2661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is difference between HODL and staking? on: February 07, 2022, 10:28:48 PM
hii all
my question is what is difference between HODL and staking
Holding means that you are holding or keeping your cryptocurrency asset in the certain wallet (exchange/personal wallet/hardware wallets and others). But this will not pay you some profits monthly in the coins that you are holding. However, by holding, you may have chances to get higher profits after certain periods, because the assets that you are holding may be increasing after several years or months.

On the other hand, Staking is actually almost similar to holding, it is by keeping certain assets. But it's done in certain platform where it will also give you APY based on the certain period that you are staking. This will give you passive income weekly, monthly or yearly. However, you must be smart in chooisng the platfomr, whether it is reputable and trusted or not. Because, it is also risky if you are loisng your assets.
Not all coins can be staked and not all exchanges provide staking. So, do more research on this and also do more analysis on the rewards of AYP itself.
2662  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: February 07, 2022, 10:11:11 PM
I am doomed on trading
What I know is that fortune is indeed God's destiny.
However, trading is not destiny, it is a choice.
And to make a choice can't be done in a hurry, even more so when deciding something in a place that you don't understand yourself and haven't learned. This will actually take a very high risk for you and your child.

I can't blame you, many people are in the same position or almost more desperate than you. But believe me, despair is not the solution.
If you have already put money into trading, live it with taking profits, don't panic sell. But keep learning, because, without learning, your money will be wasted. You might expect to quickly make a lot of money from trading. But without knowledge, it's more like gambling.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 05, 2022, 09:41:52 PM
My prediction for this weekend matches
Valencia vs Real Sociedad Valencia won
Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid draw
What makes you think Valencia will beat Real Sociedad? In my opinion, the players' quality of Real Sociedad is better than Valencia this season. They also can perform pretty consistently although they seem not really well in the last 5 matches. While Valencia they are very poor, stay in 11th place, and only won 1 time in the last 5 matches. There is no hope to see them winning in the next match. About Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid, I agree if they may end the match with a draw. Both teams didn't have something special, even Barcelona is unlikely to have an advantage even if they will play at home. Their players' confidence is very bad since they have a big problem in all lines, especially in the attacking line.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 05, 2022, 09:29:51 PM
Now is ongoing Sevilla-Osasuna, the current result is still a draw 0-0.
Sevilla's performance is exactly dropping so far. After some matches that were drawn previously, today, can't they make a goal even 1 and become winning?  Cheesy
If we see from the statistic, Sevilla has a bigger chance. The ball possession is exactly great enough for Sevilla, with more than 70%.
But it is not effective, the shots are only 3???  Grin
Now is still at 72.
I am not sure about the result. I think that Sevilla can play well and easy to defeat Osasuna, but in fact, not really.
2665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: February 05, 2022, 09:22:13 PM
-SNIP-
Actually, when you are holding your Bitcoin in your personal wallet, you are investing your money. Although you may only do investing, you can get profits when you are long-term investments to a higher price later in some years. This has been proven by many long-term investors.
However, if you are willing to keep holding and staking at once in a Non-KYC exchange (it means you will go with P2P or DEX), I cannot guarantee the security of your money. I mean that you may find them on the internet, but not that kind of trust and reputable.
But, you can learn more deeply about Pankace Swap, there is also farming.
PancakeSwap is one of the good DEX.
2666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High ETH withdraw Fees, how to Solve on: February 05, 2022, 09:13:38 PM
I use Binance,  Kucoin etc crypto exchange for Trading, Binance use very often and I use Kucoin very rarely. But my main problem is high eth withdraw fees from Exchange to Personal wallet (MyEtherwallet). Have any crypto exchange with low withdraw fees?
So far, almost all exchanges charge high fees for ETH with also higher minimal withdrawal amount.
This is often killing a small player like me when I am going to add ETH as only gas fees in my personal wallet.
Before the gas fee was not rising up, still low enough, we can find some P2P exchanges that offer their service of transferring ETH as gas fee with very low fee. But right now? None is found, most end up with the high Ethereum fee.
What I know is that it is lower than others maybe at the FTX exchange. It is more affordable than others so far that I am using.
2667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I late to the party?? on: February 05, 2022, 09:01:51 PM
Either way, I know I’m late to the game, but is it still too late? What may be my best options moving forward??
Still cannot believe I slept on this for so long!!
Sometimes we always feel too late to do something. I've also felt that way why I just got to know crypto in 2017, not from before.
This is natural. But if we are already here, there is no need to regret it, everything has happened. What we need to do is how now, not before entering the crypto industry.
As long as we can take advantage of this golden opportunity, we will use it as best we can.
Instead of knowing crypto from the start but just watching it.
It's better to get involved, learn, and also collect money from crypto.
Because we know crypto business has diverse income fields. Not only about trading and investing but also various other things that can bring in money as long as we want to learn and try.
2668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 05, 2022, 08:55:34 PM
Looks like today is a pretty good day for St. Pauli, they will face Paderborn who are in 9th position in the standings,
So far, the match is still ongoing and FC St. Pauli's current position is winning with a score of 2-1 against Paderborn.
Paderborn today is also playing very well although they are still losing 1 goal. They can play well enough with their ball possession and also the number of shots.
Actually, they have tried hard by making a similar goal in the 37' by Dennis Srbeny. However, 7 minutes later, FC St. Pauli can again make 1 goal by Etienne Amenyido in 44'.
Well, the match is still at 65'.
Let's see the result, then
2669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Roobet & Rollbit on: February 04, 2022, 11:50:57 PM
We actually will not know about this matter, true or not, if both don't officially admit yes or no. And I'm sure that they probably won't answer it here. so we're just thinking and guessing.

