2621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy alts at the right time? on: January 20, 2022, 02:38:28 AM
Some people says that buying altcoins is always held during the dip, for me it is not the main basis, I always prefer to choose altcoin with the great use case even if present price is high there is a possibility that it will continue to rise depending on the people adaption.
You have a point. As long as long the specific coin has potential and promising to become a big thing in the future then engaging yourself is a good move regardless of the price.

But still, it would be even better to buy during dip so if the price increase you'll earn higher instead of buying without thinking that the price might plunge after you buy it.

Anyway we have different strategy on when to buy. What important is you know what you're doing and fully understand the nature of crypto.
2622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 20, 2022, 01:55:20 AM
This is the right time to pick invest into altcoins which didn't got expected pump during the bullrun yet posses the potential, I want you guys to share your opinion on altcoins which we should invest.
I will choose to invest on any established coins because even they already pump last bullrun they will likeky to pump again once the market recover. If BTC increase drastically established alts certainly follow the trend its happening during bullish season.

Though I am not a big fan of XRP but I would prefer XRP and ADA to invest now at dip. 70% investment would be into ADA and 30% into XRP.
Its not a bad choice but for me I will prioritize ETH, BNB, Matic and Sol to include in my portfolio while the prices are declining. Nevertheless we still have to do our own research to understand why these coins are worth it to hold.
2623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 20, 2022, 01:14:10 AM
It won't hurt to have 100,000 shiba inu coin in your wallet you know, I'm saying this because I used to have 1,000,000 doge coin in my wallet but got tired of holding it and sold, we both know how much that it today so we can't say if shiba can make its way to where doge coin is right now, it won't hurt to have some in holding
Well, thats true it wont hurt specially if you're a risk taker and not hoping too much. Holding some shiba would be a wise decision since we dont know what lies ahead, you might profit or lose your capital.

Though its not advisable to invest in meme coins, but we know if they pump, its an instant profit. Thats why I still have meme coins in my wallet (aside from my established alts) that I didnt sell before even I already gain from it. I still left some of those and patiently waiting.

So it depends for every investors, buy at your own risk and have less expectation.
2624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 19, 2022, 04:43:59 AM
What do you think? Is it really possible to become rich with 0.01 BTC in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
Well, there's a possibility, if the price of Bitcoin continuously increase in the future. However it might take a long years since we're only talking of 0.01BTC here. If an investor really want to become rich by investing in BTC then he/she needs to buy more to hold for long period.

Anyway one thing im certain is, those investors who are patient enough and can hold his 0.01 BTC for long period can surely gain in time.
2625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: January 19, 2022, 04:16:22 AM
What is your market expectations this 2022? Here is what I believe will happen, we will see more dips than price surge this year and that will happen because we have many more crypto believers now, if we are in 2019 now we would have been in a heavy bear market already, as time goes on there will also be more sell than buying and bears will get their powers back
More dips because of many believers?

If crypto gain many believers compared to past years then the case would be there's more demand since many investors are aware about the crypto existence. Dont you think?

Anyway, im optimistic this bearish market that we currently experiencing wont last long. I believe the next quarter would be better and most coins will recover.
2626  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 19, 2022, 02:50:17 AM
Bitvest has still the good reputation and it is still a creditable casino to play with. However if anyone feel their withdrawals may be stuck or pending, they can always have the choice to skip the casino and play at another site.
Bitvest used to be a reputable casino. But due to some issues and lack of communication of the owner, it affected his business and gamblers started to have doubt if they will continue to play on the site.

Back to the problems/issues of Op that he/she mistakenly send his/her LTC to BTC wallets and asking for justice which is this issues made by his careless thinking. But I don't know if there's a chance that Op will have his/her money back cause this is not about the casino's mistake but Op's mistake.
Yes its his fault but he is hoping Bitvest casino will somehow help him if he can still recover the funds. Unfortunately there's no good news for him.
2627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 19, 2022, 02:09:08 AM

Another advantage of those contests running here in bitcointalk forum that makes Roobet quite different from other platforms is that in most of the contests, forum users are are not required to provide their emails or any additional personal info to join the contests except those that require to have an account in the platform to guess number of wagers for instance or to find something hidden in the GUI design.

