2641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Daytrading Diary (from 0.0354 to the moon!) on: November 21, 2017, 08:51:00 AM
So, I started daytrading officially yesterday (I did some trials last week.) My strategy is to hold two altcoins until they are sold for 2% more than buying price.
Nice target for profits, not too big and not too small that it will eat up by transaction fees. I suggest that you post at least a screen grab of your trades, just blur those parts that are sensitive. This will also motivate those who wants to start with trading but are too afraid because they thought they cant start with just a small amount of money.

nice site but now faucets are not good
Come on you cant just play all day with free money. Nothing is free nowadays and besides those faucets in gambling sites are added not to be abused, it just to let you see and feel how the site works. After testing you can make a deposit. It should work both ways and not only on way. Other sites cant even offer it while Bitsler is generous enough to let new players play with money coming from faucet.
2643  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: November 21, 2017, 02:16:27 AM
Why bittrex do not respect to customer rights? some of ur account is banned for more that 41 days! and u donot response them!
Did you follow the instruction that was sent to your email that is attached to Bittrex? Much better if you create a support ticket and follow up every day. They dont respond in this forum.

Bittrex have now started trading Bitcoin Gold. Did not see any announcment on there web site (other than the old BTG announcment) about this.
Good news is that they have honoured the fork promise and I got my equvalent BTG even though I had with withdrawn my Bitcoin a few days after the fork.
Good for you, you were able to receive your BTG. I don't know what happened but as far as I remember I still have balance when Bittrex taken a snap shot of everyone balance but I didn't receive a single BTG today.
2644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: November 20, 2017, 04:17:08 PM
I would recommend chasing the pump, let those whales pump what you have. Look for those that not yet pumped for the past 3 days or more and look for the lowest price for the past week. Use those tools like RSI and Bollinger Bands. While its good to buy coins or token that have high volume, you might want to consider also those with low volume.
2645  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: November 20, 2017, 09:27:23 AM
Not disappointed with trading, but I am sometimes disappointed with myself when trading. I don't follow the rules that I set before buying or selling. The FOMO is always hitting me and buying by impulse without even checking if coin is already oversold or overbought. After buying, that's the time I realize I should have checked if its the peak already or not.

Anyone having problems with receiving the 14-digit e-give cash code? I requested for cash out around 12pm today and till now wala pa rin dumadating na 14-digit e-give cash code. Yung 4-digit code meron na nasend sa email. I tried sending a message through their support chat pero no response. i also tried calling their number, same thing, no response.
its been a month since nung una kong narinig na nagkaka problema na nga ngayon ang egive cash out. and na-experience ko din sya nung unang beses kong narinig un. kaya simula nun di na talaga ako gumamit ng egive cash out, so suggest ko lang wag mo nalang muna gamitin ang cash out method na un kasi medyo malala na ung problema nila sa egive.
I was able to cash out pa last Saturday using e-give cash din and I didnt encounter any problem pero ngayon lang ulit ako nagkaproblem with egc function of Coins.ph and nakakainis pa wala man lang sumasagot sa chat nila kahit sa phone. Baka pag nagkataon susugod na ulit ako sa office nila sa Ortigas. Dinaman kalakihan ang Cash Out pero hassle na eh. may pag gagamitan kasi.

2648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Equipment for trading on: November 20, 2017, 06:27:23 AM
Hey people,

Just wanted to know which set up is the best for trading, because i need to get a new laptop and really thinking about going for a macbook.
Trading is not possible with a Ipad Pro.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Greetings

If you plan to be a day trader that requires you to monitor you investment most of the time, get a good desktop and a fast internet connection. time is important with day traders. But if you plan to trade long term, a decent laptop will do and a good Wifi connection is fine, you can even go with a tablet or ipad since after you buy, youll check check the price from time to time with no rush of selling right away.
2649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Check for an ICO Hype on: November 20, 2017, 03:45:15 AM
With all these ICOs popping up like mushrooms all looking very similar, things can get overwhelmingly confusing.

One pattern I noticed was that the bigger the hype, the larger the return is.

How do you guys check an ICO's hype?

Personally, I do the following:

- Check bitcointalk announcement page
- Check ICO FB page and look at engagement (likes can be bought so not really useful)
- Check Youtube and filter by viewcount

Any other tips?

I agree with checking feedback in Bitcointalk announcement and also look at Reddit for any Subforum about the ICO, but for the Likes in the FB pages and Youtube, those likes can be bought to make it appear theres a lot of interest in the ICO.

Include there the following:

-Read their WHITEPAPER
-See if they have Roadmaps
-Background Check the people behind it
-See if their product is promising

Research thoroughly before you participate in ICO's.

