2621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: December 21, 2020, 02:59:55 PM
I am also guilty of selling some Bitcoin.
Why? I was really tempted by the huge number.
Also, my wife just keeps on bugging me about buying new appliances for the house.
Of course, she knows I have bitcoins stacked in my wallet and she also checks the exchange.  Grin

Well, I made her happy, and now her mouth is zipped tight.  Grin
I can go back into keeping more.
2622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 21, 2020, 11:53:02 AM
Paired with Chris Paul, Paired with Westbrook = fail.

Rockets are choking because of James Harden. The Rockets should consider trading him. John Wall's talent is wasted here. He needs a good tandem, and that's not James Harden. Smiley
It was almost a success with CP3.
It's just that he got hit by a bad injury. They could've really won that game against GSW.
But like you said, Harden choked at that time without CP3 playing. Cheering him won't help either.

Where is stadus?
Is it time to open the other thread for NBA betting?  Grin
I miss looking at all the bets there that somehow helps me decide on my choices.
Edit: Oh sorry, so it was open already, just buried with a lot of threads in gambling.  Wink

This looks like an updated article.
https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/who-accepts-bitcoin/
You might want to try it.

But please do check it first since I haven't tried some of the services there.
Also, if you want a better answer please provide more information like the country that you prefer to use it.
Although I really doubt you are going to spend it with the nonstop pump.
2624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the top 5 ALTS you held in 2020 on: December 20, 2020, 04:52:56 PM
Ethereum - this one is on the brink of being sold.  Grin I need my profits.
XRP - For fast transactions.
BNB - for cheaper trading in Binance.

That sums it up.
My other coins are not really on the top and there is not much movement yet.
I guess I will just keep that for now. If I am going to sell them then, it's just ROI, and I hate that.  Wink
2625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 20, 2020, 03:08:21 PM
Then Lakers and Nuggets at the Finals again?  Wink
The West doesn't excite me anymore to be honest because you can see which team (Lakers in this case) will dominate so yeah it is on Lakers as usual. What is more intriguing to predict is which team will win in the East. I'm still rooting for Bucks but the logics are opposite — Brooklyn is waving.
I am more interested with the West, I believe Lakers has a big chance of winning in the West but I don't think they'll dominate.
We have the Nuggets, they'll improve, the Clippers which will bounce back and the GSW which I think will be a surprise this season.
Yeah, we have different interests here.  Grin
I guess it may also affect which team we are rooting for.
West, I'm with Nuggets.
From 1-3 to win against the Clippers is also exciting right? We don't see much of that comebacks anymore

East I am with just going to watch them. (maybe Miami).  Grin
Rooting for those kids to come back and try the Finals again. But it's going to be a rough road.

Fishy. That's all I could say.
You are trying to gamble using our money. We will be the ones at risk here and not you.
I am glad that you have an optimistic attack but it's overly positive which becomes more difficult to believe in.
Just like what they always say.
It's too good to be true.
Anyway, good luck. I hope you find some customers. I think this should be in the services area and not here.
For those who want to try, just be careful providing too much information.
2627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 20, 2020, 07:14:55 AM
^ @OP, maybe this is just your feeling. DeFi transactions are still very large, this makes ETH gas fees very high. what you mean is dead maybe just a saturated market, maybe many investors are moving to Bitcoin because the price of Bitcoin is rising.
It's not so high as it was before. Defi is not dead yet but it not getting the type again. People are still prefer investing their money into the legit coin like bitcoin or the new ICO coin like the graph.
the pump will always become the main thing that can attract the buyers to move from the old place.
I have been hearing a lot about that Graph (GRT) thing here and on social media.
Is it really a damn ICO?  Grin Coz all I know is ICO doesn't get that much attention anymore.
Hoping it's not just another hype and stays for good.

Back to DeFi. I agree with bitkanu, it's not dead. It's there but not getting the attention it needs because all eyes are on Bitcoin now.
Maybe after everything calms down then we could focus back on other projects under DeFi.
2628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 20, 2020, 03:59:10 AM
That's the common term used when back then.
A time when there's no option but to sell bitcoin thru different altcoins.

But now it had changed when Tether was created which has 1:1 ratio stable coins against USD.
So, why pick the side with a higher risk than the stable one?
Somehow it saves time also, you don't need to wait for an altcoin pump. Just the BTC dump.
2629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 20, 2020, 01:37:50 AM
But Denver Nuggets will be the champion this year.  Cheesy
Let us not conclude it yet, just kiddin'  Tongue. I'm still up for my guy, Bron, this year  Cheesy.
Haha, you got me there.
Then Lakers and Nuggets at the Finals again?  Wink
I will also will vote for him.
No disrespect to Coach Vogel of the Lakers but Erik Spoelstra did an awesome job this year taking the young players into a Finals experience.
Now, they have something to boast about.  Grin That's not an easy task considering they are also in the bubble.
2630  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 19, 2020, 06:51:07 PM
The volatility will be the risk factor.
What if you cannot pay the loan in time because of waiting for the value of BTC to grow again?
Being caught in a bad wave could punish you a lot. Stressing you on how you will pay and then you will loan more just to patch things up.
You don't want to be in that kind of situation.
I'd rather make my own money working with blood and sweat rather than having a debt with loan sharks.
2631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will we ever get another 7th Jan 2018 Alt Season? on: December 19, 2020, 04:42:35 PM
I doubt we will have the same kind of event again.
Why?
Stablecoins. i.e. USDT
Before that is created, traders would usually exchange their Bitcoins for Altcoin which is the reason for a sudden pump in the altcoin industry.
It had been 2 years already and a lot of pumps and dumps happened with Bitcoin and yet we still don't see alts soaring.
That's my only reason for the dead to not rise again.
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 19, 2020, 02:31:01 PM
i cant think of pros but i can think of con that you havent listed . that is its boring to wait because predicting is not instant as the regular gambling .
Same issue with me.
I can't think of any pros about it.
Almost all gamblers are short-tempered. Grin I don't think it will work.

