2621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: August 18, 2021, 11:20:32 PM
In fact, the government of any country will not allow Bitcoin to be the central currency.Because this bitcoin is a completely temporary currency system. The price of this bitcoin is changing all the time. So never let this bitcoin become the central currency of the world.
Dont know about temporary currency system but would rather be an alternative decentralized payment system which is totally opposing centralization and with that alone, you could already tell that government wouldnt

really let this thing to happen that something decentralized would become mainstream or main currency and thinking off realistically on where bitcoin doesnt really fit out on some aspect which fiat could simply do.

Just let it be and it would be better on not minding about this stuff and mind off that we do have at least some options.
2622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: August 18, 2021, 10:59:40 PM
I understand that which is why I said that it will be helpful but I understand that the casinos at some point need to let their customers read their terms of service on their own, in what I do not agree with is the fact that those casinos change their terms of service without notifying their customers about it, this is incorrect because supposedly when you begin to play at a casino you need to agree with the terms of service, changing those terms without letting you know basically means you did not agreed to it and as such you should not be subject to them, so at least a notification should be received and if not you have grounds to challenge their decision in the case it is one of the changes made without you knowing about it.

We should not blame the casinos for that. 90% of gamblers don't read fully the terms. How can they even know that there's a change of terms? How can they defend themselves that they violate one of the terms? There's no evidence they can show.

Reputable casinos can't just change terms if they are under license. The topic here is reputable casinos, right?
You should know the terms and they've been elaborating it since the time you do decide to make some registration. Its just right that you should read up and if there were some alterations then you could really make out some complaints.

It is really just hard to make out some evidence unless if you do make out some screenshot but most of the time, gamblers doesnt really mind off about reading this and would commonly skip out.

Reputation is something for a business to retain because once they do let for it to be broken then it is really hard to get it back or winning the community trust once again.
2623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: August 18, 2021, 10:16:32 PM
Bitcoin before the pandemic was also a good investment, it is not only compatible with this mess.  Bitcoin has an influence on the entire economy, politics, society, finance..., Covid 19 only makes us realize how degenerate Fiat is and how much risk from the bank is how serious.  Bitcoin is becoming more and more important, store of value, trillion assets, digital gold…etc as all have proven investing in bitcoin is the ultimate safety and perfect for tapping endless potential  about profit
Bitcoin investment doesnt really require on what situation we might be facing on because not all people would really be having that money to spend or money to invest before or after the pandemic.

When you do have money to spare on bitcoin investment then go ahead but if the money you do have is only just good for surviving your daily living then its not really ideal to make any investment.

Its up to someones risk management if he would take a step ahead or would just simply standby and would prioritize things first on whats important.
2624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 18, 2021, 09:38:59 PM
You are betting on the odds that the game's item that you own will be of much more value when you buy something in those NFT games so basically you are betting on the ods that aren't clearly specified but they exist.

It's quite hard to put this into classic gambling but gambling is most likely involved because the outcome of an item's value in the future is uncertain and it's similar to stocks.
And thats a form of investment rather talking it as a gambling game specifically and people should at least know the difference among the two and shouldnt really be compared since both are different things.

Well, yes there might be some mixed of gamble since you are risking out your money on investing or buying these in-game items or something like that or simply with digital things but

you wouldnt know if these things will really be valuable later on or you would be simply just wasting off your time and money.
2625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: August 18, 2021, 09:08:14 PM
In fact, holding is a very difficult job because you have to be very patient when it comes to holding. If you are not patient, there are some long-term invested coins that you can pump as you market. You want to sell them but if you hold them for a long time, you can get a lot more profit. So holding in the world of cryptocurrency is a very difficult and complex process.
It really depends on the characteristics that you have as a trader and the expectations that you have out of this market, for newbies that do not really know what they are getting into and that have expectations of getting rich almost immediately then holding is going to be incredibly difficult, however if you really believe in technology behind bitcoin and your expectations are conservative then holding is going to be way easier especially if you take the time to look at the market and enter when it's stable and not when it's going up.
We do have different target or goals towards our investment. Some would really be that eager on seeing profits and taking or cashing out in short term and some do really tend to held up for years before making some conversion.

