2641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum pump on: August 12, 2021, 09:47:09 PM
I'm still sure if the price of ethereum can penetrate $ 4k in the future.  what I most believe is that in Q4 2021 at the end of the year it seems possible for ethereum to break through the price of $4k or $5k
We will know everything when we get to those price and date targets. But as someone who believes on this coin, we're all sharing the same predictions and analyses that it will be a good year for Ethereum. We saw new all time highs and this will continue at the end of this year.
What it shows right now is the key to that price because of burning. There's more that's going to be burned due to the London fork and that's going to make everyone confident that it's likely that we're going to see the price that we're speculating all of these times.
Ethereum is currently at $3,055 so i'm hopeful that the next price target will be $4k. After this burning from London hard fork, i think ethereum will gain more momentum and will be hitting $5k in just a couple of days.

Not just ethereum is very bullish in the market but even bitcoin too. It's already $44,278 so i think once it breaks its strongest resistance level at $45k, we will surely witness its new ATH. Now, bitcoin and ethereum are definitely following each other's path which might lead into a more bullish season before this year ends.
2642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are other cryptocurrencies not like Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2021, 02:38:14 PM
._
Is there any other coin created at the same time as bitcoin that still survives in the crypto market today, although silly question but you know the answer from this thread, bitcoin is king in crypto with fully decentralized not in many other altcoins, though not as good as bitcoin but eth and bnb is also a top potential coin.
Altcoins are different from bitcoin because some of them are even centralized while bitcoin alone is fully decentralized. But it does not mean that since bitcoin is the king, altcoins will just have lose its value and will have no real life uses.

For me, there's no need to compare bitcoin into altcoins because they have different uses. Bitcoin is a good asset and a store of value which we have seen its value keeps growing. While on the other hand, altcoins too are more identified as tokens from reliable projects and if the project is more transparent because it has more practical uses, then this altcoins will also grow in time just like bitcoin in particular.
2643  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: August 12, 2021, 09:26:29 AM
Everyone often has a long proocess of accepting new things and new technologies. Not everyone is a brave person who is brave to innnovate.
Blockchain as a new technology that has emerged, has not been accepted by everyone. Cryptocurrenc y is gradually integrating and changing everyone's life, and it cannot replace the traditional financial digital currency system.
Cryptocurrency does not aim to replace the traditional financial system but rather integrate in it the concept of blockchain technology that will add more  convenience on the side of the people utilizing it.

For now, its hard to imagine that we will live in cryptocurrency and just leave those physical money. People are already used to it. And if new changes will come, for sure it will not happen in an abrupt way but slowly so that the people will be used to it and become a norm in the next years to come.
2644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 12, 2021, 08:43:59 AM
I think bitcoin is the safest place to store assets, even safer than keeping them in a bank, as long as the key is not shared with others, hold on tight and hide the key, then your assets will remain safe.
don't choose the wrong btc wallet too because many have problems because they choose the wrong btc wallet.  storing btc for a long time must have a mature choice in order and the most important thing is the wallet, bitcoin is a safe haven and you have to keep your private key and password safe.
Even if bitcoin has its own bulls and bears, i still think that bitcoin is a safe haven not just a currency but more of an asset. Its a good store of value that we can keep for long term even if we know volatility will always be present.

And bitcoin will never be safe of course if you can't be more responsible in keeping it. Once you have your private key, keep it in your hard storage. As long as never share the password, it'll always be safe. Safer than what we have experienced in banks.

2645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum @4k on: August 12, 2021, 08:17:33 AM
I think the price of Ethereum to reach $4k is just days away. By the end of this month the price of Ethereum had already reached $4k, as late as September.
If the market can always be good from now on, then it won't be impossible, but if the market can get another correction before the end of this month, then ETH will still need more time to achieve that.
Ethereum is in its current price at $3,138 and if this upward trend will never be interrupted by price corrections, eventually $4k will surely be possible. This London hard fork i think leaves a huge impact to ethereum which made it where it is right now.

