I received a similar message, if the link was contain virus files, phising or malware then that account will be banned, else all you can do is report that he is scammer (maybe negative trust) and ignore that user.
If you receive a lot of messages, try the option to prevent receiving messages from newbies,
2662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine the condition of people today if they had invested on Bitcoin in 2015 on: November 24, 2022, 09:34:50 AM
There is no model that makes half of the world's population rich, otherwise the definition of the word rich would be the next question. Now the price may be very cheap compared to the prices of 2050, so why didn't you invest everything you have in Bitcoin?
The same excuse will always be for that, so you will find the majority satisfied with observing from afar and wishing, and a few choose the adventure.
2663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin survive the apocalyse? on: November 24, 2022, 09:32:06 AM
Bitcoin will stop when people stop using this chain, and this will happen quickly if a fundamental defect is found in this technology, such as breaking the encryption, or there is an alternative, cheaper and more efficient, otherwise the network will weaken until it is centralized or managed by only some people.

Wars and other problems are not sufficient reasons to deal the death blow to Bitcoin, but uniform regulatory legislation around the world will be sufficient.
2664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ftx case and law enforcement actions on: November 24, 2022, 08:25:49 AM
What is the FBI's relationship to this case? It seems that you watch a lot of movies, there are other censorship authorities that handle financial investigations, and it is now up to the regulators.

Unfortunately, when you deposit your money in central platforms, you trust that the platform will return that money to you. Otherwise, recovering it through the regulatory and legal authorities may take many years.
2665  Other / Meta / Re: ProxyBan of Some New Forum Members. on: November 24, 2022, 08:12:18 AM
How do you do that? I know some users can but I can not remember how it's done LOL
There is a button at the bottom of each account called Whitelist. By clicking on it, the user will be added to that list and he can post freely without any spam restrictions.

admins, global mods and some members have access to this feature.
2666  Economy / Exchanges / Re: An Attempt to Bring Down Coinbase? on: November 24, 2022, 07:35:50 AM
Unlike others I don't think it was done with the intention of fooling people.

What he did was just to talk about something he doesn't know. We call that ignorant. The problem is, seeking for the buzz on the internet, to maintain his cult awake, he is willing to tweet shit, without really checking.

He must have been convinced by his first tweet, and then someone educated him. That's how it usually goes with ignorants Roll Eyes
No idea why people are so influenced by CZ. The guy is not preaching the crypto world, he is just monopolising his market. #MoneyMatters.
He's not on your side
Suppose that the Binance platform is listed on the US stock market, can he tweet such a tweet? I do not know, but the intention to manipulate and mislead is clear in the tweet, just as publishing false information and apologizing for it is not considered behavior that does not deserve punishment, or at least an investigation and compensation for the platform for any damage caused by these rumors.

Send your friend's username and I will add him to my whitelist.
It's annoying especially if you're a beginner and don't own any bitcoin.

Edit: I added @Brighthustle to my whitelist, he can post freely.

Both are whitelisted.

I didn't notice your comment Grin anyway he can send more PMs now
2668  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coin market cap launches proof of reserves tracker for exchanges. on: November 23, 2022, 02:01:21 PM
Why do I think that this site will turn into a tool to intimidate small platforms because of the ease of providing misleading information and the possibility of spreading rumors or at least manipulating data for the benefit of Binance?

2669  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Three US lawmakers' reactions amidst FTX collapse on: November 23, 2022, 01:47:40 PM
Does this mean a step forward in the direction of ETFs acceptance that the two issues are completely separate?
I have not heard many stories about the bankruptcy of people associated with FTX, I have heard more stories with Luna.

It is laughable that one of the places that clients' money was wasted was in the US elections.
2670  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4500 personal data leaked by TokenSoft on: November 23, 2022, 01:32:55 PM
Does anyone know the number of users (active users,) and is this 4,500 the real percentage, or is it an estimate, and what permissions does that member seek to access compared to the total number of users?

In general, the number is not large, so the motive is likely to be financial, and we may hear new leaks if those were a VIP people.
2671  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lightning network trading platform on: November 23, 2022, 01:03:42 PM
Personally, since when you hear the term "pegged coin" meaning that you will get a 1:1 value for all your coins, there is no evidence that you will get that value or that they will even fulfil the peg.

