just sold right after token dustribution I heard two rumors: 1. After listing, tokens price is going up x3-5 in few days... 2. After listing its price is decreasing... Which one theory is right? Or, maybe, each project need individual approach? I will not say with certainty one hundred percent, but I think that individually If you look at the charts, you can't say anything. Some projects get x3-5 tokens increase in couple day after listing, others are going down. For example, Ethereum - ICO price was nearly $ 0,35 and now — $ 750/coin, but right after listing its price began to fall... I agree with you, you never guess when to sell a token, the main thing is faith in the project! |

Actually in my opinion there is no need to cash out never! I mean the best thing you can do - just hold tokens few years. Then you will receive 20x or even more! Even x50 possible. You forgot one detail- some projects only collect funds and don't develop any product. but I agree with you, this tacticis working for digital currencies too. Anyone can buy any digital asset and wait for 1-2 year for large profit) Or you can lose everything! Here you need a specific analysis and constant surveillance of the entire market! |

But to reach all this purposes you should have money  You think after soft cap, they will not have enough money to realize all the goals? It is the minimum amount that project need for realizing all goals. What is better: spend $50k on marketing and promotion or $500k? And which variand will give more results?) Marketing can not be too weak, especially if the project promises to be so great. I saw a lot of companies that did bad advertising, and as a result they did not have the required number of users. nowadays its very big hardcap It is very strange thing. In usual investing strategy, if company collects $ 10 mln it gets $ 100 mln market cap. What about ICO? If Dararius will collect $ 67 mln, what will be with project's market cap? Companies often overestimate its capabilities and then face with unfulfilled investors expectations. Yes, many companies can not fulfill the project in time because of inexperience of the team. But here is a strong team and I think that they will be able to collect half of the requested amount. you are totally right Sounds cool. But why should investors buy tokens on project site, if they can do this on exchanges? How to shield tokens price from speculations? There can be situation, when investors buy cheaper tokens on website and in the next moment sell them on exchange with extra charge. Because they support the project on ico. But tokens can be much higher after the end of ico and when they are listed on stock exchanges. Thank you, now I understand. Still the project is interesting, but I'm confused by the huge difference between a soft cup and a hard cup.
