2641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 06, 2021, 11:20:29 PM
This could make the fight more interesting since those trash talking sessions are marketable strategy to sell this fight and seems they are successful as many people caught then interest to watch this fight, I wonder how this bout if Casimero will will this fight for sure this bring more boost to his career but if he lose then this could be a huge upset to his career. I also wonder if Inoue will win if he will go up to since he's totally good and deserve to go up then try to win more belts or titles there.

No trashtalks from Inoue only Casimero. If the former will do trash talk back, it will make the fight having more attention to the market.

If Casimero will win the fight, that's a great step towards the rankings and more big-money contracts will be given to him. If Inoue will win, he can climb up now to another weight division and bring his talent on the Westside.

Kabayan @arwin100, how's your 1-week journey here since the start of the thread or since nag start ka?

Part ito ng list ko pero wala pang time mag DYOR gawa ng napakaraming ko ring nilalarong NFT games recently.

@bisdak40 nice pointers you have there. How long you are playing this game already?
2643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Fee Of BNB Is Increasing on: September 05, 2021, 10:47:35 PM
All eyes are on the BNB due to the increase in Ethereum's gas fee. Thinking about the beginning, it can be understood that the BNB's gas free is increasing day by day. Although I don't know the exact reason behind it, the curiosity is there.

I didn't notice the increase. Still cheap as usual.

Can you post a series of transactions that fees are increasing even slightly?

But in the future, in the event that the Binance SmartChain network will be congested, we can't avoid the possibility of paying an increased fee but not the same gas amount that we are facing in the Ethereum Network. That's for sure.
2644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: September 05, 2021, 10:33:54 PM
Everyone should be careful of scam projects, as their tricks have increased, so far the scam project team steals the name of other projects to delude the investors that they are the original and they are only copying and pasting from the real project. In addition, they plagiarism the whitepaper for other projects and attribute it to their project.

Hard to monitor these even a user will do their DYOR at their best.

It's good not to solo research but also do it with the people here. Before investing, users can ask questions here and see what they think of that project. We can also refer to the project's Telegram group and talk with others there. In the first place, we know the difference between legit users and scammers that will talked to us.

Remember too not just to be careful but always stay vigilant like what we are doing on our other investment outside the crypto.
2645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: September 05, 2021, 10:23:30 PM
The decision is harsh but they will not come out with a decision to implement such a strict law without the backing of the data, there could be a big rise in gambling among youth sectors and they want to restrict seeing those ads coming from betting sites to protect the young sector, but they should have a dialog in the first place so they will get the part of the concern parties and come out with a much better plan and not banning all these kind of ads.

That's right. The decision is made by the result of their brainstorming. They won't implement it if no prior studies have been made for even at least a year. It was also being consulted by a much higher person or individual. I also don' see any complaints from legislators so it means the vote is a majority.

Since it's already there, the government should monitor its impact on it. Reconsider their decision if there's something not good is happening like too much financial loss, unemployment, service-related issues, and many more.
2646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Accumulation time is coming guys on: September 05, 2021, 10:10:38 PM
The more we touch a support level, the weaker the support will be. Accumulation time is coming guys. Additionally, which coin will you short? Me: I short coins that I want to accumulate

Accumulation time is much better last month. Why only today do you consider doing some buying when the uptrend is currently in effect. But don't worry, there's no late here like anyone else and no need to buy a whole fraction.

If you really want to hoard some coins, then just buy today without hesitation and do it straight forward. I hope you will really do it and not just posting a simple statement on this thread.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 05, 2021, 10:00:37 PM
I hope Terrafima won't trade any of their players. All of their players are doing great.

There's no superstar. There's no main scorer. Totally different when CJ Perez is there because he's the one doing the most score. The ball is rotating. All are stepping up. It's now become a blessing that CJ Perez now traded.  Good chemistry was now more built on their team.

Schedules are not available. I forgot they only released a 1-week schedule.
2648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Price Prediction on: September 05, 2021, 09:54:41 PM
Lyn Alden has predicted bitcoin will hit $100,000 and ethereum will reach $5,000 as soon as next year.

I like that to happen but I rather stay my speculation and prediction, not on that price ceiling or floor level. Creating such a prediction is just creating hype with no strong basis.

The chart is just telling us where the trend should be headed not to predict the exact thing that will happen.

Expecting $100,000 by next year is somehow not realistic for me even I'm a bitcoin enthusiast.
2649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 05, 2021, 09:49:11 PM
I'm not saying the Achilles injury won't affect Klay's Thompson shooting % but I see he can adjust right away and back to his usual form once he returns to playing on the court. The reason is, majority of his moves was catch and shoot. Yes, it requires great footwork but mostly, the pressure is on his shooting.

Once returned, he just needs to refrain from attacking the paint until his confidence to do it comes back. Warriors will be deadly next season even other teams improved. We saw how Curry makes lots of crazy scores last season and they become noticeable even with a bad record. Now with the help again, I'm expecting he will be on his usual form and not that owning all offense by the team.
2650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for daytrading strategies for beginners/intermediates. on: September 05, 2021, 09:38:46 PM
Our questions are: does our goal sound realistic and what would be your advice for us considering learning and using strategies in order to be successful at day trading? and are there any helpful learning platforms you would recommend?

You are on the right track. Just continue with your current strategies. You need to test each until you found a good one. Day trading is something that you will not learn in just 2 months or even a year. It's not that simple even the goal is to buy low and sell high. Don't haste. You are still in the learning phase. Just continue until you are used to doing it.

Experience will teach you to create several strategies that will help you in the long run.
2651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2021, 09:26:54 PM
Good or not, pros or not, can afford or not, risk-taker or not - everyone shouldn't take a loan just to invest in crypto.