Holding is never an easy thing because you would need to resist temptations on selling neither profit taking times or cutting losses times because market could only just go with those paths neither go up or down.

It would really depend or vary on you since its your money then you do have the full control or decision on what to make as long it would really be giving out some advantage.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What lie did you tell? on: August 18, 2021, 07:42:53 PM
Reading those replies that they didn't or never lied to their parents egarding gambling got me thinking that am I a bad kid back then? Haha.

I just remembered way back in high school time my experience in playing billiards with cards, it's also a type of gambling which winner takes all the bet instead the typical billiard/pool game. My weekly allowance didn't make it even wednesday due to the addiction in playing and/mostly losing billiards.
I always give my mom a reason that my teacher ask a lot for school projects and paid with my weekly allowance  Grin.

Each person is different and it cant really be denied that there are people who never able to lie on their parents in regards to gambling but its impossible to think of that they havent lied for the first time ever
in regards on other matter.

Even myself did really make out some lie but it isnt really for the matter of gambling situation. We as kids does have that kind of behavior on where we do involve some things which isnt really that
right for our age.

Just normal for you to be scolded since we are just young and need to be guided but there are really times which we do really go too far.
2627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 17, 2021, 11:48:07 PM
Moreover, if we study Bitcoin correctly, we will understand that Bitcoin always recovers quickly when it experiences a price decline.
For the current bullish season, what you said is true. Bitcoin recovers quickly whenever there is a dump on the Bitcoin. But if it is in the bearish season, I doubt the Bitcoin price can recover as quickly as in the bullish season. The demand to buy Bitcoin is not very big as in the bullish, so we must be more careful when we are already in the bearish season.

What goes up must come down and what comes down have always the chance or possibility of going up and this is how people should be thinking off.Calling it a safe haven cant really be fitted out on any investment.

There would always be a risk on whatever you do as long you are aiming for getting profits then you should take a risk.Dont think about being safe or risk-free because it wont be called investment if you dont risk out.

Be prepared on the risk but if you dont like on losing money then this market isnt really for you.
2628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 17, 2021, 10:35:03 PM

I can personally testify to that as well.
I had my first Axie team back in June (considered to be a late entry when Axie become a big hit in March) for approximately $800 including gas fees and SLP was around $0.1. After  more than 2 weeks of playing, I was able to cash out $1,200 as the SLP had a run to break a new ATH early in July.
See, in just less than a month I was able to take back my capital investment plus an extra ROI.

Again, there is a difference between a literal gambling and investing in NFT games. Some people seems to be confusing themselves between gambling and investment.
Good for you, and till now if you still piloting your character you continue to earn and that's all passive income for you.

Taking part with NFT games like Axie really pay decently, though for now those who have that same desire need to invest a huge amount of money to have a good starter pack to begin their journey.

There's always a risk, but if you have a strong nerved and you believe to your instinct whatever happened you'll going to take your step.
If you do like to have some improvement into your life in terms of finances then you should really take some risky step even though gambling out some funds for the sake of investment.

You wouldnt know if it would be effective or not or would turns out to be profitable or not.On this case, there are lots of people who took the risk on buying their teams and turns out on hitting ROI after a month

which i can really consider to be worth since on the next month you are already just longing for your pure profit since you had already ensured your capital which is a must or priority thing.
2629  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are panic buying right now! on: August 17, 2021, 09:36:49 PM
Right. recently many people are flocking to buy bitcoins when the price continues to soar. Even those who used to think bitcoin was over, are now starting to invest again. Although not buying when the bitcoin price fell to $30k but now you can still buy bitcoin because in the future the bitcoin price will set a new record. Hence bitcoin holders, in the long run, are the winners.

