2621  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Reinstalling Ledger Live And Accounts On New Computer on: December 24, 2021, 08:33:54 AM
I am now using a new computer for this and need to start over.  But I believe I don't need to enter my seed though into the nano ledger right?
If I recall the process correctly, you'll just simply need to reinstall the Ledger Live to your computer, plug the HW device in and add your accounts back again. The only time it requires you to re-enter the seed phrase is when the HW device has been previously reset or replaced.

After that, I need to create a new password right on ledger live?  Then after I do that.  Do I connect my nano ledger so to it?  Or do I add accounts first?
I don't think the order of choosing a new password and adding the accounts back matters because after verifying that your ledger device is genuine, the next screen that will appear is the ledger live dashboard, and it's up to you whether you want to add the account first and then choose a new password in the settings.
2622  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: AXS and SLP available now on Coins.PH!!! on: December 24, 2021, 08:06:50 AM
Coins.ph getting better and better na mag adapt ng mga tokens na gaya ng AXS at SLP
It's not.

Using coins.ph as an alternative in exchange for comfort isn't the most practical move to consider, in fact, baka mas mababa pa yung makuha ng relative mo kapag sa coins.ph nagpapalit.

You probably need to move your thread into a proper board to get more related information regarding your question about minimg alts.

2624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: December 23, 2021, 04:20:02 PM
I suppose you should take this into consideration, or else you'll just keep burning your account. Not to say that this is the holy grail, but it is preferable to have a visual representation of what to do and what not to do before and after executing your trade.

The key takeaway here is that, assuming you've done your homework (thoroughly studying T.A), you should consider journalizing and reviewing the results regardless of whether the trade was successfully executed or not.

2625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS on: December 23, 2021, 03:46:12 PM
I guess none of the other forum members have mentioned this underrated technical analysis course in youtube.

It's been a few months since I found COTTONCANDYTA from other members of this forum and I must say that, while his courses are lengthy, the amount of knowledge you can get is comparable to a proper university education.

And He currently update the contents from Beginners to the most Advanced courses so that everyone can easily follow.
2626  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Looking for Cryptocurrency Online Store in the Philippines on: December 23, 2021, 04:05:16 AM
I doubt merong mga online store na tumatanggap ng crypto dito sa pinas or kung meron man hindi sila publicly listed or sobrang malilit lang sila saka mostly over the counter like sari-sari store. For example katulad nung nsa babang link:

Small Business that accept bitcoin or cyptocurrency here in PH, worth it ba?

Meron ding bago ngayon na online payment application na pwedeng gamitin yung stablecoins/SLP/AXS for mobile credits and transactions. Kinda similar sa coins.ph  Smiley

2627  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie has honest reasons for being involved with crypto on: December 21, 2021, 03:21:24 PM
I also joined the forum a few years ago and I hate to admit that I joined because of a decent financial gain. However, becoming involved in cryptospace for years helped me to stay in the community while constantly developing my interest and knowledge over time.

The forum also serves as my primary source of information to get different opinions regarding some issues/events that are happening in the crypto space -- some of which are gossips. Cheesy
2628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Wallet on: December 21, 2021, 03:08:43 PM
It all depends on what you want to do with your wallet. Personally, having a hardware wallet, a hot wallet, and an exchange is sufficient as long as you understand the do's and don'ts of these types of wallets.

If you have a large amount of crypto in your stash and plan to hold it for a long time, it is important that you have  at least one hardware wallet, such as a trezor/ledger/coldkey, etc. You can also integrate these HW's into Electrum if you want

If you're only going to use the wallet for day-to-day spending, Bluewallet will suffice, assuming you're only holding bitcoin and no other altcoins. Can be downloaded on playstore or applestore.
2629  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: May mga naglaro dito ng Thetan Arena? on: December 21, 2021, 02:12:09 PM
Apologize for bumping the thread -- just wanna share some opinions/criticisms I have found on the internet.

Not sure if you've heard about BOTS swarming on the game itself?

Bots alone could greatly affect the experience of every players of course lalo na kung MOBA usapan right?

