May tanong lang ako mga kabayan with regards to may recent experience.

What's up with the LA Lakers?
They brought back Howard, and now they're bringing back Rajon Rondo. Might as well, bring back McGee. This is going to be the championship reunion roster with extra twist to make it a solid line up.
I guess they have better chemistry with Rondo and Howard in the line up.
We can't trust Westbrook or Melo or the other new guys to blend in immediately with the Lakers system. So, I guess the Lakers management are looking to ease the possible scenario by bringing back these 2 guys.

It's news to me that the Lakers are getting back Rajon Rondo. I don't think that he will play heavy minutes because Westbrook will be the guy to do much of the handling chores, we may like it or not. Melo, Howard, and all the other veterans will just be there giving support because come playoffs, their experience is very much needed. Wonder what's the average age of this current Lakers roster, 36?  Grin
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 29, 2021, 02:36:53 AM
Caleb Plant will gain a lot if he wins this fight from being an unknown he will become a household name, I don't know who this Caleb Plant and what's his fighting style until his name pops up as the next in line for Canelo, there will be a lot of talks heading to the fight to excite the boxing community, Caleb Plant's title is the only one missing in Canelo supremacy's in the middleweight.

Caleb Plant is unknown to common boxing fans and an upset on this fight could increase his stock significantly but I doubt it would happen as we all knew how Canelo deals with all of his opponents, he never underestimates them and he makes sure that he would emerge the winner after the fight.

This could be Canelo's last fight in this division as they are planning to conquer the LH weight category if ever they will unify all the belts in his current division.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 28, 2021, 10:05:59 PM
What matters to him is he can sell the fight and Casimero's style is very effective because he was noticed by Inoue and the champion wanted to schedule a fight because he got insulted with Casimero's trash talk. Arum could make more money with the match of Casimero vs his cash cow (Inoue), but fighting a prime Casimero could potentially end result to Inoue's first loss.
It is true that his style is very effective and the both fighters that he's mentioning are also being triggered.

I think that this fight is more probable than the other with Donaire's talk of rematch to Inoue.

I think this whole thing boils down to who got the connection, which means whose promoter Bob Arum would entertain. Richard Schaefer who is the promoter of Donaire and Sean Gibbons, the promoter of Casimero, these two gentlemen should seriously talk to Bob Arum about getting the fight done.

Casimero's trash-talking on social media is half of the battle and he is successful with that as he got the attention of the boxing community through its negative that doesn't matter, what's important is they should have the fight done.

I can agree that the fight will happen if their respective promoters seriously sit down and talk. We all know that most fights don't happen because the boxer's promoter don't agree with the other's promoter. If it is up to the boxers themselves, they want it the soonest, but there are other promoter's consideration here. And regarding trash talk, I believe that's Casimero's style but without the real media, he is somewhat good person, he has even good camaraderie with Donaire's father -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSsU9KY2fIw.

Ohh, thank you for sharing the video above  Cool.

Donaire's father has worked in Casimero's corner a long time ago and yeah they are good friends and i think it's only Rachel Donaire who made things complicated and let's not also forget that the reason why the Donaire's have a spat on their family before was because of her. Behind every man's success is a strong woman they say lol.

It nice to see in the video that they all have a good time despite some verbal wars on social media and note that they are also all BISDAKS hehe.
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2021/08/25/philippines-looks-to-tax-hit-blockchain-game-axie-infinity-report/

Ang tanong dyan is pano yung percentage e di naman nila ma tetrace mga transaction mo unless you are going to declare it.

2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 27, 2021, 10:53:44 PM
It will have a significant impact if Plant knows how to use this advantage remember Mayweather beat him by exploring his advantage, Floyd is good defensively and perfects offensively, if he can polish his defense he has a good chance, style makes a fight as they say Plant should be ready to employ different styles and be ready go toe to toe like what GGG did, Canelo is good predator he is good at trapping his opponent.

