong awareness that will unlike other awareness drop the price of bitcoin. As the bitcoins will be changed into cash immediately.
2640  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Three US lawmakers' reactions amidst FTX collapse on: December 10, 2022, 09:43:06 PM
It's funny how they are trying to make it seem like their primary interest is the safety of US investors when in fact the goal is to tighten the grip and to have greater control of the crypto economy. More regulation means more taxing and new ways to identify crypto users. They don't see the fall of FTX as a sad event that caused harm and financial loss to US citizens, they are angry that because of the bankruptcy there will be a shortage of tax money coming from crypto.
The fall of FTX might be a political strategy to give the cryptocurrency industry a bad name so that the government can get the needed support to enact Draconian regulatory laws. Politicians cannot be trusted because they can go to any length to achieve their selfish goals even if it means making people lose their hard-earned money.

FTX dispute is just among the events that have brought bad impressions to cryptocurrency. So the Government can't capitalize on one events when they're multiple scams happening on the wild west cryptocurrency market. In addition, the Government also received donations from the exchange, so I'd say that if they effected the downfall of FTX its not for regulation, maybe it's for the aim of more money, bulk. They'll have their share of the lost money.