Everybody is welcome in Roobet. I think it's one of the fewest good gambling platforms in the crypto gambling industry nowadays and other platforms find it a little hard to compete with it.

It is already quite a while since Roobet held contest here on this forum (i.e. find the slot, guess the number of wagers, slot battles, sports predictions,...). I miss these contests are they were fun, free to participate (except for the slot battles) and you could win a nice price!
Yes those contests are free to participate. I missed guess the total wagers, its not easy to predict accurately the total wagers but its fun. Sometimes I even use as reference the previous total to make a calculation but unfortunately im still not lucky. On the other side I once win in guess the slot, its easy because of the clue so there are many winners and that includes me. Grin I hope they resume these contests again.
2628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Greed Comes First in Trading, the Result is Bankruptcy on: January 18, 2022, 08:43:11 AM
Its not unusual for some newbies to think trading is easy and there's no need for deep knowledge to understand it, because of what they see on other traders who managed to earn huge and succeed as a trader. Sometimes we need to experience failure to realize our mistakes like being greedy to earn in snap.

When I was a newbie I also have experience of losing my capital (though not to the point of going bankrupt) but that experience teach me to do better and be serious if I really want to be a trader who gain more than losing.

So newbies need to take time learning to better understand the nature of trading. Dont think its easy to earn as a trader because it depends on your plan and strategy.
2629  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: January 18, 2022, 08:15:03 AM
We should not borrow any money or loan if there is no urgent need for it. These days people see that crypto gives a lot of good returns and therefore people take loan to invest in cryptocurrency. This should be avoided because we have to return the loans at certain time and there is no grantee that our investment in crypto will be profitable at given time. In bearish times, we may have to wait few months in order to get any profit.
Indeed. Even investing in crypto is profitable (specially for long period) still there's guarantee that you'll gain the moment you already need to pay your borrowed money.

Investing is risky and no matter how proven to be profitable it is, dont take a loan just to invest. It is still better save and use it for capital, so regardless of the outcome you dont have to worry since you used your own money.

So be wise and dont make a decision that you'll regret if something unexpected happened on your investment.
2630  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: January 18, 2022, 06:24:03 AM
I am amazed to see many experienced gamblers here, some users started since 10-15 years ago so I feel like a newbie in this gambling industry. Hope you guys with that long experiences are also playing in duelbits, you are all invited to join the regular competitions by duelbits both on-site competitions and forum competitions.

Don't forget experience is not a guarantee we always win because experience is teacher to minimize mistakes or losses in the future the main challenge for gamblers is emotional
Yes the contest is running and will be closed in the next few hours we already have participants, there is one strange thing roycilik posted earlier, are you sure he hit maxwin?
It's a rare moment he has no reason to post early except to hit maxwin  Cheesy
Right with time we gain some experience but it's not like that who is playing from many years will have more chance of winning against someone who has just started playing because gambling is more luck based. But having more exposure is good sign that you have some experience and gained some skills to handle hard situations also.Good to know there are many fellow gamblers who have given much time to this field.
Well, I dont think experience in gambling will maximize our chance to win because most gambling games are more on luck. Unless you prefer the games that skills and strategy has a participation in order to win. Anyway, the edge of the gamblers (who are playing for years) is they were able to control their emotions and can limit themselves. Thats why they're not ending up as addicted.
2631  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 18, 2022, 05:37:29 AM
Rollbit explains on the blog for a 7-day loan without interest but i don't know how much % if more than 7 days.
The loan period is 7 days only. If you cant pay the loan during that period then its over. No extension will be given and your NFT will be handed to Rollbit and will be listed at the marketplace (this is based on their support).