I assume na kaya palaging may prompt si Trezor for requesting new address is for privacy reasons kaya nga recommended ng iba na iwasan yung address reuse.
2631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: December 16, 2021, 12:32:36 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum each have their own advantages. The development of Ethereum is getting better and better. Many people pay more attention to Ethereum than Bitcoin. But Ethereum will still be affected by Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still the big brother in the cryptocurrency market.
I still don't get the Idea why people keeps on comparing Bitcoin against Ethereum when the truth is both currencies has their own ways of helping people.
so i know i cannot choose anything  on them because i Hold both of them.
But of course it is Bitcoin that i will prefer if needed to choose one.

Maybe because they are the top 1 and 2 in the market that's why people keep comparing about it, but if we look closely we cannot really compare this two coins since we all know that bitcoin is hard to be take over by any alts even if its ethereum. But what the best thing here is maybe we should stop comparing it but instead buy both of them and earn with it.
2632  Economy / Gambling / Re: betflip.io does not pay me even my deposit amount on: December 16, 2021, 10:32:09 AM
I still can`t understand why newbies creating threads just after they lost their money? Why don`t they do any research? If they create thread here, it means that they know about this board, so why don`t use it? Spend just 20 minutes and save money, this is really easy. They are losing much more time trying to return their money and mostly they willn`t return it, so doing research helps to save not only the money but the time too.
I doubt that they are newbies because, from their stories, we see many of them deposit more than $50-$100. If they are really newbies, they will not risk too big money for gambling, especially since gambling is something new for them. They need to figure out how to play gambling and learn how to control themselves. Maybe they are old crypto users who have much experience but they are curious about the gambling site so they deposit that big money but boom, they lose their money.

Theirs two sides here this is either those newbies are paid for destroying some new casino which start to rise up to eliminate their competition or they are not totally a forum member then just locate this forum via google search.  Ut anyways whatever it is unless newbies who created a thread have a valid proof regarding on their claims then that's good since it will give us a warning on that casino they are pointing on.
2633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 15, 2021, 01:05:55 PM
The bitcoin market in the last few days has experienced a drastic decline, even the price of bitcoin which previously touched the price of $68 thousand, actually experienced a decline of almost 29%, today decline was most likely caused by many whales who started to take short-term profits by selling their assets, besides the impact of the new corona virus variant makes people afraid and causes great panic in every aspect of life including the economy, finance and also investment.

The new variant fear is just a short term fud and for sure people almost forget about that but what may cause the current one right now is the fear of people about the possible long days of bear market season which is almost happening this days. Maybe if this fear didn't settle up until the end of this year then maybe we can say that what happen from the past might happen this year and instead of looking at it on negative ways maybe we should think about its good opportunity to buy some cheap bitcoin at hold it for quite long time.
2634  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sudden Surge of BTC Volume on Prime XBT - Why? on: December 15, 2021, 11:45:26 AM
I searched for any positive news and did not find it during this month, so the increase is either because a large whale entered the platform or manipulated the price in an attempt to convince investors that it is a good platform for exchanging currencies.
Whales never go to any exchange that doesn't already have a high volume, they need liquidity for their trades and if the order books are thin (the main reason for low volume) they won't even be able to perform any trades let alone make any profit.
The only possibilities are either growth in number of users or reporting fake volume. I say the chance of the latter is higher.

What is suspected there is they use fake volume so that they can get attention just like what we discuss today, I agree for what other says since whales will never risk there huge amount of money even if that is the amount which they can afford to lose on the platform which is not known or reputable to much on the investors. But lets still see maybe they are gaining attention but I still doubt about that situation.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot Machine Strategy? on: December 15, 2021, 10:30:14 AM
...
So yes There is No strategy that can assure wins but at least the best one is to Limit your capital and limit your desired win so frustration will not come
across and you will just Play with Fun and not totally for wins.

There's no strategy for winning all the time, but there should be some plan, some strategy, what you are going to do with your bankroll, what games you will play and how will you play them! I guess it's pure luck if someone opens a random game and plays all in the first bet! But if someone knows at least something about bankroll management and games you play then you can create some strategy that can give you higher chances of winning! Even the simplest strategy is some kind of strategy, and that can make a big difference from making random bets on random payouts and hoping for the best!

