This next halving will bring even more centralization to the table. We ll have to invest into other options related to BTC, like tokens and smart contract projects.
Mining, well, having a small rig at home can satisfy ones need to call themselves a miner but cloud, that seems to be a history.

Until companies like BTM will provide cloud service - it will be popular and somehow rewarding

I do not speak about clowns like genesis, sweden crap etc

Pure Chinese power, full ignore and disrespect to customers - but at the end of the day with right difficulties and BTC/USD rate you will end  up with the profit

The problem is they have no interest in providing profitable cloud anymore. They ve got so much money that farms and expansion of farms is self sustainable. Why play with cloud and letting someone else profit? The only way is not to let cloud customers have profit and only let them pay for your gear.
2642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whether in your country bitcoin already allowed to use? on: May 28, 2016, 05:41:56 AM
Why would it be allowed? As far as I know, it s been banned only in non democratic and barbaric countries.

Excellent. Great to see that. Cryptopia still no word?
2644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can so many new alts affect of dilute Bitcoin investments? on: May 28, 2016, 04:51:56 AM
Heh, BTC seems to be increasing in price. Maybe that negates my question.
2645  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Touched $500 just now on: May 28, 2016, 04:50:21 AM
Meh, it seems to me just like another pump. Simply does not look as a beginning of a trend. It s still 30 days too early.
2646  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Greatest amount you have lost on a Ponzi? on: May 28, 2016, 04:48:11 AM
NONE for the last 3-4 years. I ve been very careful with that big time after I lost a few bucks during my early internet investment phase where I played some HYIPs. After that, I ve learned to ask questions before I invest. Who, what, where and what collateral. If I do not get answers, I pass on this.
2647  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: May 28, 2016, 04:31:15 AM
I cant find anything about this. Did it take place. If it did, link pls.

Here you go, my friend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5SKOtzIfx4

Ohoho, nice hash. Still, I think the only ones profiting will be them. Cloud mining s nearly dead.

Was already, since the huge diff increase started. Let's see what happens after the S9 release.

Too late to sell now. Keep holding and wait for M2. Let us hope it ll propel Factom where it should be.

Heh, Sheldon Cooper in Bitcoin world. Do you people have to be nerds at all times?

2652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can so many new alts affect of dilute Bitcoin investments? on: May 27, 2016, 05:53:57 PM
Nah I don't think, bitcoin will still remain the most popular. In past few months many new alt coins have come but I hardly know or care to know any of them, maybe only eth, which has been somewhat popular but still can't get as much attention as bitcoin.

What about Factom, Lisk and starting tomorrow, DAO? True, these re mostly tokens but still, the principle is the same.
2653  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: May 27, 2016, 05:52:17 PM
I think the smartest way is to hold for the remaining 53 days till the halving. After that, I d select a few nice and profitable alts and buy those. If u know the market and u invest smart, u can double that amount easily. Word of advice, never hold all of your BTC in the same basket.

Wait, wait. So he does not pay and if you report him, he ll post all your personal info online and you will the one who s guilty?Huh

Damn, LTCgear, all over again.

People, sorry for your loss.
2656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 27, 2016, 03:47:32 PM
oh my merkle tree!! I think Factom is rising from the ashes  Roll Eyes

I ll get back, no doubt there. But this will be the same level, the one from yesterday. For a more serious growth, we need M2.
2657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 27, 2016, 11:46:03 AM
Well, we ve waited this long, why not wait for a couple more weeks tops.
2658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can so many new alts affect of dilute Bitcoin investments? on: May 27, 2016, 11:21:19 AM
it can affect peoples view of crypto currency

I know someone that lost alot of money trying new currencies
and they all went down or failed. He finally gave up on it all

+1 to this. If people lose money or get scammed after investing into some alt, there re much less prone towards getting back to BTC.
2659  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Crowdfunding: The Re-Opening of BitcoinStarter.com on: May 27, 2016, 11:19:37 AM
Always welcome these kind of projects. However, unless you re ready to spend massive amount of money on advertising, this is not going to work. There re too many similar websites and projects and in order to have visitors, you need to advertise. A lot.
2660  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: May 27, 2016, 10:24:13 AM
I'll believe it when I see it. Although there will only be 12.5 new coins minted every 10 minutes, there will still be the supply of over 15 million coins already accumulated. That supply won't halve too.

So S9 should be released this Friday by Peking time Smiley

Nice, any data about this new miner? What the hash?