They are buying because they are hoping to earn since they believe the bull run is coming back again and we need to avoid doing this since its really dangerous to get FOMO then buy when market keeps pumping since we never know what will be the ending of it and might we will bag hold since we bought at the top. Yeah I agree although the long term holder is always a winner on this but the question there is does those people who bought at the top can handle the market stress? if yes they might be lucky but if not well to bad for them.
At the end of the day it boils down to something as simple as that, the price at which you buy does not matter, anyone that has been able to hold their coins for 3 years has been profitable, the question is can you hold for those 3 years? Some can do so and they are able to enjoy massive profits because of it, and then we have the people that buy bitcoin and think they can hold no matter what only to discover too late they cannot do it and they have to pay the consequences of that mistake.
People would neither sold or hold their coins according to their needs and preference since not all would really be having that kind of level of patience into holding into something for 3 years or more but i do agree that there are people who could do such thing but this doesnt really apply to all.We do have our own choices and jurisdiction in comes to that manner.

Panic buying is something that can be considered as FOMO.Do it usually happen? Everytime there some increase then it cant really be avoided to presume or having impressions that it might be the start of a bull run.

If percentage rise was significant then its the time on where those observers would taking up some action or making their position.
2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: August 17, 2021, 08:47:20 PM
An interesting article, thank you, it's a pity that there is no information on the profitability of this business or, roughly speaking, about the total turnover of money. In fact, the figure of 44 billion looks suspicious to me, while individual firms began to exceed a trillion dollars in capitalization, the whole industry here generates only a few tens of billions of profits?  Undecided

For businesses to be more profitable, they will not declare everything their earn, the data is only based on the amount declared but in reality, they are making more than they declared. However, it's just speculation in our mind since we have no evidence, but as a mature person who is in business as well, I know how accountant does to make the business minimize the tax responsibility, and that is by reducing income and increasing expenses per record.

Hmmm ... to be honest, I can't seriously take the idea that in a country with very tough tax laws, where you can easily be jailed for tax evasion, someone does something like that. I think the discussed figures are very close to reality, even if there are some inaccuracies. Of course, there is always a black market, but we are talking about legal business, so we can ignore it.

That's happening mostly in countries where regulators are corrupt, the company does not pay the right taxes and when they are audited and found out the tax deficiencies, they will just settle with the auditors and pay them to settle the problem between them, so the government will not make the right revenue here because it goes to the pockets of the corrupt tax regulators.
Common things that do happen specially into known corrupt countries where these settlements do really happen once those establishments didnt really pay up tax well. You could really expect that there would be some

arrangements that would happen behind the curtains and would ending up that those money would really just go into the pockets of those corrupt officials.

Is this something new? No its been a normal scenario that could happen from time to time and lets embrace this sad reality.
2631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: August 17, 2021, 07:55:26 PM
Your are right and i lose many time at start. Whenever market rise and one coin pumped hard then people start to book profit which result dump in price 20%-50%.
Everyone in crypto come here fir iwn profit so be safe in every trade.
Losing is inevitable and this is why you should really be that persistent on how you do make yourself to be that handling out on the current situation. It would mainly affect your emotion which would really

be the reason for you on making out rush decisions which would really be the cause of losses.Even though you could handle yourself well in terms of emotions but still wont really be that sufficient or enough

that do guarantee profits because market is unpredictable but at least you could really able to handle up yourself in various situations.
2632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 16, 2021, 11:34:59 PM
Watford first replaced Sportsbet sponsor with Stake and now they replaced bitcoin with dogecoin on their shirts, and that second part I don't understand at all.
I don't think that adding Doge is a good marketing strategy for anyone except maybe Elon Musk and his frens.
There are people who are more positive on the dogecoin are there. This has happened as a result of the pump provided by the influence of Elon Musk. Now along with his friends the entire cryptocurrency users have an eye over dogecoin. Maybe Watford is indirectly supporting the influencers marketing pattern leaving bitcoin.

