2641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: August 12, 2021, 06:21:32 PM
The next hundred years will be a new century. Bitcoin has proved to be the most disruptive technology in the last twelve years. We speculate bitcoin would reach a $100,000 in the next ten years, imagine what it could become in a hundred years.  If the planet isn't invaded by aliens or hijacked by telsa robots, just kidding btw. I think Bitcoin would be that generation currency.
You are right , maybe in the next 100 years bitcoin will be much better than today . But I can not think that far .. Because it could be that bitcoin will be destroyed and there is no substitute to continue it. But maybe there is a better btc-like system.

I just laugh when I see the questions like this which are so what will Bitcoin be like in about hundred years or more. We will not be here to see if our predictions are right or wrong about Bitcoin because no one here is gonna live hundred years from today.
We cant even predict on whats the weather on tomorrow on 100% accurate manner. How much more on asking out on what would happen to Bitcoin in 100 years?
Basing on what we do see currently on Bitcoin then we could somewhat say that it would reach out those years if the demand would really continue
then most likely you would really say that it could really last up to those years but we dont know if there would be something new that would
overtake bitcoin into those years. Why we do really need to talk about 100 years ahead?
2642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: August 11, 2021, 11:50:28 PM
When the market falls, you believe you are losing money and sell everything. When you watch the stock market rise, you invest.
This is what losers did. Panicking selling when there is a correction.
Many people feel afraid to buy when the market is in correction (decline phase), but they always ask to buy at cheap prices. Even worse, when it is in an uptrend (rising phase), they will say it is not the right time to buy because the prices are too expensive. For the people just buy without any analysis, it is what will happen to them. I hope we are not a part of them.  Cheesy

Panic sell is a very common situation or event that do happen into this market due to emotion which its normal to be felt since we are just human beings and those reactions would really be common
but when you do already gain up some experience then this is where actions will really vary and its comparable to those who are total noob to those who are experienced ones.
You shouldnt really tolerate your emotions because this would really result into mistakes into your actions or your trading or investment.
Dont tie up your emotions into this very unpredictable market because that would really be molding those bad decisions or mistakes.
2643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 11, 2021, 10:39:01 PM
Today seeing the results of the Sportsbet.io ⚽ Brazil v Spain prediction game:
I noticed that all the guys in the top 3 were at some point participating in the Bitcointalk Poker Series. Now, it's not that a lot of people were participating there, somewhere around 30 ppl max, so I started wondering is there a correlation.

What are your thoughts on this, guys?
I dont know if this one is serious.. Dont you consider that each person could play multiple game or knowledgeable on wide variety of games and wont really be just sticking out on a single?
Dont know on what you are trying to prove or show off here. You do presume that those person are just the same? Even myself could consider that both knowledgeable with Poker and sports  betting
and it just turns out that those people mentioned or on common top rankings are having the same interest, just like that.
2644  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is not good on: August 11, 2021, 09:47:11 PM
But it is still above the support level of $45k so that's the most important thing right now.

That's bitcoin for you, fluctuates every week but at the end it can go on the direction of North, meaning the price can still grow even if we have this minor dip at 1%-2% from time to time.

And now that we are entering the last quarter, it's going to be a wild ride, it's either we reach a new all time high, or bitcoin will fall dramatically, I do hope that the former will happen.

And the fact that it's already midweek and still going strong should be a very positive sign for all of us. I was expecting a dip below 40k again but if this 45k holds and becomes the new support we are definitely seeing a return to ATH by September!