The only strategy I know is that since if we plan our bank roll and set something limits towards our capital then provably we can avoid losing any huge amount which can make us stress or fell want to revenge at the game. And any other strategy what been introduce is just a pure flowering words since we cannot really say it will work at real time since most of all we are dealing on pure luck on that kind of game.
2636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exactly how does BTC development go on, if the current group all quits or dies? on: December 14, 2021, 11:51:34 PM
There are so many developers, there are so many people contributing to the development of Bitcoins, at the same time they do get paid directly and indirectly as well which does make this a wonderful option for many people to hang in there and improve the quality of Bitcoin in every aspect that there is.
If someone leaves then the position opens up for new people, which I do think would be managed by the already existing/left developers of the core and therefore I do think that it's not a really big deal if the developers decide to leave since many people would work for Bitcoin undoubtedly, it has a very strong community in case you haven't noticed the Bitcointalk.org has been growing as well, therefore I do think that it's about the support and knowledge which is plenty in the community.

There will always be new generation that can take their place. If someone leaves, another one will get in. So yes, for me, that's not a problem. There will always be another hungry young blood that will be interested to work in this group. It is like someone leaving his job. There will always someone that will apply for that vacant position. As long as humanity exists, I believe, there will always be interested people to work on this kind of endeavor. So don't worry about this situation because it may not happen at all.

We can say it is knowing bitcoin adoption evolves and this will not go exclusively to the person who currently knows it, we know mainstream media is slowly reporting bitcoin and some other channels especially movies includes bitcoin name on some script so there's no surprise that we can see new generation of investors as years go past on it so we shouldn't worry about such things since whenever there's someone stop using it another huge numbers will come since there's a lot of opportunity on bitcoin.
2637  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scamming me , void my win regular bets, dont want to payout!Pictures proof on: December 14, 2021, 12:36:12 PM
Just another attempt to take advantage of the delay in updating the results on table tennis live betting. Most complaints are for the same abuse.
Better tell all of us how many seconds before the match is over you bet. I'm sure you knew the result beforehand and thought you could cheat the bookmaker.

For several times they have accusation you still have guts to defend them? Well its so clear that you didn't care about other's welfare since you only want to earn money from your campaign and its not surprising to see how someone like you react and almost blame the victim of that scam site.

I guess for others the series of accusations should be the huge indicator that 1xbit is not a good site to gamble on.
2638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: December 14, 2021, 10:22:18 AM
I am not ready to sell my bitcoin because I know its price will increase back, I do not mind if it will take time but I know it will increase back. But recently the price of bitcoin has been decreasing, before it was at a resistance of $60000 but now it is at a resistance of $55000. I am thinking bitcoin price may never increase for now back to above $60000. The support is strong at $50000 and bitcoin has not falled to the level at all but is this not the begining of the bearish market?
The market shows more volatility for the last 3 days , it is growing a little then dumping at the same time after  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/ now we can see that it is unpredictable and only the strong hands can achieve the profit of Holding.
to those weak hands try to close your eyes for a while so you will not be triggered to sell out because you'll miss the great pump before the year ends.
but given that the market will continue fall yet this is a great advantage for the long term holder to purchase more and try to add their bags with much more bitcoin for the next 5 years.

Hard to close our eyes especially when the market move the way we don't like but what the best thing to do if we are losing is either to cut loss and buy in the dip. But if we can able to hold then that's good but expect to hold it for many months from now since recovery takes time and fear is still high in the market since no people yet thinking bullish on the market at this point.
2639  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 12, 2021, 11:05:44 PM
This proves that marketing campaign on Bitcointalk works very well and users of this forum play and bet on 1xBit.

This is utter nonsense and there is no evidence to support your claims. There is not one bitcointalk member who would believe the lies you are spreading here and risk their money on a scam platform like 1xbit / 1xbet.

The failure of their contest in the "Games and rounds" section is evidence of this.

They don't care about other peoples money but they care their campaign to last long and continuously get paid by 1xbit that's why they keep telling lies to attract people to play at this site. Those accusation will be a valid point for other to stop playing here since it really not good for keep seeing encountering issue and this site always involve to that.
2640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Prime Minister Promoting Bitcoins Giveaway on: December 12, 2021, 02:37:44 PM
The official Twitter account of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hacked in order for the hackers to scam people.

How come his twitter account get hacks and that too for the 2nd time ?
The prime minister twitter account should have the highest possible security and password  standards. This is something which should not be ignored.

Any idea who hacked the account  Huh

For being hacked for second time around it tells that their prime minister is not so techy and maybe he should stop or at least hire someone who know more better to do the job for him, since if he get hack for the same activity again then this might cause a huge financial damage to his citizen. Also hopefully those hackers will be traced since they are playing a dangerous game here.