If we try to understand what Rollbit purpose of offering loans is to attract NFT holders to play on their site so I believe most of the users who take advantage of this offer are for gamble basically this is what Rollbit is hoping for.
Yes. Its an option to encourage the NFT owners to gamble or to continue to gamble if they're running out of funds. But regardless of the reason on why you're taking a loan, as long as you can repay it then its fine.

2632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 17, 2022, 05:54:49 AM
Now that we are in 2022 is 100k per BTC still possible?
Of course it is still possible. However we cant exactly predict when it will going to happen because the price is not showing any major improvement and there's no news that can affect the price to move upward.

what do you think could still happen? Also it seems like altcoins have no high chances again unless BTC do the impossible
As we know alts often follow the movement of Bitcoin hence if Bitcoin is declining, its already expected that alts are likely to move the same. The current situation is not unusual, just bear it and be firm to hold your coins. Bullish season will take place again so look forward to it.
2633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Changing my Thoughts And Behaviors. on: January 17, 2022, 04:41:54 AM
What change have you noticed in your life since you get involved in Bitcoin
After engaging myself in Bitcoin, I became more wise managing my finances and I then believe that money can really work for us instead of working for money. Because when I started investing in Bitcoin, I experience to become financially stable and not relying alone on my real job to earn. More importantly I have this privacy that I cant get to bank when it comes to saving my assets.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 17, 2022, 04:24:39 AM
So its a personal preference on what things you've been dealing with depending or according to your likes.
Yes it depends on each player because we have different preference when it comes to gambling. In my case I enjoy playing luck based games like slots and dice. I can get instant result, its entertaining and exciting as well. But there's no certain strategy that can help to increase the chances to win. Sports bet on other side is a bit different because having knowledge is an edge to win, this is also where I often get a good result. But most of the time when I gamble, I spend it playing games that requires more on luck.
2635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Show Your Victory on: January 17, 2022, 03:37:05 AM
Guys, I would share my big winnings with you if I had them Grin But still the biggest one was about AU$1,000 (during two weeks or around), but I lost way more money in online casinos. This is normal for me. I know that I will lose and have no illusion about great winnings at all.
Some time I just felt like asking if someone has lost lots of money on a casino and eventually had a big win which can not be compared to what they have lost, any need to showing result? Just like the same thing you are trying to pass to us. Many of us had lost big funds in different gambling just like myself, but may decide to focus on winning more before disclosing it to anyone.
In gambling its normal to have more losses than winning. If you happen to win huge amount that can surpassed your losses then you're lucky. But we have a choice to keep it to ourselves and not to disclose it since we also dont know if someone will believe us without showing a proof, so I think its not necessary. What matter is we enjoy what we do and can cope up with losses.
2636  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 17, 2022, 02:09:14 AM
You know what I have learned from the last year up to now? Don't panic. That's the main lesson that gets me through trigger-happy selling. And I'm not saying that you need to be one of those crypto preachers that yell from the top of their lungs not to sell, hodl forever, and such bullshit. It's not that, it's just the fact that if you miss out on one opportunity, that doesn't mean another won't present itself sometime in the future. Patience is key here, so don't dwell on missed opportunities, look forward to new ones.
Indeed. There's a perfect timing to profit so we need to be more patient and dont let the past failed experience affect us on our future decision.

Last year's experience for me is quite good, I made a huge profit for taking advantage the season to take profit. For this year I plan to be more careful and do my best to set aside my emotions when making decision because its not easy to control.

I will follow the same plan and strategy that I did last year but it will depend on the movement of the coins because it can be different this time.