Since the market is showing some good push towards this August which supposed to be a bear season as speculated by other it means that we will have a great upcoming months and I really think that we can see those good pumps coming. Now bitcoin step at $46k and we are close to reach at $50k so if this continue to be bullish then provably we can see bitcoin  reach its ATH again or maybe it creates another new ATH this year.
Really hard to tell for it to be continuous since there are no sentiments that do backing up this current price increase that we had been waiting for some time now since the price had been moving sideways for a while now
and its not a surprising thing for this unpredictable market and its main behavior to be like this and im not surprised into those people who had been saying about the market is bad because it would always be ending up
on having those days where recovery and reverse trend could happen without seeing any viable reasons just like this. For those who had risk out on buying whilest its cheap then they are the ones who had been making
or reaping some profits now.
2645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs, DEFI, NFTs, - what's next? on: August 11, 2021, 08:52:53 PM
Hey guys!

any ideas what could be the next big thing after the three before which we saw over the years?

Greetings!
No one knows on what would be the next  trend that would happen in terms of new innovation or invention but a certain matter. It would just basically pops out when its ready just like on what happened on

Defi and Nft's when we dont really expect that much that it would really exist on the market but somehow we can really see up some idea when its already on the market and presume that it might become a big

thing when people tend to really focus and really get some attention by it and lets see on what are the probable things that would really be in next in line.
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 10, 2021, 11:36:23 PM
There is a tweet of Spence that he canceled the fight. This isn't confirmed yet but there is a facebook viral post about this game being canceled already. But I guess he chicken out his biggest fight here. This is a very big fight of his life where he can make a lot of money. I have no idea about what happened but the coins I allocate for this fight will be used somewhere else which is good in a way.

A retinal tear is a very serious injury and he had no choice but to pull out of the fight.

Depending on what happens with Pacquiao's political career this could be the final fight of his career. Ugas is an underrated fighter but I don't think he has what it takes to beat Pacquiao so I see Manny regaining his title. It would be great for him to retire as champion. The silver lining of this situation is that we will probably get to see Spence vs. Crawford finally. Spence needs a legacy defining fight and if Pacquiao retires then Crawford is the only option for him.
Have search about Retinal tear

What is the most common cause of retinal tear?
Aging is the most common cause of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. As you get older, the vitreous in your eye may change in texture and may shrink. Sometimes, as it shrinks, the vitreous can pull on your retina and tear it

Source: https://www.nei.nih.gov/learn-about-eye-health/eye-conditions-and-diseases/retinal-detachment/types-and-causes-retinal-detachment

This is indeed a serious injury.
2647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC exist without Fiat? on: August 10, 2021, 09:37:18 PM
-- Disagree, ignore the basic features and nature, maybe both will serve opposite goals and are incompatible with each other but the standard of value is still the addition of fiat to bitcoin, more precisely, you can use many different currencies to exchange a product but the regulation of value is still based on that currency, it means bitcoin will have no value without a specific yardstick like fiat. Besides, bitcoin wants to go to alternative steps and establish a new order, it also needs to hold the original image of fiat and banks, fiat is a mirror for bitcoin to look at and repair
this is very reasonable, after all if we don't use fiat then what do we use when we want to buy bitcoin? the local exchange must provide a fiat pair that is valid in that country to be bought directly into btc or other cryptocurrencies. so please stop comparing them, both have their own function. Cryptocurrencies in general are very good, faster and more effective, without a third party, giving a lot of freedom, but on the other hand it is very dependent on technology and the internet, when it is not available then fiat and paper money are the solution. so the two complement each other, there is a quote that says if you can use both, why should you choose?
just use it wisely as needed
Honestly speaking, Bitcoin does really depend on Fiat value and if ever Fiat wont exist then its just normal for such switch up then it would be the mainstream but this is just really an impossible thing to happen but can  really be possible for bitcoin to stand alone but 21M overall supply excluding those lost  coins even  its total mined wouldnt be enough for global adoption or mainstream currency.
Of course Bitcoin could exist without Fiat and it all matters with the demand by the people  which would really be continuing through ages although it wont be that guaranteed
but there would always be a high  potential.

