We just need to be patient even though it's not something easy to do, the cycle is like that and it might just be a matter of time to see Bitcoin hit a new ATH, The most important thing is to keep following the journey from time to time Not everyone can afford being patient. Only those who have enough money to keep living without cashing out their precious BTC even at an obviously low price like it is today. And I think that most of the Nigerian people are in this situation when even though they believe BTC will hit a new ATH in a year, they can't invest in BTC like $1,000, and wait until it becomes $5,000 in the end of 2023. Let alone using a multi-currency basket, as @DrBeer suggested above. They just can't afford that. |

Won the bet again  This one was quite expected though. I mean the chances of ETH staying in the range of $1000 - $1500 was really high. For my overall bet price I gained some decent 891 sats profit. Although its not much but its fun to win a bet than lose one.  Congrats, @pawanjain! That's a decent profit indeed, because winning is always a decent thing, no matter what was the stake. I myself have abandoned betting with significant amounts long time ago, because if you lose those bets it's painful. And it doesn't matter whether you feel you are expert in the field or not. Several years ago I was betting on Oscars on 3 different sites, including freebitco.in, becaue I considered myself an expert in that department. I bet over $60 in total, and I won back less than $10, and now I don't want to repeat that mistake. Any profit is still a profit. Congrats, mate! |

When you have extra money and you are not taught to spend money wisely or have not experienced how to work for every penny, you will spend on luxury items and things that can make you happy and make you feel good or express yourself to make yourself important in the eyes of the public that's what big spenders and compulsive gamblers are doing, they think themselves as a privilege one and don't take a look at the other side of the world where people are deprived and work really hard to earn a few pennies.
I think it only makes them important in their own eyes, that's all. In the eyes of the public they are not heroes, well, in the eyes of the knowledgeable public, anyway. And who wants to be a hero, a role model, in the eyes of the fools? Being a big spender you can only attract crooks of all kinds, and they will be milking you till you are broke. It's true that luck affects all of us and should therefore not play a too big of a role in our decision making. But this implies that we are playing a lot of hands in poker regularly to get the randomness (positive and negative luck) out of our strategy.That's right, the more games you play, the lesser role luck plays in your performance. For someone who only plays maybe one night per month poker the aspect of luck is completely different. If we meet a recreational poker player who goes allin preflop with his 22 for example, only to hit another 2 on the river, we will lose a big pot. Actually, it depends on the situation. If you are playing heads-up, 22 is a great pocket hand, and you are likely to win the pot with it, especially when you are the first who goes all-in and your opponent just folds preflop. However, with 8-9 players at the table it's obviously not that great of a hand, and it's better to fold preflop with such pocket cards. |

Well, I once won $5000+ on a Slot and I was in the clouds with the win.... I withdraw some of that money and I deposited it onto another online gambling site that hosted one of my favorite games (Crash) ..... I then played for a while and I accidental clicked on maximum bet and did not notice it... until my whole balance was gone.
That's a sad story, mate, and it would be sad for anyone regardless of their income because losing $5,000, even though you just won it, and it wasn't something you were planning spending on tohher things, is painful even for a millionaire. This is what I hate about unsuccessful gambling: when you lose not only your money, but a lot of your time too. Hope this won't happen to you again. |

The same is true for all paid tipsters, imo. If they knew how to earn money on sports betting, they would tell it to their close friends and relatives instead of advertising their services on the internet.

Many persons have this mentality that their gratefulness should been shown when the benefits is beyond expectation. But how can you know how to be really grateful in big things when you haven't gotten the mastery in small things.
Let learn to be grateful in everything good thing that comes out way despite it size or even if it's below expectation. For in that which you got below expectation another didn't even get a pin in it.
Those are good words, and I hope the OP will read them. I'm glad I read them too, because I've learned to be delighted by small wins, but just like the OP sometimes I can't keep calm when "the profit I get is not on target". Yep, it doesn't. That's what companies that created something new and original are doing all the time: they are trying to improve their creation and trying to invent something new once again, since they are, obviously, capable of that. You can spend your lifetime on copywriting, licensing and suing those who "have stolen your work", or you can just ignore them and spend your time on creating something new and useful. I mean, you can do both, but in my opinion those judicial proceedings will suck you dry. Absolutely true my friend, and to be honest, without copycats, perhaps more companies would be happy to sit down and enjoy their success since why work for something new and different when there is no competition and everyone doesn't copy your stuff? To be fair the only ones who go for suing in court are those with so much money to make from winning or just egoistical people. Though now you mention it I wonder if any crypto casinos have ever gone to court to sue a copycat? I know at least one case. Like in my house, in order to avoid waste I have domestic animals like poultry birds that feed from food remnants and we also use their droppings as manure for our small garden. When they are matured we use them as our source of eggs and meat. I absolutely agree with this. Buy less, recycle more. That's the formula for surviving times like these. The economy of your household is a great example for everyone, even for every country, not only for every family. I mean, many people and many countries are doing something like this already, but we need more understanding how important it is. |