I can’t believe a premier league team can sporting with Dogecoin logo on their shirt sleeves, Dogecoin is now number#2 on trending in twitter, This meme team know well how to get peoples attention. Newcomer are their main target, I don't think any professional trader will go for this meme coin, cause from 2014 till now this coin has no fundamental support or goal.
Could you explain me how a crypto in the top 10 of the largest market caps (currently the 7th biggest market cap of all cryptos)couldn't be traded by any professional trader? Dogecoin is listed on all exchanges, including derivatives exchanges like Bitmex, and the first time it has been pumped this year it was by a powerful community of skilled traders, the WallStreetBets group. Doge has a real fundamental goal : being cheap, fast and easy to use.
You could actually tell if someone do really trade or not on just basing into those words that do pop out into his mouth.Doge is mainly included on most casinos and sportsbook.

Fast confirmation and cheap fees and no doubt that every casino is considering such option. It might be meme coin but it is way more better compared into those copycat coins in the  market.
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: August 16, 2021, 10:59:24 PM
One just need to get this thing that cryptocurrency is an investment with patients, that any point in time for you to get what you need, you need to exercise patience, many lose their huge fund because is not bring what they except or going below their expectations, one just need to know cryptocurrency is a win-win investment with patients
Patience is something that would mainly be tested out but if you dont have much experience on this market then it is really hard to control off.You do need to deal countless trades before you could
able to handle yourself  well  into  this market.

Dont panic? This is something that you cant avoid but with proper knowledge and experience, you would able to handle or control yourself specially on emotion aspect.

Since you do have the experience towards the market then you are much aware on what would  be your possible next move.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: August 16, 2021, 10:37:21 PM
If we talk about gambling then I prefer to manage my funds on a weekly basis. It helps me dearly to find a way not to overbet and keep a constant money flow which doesn't have to go beyond my budget. Talking about the budget specifically, given the small profit I was able to get during the last season, I might increase it around 20%
As long as you do not break your budget limit, you might get profit, but you still need to control your limit money. It is better to save the profit or withdraw the money than to add it to the bet because that will not increase the chance to win the game. A weekly report will show us how much money we use in gambling to determine if that amount is enough or we need to reduce it.
Dont see that it would really be necessary because if you do really mind off on how much you do spend on gambling then you arent really ready to lost those funds in the first place.

You dont need to track.Gambling  is for entertainment and not some sort of investment which you do need to have some tracking on how much you had already spent. Also you can make out

calculations if you do wanted to since gambling sites does have deposit and withdrawal history.
2635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: August 16, 2021, 09:27:26 PM
In my opinion, the presence of the covid 19 vaccine has no effect on bitcoin, all of us know bitcoin does not depend on others, in 2017 there is no covid but the price of bitcoin is going up and now there is a corona outbreak the price of bitcoin is going up so I don't think covid 19 has an effect on bitcoin.
the causes of 2017 and now are not interrelated even if the vaccine doesn't affect bitcoin but 2017 is a different matter.
it is true that with the vaccine or not bitcoin will not be affected by it because the function of the vaccine itself is to reduce the risk of contracting this virus and it does not mean that with the vaccine we are completely free from the virus and forget about bitcoin. Of course the concept is not like that.
bitcoin will still be as it is and now the trend is good and even if the vaccine spreads and is used everywhere bitcoin will not be affected clearly and significantly
Why people are really fan on tagging up bitcoin into world events or situations that we are facing?it might indeed affect most of countries economy but i dont see for it on mainly affecting Bitcoin or crypto market as  a whole.

We do even see that bitcoin did really make out some significant rise on the first year of that covid pandemic which we can really say that it isnt a viable reason on why we do see some declines.

Some people or investor tend to cash out for their needs but there were people whom do tend to hold up for future gains or profits.
2636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the possible outcomes if you join on a Gambling sites or in Casino on: August 16, 2021, 08:28:53 PM
For me there are 3 possible outcomes if you  join on gambling

First if you are in your lucky day for sure you will win and get more money and became rich.