2649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: casino chat moderator on: August 10, 2021, 07:09:23 PM
Hello everyone, as many of you know, cryptocurrency casinos have chat rooms in different languages and those chat rooms have rules so that there is a bearable coexistence between users, some rules they have is to speak the language of the chat room and not spam, those who are in charge of enforcing the rules are the moderators and something I wanted to know is if the moderators are paid a salary for their work, at the wolf casino a friend who was a moderator told me that if they paid a monthly salary But it was very little according to him, if someone has been a moderator in another casino or knows about the subject, they can tell me their experience, for example in my country, which is Colombia, the minimum wage is a little less than 300 usd per month, if a casino I would become a moderator for a salary of 300 usd per month I would accept the job

I was once a chat moderator in Bitdouble.io and i do have only $100 monthly salary. Its way too low for most people but this isnt a bad thing either since it isnt really that much having lots of users that you do need to handle
so i did accept the job and have salary and it is much better rather than have nothing at all and its a side job and i do live on a developing country which means hundred bucks would be significant and something that
you could just let it slip into your hands.
2650  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: August 10, 2021, 06:14:39 PM
Money and happiness... These two are not so far from each other in fact. First of all, I would like to clarify that money can't buy happiness. It's so true that we become happier when we are in a better condition financially. But it doesn't mean the same with the previous sentence. We just like to be able to afford something we would like. It doesn't have to be a very very expensive thing. For example, we have our hobbies unique to ourselves. But we should be able to afford the things needed to ride our hobbies. If we are poor, then we would even have difficulties in buying our basic needs.

So, money has an important role on people to make them happier.
In fact it is really just too near because you wont really be getting happier if you dont have money but it isnt really that everything because there are things which cant really be bought by money like love and respect.
Everything should be in balance but we know the reality that when it comes to financial aspect then theres no such equality on this world but doesnt mean that money is everything.
Live your life to the fullest even though not that really extravagant compared to others but at least you are really happy on it.. Material thing on this world that you can find
isnt really always equal to happiness.
2651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I rather stay hungry than sell my Bitcoin on: August 09, 2021, 11:38:04 PM

If I sell off my coin I might not be opportunied to buy back the coin at the exact rate I bought the previous one and had to come to a concrete decision of not selling my coin no matter the consequence. Yes it's going to be a different story if it turns out negative but what if it turns out positive. Vertually everything about life had two faces been the negative outcome or the positive there is hardly any in-between and so for me I rather take the risk and face what ever comes my way in the near future because risk is a necessity as far as investment is involved.

That's where the knowledge of bitcoin and knowledge of the crypto market comes in handy. we must often monitor the development of the crypto market price and take the right analysis so that we can predict well when to buy bitcoin and when to sell it. Buying bitcoin when the price is low and selling it when the price of bitcoin is expensive, if our analysis is good then we can sell bitcoin at a high price and after that we can buy bitcoin at a cheaper price, but we have to be patient waiting for the price of bitcoin to go down, and we must know that the price of bitcoin will definitely go up and will definitely go down.
There would be certain risk no matter what angle you are trying to go and we do have different decisions or takings into things and if someone do really balance out on his investment then it would really be
ending up with this kind of decision. It would really be that worthy for that sacrifice? I can say its not because it wouldnt really be that something to be worth on exchanging your health condition or body
on having money because it would really be just good if you do end up on having medication because of the foolishness that you had done.Whats the point on earning money on the first place?
All of those bitcoin profit of yours will really be used on medication. Is this something you do wish for?Why we cant just snip out a small amount into our investment which would solved out temporarily on the problem we've been facing like having no food or other emergency purposes or needs in life because if you do keep saving but you are sick or able to miss out something just because you are die hard into your holding then that would be ending up on some regrettable.I cant afford myself on having no food in stomach if i do  know that i have some money been saved up.
2652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accumulating small odds or choosing one or two big odds on: August 09, 2021, 10:37:20 PM

Yes, testing luck is not a problem for you or others but we must remember that we control ourselves and the games and not let the games possess us without having a chance to quit gambling. I am sure we actually have the power to say it is enough to play gambling, but we often reject that and say the next rounds will be ours. We must take a fast decision so we can quit gambling before it is too late for us.

