2661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price crashes as Chinese Vice-Premier crack down mining, trading on: May 21, 2021, 08:30:00 PM
It's as if the market never matured at all. For years, crypto-related news from China were no longer making ripples on the prices, but apparently it somehow reignited. The fact that the price is already tanking, it's making me think that we might see sub-$30k levels sooner. The volume on exchanges is weak, and no huge buy orders can be seen. It can only lead to more and more drop IMO.

As for Chinese miners, it's best to leave the country and mine somewhere else. A communist country would make sure that they will always have something in store for themselves at the expense of their own citizens.
Although most Bitcoin-er will still preach the hodl sermon, -i believe holding is imperial- but with the way the market is swindling to external Forces/condition is scary, in my country the social media is shaking with bitcoin drop, even those with no bitcoin, this only causes more tension/panic, which is a defective transition for bitcoin, I fear for the outcome of global adoption, would this cause global Panic sending shock waves around the world when a bad news is spread, or bitcoin is falling.
2662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or Binance Chain (BNB)? on: May 21, 2021, 08:17:58 PM
I was in a heated argument about binance smart chain and dogecoin the other day, and I think bianance smart chain is more of a Long term successful coin than dogecoin, bianance smart chain didn't have the influence of billionaires like Elon musk but it still successful so far, but dogecoin hard the those influence, and I wonder how exciting dogecoin would be, when Elon musk says it's time to drop out.
But bianance smart chain for now is not a rival to for ethereum, I think ethereum is an alt-coin with sustainability, others are maybe's until proven order wise, binance smart chain will be relevant for a long time, but so would ethereum.
2663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are other cryptocurrencies not like Bitcoin? on: May 21, 2021, 07:19:21 PM
If you are interested in why alt-coins are not like bitcoin, is either you are a newbie or just do Not understand crypto-currency, I can not attribute/place the success of bitcoin over alt-coin to popularity alone, if popularity was to be true then the list of coin in ranking won't change.
I think acceptance is more reasonable/likehood why bitcoin is above, I would be interested if you can tell me one crypto-currency acceptable means that doesn't include bitcoin.
2664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrencies are not linked to the policies or the economy of any country. on: May 20, 2021, 07:24:39 PM
From my research, the strength of the cryptocurrencies lies on the mining power of the people. An economic stability and/or crisis of any nation doesn't determine the strength and the weakness of the cryptocurrencies. This is a great factor of important hence no country, no matter how strong can monopolize or manipulate cryptocurrencies, therefore it is a benefit to developing countries as mine whose currency is always at the mercy of dollars and Euros . With the emergence of cryptocurrency, economic stability can be attained by less economically developed countries.
In the other hand, economically strong countries cannot aswell hijack cryptocurrencies. So, cryptocurrency is a currency for all.
Although it hasn't been seen as an alternative, level ranker for those countries, some of them even backlashes crypto-currency with Ban, also the way crypto-currency is used also, there are not many ways to use crypto-currency straight out without have to reform it into Fiat.

Crypto-currency can be free from any government but when countries can put a ban to it then it isn't as free as it should, I think the acceptance of crypto-currency should not be for the citizens Alone, there won't be a country if the government and citizens are at dispute, I think the government can accept crypto-currency, and then initiate more crypto-currency, atmosphere.
2665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The urge to quit on: May 16, 2021, 07:54:27 PM
What exactly aren't you going to quit the forum or Trading? I think they are two different things, the forum is here to make you more knowledge enrich about crypto-currency and more while Trading is a real field of work where you have to show the prove of your knowledge.
Although I have been learnt so much about trading am very patient with it and taking my time, crypto-currency Haas been the reason so many has left crypto-currency Early because they failed or got scammed in trading it
2666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Trust this type Offer on: May 16, 2021, 07:19:17 PM
I think maybe your email had been sideline by scammers to be used to send scam offers to you, I don't know how legit yobit but I have about them to much for them to get into such cheap scam. Maybe you should watch out for where you put your email into, scams can get you email into there target list and keep sending your email using many exchanges, channels, project etc as possible to get your interest.
So unless the official yobit can confirm this with prove, I think this is a scam and your email is exposed to many possible scams now and in future.
2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 16, 2021, 06:56:46 PM
It's game over for my favorite Barcelona to win the Spanish LaLiga title, it's quite embarrassing losing to celta Vigo after taking the lead in a must win match, now with a win for both athletico Madrid and real Madrid the title goes down into the final day.
I think Atletico Madrid has all it takes to make win there next match and be crowded the LaLiga champions 2020/2021 season.
2668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with bright future like Bitcoin. on: May 16, 2021, 09:29:14 AM
Every coin alt-coin has it own future, and if by future you mean any coin that will reach the bitcoin at time high, I think so long as bitcoin exist no coin would do that, many investors are fast to move/convert their alt-coins into bitcoin in a case where the alt-coin is dropping,
So when you want to go into alt-coins don't look for any that would be like bitcoin, you might never get any alt-coin like that, mine top admiration on alt-coins are
+ Ethereum
+ Dogecoin
+ BNB
+XRP
2669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 16, 2021, 09:15:33 AM
I think Barcelona gave away the league, and a chance of a Spanish league and cup double, now all that is remaining for Atletico Madrid to do is to win the last two games, which they would do everything to win it, could there be drama at this curtain fall stage of this season Spanish LaLiga.
Real Madrid if they win their last two games would be the first to benefit on Atletico Madrid mistakes if they make any in their next two matches, so it's right to say the league is now between them, but I would want a slip up from both Madrid team so Barcelona can snatch the league and become champions.
2670  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fake alert during p2p trade on: May 16, 2021, 09:07:27 AM
How did the scammer get to know the phone number of the person, was it given away or did the scammer research on the bank account details. I have heard of such scams, but I think on binance app with all the requirements, in verification, a scam can/maybe traced and tracked down.
I only do peer2peer with someone I have something on atleast and not to a total stranger, -no matter how good the stranger rate is- this is not the safest but it one that has worked for me.
2671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to spot common Bitcoin scams and avoid them on: May 16, 2021, 08:56:57 AM