It does work with known sports though like NBA, NFL, Soccer, etc..
Since there will always be an end to every season.
But cryptocurrencies predicting? Hmmm..
It may not be a good business to handle, not with gamblers.
2633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will there be a correction? on: December 19, 2020, 11:41:26 AM
Yes.
They call it correction but sometimes you can just say it is a dump.  Grin
Nothing is supposed to be corrected but someone needs to sell to make some profit.

It's just difficult to identify when it will be. It can happen slowly or in an instant.
Be careful on selling though, that correction might not happen so soon.
2634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't wait for the market, start selling in parts! on: December 19, 2020, 10:25:22 AM
Selling in parts means you are still losing your precious Bitcoin or altcoin.
You are not gaining by doing this.
Then, you will be in doubt to buy again since the price is getting higher. It had always been a risk since day 1.
You sell now, you might miss the big boat. Regrets will follow and the fear of missing out which will force you to buy at a higher price.
Now, is it still profit?
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 19, 2020, 06:59:15 AM
GSW I believe won't make the cut even if they have brought it Kelly Oubre as well as James Wiseman into the team, they have a huge improvement on the SG spot but don't forget that they are overpaying Wiggins for his Andre Iguodala performance. Aside from that we are talking about the Western Conference here where all the top teams compete where even having a positive Win-Loss ration in that conference won't make the cut. If they won't have Klay Thompson back this season I won't see them in the playoffs.
Let's not conclude it yet.
The regular season has not even started. The roster is good compared to other Western teams.
If they will play hard or the chemistry will work then wins can be achieved.
The 6th - 8th playoffs spot won't be that bad, and if they can snatch the first round then it will be sweeter.  Grin

But Denver Nuggets will be the champion this year.  Cheesy
2636  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will be the next target of bitcoin in initially of 2021 ? on: December 18, 2020, 07:01:19 PM
I'll take $30k as reality rather than $500k and 1M.  Grin
We could see it accumulates a large amount in just a manner of time but there is always a limit to it.
When it breaks an amount that is difficult to buy then demands will be slower.
This takes it to another year of slow pace volatility.
It happened this year at around 7k-9k and it stayed there for quite some time.
I think next year will be a fight for breaking $30k until December 2021.
2637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long will go Bitcoin? on: December 18, 2020, 05:29:13 PM
As I said in one thread before, it might not go beyond $25k. 23k might be its limit for this year.
But, it would be better if we see a bottom of $20k and not less.

Altcoin pumps? Nah, I don't think we will see one unless traders began using them again.
USDT is the most commonly used as a pair but there is no volatility with a stable coin.
So, it would be better not to expect much with whatever altcoin you are holding.
2638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 18, 2020, 02:38:46 PM
Currently, Jrue Holiday is their starting PG and DJ Augustin is their 2nd option.
Yeah, but I don't really see Jrue as a playmaker but Augustin does.
They might still be keeping it this pre-season. Let's see what Mike Budenholzer would do.

More like someone needs some money.
Post-pandemic problems maybe?  Grin
I think Stephen Curry is finally back! he has some monstrous performance in the 3rd quarter earlier and they manage to beat the Kings in the preseason matchup.
Let's hope his consistency will come out.
No Klay means he will shoulder a huge offensive attack.
2639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about DeFi? on: December 18, 2020, 08:46:28 AM
Golden opportunity.  Grin
It's not that far of a difference with ICO's back then.
New tokens being created almost every day. Some are scam attempts and some are real.
It's difficult to define anymore which one will be a successful project.

For me, it's just the same with a different name.
Just be careful what you will invest out there. It's a damn jungle.
2640  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 Profit competition 0.5+ BTC prizes ENDS TODAY on: December 18, 2020, 06:09:06 AM
You would think that with the higher wagering volume during competitions that profit for investors would be up. We've seen in two straight competitions that this is not the case. My theory is that people who participate in competitions tend to be more experienced gamblers and they know how to maximize their potential profit.
Yeah. It's the risk of investing in a gambling site.
But, I am happy for all the gamblers. We cannot deny they are also risking the same thing just like the investors.
Hopefully, they will continue playing the game and join all the competitions here.

I really thought they will calm down and just let the BTC price surge calm down.