That's the point of self-control that I've tried to hone so far, maybe for 2 to 3 games I can still control the conditions so that I immediately stop and withdraw profits.
As for the rest I'm still overwhelmed to say stop. That way I know, that so far only 2 to 3 games that I have to apply every time I gamble.
It seems, you need to have more self-control for the next 3 games as that can make you feel difficult to stop right away from the games. Yes, I have that experienced before, but I think you should keep trying to stop after you get 4 or 5 games but you need to check your greediness because that feeling can become bigger if you win. So you need to be very careful from that and without having self-control, I am afraid that you will not stay for a long run. Maybe 2 to 3 games will be enough for you to playing gambling as you do not have a difficult to stop and it is better to stop after 3 games.
When you are in the  verge of some winning then that kind of boost up in emotion and of course with mix of greed will surely becomes bigger. In result? You would definitely be continuing on the things you've been doing.
I highly agree with 2 to 3 games but going overboard isnt not bad as long you had already allocated some funds for that certain day and as long you dont compromise even more funds then i do consider for it to be considerable act or behavior but for me the best time to quit midway is on winning with several few bets that you had able to hit.
2653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burning plans on: August 09, 2021, 09:37:09 PM

When u hear/read a coin have a burning plan in their roadmap - is it a always buy in before and sell when it happen? ( Excluded shitcoins).
Not a solid thing for you to presume that it would really be making pumps after such burning events because it will always vary on the project itself if it does have the demand then for sure pumps will really be there
but if we are talking in to a project which doesnt have any demand or popularity at all then burning would be insignificant because it wouldnt really make out any changes at all.
Neither it would be giving off some effects or wouldnt have anything at all.It will always vary or do talk about on the popularity or demand of a certain project for it to have
some relevant effects.
2654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is rising, Is this really the effect of ethereum's London hard fork? on: August 06, 2021, 09:21:39 PM
Ethereum network burning $8,000 a minute after london hard fork and now the effect is underway, ethereum price is now 2,840$, is there any chances that ethereum price will soar up to 5k$ in the next few days from now?
May I know your perspective and suggestion about this guy's?.
If demand would neither sustain or even more then why not? Going another 100% wont really be that much of an issue or wont be a problem as the supply is becoming scarce
and the demand would even go higher then expect that it would really pump up and this is just really some simple economics bro.Thing here is that no one really knows on what
would happen in the future but with that recent London fork then we can really tell that its really that connected on what we are currently seeing on ETh price as of this moment.
It did really make out some good impact.

This is a good read up:
https://kellysthoughtsonthings.com/why-most-of-casino-dealers-are-women/

"Why Most Of Casino Dealers Are Women"

Casinos strive to make sure you enjoy every step of your gaming experience and some of them offer fifty fs bonus codes. Therefore, they use good-looking women with a great personality and excellent communication skills to keep you captivated with the game. The few laughs you can share with that pretty woman are enough to alleviate stress and keep you relax even when the odds are not in your favor.

I do definitely seconded on those bolded words above.
They are a stress reliever and some sort of attraction, apart from calling them distractions. In fact, even not in gambling most of the online/offline sellers are Women, maybe they have more talents and skills when it comes to entertaining people. And it gives more entertainment when these young and sexy ladies will play with you showing their sexy body in front of you, it certainly gives some ease of mind.

And the fact that most gamblers are men  Roll Eyes Grin that certain explanation is valid, cause even you are losing but when dealers smile at you with bouncing boobs, oh well!  Tongue Wink

This kind of strategy also attracts gamblers to keep playing back, even they suffer with losses but with that kind of enjoyment, surely it will lead them to play again, this girls who have good communication skills can drive you to keep trying, and it means that you'll going to adds up more funds inside your bankroll.

