All the balance of the Europa League can change after some powerful teams come from the Champions League. But we need to see the performances first. Because I was thinking the same last season but we didn't see much from the teams came from there. Even teams like Barcelona failed hard I mean. It is hard to predict the performances of big teams in lower tournaments. In the end most of them would be targeting to be successful in their domestic league first.

Arsenal seem really eager to win the Europa League title as well. If they handle a tight schedule well then they can maintain a successful run in this tournament also. For now they aren't having problems on having a balance between the EPL and EL. There is no such thing as they would open a safe gap with the others in the EPL until next round and focus on the EL more as well. They will most probably need to be very concentrated on both tournaments at the same time for a success.

Lorient started to perform bad earlier than Lens in that duo as it seems. After getting two draws in a row this time they lost to Nice home by 2-1. Their defending style is not good for two weeks as they conceded 4 goals in their last 2 matches in the league. They have started to become no different than Marseille these days.

When it comes to Marseille they are still a mess in the league. They performed really great in the first half and brought the score to 2-0 already. But they did a thing that they shouldn't have done in the first half. They started to play complacently and this helped Strasbourg to be hopeful about a point in this. They really got that point by scoring 2 goals in the last 15 minutes of the match. Marseille are still on a bad streak and it is four weeks now.

But he used the chance very well by making the assist of the winning goal.

Barcelona's main problem is not with this kind of matches actually. They have serious problems against big teams and we saw many examples of it so far. Xavi needs to deal with this problem before anything else.

I've heard some rumours like Leeds are planning to make an offer for Cody Gakpo. However I don't think that they would have much chance to sign him at all.

The reason why is that even Manchester United were close to signing him in the previous transfer window. But they couldn't finish the deal. PSV must be feeling really lucky to have him still. Because his performance so far in this season has been very impressive. He has 13 goals and 14 assists in 21 matches in total. It looks like this time it will be very difficult for PSV to keep him next summer. He would be under the radar of some big teams I assume. So Leeds can't convince him to sign for them as a result.

Liverpool are just in a desperate condition now. I was expecting a comfortable Liverpool win against Leeds. As they were still inconsistent in the league they needed a push to pull themselves together. It was horrible to see Liverpool that much in trouble against Nottingham last week as well.

However this bad run still continues for Liverpool. This time they lost to Leeds in Anfield by 2-1. The last time Leeds got a win here was in 2001 so it was a very specialy victory for them certainly. On the other hand things are getting more serious for Liverpool day by day. They are still unable to fix defensive issues. They could have at least used the strategy which is "the best defense is to attack" but they struggled about scoring multiple goals also. Especially in the second half Liverpool had a big dominance but it didn't reflect on the score I'm afraid.

I also picked Russell for the pole position and tried a surprise choice. I really believed in Mercedes in qualifying as they have seemed really strong so far at the weekend. But Verstappen still had a great lap and secured the pole position for himself.

Russell was in a situation that he could have taken the pole position but he made a mistake in last sector and he was out of track limits. He apologised to his team on the radio after that as well.

Leicester are in a quite good form. I wonder whether they would be able to make difficulties for Manchester City. It has become quite difficult to predict Liverpool's matches this season. I wouldn't be surprised even if they win by a big goal gap. It is the same even if they lose points. But I expect many goals in this match as well.

Group H is also one of the exciting groups currently because three teams are still candidate to finish the stage at the second position.

Trabzonspor could have captured the position and gained a good advantage before the last matches. However they lost to Crvena zvezda by 2-1 away and made things more difficult for themselves. It was like they weren't the same team that destroyed Monaco 4-0 previously. Trabzonspor still should have been able to take advantage of their squad quality. But the last week will be very critical. Ferencvaros have already guaranteed next stage so Trabzonspor should be able to defeat them home. But on the other hand, Monaco are playing home against Crvena zvezda. Winning this match is enough for Monaco to make it to next stage.

I think Monaco will make it as they already defeated them before. They can do this home even more comfortably.

I think that one of the stars of the match was definitely Karagumruk's goalkeeper Viviano. Because he showed maybe one of his best performances in this match. He was very effective in preventing a disaster for his team because he made so many great saves during the whole match. The red card affected the other players really badly and Galatasaray took full control of the match later on.