No 1: Twitter Bitcoin Giveaway

In this method, what scammers do is to use an account that bears a close resemblance to that of a high-profile personality or celebrity, asking people to send BTC to a specific address and be sure to receive double of whatever they send within 30minutes. And this always led to stolen funds, because never will they send the BTC double just as promised.
So be careful...

Most high level influencers, highly regarded people in an area has a tick on there account, so this tick is to show that they are the original person, but this account can still be hacked, so avoiding such give away in Total is adviceable, I don't think they would do any giveaway wanting you to first send anything.

No 2: Email And Website Phishing

In this method, what scammers do is to create fake websites and emails similar to that of the original, all to dupe investors into entering sensitive pieces of information such as usernames and passwords, to enable them to gain access and hijack your funds.
So be careful and check all URL send to you via mail carefully.
Here also you can be sent virus by scammers to your email as an attachment in link format, if clicked the virus is activated, also delete and suspicious message, see to checking junk and spam for any activities you didn't authorize.

I would also want to shade light on YouTube scammers, scammers creating several bot account all pretentiously play to promote a scam traded/investor, also the clone/duplicate the owner of a channel asking you to write to them on their contact.

Even here on the forum you can get private messages so you have to be sensitive and knowledgeable about scams.
2672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What percentage of investment BTC vs ETH on: May 15, 2021, 07:09:20 PM
I also thought doge reaching that price was the end, before I realize that this is crypto-currency there is no end in rising price or price drop, so doge can still do both anytime from now. coupled with the multiple soldier elon musk brought to doge coin, this is not to make you believe in dogecoin, but to help you to know you have research to do in your investment. They may be a next break out coin or more billionaires coming to play around, but they are only short term influences. Crypto-currency is best enjoyed when you learn it yourself.
2673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has become the rich man's playground... on: May 15, 2021, 06:52:17 PM
I think some of the billionaires and savouring the popularity contest, I say some billionaires/rich folks because their should be some billionaires who had valued crypto-currency silently or some who crypto-currency made rich and still in it. I don't know if it's for meme, or for motivational quote or what so ever I think the rich are taking the spotlight of what crypto-currency is for, I got a call from a friend wanting to start cryptocurrency and she asked if Elon musk can make her rich, sounds stupid but this is what is it, well is all said in the post, I think a wise crypto-currency user should ignore games coming from game chasing billionaires.
2674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto (bitcoin) is better than traditional money? on: May 15, 2021, 06:36:47 PM
Both fiat and bitcoin has its own advantages. Fiat can easily be used anytime and now that online wallets are relevant you don't need to pay in person, in the other hand bitcoin offers more versatility it is fast and can be transferred around the world within seconds and it is also transparent, the blockchain really eliminates some threat such as being replicated.