Take it slowly by surely. Buy some small fraction that is fit to budget if there's a chance. Find other sources of income then have a portion of salary to be put on crypto. After doing it for quite some time, you will notice your hold asset is now increasing.

Don't feel regret that you didn't loan before and the price goes up. What if the other way around happened. That's more depressing as you just wrecked yourself and need to find a way to pay your loan.
2652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we see 5k Eth price by end of the month on: September 05, 2021, 09:18:51 PM
ETH is now in momentum and probably will breach a new ATH anytime soon despite the high gas fees that everyone is concerned.

Reaching $5,000 is possible even by mid of month if the momentum will stay. But don't expect that and just limit your expectation. Still good to speculate the closest possible thing to happen for us not to get too carried away.

Let's monitor the price movement this week.
2653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: September 03, 2021, 03:44:22 PM
Almost the average person will refuse to provide an identity for whatever the offer is for fear of having their identity card misused, you have to verify the platform and make sure it doesn't specify the KYC obligation rules then it will be better before you deposit funds to the poker platform.

Actually, almost all of the average people you are talking about don't have a problem with complying with KYC.

The only problem is, it should not be applicable to a crypto-gambling site where operations and services are different compare to crypto exchanges.

If there's a time that my preferred gambling site will ask for KYC, I'm sorry but I need to find another one. I don't really feel comfortable being a public person on my gambling activity. It's a personal thing.

Terrafirma now making sounds at the PBA Facebook page specifically on the thread where PBA is posting the half-time score and the final score. Fun to read some comments there that SMC teams, San Miguel and Ginebra, are struggling to a team that is considered as a farm team and the lineup is not complete as Muzon and Balagasay are still out of DYIP's active lineup.

With J. Tiongson's 31 points on that game, that's the highest point achieved by a single player this conference. It was Matthew Wright's 29 points before.

I did not see the game, but if anyone knows why Cabagnot is still inactive, please let me know the reason.

Alex Cabagnot is still dealing with his back injury. There's no ETA when he will return.

2655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible for SHIBA INU to reach 0.01$? on: September 03, 2021, 12:01:17 AM
Shiba or SHIBA INU coin would need to climb many million persen to hit $0.01. Since January, the coin has jumped about 2,000,000% every month. So, it could — in theory — hit $0.01 by the end of 2022 if it keeps up that growth, according to Market Realist.

But the market trend is not always the same. There's no coin in the history that maintains its growth without a significant change in years. That's how volatile crypto is that's why don't refer to that projection.

SHIBA INU hitting $0.01 is possible but not realistic. There's a difference with that. Too much expectation for a coin that has billions of billions of supply. It's time to just stay in realistic things to happen and not on huge speculation.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: September 02, 2021, 11:49:13 PM
I think there is a big reason why this had come and this will hugely affect the credit holders and the banks who promote these services. But if just only ban in the use of credit cards on all gambling sites, that it really helps to stop people from overspending. But I think it was best for the casinos or online gambling sites to limit the amount when a gambler will use their credit card. That I think it couldn't make them in debt more as they already reach the said allowable amount until it was replenished, I think this is fair enough, IMO.

Credit card bans were only on gambling sites, not on other services. But I agree with your suggestion that gambling sites there can just limit the purchase via credit card to control the spendings and being charged for a big amount later on.

Gamblers are wise. Even without credit cards, they will find a way to maintain their gambling habit. A good step for the government there but not enough. Maybe we can expect more gambling regulations in Ireland after the implementation of banning credit cards.
2657  Economy / Economics / Re: What could make a hacker return stolen $600m crypto on: September 02, 2021, 11:41:43 PM
How can that happen that a hacker does that I return the stolen crypto and say he is not interested in money. This is funny K can say that. What do you think about this story.

We don't know the real reason behind it as I doubt these hackers will try to say anything about it.

But since they will return what was stolen, then it's good for all.

After that, the exchange should now hire the best of best developers and site operators to upgrade the security of the site to prevent the same case in the future. Not all hackers will return a stolen money. That was crazy to think.
2658  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: September 02, 2021, 11:34:36 PM
Critical month for MDP dahil ang daming inaasahan ngayon na ilalabas nila.

  • Gas fee refund from (failed) boss fight
  • Boss fight relaunch
  • Pet staking
  • Marketplace
  • Cage selling
  • Increase silver storage

Nagkaroon na sila fix sa mga server issues kaya asahan natin na maayos na deployments nila ngayon.

Aba may new features pala this September.

Cheesy
2659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: September 01, 2021, 08:45:36 PM
When you watch a Streamer like "Trainwreckstv" .... and you see him betting $1000 per bet, you distance yourself from betting like that. Nobody in his right mind will drop $1000 per bet on a Slot.... if it was their own money.

I think it's not with the amount that viewers are following but the actions of that streamer regardless of the amount that a viewer is placed.

No one will really follow a $1,000 per bet because that is ridiculous on our part even how loyal and die-hard followers of that streamer are. Regardless of where the funds came from, viewers have to use their common sense that streamers are just trying to make their viewers fall on the bait. That's the role of the streamers, to attract their viewers to do the same.

The Chicago Bulls seem like they’re trying to grab all the talent they can right now. They might end up being one of the best off-season dealmakers. It seems they’re trying to sign Paul Millsap as their latest target. He might be on the downside of his career, but I think he’s still capable of putting up some big numbers.

As a veteran, he can help the Chicago Bulls. The current lineup is mostly in their prime and young ages. There are only 2 players in their 30s (Nikola Vujekic, 30, and DeMar DeRozan, 32) but both still playing at their peak. Adding Millsap and as a 4x All-Star, the Bulls will now have a considered legit mentor on the floor as other young guys will surely listen to him.

Chicago Bulls so far is one of the active teams in the post-season. What's next to their plan.