I was already expecting a clear victory from Galatasaray here after making simple point losses lately. Karagumruk wasn't a big threat to them. Mata also scored 10 minutes after he entered the match and it was his first goal for his team. Galatasaray still can't score many goals in a match though but at least they managed to keep a clean sheet this time.

It isn't interesting to see rumours regarding Juventus to change their manager after a bad run in the Champions League. However I don't know about Conte to return to Juventus soon.

I think it is dependent on how successful Tottenham will be this season. Their recent look is not well after losing two matches consecutively. But they are still in a very good position in the Premier League. When it comes to the Champions League their current position is still under threat. If they somehow finish the group stage badly and say goodbye to the tournament then maybe the probability of him to join Juventus might increase. Juventus had a great time with Conte before as they won the Serie A title three times. They would lean towards a deal for bringing him back for sure.

@emrecemsan  I'm not sure whether device's return to Astralis would change many things. We first need to see them in some official matches in big tournaments. Then we can start making sure of their condition.

Astralis were actually seeming like they were going back to the times they were a solid team. But after a point their performance started to drop down a lot. There was no meaningful explanation for that also. This led them out of top 10 in the world rankings as well. By the way, I don't know if replacing Farlig was a good idea. Actually MistR has been like a temporary player after k0nfig was sent from the team. I assumed they would make a change with MistR. Maybe they want to give some chance to him for some time and then decide upon his future.

When it comes to the Champions League title chance of PSG I think that there is a big doubt there.

Because they struggled against Benfica quite a lot in the group and couldn't beat them in both matchups. This makes me question their future performance against much bigger teams. I know that they got an enormous win like 7-2 over Maccabi Haifa recently but this doesn't mean much to me. Because it was already a weak opponent so there is nothing to be surprised of. They just need to improve their effort more against big teams. They are already comfortable in the Ligue 1 so they should be more focused as of last 16 round in the Champions League.

Atletico Madrid and Tottenham just destroyed my parlay last night. It was unbelievable to watch the moments after Atletico Madrid won a penalty in the last minute. A save by the goalkeeper, a shot coming back from the goal post... It was really devastating for me to see them wasting a huge chance which cost them the Champions League as well.

Tottenham on the other hand shocked me. I don't know how they couldn't beat Sporting home. Getting a win in this match was going to secure last 16 for them by the way. This should have been another motivation source for them. But instead they started the match terrible. There was nothing good in them in the first half. They even barely scored the equalizer in the last ten minutes. Conte must do something immediately as they are bad not only here but also in the EPL.

I don't remember the last time I was this much unlucky. Tottenham scored a goal in the last minute but it was disallowed by VAR. Atletico Madrid missed a penalty in the last minute. Even the chances after the penalty were more absolute goal chances.   I don't think of making a betslip for the Europa League. However I like to make combined betslip now. I'd prepare something for the leagues at the weekend.

While there is some conversation about Messi's future at PSG I'd also like to add some information about it.

It is claimed that PSG have already offered a one-year extension to Messi. They want to act quick and do their best to keep Messi in the team. Because since he adapted to PSG's system he has been one of the biggest contributors of the team with not only goals but also assists. PSG don't want to see the trio disbanding by the end of this season. They are already worried about Mbappe's future at the team. If Mbappe and Messi both leaves I assume Neymar also wouldn't like to stay anymore. This would change the destiny of the team completely for certain. 

It was really emotional to watch Vettel leading the race despite being for a short time period. It carried me back to the times he was racing at Red Bull and achieving championships.  

We are in another race week by the way. This time our station is Mexico. This is a meaningful race for Sergio Perez of course. I remember that he finished the last race here in third position. Being on podium was still important for Perez then. But this time he might want more than this. Because him and Verstappen have a really nice advantage against the rest of the drivers. But he is still in a close fight with Leclerc in the standings. Leclerc has got ahead of him again and we would see another rivalry in this race I assume.

Apart from that, Verstappen would like to continue winning until the season ends. I don't think he would be very comfortable. So it is really hard for Perez to win this race.
