Wundert mich auch ein bisschen dass hier noch keiner einen Gruppenkauf aufgemacht hat. Die Versandkosten sind ja schon heftig und der Rollenrabatt ist auch nicht zu verachten.
Da ich mir keine Rolle leisten kann warte ich zur Zeit einfach ab. Ich denke über kurz oder lang wird der Preis für physische Coins sinken da vermehrt Anbieter auf den Markt drängen.
Die coins von der Erstausgabe habe ich schon Ende Juli bekommen (bin aber in UK).

Nur mal am Rande: zur Zeit gibt es auf Btct.co DMS.Mining (5Mhs per share) für 0.0048 BTC das sind ca 0.32BTC für 330Mhs (USB Asic) bzw 0.96 BTC für 1GHs und das ganze ohne Stromkosten oder Lieferzeit. Wer da die USB dinger für 0.6 BTC zum minen kauft ist selber Schuld

Heisst aber auch das Casascius seinen Gewinn pro Muenze fast verdreifacht hat

Ok ich hab mal genau nachgerechnet
Smoothies coins kosten (in der Rolle) 38.7 LTC fuer die 10er und 56.7 fuer die 25er, der Wert inkl Silber ist ca. 14 LTC fuer die 10er und 33LTC fuer die 25er

also 38.7/ 14 = 2.7 facher Preis = 170% Aufpreis
und 56.7/ 33 = 1.7 facher Preis = 70% Aufpreis

Bei Casascius in der Rolle sinds
1.3 / (0.5+0.1) = 2.1 (0.5er) = 110% Aufpreis
und 1.9 / (1+0.2) = 1.6 (1er) = 60% Aufpreis

Hab mal Versandkosten ignoriert, grosszuegig gerundet und mit einfachen Werten gerechnet (1oz Silber = 8LTC = 0.2 BTC). Damit sind die Casascius coins etwas guenstiger.
Zum Vergleich die alten Preise (Messingmuenzen):
1 BTC fuer ca 1.26 (26% Aufpreis)
0.5 BTC fuer ca 0.76 (52% Aufpreis)

na die LTCs von smoothie sind ja noch teurer

Hoffentlich gibts bald mal ein wenig Konkurrenz mit physischen Coins dass die aktuellen Anbieter mal wieder zu realistischen Preisen zuruekkehren...

No it doesn't. It was a bubble and you won't see those prices again in the near future imo. And of course the difficulty goes up a longer time already.
People back then bought because of the good news (new hashpower) ignoring the fundamental facts.

What does Basic-Mining have? If you value the 1Ths with 2000 BTC (which is high) and round the cash up to 2000BTC (almost doubled) Basic has a value of 4000 BTC which is less than 0.1 BTC/share.

(Let me know if I made a mistake here.)

With the difficulty skyrocketing Basic and similar securities will go down deeper (imo).

Well, error coins are still available for 43 LTC.

If somebody is willing to do it I'd donate 0.5LTC. Lets say one requires about 25-30LTC donations in order to do it (10LTC in the coin + silver value), then we need 50-60 donators of 0.5LTC.

A few redemptions are in everyones interest, otherwise we'll never know what smoothie has hidden behind that hologram *g*.

PMB - Perpetual mining Bond

Kann man verstehen als virtuelle Bitcoin mining hardware. Zum Beispiel TAT.Virtualmine zahlt taeglich eine Dividende aus die dem entspricht was man mit 1Mhs minen kann. Wenn man also 330 TAT.Virtualmines besitzt dann bekommt man taeglich soviele Bitcoins als Dividende wie ein USB-ASIC minen kann (und das ohne Strom- oder Wartungskosten).
Auf den ersten Blick sieht das nach einem guten Geschaeft aus weil die Dividende relativ hoch ist (ca. 0.5% pro Tag). Da aber aktuell durch die Weiterentwicklung von ASICS die Difficulty stark ansteigt, sinkt hier die Dividende nach jedem Difficultyanstieg teilweise deutlich.

das klingt eher nach einem PMB, so wie TAT.Virtualmine das taeglich die Miningeinahmen von 1Mhs auszahlt...

also wer zu dem Preis kauft dem ist entweder nicht mehr zu helfen oder der braucht die Muenze unbedingt sofort

So your experience (apart from real stocks markets) is basically 2 months investing on Btct. Then your funds was founded last week and I'd say you had an excellent week since then.

Still this is no proof of experience. All the best for you and your funds, but I'd definitely suggest for interested investors to follow this for a few weeks before investing.
