2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 03, 2022, 08:41:34 PM
Losing an interest to fight a champion for a unification fight, that's odd. If he has a mentality like Canelo, he would fight anyone who is holding a belt to be an undisputed champion, but no, he is different because he is not a real champion who only cherry-pick his opponent, with this statement, I think I lose my trust with Inoue too.

I'm not sure about the exact timeline and sequence but I think that statement was made because of the possible title strip of Casimero when he failed to show up on the weigh-in. But since everything is now properly fixed and WBO won't take the title of Casimero, the interest might be back on the Inoue's side. And that interest will be more intensify if Casimero will be done deal this fight against Butler.

Maybe by next month we're going to see the update for this match after the medical that Casimero has made. Any updates on both fighters?

As far as my own DYOR is concerned, I didn't see yet any updates regarding the fight, even on some Facebook sports page that is quick in giving updates. We are still in the early week of 2022 so it's understandable that we might not get an update yet.

Lakers winning all these games didn't really matter that much. They are still 7th seed and tied with 8th seed as well, and only 2 games away from the 9th seed, by comparison they are 1 game away from 5th seed too so we have no idea what will happen.

The fact that they are on the 7th seed then every win matters. Also as you mentioned, 1 game away from the 5th seed means they are not that behind. Still not alarming in general but the expectation is just really high for them because it's LeBron James alongside one of the criticized players in the league, Russell Westbrook plus a bunch of veteran players that already passed their prime.

If they can maintain that winning from now on, or should I say, more winnings before losing, the Lakers are still considered as a threat once playoffs come.
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 03, 2022, 08:25:46 PM

Just to clarify everyone, it's not an automatic fight to Terence Crawford on whoever won between Ugas and Spence. As far as WBO is concerned, there's a commitment first that the winner of that fight should be dealt on and that was against the winner between Radzhab Butaev and Eimantas Stanionis.

Although let's see if Ugas' requests of a fight directly to Crawford will be allowed if ever he won the match against Spence. That was in November as ETA. But before Ugas thinks about that, he needs to pass Spence first.

Well then, the PBA has now officially postponed all games this week and now waiting for updates that will come from Games and Amusements Boards and the LGU (Quezon City for Araneta Coliseum, Pasay City for Mall of Asia Arena, Pasig City for Ynares Sports Arena). As for the best option, they can do it again on Ynares Sports Arena with a semi-bubble setup. Shouldn't be a hard task to shift back into that setup now that PBA is somehow already used on it.

Let's wait for news later this week.

Raptors are completely destroying Knicks now. There is a point gap of more than 20 points now. Raptors really needed a this kind of win actually. Knicks are so bad at defending now. And so far, VanVleet has been the star of the night. He scored 35 points so far. And he has a 11/17 field goal made. This is his best performance so far in this season I guess. I saw him scoring 31 points the most so far.

VanFleet is regaining his All-Star moves and just recently, together with Paskal Siakam, they are putting good numbers fueling the Raptors to win. However, the majority is expecting that they will really win because New York Knicks is totally on handicap status because of injury and health-related protocols currently and that's a big disadvantage to them.

Let's see if the Raptors can replicate the same performance in their next set of games.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 02, 2022, 11:27:27 PM
yes there's Donaire but he is not anymore in his prime and he already loss to Inoue before, so what to expect in the rematch?

The reason why others want a rematch between Donaire and Inoue is that in their 1st fight, the latter really struggle to win. It's the first time in Inoue's career that he received lots of fatal blows, injuries, and being sent to hospital after the fight for checkings. To conclude everything, a rematch between them is a must.

Back to the topic, let's admit that we are all biased here thinking Quadro Alas will easily win this fight but not for me. Butler is a real deal and chances of upset are still possible. I just hope Casimero will not just think of fighting Inoue as his target and focus on the current one. He really needs to pull a win for Inoue's camp to become interested again in dealing with him.
2627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 02, 2022, 11:19:36 PM
It's hard to imagine that Ugas will win here, if Spence is fully healthy, I think we are going to see a KO win from him as Ugas would only be a standing target since he cannot take advantage using his lenght like what he did on Pacquioa.

