2621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You only lose if... on: January 19, 2017, 04:06:53 PM
in my opinion you will only lose if you panic.

in trading panic is the worst thing a trader can have. and panic or fear means when the trader makes bad decisions, when they buy (invest) in a bad time and based on hype and also when they sell (dump) in a bad time because of FUD.

i started a topic a while ago but it didn't get much attention warning people not to invest in bitcoin if they can not handle things the right way. if they are going to panic it is best to stay away.
2622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If LTC is faster than BTC, Why Don't We Use It? on: January 19, 2017, 04:01:32 PM
Well ask yourself the simple question: Why is Litecoin faster than Bitcoin?

The answer is very simple and doesn't have anything to do with its features. It's just that no one uses Litecoin compared to Bitcoin. Less traffic = faster.

People use bitcoin because bitcoin has best developers and the best network effect. Again, simple.

please for the love of god, as a Hero Member do not give terrible answers dude.

cryptocurrenceis are not websites with a server so that "less traffic means higher speed" Cheesy

the reason why litecoin or any other altcoin is faster than bitcoin is only because of the time between their blocks. for bitcoin this time is (because of the way difficulty works) 10 minutes on medium (medium because it can go up and down) but for coins like litecoin it is lower (i think it is 2.5 min for LTC)
2623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whether bitcoin is able to change the level of a person's life for the better? on: January 19, 2017, 03:57:57 PM
if someone can not find a job in real world and with fiat payment, they will have more problem finding job with bitcoin, in my opinion.

but if someone can find it in real world with fiat, then bitcoin can be another job like a second job that you do online such as freelancing to earn some money on the side, of like me if you do some trading you can earn some extra money.

so yeah in that case it can help a bit.
2624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining still a good invesstments in 2k17 ? on: January 17, 2017, 02:50:24 PM
.....like if you invest 300 dollars you get 300 dollars each 2.5 month)
so is it still a good investment today ?
what atr the best sites if so ?

you can always make your own calculations to see how long it will take for you to earn your money back (ROI) and then make profit but it is not 2.5 months. also when you are doing calculations you have to consider difficulty which is increasing and when it goes up your profit goes down.

and all this is only if the site is legit and not ponzi. there were some back in 2014-2015 but when price went down in those years and difficulty went up as always, they stopped working. and even back then it wasn't really a good investment.
2625  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trump inauguration and Bitcoin price on: January 17, 2017, 02:42:24 PM
if we are talking about real investors then they know very well what they are doing with their money and have enough experience to know how to look at charts (not looking at last 2 weeks but look at last 8 years) and also analyze the future of bitcoin based on what bitcoin is and what kind of potential it has.

volatility like this, which are temporary only scares away newbies.

also volatility is what day-traders want, not saying all investors are that but it will attract more of day traders.
2626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC speculation on: January 17, 2017, 02:32:31 PM
for litecoin you only need to know one word: China!
that is all it takes, they will pump it soon.

now add to that the fact that Litecoin just released SegWit, if miners adopt it, that would be even before bitcoin and LTC will attract lots of attention and lots of traders, and be sure about moon (as in 10x rise)
2627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Do you feel part of a crypto community ? on: January 17, 2017, 02:28:42 PM
in my opinion being a part of the community of a crypto currency and being involved with it is not just about visiting its website or knowing the developers, it is not even about knowing the code,...

you can still be a part of the community if you are a part of the network and hold some of that coin. for example running a full node is all it takes to contribute more than enough.

so yeah i consider myself one.
2628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly can you buy with Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2017, 02:22:19 PM
Right it is one one the greatest, fastest, secured and highly valued cryptocurrencies ever, but aside from making a profit by depositing it, can it be used to buy stuff you need? What kind of places accept BTC as payment? Does it mean if you've got bitcoins in your wallet you can survive without fiat in your pocket?

based on where you live it you can survive with only bitcoin in your pocket, in other words you can buy everything in some countries and in some others nothing with bitcoin.
for instance in many developed countries you may even be able to convince any shop owner to accept bitcoin. but in under developed countries if you talk to them about bitcoin they will laugh at you!
2629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's it mean : "Chinese Bitcoin Exchanges Stop Futures and Margin Trading on: January 17, 2017, 02:14:12 PM
what's it mean : "Chinese Bitcoin Exchanges Stop Futures and Margin Trading

what happen for bitcoin price after this news??? Huh Huh Angry Angry
Chinese Bitcoin Exchanges Stop Futures and Margin Trading for Citizens

in my opinion this news, and mainly the news about Chinese government taking a closer look on the Chinese bitcoin exchange services means they will stop reporting fake volumes, they may even have harder time to do fake pumps or fake dumps to create panic.

and if these things happen (the volume has already dropped) it means we can see a more realistic price and it means rising consistently without flash rise and flash crash.
2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: January 16, 2017, 02:25:30 PM
My strategy was like bet 0.0001 on 50% chance and let it lose for 5 times or at least 1 mbtc then I raise my bet to 0.001 bet on 80% chance and bet 5 times and when I lose I immediately change my bet to max say 0.2-0.3 so I win, Never lost with this strategy I hope you all win too

very interesting strategy, but i find a huge flaw in its logic which makes it very risky. in your last bet when you said you change the bet size to max 0.2-0.3 you are not out of the danger zone, you are still making a new bet so it may go either way. so in case you get 50% unlucky and lose you are losing a huge amount compared to your regular size bets.

then in case of lose what your come back strategy?
2631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGE] Will history repeat again? MOON on: January 16, 2017, 02:15:24 PM
Hey, doge is pretty damn stable compared to a lot of other coins,  and that's good for any currency.   Right?  It's definitely still alive and well, even if it isn't the most glamorous thing.  People use it, unlike all the other turds.