And on what basis do you think so? Not something I want to know, but there will probably be a lot of questions, could you possibly know something.

But behind it, all, is this a problem?
Both of them are not scammers or fraudulent casinos. So, it doesn't matter who is behind the management. Is it breaking the rules?
It's also not proven. Wink
2670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man who lost 7500 bitcoin in a landfill asks gov't he wants to dig it up on: February 04, 2022, 11:44:55 PM
He is willing to give the city of Newport in the UK a cut of the bitcoin at a sum of $70 million so to be able to do this with approval of their local government.
I just can say " Good luck if this is exactly true".
Even this is actually difficult enough because not sure that the hardware is still right there. Or even the disk is still alive and can be operated again or not. Well, so many probabilities.
I think that it is only a matter of luck that he can find and get his Bitcoin back after so long time.
And this may be his super regret of the previous action.

"One man's trash is another man's treasure!"
It will be like this if the one who found it really knows what treasure is inside. But if they don't even know, the trash will end as trash and it might be recycled.  Grin

I feel most times the sons are under pressure of living upto their fathers legacies and that’s why they end up underperforming, but having said that it’s quite possible that some perform even better than their fathers, but in this particular case it didn’t happen.
Exactly, there will be certain factors that will influence the performance, both being under pressure because of the father and some other factors that may influence. Some sons may be happy with the history of their father, but some may be under pressure moreover if compared with the father's skill or achievement. It will give both negative and positive impacts.

Also it’ll be a difficult match for Hamburger SV despite their performances, I’m not entirely convinced that they can easily win this fixture, but is anyone planning on wagering on their victory?.
Ehm, actually I am not willing to wager my money on this match. But I think that Darmstadt will probably win  Cheesy
2672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins released during market crash on: February 04, 2022, 11:27:26 PM
It is undeniable that the condition of altcoins is also affected by the recent fall in the price of Bitcoin. Thus, most of the altcoins also experience market crashes and cannot avoid them. Not only new coins but also top altcoins such as ETH and BNB were also affected by the crashed Bitcoin price.

And of course, this market condition will also have a huge impact on new projects. We'll see how many new projects are aspired to, and how many are able to survive this crashed market. only a few are able to survive until finally able to follow the market movement to be even better.

One Ring  was released on Thorstarter  last week during this chaos and has experienced a 3X already, while having ongoing development. Which are your crypto picks during this crash?
I am not familiar with this new project. For, during this market condition, I will prefer to avoid new projects and prefer to focus on Bitcoin and some of top coins.
2673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: February 04, 2022, 11:21:37 PM
Some huge cryptocurrency scam which happened last year.
Quote
The biggest cryptocurrency scams of 2021
1 SQUID GAME TOKEN:
Perhaps this makes these stolen NFTs the greatest scam of the year after all.
Source link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/mashable.com/article/biggest-cryptocurrency-scams-2021%3famp
Not really surprised with these scams.
Well, the crypto industry is always full of good things, but on the other hand, we cannot also deny that in the crypto industry, we will always find scams and other criminals.
One of them is the never-ending scam project.
I remember how hype the Squid Game token was after the very booming film of this. Then, existed the token. Once I saw the project, I also thought that it will be a scam project or even a shit project.

Well, that is why in the crypto world, we must be more careful, become wiser and smarter once, for, we can see many chances of people to scam. Additionally, not everything that is booming or hype is good, not everything that looks very interesting and promising is also potential to give you money. Scammers are everywhere. Never forget to do some analysis deeply before we are going to invest or involve in some crypto projects or investment.