2637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: January 17, 2022, 01:35:19 AM
hello everyone i want to ask that investing in new projects has worth or not because to many scams projects now a days and i am afraid of losing money.
Many scam projects are existing nowadays and majority of them are newly launch. Its worth to invest if the project has potential and could be a gem, however its not going to be easy finding such project because even scam can look legit. Thats why we need to conduct an extensive research to find a hidden gem on new projects.

i wanna invest in octafarm.fi and this project looks really amazing and unique and the team looks professional what you guys think about this i need suggestions may be you guys know better than me.
Whitepaper: https://octafarm.fi/whitepaper.pdf
Website: https://octafarm.fi/
Just DYOR, thats how you'll get the answer.
Anyway this is your first post and it looks like you're just shilling the octafarm. So im thinking you're part of the team and just want to spread awareness here about your project.
2638  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: January 16, 2022, 05:17:44 AM

You do not have to play every single game that you see. If your funds are not enough to gamble, then you should not risk it at all. Even if your funds are "enough" to gamble, if you do not have more than enough then you should avoid it. I usually gamble with 20-30 cents per bet in the places I gamble, rarely ever do 1 dollar per bet but if I have to then I do it, but never more.

I do not care if there is a huge better amazing game out there, if it requires me to gamble more than I am comfortable with then I do not gamble it. You should focus on that, the game could be great and you might get a lot more fun with it but in the end if you end up with absolutely nothing then there is nothing wrong with avoiding it.

Yes I have gambled for a long time so I understand how to place it I also understand how to adjust the balance with the game I choose if I play a high risk game, of course I have prepared enough balance. For example hacksaw provider is quite familiar with this provider some of the games are my favorites one of them Frutz  this is my highest multiplier so far https://imgur.com/FjWjPlU i got it on the first bet strangely I'm not addicted to playing it because I know the risk is high.
As long as you can control yourself then its not a problem because its your money, and as a gambler we are aware of the risk and prepared whatever the outcome is.

Its not easy to win and hit a high multiplier in slots so everytime I feel that its not a lucky day for me (for having consecutive losses), I will try the games requiring skills for a change. Then switch back again depending on the mood and in my budget.  Grin
2639  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 16, 2022, 04:49:38 AM
An hour ago Roobet also shared a big win from the Gate of Olympus slot bet of 2,460x multiplier Roobet never forgets that every user with a big win will definitely be exposed on his Twitter.

It's not a strong bet for me above $1  ;Dbut they are pretty lucky too.

Even though Gate of Olympus is a lot of favorites.
They usually shares big wins of Twitter account as shared by me to promote the casino and tell small gamblers there's always hope for them Grin

Like recently they have shared this one :https://twitter.com/Roobet/status/1481536501385031680?t=icY76WvvST3PJPexwc1HWA&s=19 in which player won $7k with small bet of over $1 and that's impressive but the player was lucky.
Showing big wins can really attract players. Well, I envy those gamblers who won a huge amount with small bet. Sometimes it got me to try my luck as well playing the specific game they managed to win. Same fate cant come for everyone, but who knows right? So keep trying but lets keep in mind that its gambling so luck is necessary in order to win.
2640  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 16, 2022, 04:12:33 AM
This may look attractive but I agree that you should know your limit and don’t borrow money for any gambling activities. Well, I hope Rollbit promotes good relationship with the gamblers considering this update, I hope they don’t encourage gamblers to borrow money that easily. This still a good update though and the first one for a crypto gambling site, such a good privilege for the holders of Rollbot.
You should never borrow if you are not in need of those amounts as this is great move from the Rollbit side but if you take undue advantage of it then it's completely wrong because in the end it will affect you adversely. You take a loan from the bank then can't repay it then they will sell your mortgage and claim that amount but who's responsible on this part? Think wisely and take advantage in postive direction.
Actually its not different if you borrow on banks or other lending companies. They will ask for collateral and its up to you whether you still want to pay the loan or give up the collateral as your payment, if you choose the latter then the company will benefited from it.

This new feature of Rollbit is meant for NFT holders, they can take advantage the offer if they're in need of money and repay it later on.

Its a good move for Rollbit because they can also help their gamblers (who are in need of money) by having their own 7 days NFT loans feature without fees and charge.