Yeah, I agree that Caleb Plant should make use of his advantages but unfortunately, that advantage of him is not like that of Mayweather. The latter has lateral speed and footwork thus Canelo was having a hard time hitting Mayweather.

Unless Plant has that advantage, there is a chance that he can upset Canelo but going toe to toe might be a dangerous plan for him as Canelo is well known to have a granite chin and Plant might be the one to go down if this scenario happens in the ring.
2668  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CryptoZoon - Earn ZOON for every fight on: August 27, 2021, 10:37:50 PM
Yung PolkaMonster parang mababa pa value ng PKK (rewards token) so kinda 50/50 pa if ever ma balance nya ang economy.

Good news for SMB fans.

Terrence Romeo on pace for comeback in Pampanga games

Seeing Romeo playing with a healthy SMB, makes me believe that they might win the championship this conference. They have a lot of scorers and they are good in defense as well, CJ Perez and Romeo if they will play with good chemistry, I think they can carry the SMB to the championship, of course with the help of JMF.

Indeed it's good news, but what would make it better if he will not be injured again and he will finish the conference playing like he usually does in the past. Terrence Romeo is one of my favorite PBA players due to his style and moves on the court, and he impressed the fans more when he joined the FIBA world and showed his talent despite his size, so I would always love to see him play again.

Terrence Romeo is an explosive player and with that style, there is no assurance that he won't be injured again because that is part of the risk unless if he decided to tone down a bit so his body won't be affected but I guess he won't do that because the line-up of SMB now is laden with guards and for you to get that playing minutes you must show that you deserve it.
2670  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pacquiao vs Ugas rematch on: August 27, 2021, 01:41:11 PM
Damn, what the hell Manny is thinking. Seems like he is fooling his fans this time. Father time has already caught up with him, very evident on that Ugas fight, he can't avoid those slow punches that Ugas threw. His excuse why he had a hard time moving is he have cramps but Ugas was also not a hundred percent that time so if a rematch would take place then the result would still be the same.

IMO, Manny is so desperate to add more popularity to his name because of his political ambition. He knows that his political career is on the downhill since the time he took a swipe at the sitting President. He may think that boxing could save his ass but he is so damn wrong.
2671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 26, 2021, 10:04:04 PM
If you'll ask me, there's no need to advertise the product anymore as it's already popular in the market, and I don't think advertisement alone could sustain the future of the PBA. Just like the NBA or any other type of sports, their biggest revenue came from the gate entrance, and since there's no crowd in the bubble, they'll continue to experience losses and their funds might not be enough in the long run.

With this pandemic, every economy of the country is badly affected and the Philippines is not spared so I agree that even advertisements could not save the PBA if this pandemic continues for a year or two and no medicine for this covid. Vaccination and a breakthrough on how to treat Covid is what we want for everything to be back to normal and then there could be a live audience to help generate income.

2672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 26, 2021, 01:20:53 PM
Maybe, the time will come that more players will go abroad and play in leagues like Japan B-League because they can offer better compensation.

Speaking of the opportunity to play abroad, here comes another opportunity for players to play in South Korea. I don't how much would be the salary but this could have some impact on the setup of the PBA as for sure many talented players will grab this chance if the price is right.

2673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - Aug 14 on: August 25, 2021, 09:19:09 PM

is he afraid that he might lose in their second fight?

Did he said he doesn't want a rematch anymore?

I read some of the news that there's a possible rematch,

https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/6/27/22552396/teofimo-lopez-vs-vasiliy-lomachenko-rematch-looking-likely-boxing-news-2021

can you confirm?

I think a rematch is good for boxing as Loma has won his last fight and proved that he is still here, when it's good for boxing, it should be good for both boxers as they will certainly make some good money.

