2641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you spending or hodling? (a poll to summarize previous threads) on: August 14, 2014, 06:02:14 PM
I think this needs a bump due to the recent sell off this week.

Anyone new want to share their input into this poll?

Has sentiment changed? Are people who were hodling now selling for some reason? If you're selling, what's driving the decision?

Thanks

PrimeDice has employed you to advertise for them, so yes they are your employer.

EdenDice's opinion is all that matters. You should consider yourself luck to be able to get paid from two conflicting campaigns. I wouldn't want my ad campaign promoter advertising for the competitor - do you think the Chief Marketing Officer for Coke drinks Pepsi (and gets paid for it) in public?

I'm running the campaign on behalf of EdenDice. I'm enrolled on PrimeDice's signature campaign personally, they're not related in any way.

And that is pretty unprofessional. It's like you are playing for Manchester United and you are wearing Arsenal's shirt around the town. Well, good luck with your campaign Smiley

Many footballers play for a different team but support another, so your analogy isn't really valid. And I'm not contracted to only Primedice. I choose to advertise them and run this campaign, both of which I can do.

You can support privately anyone you want but professionally you have to stick to the team you have contract with. That's the definition of professionalism and it doesn't have to do anything with my analogy because it is definition.

Usually it means that someone doesn't take their job seriously. I am not talking just about you, but about EdenDice too. Costumers won't like the fact that there is no loyalty in this campaign. And I don't think Stunna would like that one of "his people" is working for another dice site. Or maybe he will, depends on marketing strategy but never mind, he is not losing anything with this, EdenDice is.

Yes, and I'm personally supporting Primedice and 'professionally' running this campaign. And that isn't the definition of professionalism but your opinion. Plus, I don't have a contract with PrimeDice nor are they my employer, so again, invalid. If Stunna wants me to remove the signature I will, but out of loyalty I'd rather stick with advertising them in my personal signature if I can and merely operate this campaign, both of which I feel I can do as I'm supporting both campaigns in different ways. Before I accepted this campaign I told EdenDice that I'd been with PrimeDice from the start and would rather stick with their signature in my personal space if I could. He agreed. If the people that this concerns have or don't have a problem then that's the only opinions I really care about on this.

I know you don't have anything against it, you wrote it earlier and I saw it. But I am talking about how it gives your campaign bad reputation. And one more thing is interesting about you EdenDice. You've replied to this post really fast but it takes you 2 days to reply to PM.

He is restricted to how many he can send being a newbie and he gets a lot of inquiries.
2643  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2011 S2 MS65 Casascius coin on: August 14, 2014, 06:00:12 AM
This is an extremely rare series of coin - significantly more rare than the 2011 S1 error coin, which had over 10x more coins minted than the 2011 S2.

BTC1.25 would be an absolute steal...Mike probably charged more than that to sell it to the original owner!

Pending pictures, this could be a very sweet deal for someone!

Doubtful, considering the price of BTC at the time. Good deal at that price, though. Should probably sell for a bit more than that.

Mike never sold his coins for fiat, only for BTC and I'm pretty sure his premium was around BTC0.30 or so. The conversion doesn't matter when the transaction is all in Bitcoin.

And with that last post, I think we can close this thread!

The overview thread (linked above) really does have all the information one needs. Once you've read this thread keep a regular eye on the Services and Service Discussions forum child boards for updates or introductions of new campaigns.
2645  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GET FREE BITCOINS on: August 14, 2014, 05:07:21 AM
This guy is a scammer. He stole some $80,000 worth of Bitcoins from another forum user.

Here's a link the claims made against him -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717205.0

Protect yourself when dealing with him.

2647  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 14, 2014, 03:22:25 AM
I'm sure the answer is SOMEWHERE in the thread, but it's not in post 1.  After I sign up, go through and collect payment, can I just continue posting and I'm automatically re-enrolled for next month?  Thanks.

If the only thing you have to do to collect a payment is submit a form that says what your post count was why do you think you would not be eligible for payment the second month?

What would have un-enrolled you from the campaign? AND if there was some unique process for re-enrollment every month, Stunna would list that step in the first post!

Show some faith, trust the process, you'll be fine...
2648  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature & Personal MSG Campaign ★☆★ Newb,jr,mem Ref Bonus 10%! on: August 14, 2014, 03:09:14 AM
So Possum when was the last time he paid? not within 7 to 10 days. Or has it been weeks? Or well over a month.

I received my last payment on August 3rd. So today makes it 10 days since the last payment.

When he paid me, he paid for all the posts I had made since I started (the week before), about 133 posts, clearly more than the 100 post max.

How newbie will receive their reward is not stated here.

Payments are sent by Lightlord every 7-10 days to the address you provide when you sign up. If you want to get in on this, change your signature to the 777 campaign (and the personal message) and leave a post on here with your current post number and payment address.

After that, just post constructive comments and a few times a month you'll receive your appropriate payment. It's very easy.

Clearly he says "Payment every 7-10 days" for a reason. People need to relax...

How much BTCcoin are you making from your signature ad campaigns?

Not interested in your rate, but your actual "take home pay", what are you clearing a week? A month? Or in total?
2655  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.01 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE on: August 12, 2014, 11:44:59 PM
How's this competitive with other campaigns? I BTC0.10 or BTC0.05 max?
2656  Economy / Services / Re: EdenDice Signature Campaign | Earn Up to 0.1btc for 50 posts | Ref Links Allowed on: August 12, 2014, 11:31:37 PM
Eden Dice,

Is acceptance in this signature campaign a requirement to participate in the 1% profit sharing promotion?

Thanks.

As stated in the OP 10 parts of 1%, so 10%, has been allocated to signature promoters. Therefore you must be on the list. Either way you are only a junior member and there are no spots left for members

You're jumping to a conclusion.

I can promote the signature by adding it to my signature. In the OP it says something to the effect of, "don't worry, even if the all the paid spots are taken you can still put this in your signature!" Last, if this were the case the OP wouldn't provide a Jr. Member signature since they're not open to the paid campaign.

My question stands for anyone (who honestly knows) that can help me. I'd like to participate in the profit sharing competition.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm bummed I missed joining this campaign by a week (I turn Member on Sunday), because I would be leading the campaign in constructive posts...Eden would bet getting tons of ads from me, and it looks like a very cool site.

Good luck to Eden Dice and all of you in the paid campaign.

2659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you spending or hodling? on: August 11, 2014, 11:46:42 PM
I would only tell you that this is one of dozens thread about this matter. People are asking the same question all over again everyday. I would not go so far as to say that bitcoin price will be much higher than it is now in the near future so I am spending all my coins. If i want something i just buy it...

You're absolutely right, which is why I thought it would be more useful to just have a poll on the topic...so people can see the general consensus after voting rather than having to read through many comments and then guess which way the community is leaning.
2660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you spending or hodling? on: August 11, 2014, 11:44:37 PM
The proper protocol is to force yourself to spend, and then replenish what you've spent.

It takes extra effort.  But those who just hold are doing nothing to further the Bitcoin economy, and are thereby reducing the chance their their "HODLINGS" will go up in value.

Use the coins folks.  As often as possible.  Then replenish

-B-

There's a proper protocol for how to use Bitcoin? That sounds like "fiat talk!" In fact, if we were all to hodl Bitcoin, the price would go up because none of us would be willing to sell any. The transactional nature of Bitcoin is what keeps its price stable.

I think the beauty of Bitcoin is it's versatility to satisfy what its user wants to satisfy...it's not just a medium of exchange or a store of value, right now it's both.

Thanks for your comment and vote.