But apparently, price corrections are also becoming inevitable and this usually occurs everytime a ptential coin is closely heading to its new ATH. Now, if a healthy price correction will suddenly happen, i think there's no need to worry because we always see a rainbow after the rain. The next step would be reaching its new ATH like we always witness particularly with bitcoin.
2646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin that two people highly esteem on: August 11, 2021, 10:59:32 PM
Lately I've been seeing tweets from Elon Musk and Matt Wallace who very often glorify Dogecoin and even they both seem to dislike BTC and ETH, thus saying that the Dogecoin transaction system is faster and cheaper than BTC and ETH, even Elon Musk himself immediately said that Dogecoin will be superior to Bitcoin and Ethereum after upgrading.
How do you guys react to this kind of thing?

everyone is free to give opinions on social media such as twitter and others. so let them say whatever they want because most importantly we are not influenced by what they say through their twitter account.  and this is their way of making the opinion that dogecoin is a good coin. but for us Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best.
Dogecoin will always be the king for Elon. So he did all the ways to promote his coin when the time that he's trying to manipulate the market. But things don't come out as he planned. Eventually, the crypto market started to recover again seeing bitcoin and ethereum are started to be bullish.

However, dogecoin started to decline its value and until Elon was gone in the market and stop manipulating it. For now, bitcoin and ethereum are still the leaders in the market and there's no way this meme coin dogecoin will beat bitcoin and ethereum.
2647  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: August 11, 2021, 04:39:30 PM
If I can get the cryptocurrency of my choice, then I may choose to accept the cryptocurrency as a salary.
But if I choose a cryptocurrency casually, I still choose fiat currency, because this way I can invest what I want to invest.
However, my side boss pays in cryptocurrency. He will ask me in advance which currency I want, but I always choose Bitcoin every time. Because although it fluctuates greatly, it is a valuable long-term currency.
Getting paid in crypto is still an advantage for us so i will agree 30% of my salary will be paid thru bitcoin and the rest will be fiat. It won't give me worries because i still plan to invest in bitcoin a part of my salary so it will never be an issue.

However, if adoption for crypto is already happening and we can purchase our basic needs thru crypto, then there's no way i still get interested with fiat. I believe crypto is the future particularly bitcoin so i will make sure i own a huge amount of it as much as possible.
2648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Replacing U.S Dollar as the global Reserve Asset on: August 10, 2021, 10:16:25 PM
The current state of bitcoin is in no condition can be used as widely used currency nor to replace the current financial system, the long transaction time and the high fees make it difficult to be used for the day to day microtransactions that are what makes most of the global economy, so saying that bitcoin can replace the us dollar as a global reserve is an impossible thing at least for the current state, and not to mention the high volatile price that it has.
Bitcoin is growing day by day not just the price itself but along of its currency adoption. But its not enough really to replace US dollar and make it as the world's reserve currency. Bitcoin is not even a legal currency yet that is highly supported by the government and i think it will take a long way processing before it can be counted as one.

However, since US dollar is into its deflationary state, then people would surely want to have another currency that will be more convenient to them. And bitcoin is definitely is in the right track. Once its high volatility will be controlled by the government, then maybe bitcoin will become a worlds currency in the near future.
2649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the pandemic is still going on.. on: August 10, 2021, 09:53:02 PM
Pandemic is still going on you got that right and as much as I would want to try to be part of some of the airdrops going on , I think we also need to be on the lookout for projects that are after our personal user data which we need to guard as it could be damaging in the future. But overall  away from airdrops I think just being an ordinary hodler should be rewarding around these times as price has being rebounding and growing stronger with each day, once we out of the pandemic those bags should be filled with some coins.
I don't think this pandemic will end earlier. It might still occur in the years to follow. As with those airdrops, for me they are not much in demand right now because most of us are already focused to defi projects who have more real life usage and much even profitable these day. But i definitely miss those times that airdrops are very active and are offering us huge profits. Maybe they can recover one of these days, who knows?
2650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is rising, Is this really the effect of ethereum's London hard fork? on: August 09, 2021, 10:13:40 PM
I think the current growth of ETH is greatly influenced by the London ETH hard fork, because we see that currently only etherem is growing due to the impact of the hard fork, while other altcoins and even BTC itself are not increasing as experienced by ETH today, with the presence of hard fork has a very good impact on the future development of ETH,
It seems that you are not careful in looking at the price of Bitcoin or do not often pay attention to the price of Bitcoin, from the lowest price of $30K at the time of the correction, now Bitcoin is at a price of $46,183.32, is that not called an increase in price? if you think it's not a price increase, try to explain how it is understood.
Bitcoin is also making a price surge with today's price at $45,830 while ethereum is also $3,101. Ethereum is definitely making a good price increase in a fast rate. And probably, this is more of a positive result of London hard fork.

