Is this the messaging app everyone has been talking about? You can send actual bitcoins with this? I thought it just used its own gems currency?
No bitcoin transactions is possible it has its own wallet, gemz tokens are used for rewarding users for participating within the network through airdrop (to be released soon along with iOS) and payments for different advertisement purposes. Unfortunately the price of bitcoin has a lot to do with the way people like OP feel, this goes for the majority.
I don't think it's the majority but it's the majority of the people that get vocal about it when it's not going as planned. IF you can see the possibility of bitcoin for the future then people won't be as worried. If it's going no where after 3/4/5 years then maybe we might have a problem but bitcoin will take some time to find its footing. I know bitcoin is revolutionary but when it loses value day after day for 14 months many will think like OP and it's pretty normal. Even early adopters who still havent sold have lost a fortune and every time we get the same argument to wait for 5-10 years and come back. Although i believe bitcoin will eventually skyrocket, but the price plays with peoples emotions, watch when it goes into bullish rally then those who haven't bought will start to whine. |

The government can only stop the exchange between bitcoin and fiat, they can not stop the bitcoin network, thus bitcoin can not be stopped
They could also make it illegal for businesses to accept bitcoin. Still bitcoin can't be destroyed, people will use it underground and nothing can stop it which actually will attract more and more people to the point where we are now. |

For the first one. Gotta agree, normal people (non-technology) wont be investing in Bitcoin. Most of them are afraid for the rapid changes in the exchange rate. And.. some of them can't understand how Bitcoin work. Unless Bitcoin is value stable, else, people wont be investing in it.

I suggest to put the community Q&A in the OP and maybe put it on top of the page like i've done it in the Dutch section, it should be updated if there is a new one. Often users ask the same questions which have been covered in the Q&A, there is a general Q&A in the OP but not the community one. |

Clef is used for withdrawals, not login. You enable it to require verification for withdrawal of GEMZ from your Koinify wallet. Cool thanks |

I dont know about anybody else, but Ive been using this app to text, send pics, send gems, and send bitcoins and it has worked flawlessly. Of course I havent received gems for referrals and use yet, because airdrops have not started yet!! Which some people seem to be confused about.
But like I said, it works great. Congrats Peled and can't wait for the iphone version so I can bring all of my contacts in and use Getgems exclusively!!

Until Windows Phone has a market share of 5%-10%, it will not become a priority in the project. The current app priority list is as follows: (1) Android, (2) iOS, (3) Web/desktop, (4) Windows Phone. Even after our team completes all milestones, we will probably find it more beneficial for the project to invest in improving Android+iOS rather than add a platform with such a small market share. So I guess Blackberry's been put on the back burner.  Android and iOS have like 95% market share where Windows and Blackberry around 5% combined lol. |