You hit the bulls eye on this those 4, white paper is a must. It should be written professionally and easy to understand. The 4th item is the first thing that would be investor should scrutinize, is the project promising or its just another project copied from another project with a little twist example are those debit cards.
2650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: November 20, 2017, 03:33:54 AM
Both Bitcoin and Altcoins are good investment. Its good to set aside funds for Bitcoin and Alts. If you have $1,000 to invest in Cryptos, I suggest set aside 60% to Altcoins and 40% to Bitcoin. You'll be surprised to see that your profits with investing in Alts are bigger than Bitcoin. There are times Altcoin price moves more than Bitcoins.
2651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: November 19, 2017, 05:03:37 PM
Definitely not. Traditional banks have their own target market and they also have other ways to earn money aside from usual deposits. Bitcoin have their own market as well. An investor may chose to invest money in traditional bank because of low risk and in fear of Bitcoin losing its value while others may select Bitcoin because of high gain but higher risk.
2652  Economy / Speculation / Re: SW2x cancelation will crash Bitcoin on: November 18, 2017, 03:46:07 PM
When there's a hard fork, expect that Bitcoin price will soar and thats what happen prior to cancellation but after new breakout about the cancelation, price dropped a little but remains bullish, it was BCH started to pull up when price of BTC slowly goes down but it didnt last long when BTC begins to climb again and broke another ATH. So, it's the other way around as I see it, after the segwit2x cancellation not as OP claims.
2653  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Many Bittrex accounts were hacked on: November 18, 2017, 11:48:59 AM
Hi guys,

What doing in situation when bittrex account was hacked via email? Lot of peoples were hacked today, hacker attacked their mails first and then bittrex. F2A was enebled as well. In these cases there was not phishing webpage. Have Bittrex insurance for these cases or not?

I don't think Bittrex provides insurance to this kind of cases when an account is allegedly hacked. It is the users responsibility to protect his own account. Bittrex on the other hand can offer options to secure your account like 2FA and they also recently added the new ip address log in where you have to log in using the link sent to your email in case when your account is logged in using a different ip address.
2654  Economy / Lending / Re: Suggestions for newbies w/ no collateral: asking at risk of eye rolls/snark on: November 18, 2017, 11:42:55 AM
how can a newbie who has no collateral establish some kind of credibility for lenders?
If you have no collateral to offer theres a very low chance or zero for your loan request to be filled. Its like you are a new kid in town and all of a sudden you started knocking on someones door asking for money. Dont expect them to give you the money you are asking for.

Aside from paying a higher interest rate, what can a newbie do to at least get a second glance or further consideration? ID? Paystubs? A formal contract? Nothing at all?
What you mentioned and I highlighted is not acceptable form of collateral or form of security that you will pay back. Here's a link of what to offer as collateral when asking for a loan https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.msg6311902#msg6311902
2655  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: November 18, 2017, 06:19:54 AM
I wouldn't do that if I were you. While Bitcoin or crypto currencies can be easily liquidated even at a lower price, you still need to maintain an amount of fiat that you can use in case of emergency without touching your investment in Bitcoins or Cryptos. There are times when you need immediate cash and try to cash out your investment in cryptos, you will encounter errors or delays and sometimes price and timing is not good for cryptos to be sold.

2658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: November 17, 2017, 02:53:03 AM
While others are saying its hard to tell when to sell and when to keep holding I say just follow your target. If upon buying alts or BTC, start planning or set a target on when to Sell. If you didn't do this its like setting up a business without a goal. You need to achieve something and you cant achieve anything if you don't know if you already did because you failed to set a goal for your self. Set a target on when to sell and don't forget to use stop loss in case price drops drastically.
2659  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Will this transaction ever get confirmed? on: November 17, 2017, 12:57:01 AM
I sent this to a new address and it's been a few days and I don't see any confirmations:

https://blockchain.info/tx/62daa3f00b9c17857f29eb0ebf1df598b2c122f33228059e1fd46be18bf133db

How can I know when the transaction will be confirmed?
Try to use a transaction accelerator if the transaction is stuck for more than 24 hours. You can use either viabtc or bitmains to broadcast that transaction. Below are the links.

2660  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From 0.1 to 1 BTC in 6 months with Day-Trading on: November 17, 2017, 12:45:49 AM
I don't think that BCC has a high price right now.
We all know that the recent climb of Bitcoin Cash is due to the failed attempt to unseat Bitcoin in the #1 spot meaning it was just pumped by a group so expect that BCC price will continue to drop in the next coming days specially now that Bitcoin is near or passed $8,000, its not a good day to trade alts regardless if you are a day trader or not.