Somehow agree but on the other hand, Ugas is the most hungry to win here based on my own view. He's the one who aggressively requested on that fight. Just thinking about what things he will achieve if able to win, it's already an inspiration. That being said, it might fuel more his desire to win.

Spence is no doubt will be the favorite to win the match but we can't rule out that an upset is always possible to happen.

There's still no early forecast from some boxing analysts of what will be the odds on this match.
2628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 02, 2022, 11:03:02 PM

Just to clarify, the spike of Covid-19 cases recently is not all about the Omicron virus. There is no indication nor proof that it's because of the new variant so please guys, be careful with the information you are sharing here or outside.

Still, almost 80% are mild and asymptomatic so need to panic or to create assumptions that we are doomed again. Smiley

Its already a clear restrictions from the government about doing face to face sports here in NCR so there’s no way to proceed the game here as long as we stay on alert level 3. If they still have the budget and want to finish the conference as scheduled, maybe playing on a bubble again is the only choice for them let’s just wait for their final announcement regarding this one.

You have to remember that Alert Level 3 is equivalent to General Community Quarantine. The PBA finished the All-Filipino last season under the same restrictions. Professional sports are allowed but as usual, no audience at the live venue.

PBA can proceed. They just need to clarify something and it's expected that we will have an update today. Let's wait then.
2629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport's betting experience on: January 01, 2022, 11:09:28 PM

Well, generally, if you found that strategy effective to you then you are good to go.

Obviously, there are no safe bets so don't expect a lessen risks when placing a bet even involving a sure Favorites or not. There will really be a time that you need that strategy of yours and see if that's effective in the long run.

Good luck and hope your insight will be effective for long.
2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 01, 2022, 11:01:24 PM
Lakers vs Nets finals are not gonna happen anymore, the Lakers are a complete mess now, that wouldn't change in the long run. It's only between the Warriors and the Suns that will advance in the NBA Finals but I see the Warriors advancing because Draymond wants to prove that they can be in the Finals again even without KD.

Technically, the odds for Lakers vs Nets in the Finals facing each others are somehow questionable referring to the current situation now. Not just in Western Conference, but I'm not even considering Nets as the sure win for the Eastern Conference.

Although inconsistent, Lakers seems showing dominance therefore, we can assume that they are not tally doomed. Western Conference is full of tough teams. Even Lakers are showing good and let's say they are consistent, we can't still be sure what teams will face in the NBA Finals.
2631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 01, 2022, 10:04:34 PM

As we all know, PBA is again at jeopardy as the IATF shift Manila from the supposed Alert level 2 into Level 3. For reference, in Alert level 3, basketball and any indoor activities are not allowed.

As per PBA Commissioner Marcial, he will talk to IATF on January 3 to see what actions will be done.

I'm just curious about what will happen on the original schedule. This daily pandemic report sucks. They should just allow everything as we are already here. In return, the strict protocol should be applied.

The country can't afford to be in lockdown again.
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about lottery? on: January 01, 2022, 09:52:06 PM
What's your opinion on lottery, whether it is an addicted gambling practice or it is quite Ok to buy lottery regularly. There are people who allocate separate fund from their earnings for lottery. Only the luckiest will make the win, and today got to read about a lucky winner on the UAE lottery. It is the first time in his lifetime buying a lottery, and he had won about $3 million. He's working as a labour and he has said to the media he'll buy agricultural land in his village (India) and support develop the school in his region.

It's no secret that the lottery is a game of luck. No strategy is needed, no analysis, but a gut is needed. Honestly, I'm an enthusiast of playing the lottery here in our place. It's not that I'm expecting to win but who knows. We don't know when lucl will hit us so I placed a bet everyday. I always place a bet on lottery on the aveage of $1 day.The lottery here is cheap and averaging only $0.39 per bet.

I'm hitting 3 digits as always that's why I don't like to stop betting on lottery. Who knows in the future.
2633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling mistakes and amendment on: January 01, 2022, 09:42:08 PM

Generally, we have all mistakes and that's usual in gambling. There's no perfect gambling even how professional you are.