I am a professed doge lover... the fun spirit of the coin still thrives and is very much alive. You can see this especially in casinos that use Doge. It is the choice coin for tips and giveaways... I have tens of thousands just from random tippers, even after giving tens of thousands away myself.

It's still unique and it still recently gives to charitable causes. Moon it may never be, but it is here to stay for a long, long time.

well that is the thing, we are in a speculation board for altcoins which is talking about the price. Dogecoin is only a joke coin and for some reason it has thrived this long. and all the thing you said such as giveaways and tips on places like reddit have no effect on price. and the fact that it is used as a gambling coin these days is because people have lots of it for very cheap and want to get rid of it somehow or make possible profit.
again no effect on price!
2632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To make own crypto currency on: January 16, 2017, 02:09:02 PM
Since some times ago, I'm very interest with some project make a new altcoin with owner application. I read on Github, but still don't understand about it, so who anyone can explain to me as simple as possible, so it'll easy to understanding. Because, I want to make another altcoin but this basic in use for daily activities, not just for make altcoin with many bullshit promise.

i don't want to disappoint you but since you have trouble understanding something as simple as this, maybe it is best that you stop for a moment and think about the decision you are making. why do you want to make a new coin anyways? and the most important thing is what is new about it?
if you can't come up with answers to these your project will end up in the graveyard of currently over hundreds of other coins.

as MicroGuy suggested try contributing to coins already available instead, that is more constructive and you will learn a lot more.
2633  Economy / Exchanges / Re: No fee USA exchanges? on: January 16, 2017, 02:01:38 PM
none of the big exchanges that area also more trusted than unknown places, have a zero fee policy. you can find some of them that offer lower fees or fees that go lower if you trade large amounts but never zero fees.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: January 15, 2017, 03:23:33 PM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

it is not a wise thing to use other people's money or loan money to do a risky business and when that business is gambling then it is definitely not  a good idea. so i have never done it.

i even have come close to taking a loan for some investment that i was sure is going to pay off and in the end i didn't do it because losing loan and other people's money means you lose twice because you have to pay them back eventually!
2635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think we will break the $2000 mark some day? on: January 15, 2017, 03:15:43 PM
I am just wondering if the $2000 mark is realistic for the next years... what is you opinion?

yes it is realistic, because of the number of coins that are available to us and the fact that bitcoin users are growing so as you said in the next years it is a realistic assumption to say bitcoin price can surpass $2000 and i do believe that it will happen in nearly one year from now.
2636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Megaupload + Bitcoins on: January 15, 2017, 03:11:29 PM
I don't see how bitcoin can accomplish any achievement with this dealing with a download service that was outlawed last time. And what now would make it different in this second round?

the least thing it can do is to introduce bitcoin to many new people who has never heard about bitcoin and see it being used and maybe use it themselves also.
and a good thing about it is that this project shows bitcoin more as a currency to do fast and safe transactions with low fees hopefully.
2637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: January 15, 2017, 03:01:07 PM
Bought lisk at 43000 sat and still holding ,price seem won't rise again, 0 news, no dapps, nothing.

wow, that is a bad decision you made. i never hodl anything other than bitcoin in situations like this and that is only because i believe in bitcoin's future but about altcoins like Lisk i am not sure, these things usually disappoint and it is best that when you buy you also open up some stop loss orders so that you sell when you hit your loss target.
2638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the Most Promising AltCoin this 2017? on: January 15, 2017, 02:55:00 PM
in all the cryptocurrencies out there only bitcoin is and will always be promising. and all the rest are at least 10 times riskier to invest. but if i had to choose any of the altcoins i would only go with coins that have been around and have been adopted so far such as Litecoin and Monero and Dash. and leave the rest for mostly short term pre pump buy and dumping during the pump.
2639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the Bank would no longer fit for the future? on: January 15, 2017, 02:50:37 PM
everything evolves, and banks and their system that they use today will also evolve in the future. the same way that banking system is not the same as 20 years ago, it simply won't be the same in 20 years in the future either. we may even see them integrate with bitcoin.
2640  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice most scam sites forever, Robbing by primedice on: January 14, 2017, 01:20:37 PM
To day I lost all bitcoin in primedice. I don't know how it possible losing 17 time. It's just crime. I seen that today many people lost his all money. I have long experience in many gambling sites, but never seen this type stupid sites forever.   I chcek my all bet, it was been fair. I think primedice doing something wrong. if possible then don't play primedice. Try to play any other sites.

you are extremely lucky to see 17 losing streaks Cheesy
what i usually have after a couple of bets is a losing streak of as big as 25-30 reds in a row. and if you make enough number of bets in dice you can also see that. it is normal because bets aren't connected and they act independently so each roll you have the same 49% to win and 51% to lose.

and in the end if you can't handle loss then do not gamble.
