Weekly update. yahoo62278 and SaltySpitoon earned a lot of merits and now have more than 2000 merits. Good work!  This week Coolcryptovator has received enough merits to rank up to Legendary but does not have sufficient activity. DroomieChikito, KTChampions, Lakai01 and tyKiwanuka who are active in Indonesian, Russian and German local boards respectively have been promoted to Hero Members. Ratimov who is active in the Russian local board has also earned enough merits to reach this level, but he does not yet have sufficient activity. AlcoHoDL is a new Sr. Member. JohnSilver, omer-jamal, efialtis and Soonandwaite who are active in Russian, Arabic and German local boards respectively have also achieved the same position. There is no doubt newbies could become legendary one day.
There is theoretically no doubt that this is possible, but in practice, it is a different story. Previous ranking system (before merits) had only one key component, it was time (activity), and a new one is added in addition to the activity extra component in the form of merits that serve as some kind of voting system which should only allow you to advance in the ranks if you are recognized by the community as a member who deserves it. There are individuals who are definitely exceptions to the others, but 1000 earned merits is something which so far is achieved by a very few forum users. I don't want anyone to be discouraged with these facts, but the system is set up to reward the best and the most persistent users. Anyone can one day become Legendary, it is only a matter of time and effort. S***...  I thought I would create another motivational thread about my journey from zero to Senior (HERO?! ) and this would get me enough Merits so I can just sit and wait! |

Kurzes Update meinerseits an dieser Stelle: Bin mit der Coinbase Card an sich immer noch sehr zufrieden, hat nie Probleme gemacht und schon cool, dass die Kryptos erst bei tatsächlicher Benutzung automatisch umgetauscht werden. Ein bisschen nervig ist die Tatsache, dass ich bei Coinbase seit einigen Monaten weiterhin nicht mehr via Bank/KK einzahlen kann, was aber nichts mit der Karte an sich zu tun hat.

(and Loycemobile who doesn't count - no offence LoyceV  )I haven't interacted with him practically at all, so am hesitant to nominate him without support/seconder. Indeed Ratimov registered this year. I am giving him my nomination. He's a real go-getter, and while I don't speak Russian, I value the contributions he's made in English (scam busting, identifying alts, etc). @efialtis can't really do much . In bitcointalk and betting forums things are good so I guess the majority are aware now but all of 1xbit's traffic isn't coming from the forums twitter is full of accounts who are promoting them and posting how nice the odds are , affiliate websites are promoting them heavily as well and ranking them as the best crypto site they even used to have ads in coinmarketcap and now they have plenty of ads in crypto related websites only thing that can save people is doing some research and hopefully one of these topics will show up for them

this one is being promoted really heavily now , haven't researched it honestly but some of the friends mentioned it now I see that it does belong to the same company lol , so it seems owners of these scams just keeps making new sites Their ads are everywhere indeed, its crazy! How shady can a business be... They had me also do translations for a clone called "favbet", which seems to be up and running as well... And the guy who hired me (I really dont know his exact role) - not sure if he is one of the partners, if he is the owner, if he is just a service provider - has a history with other sites such as sekabet, too. And even more interesting - he used to do many fiat/crypto exchanges in person with members of the German forum here on bitcointalk. Its just all very confusing. What matters is that hopefully bitcointalk members wont fall for them... |

Mafia actually seems to be the right word - sort of... Several bitcointalk members I know have been scammed by 1xbit/1xbet...
We could start some kind of "witch hunt" if we wanted but I am not so sure it will be any helpful. When I signed up here on bitcointalk, I got to know someone who hired me for translations. After some time and after googling my translations, I found out they were being posted on 1xbit.com. At that point, I wasnt too sceptical, I didnt really know them and the guy seemed nice always paid on time. Then they hired me for additional translations --> other online bookies (I could tell the name) and it seems, they are just a huge group running many many different online bookies/casinos etc. - and not only online, I even translated contents for offline betting terminals etc.
Well, then I learned about people being scammed by 1xbit, made some research and also researched the user who hired me here on bitcointalk... it is just all very strange. When confronting him about all that, he stopped responding of course...

Moin Männer, was ich mir wünschen würde - einen Bereich wo wir ANNs posten können, die nicht wirklich was mit irgendwelchen Alt (SHIT) Coins zu tun haben. Ich berichte bekanntlich gerne über aktuelle Promos bei irgendwelchen Bookies und/oder erstelle ANNs für andere Krypto-Services - mit meinem jugendlichen Leichtsinn habe ich sowas bislang im Projektentwicklungsbereich geposted --> hatte damals auch phantastisch kontaktiert aber nie ne Antwort bekommen. Zugegeben - so richtig passt es da nicht rein, andererseits finde ich so derzeit auch keinen passenderen Bereich und off-topic ist es halt auch nicht, hat es doch sehr wohl was mit Dienstleistern im Krypto-Bereich zu tun.