As in my case, even I do gambling for almost 2 decades, I still lose. However, what matters is, winning percentage is more dominant compared to losing stats. Try to find what gambling type you are comfortable and convenient playing with so that you do not end up in a random bet.

Actually, our gambling experience will tell us what to do next. You just have to continue no matter what.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling company's responsibility on: December 30, 2021, 08:38:49 PM
I just wished this licensing companies don’t just relent after issuing out licenses but take better steps in ensuring the satisfaction of gamblers who visit most online and offline casinos we have had lots of complaints and most time I wonder if this licensing organizations are just there for what the stand to benefit or have the interest of gamblers at heart

I think that's out of their control already. I mean, the company complies with all requirements legally, therefore, it's one step that the site is somehow trusted. It's now up to the people if they will choose to gamble on that site and understand the risks.

That's why it is always a good habit to check the site's reputation regardless of whether they are licensed or not. We should know already that crypto-gambling sites are not totally regulated so the safety measures should start from ourselves.

BTW, is pringle injured? ----did not watch their last game, so I have no idea until I read the article----

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/why-can-t-ginebra-be-transparent-with-stanley-pringle-injury-a2244-20211230?ref=home_featured_big

Yes, he is injured. If you remember, those 5 Ginebra injured players are sharing pictures of them watching Ginebra games.

But I like the article you have shared and the author of it makes sense. Pringle is now out for a while but still, no clear medical status was given to the public until just recently, as mentioned in the article, the supposed ACL wasn't the real case. Why does it take too long?

The author also pointed out that the public has the right to know if Pringle is healthy or not.
2636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best crypto sportsbook for 2021 on: December 30, 2021, 10:32:24 AM

Being so-called "the best" will be a tough choice. Self-preference, we have different views on which is the best. It's now been about 3-4 months already, if remember it right, that I'm only using the Stake platform on both casino and sports betting experience in most cases although I used other sites too. I didn't touch for months those sites that I used before like my usual NitrogenSports and Sportsbet.

Moving forward, my vote goes for the Stake platform, and honestly, no need to give specific reasons why I prefer using that site mostly nowadays.

Looks like a different Kyrie Irving shows to the media recently after getting back to practice. The way he spoke, he is not that arrogant nor annoying and he is really grateful for his comeback. There's still no mention of when is the ETA of Irving's return officially on the court but not ruling out that it might be on January 5 against the Indiana Pacers.

What is your personal bet on the next big events in the betting industry?

The fact that even we are now in post-pandemic effect or should I say, that the status is not the same as last year, online gambling still kicking. It means that even physical casinos are now open, people continue their gambling activity online.

To my personal point of view, online gambling will grow more as we can't expect yet a full virus-free world in the next 1-2 years.

Looking forward also on big E-Sports events related to blockchain games.

Some company give gambling licenses. Curacao company, UK gaming company (UKGC), Danish Gambling Authority etc. Curacao Company licensed some prominent betting sites. Do they monitor after giving license? Now a days a lot of betting sites have  gotten license from Curacao but their support is not up to the mark. Even some betting sites scam with customers. Even this forum we have seen some gambling sites negative review.

We can't take away the fact that even for a licensed gambling site, you can't expect a smooth and better experience while using them. There will be a time that a user will experience the worst experience and as time goes by, the issue will not be solved.

Make sure we are putting our risk on a site that does have a good reputation overall. With or without a license, we can bet that we are somehow treated fairly on that reputable site.

Do they monitor after giving license?

AFAIK, there's no regulatory body that monitors "CRYPTO" gambling sites in general. By issuing a license, it's somehow made that business officially legal but the future actions of that site are not monitored.
2640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: December 30, 2021, 09:57:52 AM

Some boxing enthusiasts said that Ugas instead should pick Keith Thurman first before jumping to Spence Jr. The reason is, Ugas has a chance to make another big paycheck before fighting Spence as the majority thinks that he can deal with Thurman as he was able to defeat Manny Pacquiao.

Of course, that's just speculation, and what if Thurman won? No big fight opportunity will happen to Ugas now. It's a good decision for me that he go directly with the big one as Ugas is also hitting his veteran period now.