The event may caused ethereum to grow up so fast and more likely, hard forks usually affect the platform before or after the event of forking has been done.

2651  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2021, 09:44:54 PM
Unfortunately, I don't think this going be happen anytime soon. El Salvador did this because they are a poor country and many people there don't have an official bank account or can not have one ever, also, their fiat money is worthless comparing to USD. While for example, talking about the US, they have strong fiat and will try to increase their fiat value, and accepting bitcoin as a legal currency is totally against it. Also, El Salvador is suffering from economic sanctions, and bitcoin transactions will help the government with this. Time after time, we can see more countries like El Salvador doing the same thing and accepting bitcoin as a currency, but this will take more time for developed countries to do so.
Each country has different overview on bitcoin and if the government that is managing the whole country is totally against bitcoin, then there's no way that country will accept bitcoin.

However, with El Salvador, the government is taking new
steps on how to improve and boost their economy and since the government is positive on the outlook of bitcoin, so they provide good concepts about bitcoin to the people which in the end made bitcoin a legal tender in their country. I think its just a matter of good leadership. I'm not saying good leaders should learn to accept bitcoin but rather they should start taking leaps to combat the problems that are mostly the reasons why a single country is not making a progress, even if it means replacing the old government system and taking into consideration accepting new system for the finances to grow.
2652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 09, 2021, 09:12:03 PM
5 years ago I heard about Bitcoins  some feedback are good but some of them are negative

Untill now In my country if you say/discuss about Bitcoins expect that their response are negative.

Why does some people always say negative about Bitcoins?

1. Lack of knowledge about Bitcoins, uneducate People only saw the negative sides of Bitcoins.
2. Some of them say negative feedback because of their experience on some sites about Bitcoins,  because now a days Bitcoin are popular but there are many site will scam you if you are spontaneous to invest in not trusted sites.

The reason why people have a negative impression about Bitcoin is different but the two major things that cause it are ignorant and the government stance towards Bitcoin and I can most people in your country that said negative things about Bitcoin does because your government has not acknowledged Bitcoin personally.
Yes. Bitcoin does not seem to create positive things to the people because even the government personally is not in favor of bitcoin and does not trust it because of what they always believe bitcoin being a scam. And for those citizens who don't even have enough knowledge for bitcoin, so they resort into believing the government which is not definitely right.

However, if the government can provide good education not just for their traditional finances but even to the new risen blockchain technology, then the citizens will not come up being naive and ignorant to bitcoin.
2653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC still top1 on the cryptomarket? on: August 07, 2021, 08:14:05 PM
Bitcoin is king of cryptocurrency. Because bitcoin is first cryptocurrency coin. Most of coin have central Controller. But bitcoin have no central authority or middlemen.users control it. I think no one can vanish bitcoin. This is power of bitcoin.
Bitcoin will always be the crowd's favorite and will always be on top not just of its high price but because of its capability to easily recover even a from a huge dump and is even set to reach another ATH after a long dump price.

And simply because altcoins have been very dependent on bitcoin that when bitcoin becomes bullish, most of them will follow the same path except for those coins that only have less potentials to survive and so they remain on the bottom.
2654  Economy / Economics / Re: Can blockchain replace the traditional banking system? on: August 07, 2021, 07:52:55 PM
In my opinion, from a technology perspective and ease of use, blockchain is the right place to replace the traditional banking system.

We see over the last decade, the payment system has transformed so rapidly.  From real-time cross-border payments, to using blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Recently, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) and stable coins also emerged that made traditional banks rethink their business models.
Blockchain technology has been very useful and beneficial to each of us but i think replacing our traditional banking system with this won't happen easily and will definitely take a long process.

Blockchain still needs a more room to grow because its still young and not mature yet. People has entrusted their whole finances into traditional banking system in their whole life so if this will be replace with the current blockchain, then let's expect that there will be more issues that will come out.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should you own at least one Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2021, 07:27:58 PM
You need to own 1 bitcoin so that in the future it could become your retirement package as price is expected to rise with time,so if you want an idea of how you can use bitcoin, take it as a parallel savings account for your kids, save some money for your kids and family both in fiat and crypto (bitcoin). In a few years time you are likely to find the bitcoin pot to be more valuable than your fiat savings account. If you have never looked at bitxoin this way here is a savings project for you, happy  savings.