Ohh this must be a piece of good news for Loma and to all his fans as he might reclaim his belts. A rematch is what hardcore boxing fans wanted to see because of the manner Lopez won it, not so impressive.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgXki2CCjI0

Above is a youtube video and there you can see the reasons why he don't want to give Loma a rematch.

Wonder why Bob Arum didn't push a rematch as this would be huge in terms of income.
2674  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: August 25, 2021, 09:10:30 PM
Syempre hindi. Why Sky Mavis will pay for the tax e di naman sila registered company sa Pinas.

They are hitting two birds with one stone dahil na-promote pa nila yong hawak nila na tokens from the games and at the same time kumikita pa sila sa kanilang Youtube channel so dapat lang siguro patawan sila ng buwis.
2675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - Aug 14 on: August 25, 2021, 08:55:01 PM
Kambosos did not caused the fight to be delayed, the last postponement was due to Lopez getting infected by the corona virus. And Lopez doesn't want to and travel to Australia (Kambosos home country) to fight because of home cook decision (remember Pacquiao vs Horn)?
What does the home cook decision mean? I thought this fight has already happened and I just didn't saw the result or I missed it but it seems that it's postponed again and again. Hopefully they settle this fight so we can move on and see other upcoming matches.

Maybe what he meant is that Lopez is against fighting Kambosos in his home soil because of the possibility that the decision might be biased if the fight goes to distance and the decision will go to the judges hand.

We have this happened to Manny Pacquiao against Jeff Horn in Australia wherein majority saw Pacquiao winning the fight but the judges seems to see it differently because the final score show Horn ahead on three judges. And Lopez doesn't want that to happen to him.

So this fight will be held outside of Australia? I think it was a good thing that it was postponed to October and not August because it almost coincides with Manny's fight and ticket for this fight might not sell well.

It's almost a year now since Lopez defeated Loma and he might have ring rust so I might go for Kambosos because I have doubt in Lopez. Lopez may held the four biggest belt in his division but the manner of how he get it is not so impressive and why he doesn't want a rematch with Loma, is he afraid that he might lose in their second fight?
2676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 24, 2021, 11:32:30 AM
To be honest, I don't understand why you guys bet on Pacquiao. The odds are not attractive.

ML for Pacquiao is not attractive as the oddsmaker put it at 1.25 if I'm not wrong but betting on winning method with odds above 2, I found it attractive and tempted to put some on Pacman via Decision as I think that I would be an easy decision win for Manny as Ugas is flat-footed and Manny will put on a boxing clinic but I'm totally wrong hehe.

2677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 24, 2021, 11:15:40 AM
Since the Pampanga LGU has already approved the PBA's request to hold games in their place, here is an update on the scheduling once they resume playing. Playing almost every day like in the last bubble, who do you think does have the advantage in this scenario guys? SMB Beermen I think would be at the disadvantage as most of their players are in the late 30's and playing back to back could have a negative impact on their game.

2678  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CryptoZoon - Earn ZOON for every fight on: August 24, 2021, 11:01:11 AM
Pinagiisipan ko paren if magiinvest ba ako, wait ko siguro magmura kahit papano and wait for other reviews here.

2679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 23, 2021, 11:23:15 PM

If Casimero will lose this fight, maybe, his trash talking will slow down. So it is interesting to see this fight.

Depending on the outcome of the fight, if it will turn out a controversial fight that will have to go to the scorecard, maybe Casimero will continue with his trash-talking so he will get a rematch. However, Inoue does not want to go to the scorecard, as per his statement, he wants to beat down Casimero to the ground, so that's very interesting to see.

Casimero got into Inoue's skin and his trash-talking strategy is half-successful as of the moment because the latter really wanted to punish Casimero for his trash-talk against him but he must also be careful to not let his emotion got him.

Clearly, Inoue is the A-side if this fight pushes through but that would be offset if he will be fighting Casimero with emotion above talent and mind.

Napaka-komplikado ng usaping ito dahil and mundo ng cryptocurrency itself is a complicated thing.