Who still remember Gianluca Gaudino from FC Bayern? He is the son of Maurizio Gaudino. Unfortunately, his son did not make it at Bayern and had many transfers in his career.
Some cases are like this, not veery son of someone can be like him at the past. I also have seen some players who are sons of very popular and professional players previously but cannot play as well as their father (in several sports).
Well, because sometimes, this is not about talent or gen, but this is about how they are doing the process and their skills. Moreover if compared to other players who are much better.

-snip-
I still bet for Darmstadt in the next match on Sunday. They still have a higher chance to win even only a few chance. Darmstadt is in the first standing. But we also cannot ignore that Hamburger SV also has played very well in some previous matches.
2675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Son of elon on: February 03, 2022, 10:16:19 PM
Stay away from any coin/token bearing a name, or trying to promote the name of Elon Musk or anything related to Elon Musk's
You are right, stay away from this kind of new project. It is only the game of pump and dump, and I am sure enough that it will end up being a shit project as usual, as the previous one.
I don't mind underestimating this new project, but we have seen many similar projects tat related to Elon's name.
I am wondering why people still want to believe and create a project with that name involvement.
Do they think this is still selling and will trend?
Of course, looking at the current conditions, the answer is "no". Moreover, it seems that more and more people no longer care about what Elon is doing and now Elon's dominance has decreased greatly.

In a third-world African country, Nigeria operated by Female CEO. Hello, friends am from Nigeria a country where government regulation on cryptocurrency is flexible according to the law,
I can see the news about this unregulated cryptocurrency in Nigeria. This is not exactly illegal, but it is unregulated. As I have read in this quote:
Quote
While banks and other financial institutions are banned in Nigeria from trading in cryptocurrencies, cryptocurrency is not illegal, but it is unregulated.

However, I am also a little bit confused about the regulation. Are you okay if using Bitcoin as one of the payment methods?
I know that it is unregulated. However, how is it about this?
Quote
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has recently sent a letter to banks and other financial institutions in February 2021, stating that trading in cryptocurrencies and enabling payment for cryptocurrency exchanges are banned.
Is there any new information?
I took it from this source.

2678  Economy / Speculation / Re: Evaluate your Bitcoin for next year on: February 03, 2022, 09:50:47 PM
Yes, Bitcoin has experienced many things during the previous year.
Some positive and negative sides came to make Bitcoin could pump very significant and also could drop very quickly.
One of the big news was about Bitcoin as a legal tender in ElSalvador and some other good news.
However, many FUDs were also spread during 2021 making the price couldn't pass $70k as expected.

From what happened in 2021, from how the market could change very drastically only in a few minutes, I can take some lessons again not to be greedy enough. Moreover, if we are willing to take profits for a short-term investment, I think taking profits on average is very important.
However, if we are not willing, keeping holding isthe best way. Never panic because the market always shows its tricky condition.

For this current condition, BTC seems like being recovering after the dump so much a few weeks ago.
However, we are still not sure whether the price can rise up again and maintain from the sudden dump again.
Just be ready with every market condition to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Libra/Diem is dead?
Yes, it is over, the dream of Zuckerberg to launch their cryptocurrency (DIEM) is over.
After going through various processes for a long time, even having time to go down and up again, this plan is finally coming to an end.
Not only because of the regulation but it is also complicated from the start.  Grin

2680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 02, 2022, 11:52:01 PM
..I laugh and talk about Bitcoin to the owner of that showroom. I was surprised to that the owner of that showroom want to sell his phone to me  for Bitcoin. And I asked him again, "Are you kidding me?"then He immediately gave me a bitcoin wallet to pay him. I paid him bitcoin and bought the Iphone 13 pro max.
Is BItcoin legal to be used as the payment method in your country? If yes, well that's good enough.
But if there is no law about that, it is always only between a buyer and also a seller. And everywhere, as long as they both agree, it doesn't matter, as long as the authorities there don't know about it (if there is a ban). If there is no prohibition, then just go on.

You can buy many of Iphone 13 pro max by selling 1 Bitcoin because it is expensive and its worth is equal to 20+ iphone 13 pro max and it is digital way to buy iphone 13 pro max using BTC as a payment asset.
You don't need to sell or spend all the whole 1BTC to buy that IPhone. And Bitcoin as a payment method is also a function of Bitcoin itself if available. So, it doesn't matter to use the BTC for payment. And the user has uttered what happen to his condition, so just be wise on your own ways.
As long as you are okay, why not if this can ease you do something. And if we are going to use BTC for trading or investing only, it also deosn't matter as long as we want.