Second If you are in your unlucky day accept that you will loss the game and come home angry and sad.

Third  addicted even if you are in you lucky day or in unlucky day you all you have in your mind is fight back without knowing that your win or loss .

Gambling is for entertainment.Doesnt matter if you do win or lost but majority of  people is really minding about on winning which this kind of motive will really mold that kind of  mindset on where
you would continue to play on longer duration.

In result?  Addiction.. If you arent good on handling yourself into particular situations then high chances  you would really get addicted.Winnings is just a bonus and you should be prepared
to lost that money you've been using in  gambling.

Winning isnt an assurance but honestly we do gamble for the sake of entertainment or enjoyment.
2637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always pump after sold holdings. on: August 16, 2021, 07:26:30 PM
It's the same story for the most of us. To be honest, the same thing happened with me today.
I had sold some Solana coins a few days ago when the price was at around $40.
I thought that the price would decrease and I can buy back more to accumulate more number of coins.
Little did I know the price would pump to an ATH today. I kept waiting for a dip but the price kept rising up.
I know it's a terrible feeling but we don't have any choice other than to accept the fact and move on.
Regretable feeling indeed because who have really thought that  it could reach up all time high? No one had really expected to do so thats why in able to avoid frustration then it would be always better on not to mind off
even though it wont be that easy but theres no other way to relieve that stress inside you.

Thing here is that we do able to secure profits rather than on having losses which i could say that it is more stressful than on missing out profits. So better be contented on what you do have.

We all experience this situation for sure but there's no point on looking back because it wouldnt really make you go further ahead.
2638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: August 16, 2021, 06:27:27 PM
The maxim is always that you should only gamble with money what you can spare, but most people know that. More importantly, keep a bankroll for gambling, and a strategy. And under no circumstances go over your limits, try to put your emotions aside. Only then can you enjoy it.
You true, in difficult economic conditions like today due to the corona pandemic, of course we must be able to manage the finances we have as well as possible so as not to have an impact on our family finances, in my opinion, emotions are the main factor that makes us lose everything in gambling and that's why we need strong emotional control when gambling.

In such situation, its better to avoid getting into gambling. I understand its going to be really challenging for those who are addicted. We depend on money to manage all our needs. So when there is a little, its good to plan with the little amount we have. Its easy to say or advice but yes i agree, its hard to practice though. Self realization and self control will only help to manage the situations.
If you do saw that you do have a hard time  when it comes to finances for expenses then why gamble  into the first place? You should be aware nor  really be  that sensible enough to consider on what are the things

that could possibly happen if you do let yourself involved with gambling even though you know that your finances arent really that good nor even sufficient for your daily living?

Thinking it as a source of income? Better think twice because if gambling doesnt really fit out into that criteria but instead it would rather make you lost your money.

I am sure in last 1.5 years all gambling sites which are trustworthy would have received a significant growth as due to lockdown and people working from home, online gambling might have became the part of their life. Do we have any stats of such sites like how many active users before lockdown and at present they have it and same goes with no of bets as those are some of the indicators through which we may know the growth story of such called sexy casino.

In some parts of the world, people still prefer to go in online casino and enjoy their time there. Those who play gambling online may need to earn money through gambling but those who go in physical casino, their motive is both entertainment and gambling. Such type of gamblers wont mind seeing more entertainment in form of semi nude sexy girls in the casino.
I don't understand why people gambling online wouldn't do it for entertainment? Huh Where have you seen that exactly? You really think most of people are gambling online just to try to earn money? If it's true then why those sexy casinos are online and not physical?
We could still see those sexy ladies on online casino if you do actually have the experience but it seems this guy hadnt able to experience it as he had mentioned that you cant get some entertainment here online.  Tongue

Its on personal preference on where they do get entertainment neither into those sexy gals or in the game itself or we can say both.Dont know on where this guy do play and for sure he doesnt have much
experience on playing online or didnt able to experience it out.