Agree with this and even myself would definitely have that kind of feeling and for sure most men would really be having that same reaction when they do see some boobs or sexy gals around.
This is really a part of their strategy on luring or hooking up players to play even more until they would lost everything that they do have on that certain day., We would most likely
realize but its already too late.

Its just too awkward on making men to be the dealer right? For sure they would be sticking into something which can really attract men since most gamblers are males.
So that kind of reaction is just normal.
2656  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: August 06, 2021, 06:56:07 PM
Many companies are also considering allowing their employees to choose to receive partial or full compensation in the form of cryptocurrency. If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, which one would you choose? If the boss pays in Bitcoin, would you want it? Or you continue to prefer to pay in fiat currency to facilitate the purchase of tokens you like.
Do you think cryptocurrency payment will be a new trend in the future?
Honestly i would still like to receive fiat because you wouldnt really worry about getting less or getting more as price volatility is always on the play on the time you would accept it and since you would really be converting it back to fiat specially if you do need to pay up the bills and expenses which means conversion would still involved some transaction fee which means it would be a deduction unlike when you are just receiving fiat then there would be no strings attached and would able to pay up on fix manner. The good thing on receiving fiat is that you do have always the option to partition your money neither it would be saved up for emergency funds and
you would able to allocate some funds or budget when you do intend to invest in bitcoin or simply generally in crypto.
2657  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: August 05, 2021, 10:46:30 PM
sometimes rich people don't always take assets that are held. Rich people tend to use free money to get assets, so holding for people with ordinary economy seems difficult because it is always needed for everyday life. so I think the most important thing is how we manage our assets properly and correctly
they have strategies to earn another assets , and investment never took to get new assets , they will use sources that have to get it. Holding assets should not did if we still have another need to filled, make priority list so we will know which one will get first priority and just do it.
Having other assets or investment or sources on where he could get some income then he wont really be minding of on holding his other assets that are on idle state or waiting up for some returns but also
in negative too and its true that holding is never been an easy thing specially to those who do only have that one investment he do rely on and there are lots of factors that would really affect your decision
but if you are really that strong will and dedicated into holding then you could really resist those temptations for you to sell early and its plausible on looking into those long term hodlers
although this isnt really for everyone.

2659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not invested then do it now... on: August 05, 2021, 08:41:53 PM
Investing in bitcoin needs capital. If you have it and you are open on any posible outcome then invest now and also remember invest how you can afford to lose because investment really comes a risk.
this is the important point, many people are ready to profit from the investment, but are not ready to risk the loss. but profit and loss go hand in hand. so before starting to invest anything with money, we must invest with knowledge first. knowledge will make us wiser in determining strategies, not just placing open and close positions, so there is better consideration, not just joining in and getting carried away by the market.
A very wrong mindset to have and when you do jump in into investment then you should at least know the basics and of course with the risk involved because you cant just
earn money without having any risk behind. There's no particular time for you to say its the right time because anytime could really be a good entry for you to get in.
Just be aware and be ready with the risk and do all your efforts for you to have some good analysis and make out profits out of it.
Dont wait for too long if you dont like to miss out.
2660  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional buyers are not backing down. More Pump? on: August 05, 2021, 07:25:29 PM
I think that institutional buyers won't be affecting the market directly very much anymore. Because we see that some companies like MicroStrategy have still been buying a great amount of Bitcoin but those news haven't affected Bitcoin price a bit. The market and Bitcoin are getting stronger and stronger as time goes on. And this helps preventing the manipulation at a high rate.
There are some who do boast out on buying coins but for sure there are companies or investors that havent said a word but they do accumulate silently behind and same
goes when they are selling too which it is really hard to tell on what are  the actions been doing since this market cant really be traced up on whose buying and selling
behind but we can make up some presumptions that they neither be part or not on said situation. Lets just wait on what would happen in next months or years
to come.As an investor or trader then you should know at least on what you are doing.