Therefore, if you mean the exchange of several cryptocurrencies and the security of Bitcoin in the process is centralized and you cannot prove that they have the same value 1:1.
2672  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can you ask for a refund of the money deposited in FTX from your bank ? on: November 23, 2022, 12:31:58 PM
You should deal with caution with any advice that comes regarding  to FTX, the platform has filed for bankruptcy and the judicial authorities will start to move, so "what happened is done" and everyone who claims that they can help you is either a fraud or is trying to defraud you.
All things legal or illegal were possible once rumors spread and before bankruptcy was declared.

Remember: your money in your bank acc is not yours, and therefore an attempt to defraud or provide false information may lead to the freezing and confiscation of your money.
2673  Economy / Exchanges / Re: An Attempt to Bring Down Coinbase? on: November 23, 2022, 12:15:14 PM
I hope that the collapse of Binance will be quick and smooth because it will cause the biggest chaos ever. As for this tweet, the intention is clear, and everyone should know that CZ behavior is monopolistic, and this monopolistic behavior will enhance centralization more than decentralization.

As for CZ FUD, most American companies have more scrutiny than other companies, so I think that Coinbase's financial situation is much better, and I personally trust them more than Binance.
2674  Economy / Economics / Re: Climate Regulations Are About to Disrupt Global Shipping on: November 23, 2022, 11:55:57 AM
I have had a question for some time, which is the difficulty of having a global shipping fleet powered by nuclear energy? I believe that defining unified international paths and designing ships to be environmentally friendly is much easier than trying to restrict the global oil and gas situation.

The bad news is that when all these technical problems are resolved, the user is the one who will pay all the extra expenses, and there may be a delay in delivery time.
2675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What feature of Bitcoin do you think is most difficult to understand? on: November 19, 2022, 11:58:07 PM
Synchronization and how to broadcast and confirm transactions. All Bitcoin concepts are simple but rarely understood and it is much easier than managing smart contracts.

Generally a few YouTube lectures and you will learn a lot ---------> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJWCJCWOxBYSi5DhCieLOLQ
2676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Promotion and Adoption in my locality on: November 19, 2022, 11:53:23 PM
Thank you for contributing to the spread of Bitcoin, but without a real motive and questions from users, you rarely find someone who continues to accept and buy Bitcoin, I do this because:

It gave me an opportunity to send money to hard-to-reach areas using traditional methods.
It has value in itself and increases in the future.
A way to hedge against inflation.

and other motives.
2677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If this is all a project has to offer run and don't look back on: November 18, 2022, 11:13:18 AM
Those physiological factors are also the reasons why newbies need evaluation and revaluation of everything thrown at them from the market, trying to make 10x profits effortlessly is what has resulted into miss guided investment that has led many to lose their funds in projects that are designed just to steal from investors.

The problem is where do I get the information from and who do I trust? I remember over the past year, on many TV channels, there was an exaggerated promotion of NFTs on the grounds that it brings quick profits.
After that, the user will search social media to find armies of robots that convince him that investment now is a golden opportunity. Some people search Google to find currency in the first result and some (paid) articles that talk about the economic feasibility of investment.

All factors will make you believe that you got the golden opportunity.
2678  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real bottom is yet to come of BTC on: November 18, 2022, 11:00:37 AM
Such thinking will not bring you real profits. Waiting to try to buy at the bottom, and waiting until the verification of the bottom may make you lose the journey on the train, despite the possibility of buying close to the bottom for $3,000, so what is the difference between $16,000 and $13,000?

DCA's principle means that you exclude the price as a criterion and make the most important factor is time.
2679  Economy / Economics / Re: Climate Regulations Are About to Disrupt Global Shipping on: November 18, 2022, 10:47:26 AM
The issue of climate and environmental changes is important, but unless the whole world unites on decisions and they are strictly implemented, we will not succeed in reducing the environmental impact. What compels all world governments to comply with environmental rules or reduce pollution levels, and what is done with countries that have not signed any charter that guarantees that they Will it reduce the cost of emissions?

All these factors make me believe that countries that reduce carbon emissions will add additional burdens to their costs.

In short, unless an alternative fuel economy solution is found, current efforts will not succeed.
2680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm thinking of opening a few exchangers of cryptocurrency... on: November 18, 2022, 10:01:00 AM
I'm thinking of opening a few exchangers of cryptocurrency and other electronic currencies, but I do not know how, are there such people among you who have been in this business? Can I have a word or advice?

Running an " exchangers of cryptocurrency" requires a large amount of money, experience, legal advisors, marketers, development team, security and protection team, customer service team, this team must be homogeneous and work from scratch on developing the platform.
Therefore, your question indicates a weakness in one of the teams above, and this weakness means that the probability of your platform failing is 100%.
Try to run a peer-to-peer trading activity on one of the platforms.