This is a great advice for everyone but i think its not necessary that you should set a goal reaching  one bitcoin because although its easy to say buy definitely hard to be realized. Just invest little by little and of course, on the amount you are ready to lose.

I believe bitcoin will be a good retirement package in our old days because its value will definitely grow in the future. Even with the current price, the price is really incomparable and very amazing for everyone but let's not forget how risky it is too especially if your prefer to buy it with the current price. So just invest on the amount we can afford to lose.
2656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this another Ethereum season on: August 07, 2021, 07:03:40 PM
For me, Ethereum doesn't really need to prove itself as the best coin than other coins. Why I said above that this is the time for ETH to prove itself, because so many people compare ETH with other Altcoins.
I think it's clear.
In the past ETH has proven itself to be the best among other Altcoins and now there is no need to do that anymore, because simply by making good developments it will become even stronger over time.
New altcoins have been arising in the market but none of them has beaten the performance of etherem. So definitely, there is no need to compare ethereum with those other altcoins  because it will always ethereum who will excel.

And with the current London hard fork, etherem has given more momentum to move in an upward trend. And hopefully, once this fork has become successful, the issue of ethereum about its gas fees will now be resolved.
2657  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: August 06, 2021, 10:35:37 PM
Seriously I believe it is easier to hold bitcoin or any cryptocurrency if you are already rich because you won't really think about anything your mind won't really be in the coin you invested on or whenever you need money you won't really think of selling it because you are having extral money that you can easily use to solve your problem but if you are not rich any small thing you will endup selling your coin immediately.
To be honest rich investors has always a great advantage because they can put a bigger capital compared to those poor investors. And when the market seems to fall, they worry less because they still have big amount of money in their savings account ready to back up when things don't come out the way they expect.

Unfortunately, poor investors don't have this privilege and when the market is not performing well, they become panic and resort into selling their coins with a low price. Hodling has always an advantage to rich people and its always been the reality in all aspects of investments.
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand that you are making a mistake? on: August 06, 2021, 10:05:39 PM
I've actually done something before that matches this definition. I made some investment into meme coins just to try my luck. In a short term, I made some good profit and sold them. After that, I still kept having some money in these coins. But this time, most of them crashed and I made an important amount of loss. But in total, I'm still in profit a little.  Grin  So, I say that fortunately I made those investments.
Meme coins are definitely not for long term investment because if you do, you will fall into a huge loss. It's only good for short term like you do and now, you're even making profits than losses.

But i must say, if you come up with a single mistake in your life, don't try to do it again because it will even cause you more damages more than what you expected. Invest in bitcoin and ethereum and for sure, you will never be in great losses but more of maximizing profits.
2659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: August 06, 2021, 09:42:17 PM
Bitcoin is valuable because many people believe in it, maybe one day Bitcoin will become the currency used by various countries.
I think another reason why Bitcoin remains valuable is because:
- The most popular cryptocurrencies
- The only fully decentralized cryptocurrency
- Maintain majority market share
- Become the main investment destination of most traders
And bitcoin is even more worthy because it has only limited supply so investors will definitely crave for bitcoin because of its very expensive price that keeps growing from time to time.

Bitcoin may has its own dump season and made a huge drop but after days or months of prices declining, we always see bitcoin rising again and eventually it reaches another new ATH everytime. So if you're a smart investor, why would you run into another coin if bitcoin has all the reasons to be the number one investment of all time.
2660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Bullish Altcoin of the moment on: August 05, 2021, 10:56:04 PM
Ethereum did it again, now about to cross $3k. It's seen @ $2,811 now as of typing this and might be crossing $3k soon. And this is thanks to the London hard fork.
I'm looking towards the lonorg term effect of this hard fork that Ethereum did and a portion of the transaction fees are going to get burned. That's bullish for me, this is why I still hold ETH.
Right. Ethereum is very bullish this time and right as of this moment, its price is already $2,824 while bitcoin is on its way reaching the $45k resistance level. Ethereum is seen making a consistent upward trend not just because of London fork but because of its own great usage of its platforn wherein most of the projects have preferred to use it. And we always say that ethereum comes up following the price of bitcoin and yes, its already happening right at this moment.