If its a daily transaction having fiat still is better, but in terms of saving and moving your money  bitcoin is a lot better; if I were to ask I would rather compare Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies to banking since it would make more room for discussion.
I think you are referring to the present days yes, all the bricks to a more crypto-currency world aren't laid, despite been wholely a Bitcoin-er -crypto- lover, I use more Fiat than crypto-currency, not that I love to but just that I am without choice in doing so, and to futher frustrate the whole thing there comes the crypto-currency ban.
I know and check the advantage crypto-currency has over Fiat and Intelligently conclude that it's much, anytime I spend time in the banking Hall to make Transaction or correct errors from them, I realise more how the world needs crypto-currency.
2675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English FA CUP Season: 2020/2021 on: May 15, 2021, 06:26:54 PM
A very big congratulations shout out to Leicester city, they have just won a major trophy, I don't know how there history is with trophies, but I know in recent football era their trophy cabinet hasn't be shining, I would not say they deserved it More than Chelsea, because both their journey to the Finals were tougher than steel.
It's such a pity your tuchel and his boys I think amongst the two final they are in this would have to them been the simplest/easiest, they can just watch back the games and know what to do in their forth coming UEFA champions league final.
2676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: May 14, 2021, 09:27:55 PM
For me it's always about the project, I think I always want what's the absolute best of the project, because if not so it's going to come to and unexpected end, I have some friends who aren't on the forum I have introduce to campaign I advertise, and even help opened an account for them and other knowledge they should know about it, now to my earnings uses, I think it's more flexible than fixed, and it's depending on how the week is,
I have tried some games on campaign I work for even though I have to lose or win, I just feel I should have experienced it.
2677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 14, 2021, 09:18:17 PM
I don't think Manchester city is in there finest form, although Foden and mahrez didn't start the squad was star studded but could only squeeze the win by hard labour of Newcastle, and if I were a Manchester city fan looking at the UEFA champions league final I would be scared, they might have won the league but a dominant play through the build up of the UEFA champions league final against Chelsea would give Chelsea a sense of fear and despair, I think Manchester city are my favorite to win the UEFA champions league, but I am no longer sure of this.
2678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Road to Hero! A challenge to self, and challenge to yours! on: May 14, 2021, 08:39:56 PM
You might be wondering why am I posting this but I'm not yet a hero and this isn't really my journey. Then let me tell you why.

I've already seen a lot of motivational posts from users in here that they either got promoted from newbie to Member or Member to full member and so on. But I guess I never seen one with someone getting close to what he wants to achieve. It is really motivating to see someone ranking up but we never see ourselves be challenged an motivated with the next rank we can achieve.

Now I'm posting this as a challenge to myself that within two weeks I will be a hero member after years of working hard for this to come. I am currently 78 merits away and I challenge myself to fulfill it within the time frame. How? By posting some ideas soon that would help the community. I also aims to be more active after all inactivity due to being busy on both working and being a college student.

Then, I challenge all of those who are a hundred near activity and merit close to ranking up, or just anyone, to push yourself onto the limits and achieve the higher rank. We all can do what those others who posted their journey can. Some of us, like me, personally had some hard times finding motivations to pursue further in this community, yet we only need to challenge ourselves. If you are at any rank and you are close to being ranked up, challenge yourself. What should I do to achieve it? If you have unmerited posts feel free to lend us your unmerited posts. I currently hold 51 sMerits and I really saved this for this moment to see other users grind to the top and willing to give it for each and every fruitful and notable post for the community. Any rank you are, feel free to join me with the challenge to myself and a challenge to yours!

If you plan to participate in this two week journey grind and earned enough merits to be ranked up (regardless of how far your activity is), then be back after two weeks with your progress and story. Goodluck to us! Let's make every post and time count!
I am very sure you are up to the task of achieve the hero member and maybe before the time, although  I don't like too much of pressure,
I think everyone just have to keep on working for the next rank, you never can tell who would take a look at your profile and just get you to that rank
Honestly I would say you have been working hard am I don't think you would stop doing so even if after you get the hero rank but I think you should be patient to at least get closer.
2679  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: May 14, 2021, 05:11:47 PM
We saw the past from $10 to 60k is going up and up. So it sure it will reach $500k next destination.
But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
Do people really still think it goes to 0?

There soulnd't be any sale presure given the history that we see Bitcoin only going up in value
Imaginations can cause people to go into panic selling off,  loafty imagination like the one you have thought of bitcoin next break is at five hundred dollars, I think this comes with investor expecting the most and thinking of a dip, I think many panic sellers has a whole lot of expectations and are also moved by what and who made them to invest, let say I made you invest in bitcoin, really you didn't grab anything you just invested because I told you, if I panic and sell you may also follow in my line.
Panic selling is also normal with short spell investors especially when the prices goes lower than what they can bear/take.
2680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: May 13, 2021, 09:31:26 PM
RESULTS:

Aston Villa 0-0 Everton

Manchester United 2-4 Liverpool

Liverpool are still in the hunt for an automatic Champions League 4th place finish with Chelsea and West Ham also chasing it.

I think Liverpool came ready to win Manchester United at all cost, United made that very uncomfortable for Liverpool but still didn't have all it takes to pick up a point in tonight match, I think Liverpool is just making it look like they could qualify automatically for the UEFA champions league, but I think that's not possible, or rather it's to late for Liverpool to turn it around, Chelsea are my hot pick to complete this season top 4 in the league and an automatic qualification for next season UEFA champions league.
