It will be thrilling if such move of C. Ronaldo to PSG is successful, for every football fan it will be a pleasure to see the two millennial football greats play in same team but such moves requires a vital push and switch of Mbappe to either Real Madrid or Juventus from PSG as the young lad is so keen on moving to Real Madrid from most media reports. It will be sweet experience to behold if it does happen

2663  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmamba's saddest action but it is lesson for beginners on: August 16, 2021, 08:09:18 PM

Now why did I post it? The reason why I am learning from this post:

1: Begging always take time it starts slowly but reach always top.
I'm not sure what crypto terminology "Begging" represents. By any chance did you mean mooning or a bullish trend

2: Stay steady with what you grabbed at the beginning, just don't lose hope you will get the best return.

3: Don't panic if you invest in a good project, just stay calm. It might take time, but the return is a must. (Which is a mistake I also made in my beginning and all those projects are now on top.)

4: Crypto is an unpredictable market. Lots of shit is here, but if you are good, then it is able to make you rich.

No need to hold on to shitcoins if you made a bad decision to buy one during your early days.  Returns is not a must, the law of gravity does not apply here. Newbies always love stories like this "I bought xx coin at $0.03 and now I made millions holding xx coin" blah blah blah. Holding in this case is just self deceit....your statements in 3&4 is controversial.

2665  Other / Meta / Re: Scam campaigns should not be allowed to stay on: August 16, 2021, 06:19:57 PM
That would be because scams are not moderated and as such no action can be taken by the mods against them. Scams are almost impossible to fully regulate and any attempt to do this could create a false feeling if safety while there would still be tons of scams around.

The forum has a trust system which helps to notify other users of possible scam and high risk situations, but each user is solely responsible for their actions and in-actions;
This is a pseudonymous forum which emphasizes personal freedom and therefore also personal responsibility, so scammers are common. When trading, it's best to assume that everyone is trying to scam you, and act accordingly. Use an escrow, and take note of each user's trust ratings next to their posts and on their profiles. When you are more familiar with people around the forum, you should define your own trust list rather than using the default.
Good point! The trust ratings is a warning to others to disregard any information put out by a flagged account. But still I don't think the negative flag is enough punishment to deter the participants. Plagiarism is a bannable offence, I think participating in an OPEN scam campaign for the sake of making money deserves the same punishment
2666  Other / Meta / Scam campaigns should not be allowed to stay on: August 16, 2021, 05:51:25 PM
The forum is guided by rules, without this rules it would be total chaos and anarchy as any lawless community would be.
Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.
I have a question for the house if giveaways are banned why can't scam signature campaigns be banned or totally removed from the services board? Lately there have been some sig campaign that have been associated with scam allegations. If left unchecked, it may get out of hand and more alts will be created for the singular purpose of participating in such shady campaigns with high pay. Negative trusts aren't doing much to stop participants from promoting such campaigns as greed overtook them. I reckon its time to employ a more aggressive approach say the same ferocity we use for giveaway threads. If companies want to advertise their product/services, at least they should respect and obey the community rules. What do you guys think?
2667  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Signature Campaign on: August 14, 2021, 10:58:05 PM
There is no need to keep this thread going since it has been moved to reputation from beginners and help board. I hope newbies... others would learn from this. Account farmers are making the most of the ccampaign, funny enough there is no vacancy for a junior member to participate. Anyone who has a member rank in the forum is nod longer a newbie and cannot plea ignorance. I will lock the thread now. Thank you all for your contributions

The only loop hole I see in the Chelsea team is the midfield. N'Golo Kanté isn't a mid fielder. This was realized in the super cup. Chelsea would need support for  N'Golo Kanté as a proper fielder. Lukaku is a great signing and a outstanding addition to chelsea squad. Lukaku has improved since his time at inter milan. Romelu Lukaku is a all-round center forward

What a way to kick off the English premier league....Arsenal lost their first game of the season 2-0, it's a bummer. I was expecting some counter from the arsenal side, well maybe its just beginner bad luck. Arsenal fans aren't supposed to be surprised btw they should be used to being disappointed by their club by now.
2670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do we do when a campaign is discovered to be a fraud on: August 13, 2021, 02:12:01 PM
There is a whole lot of difference between a "reputable" member and a veteran. You could safely refer to high ranking members as veterans and not reputable. To be reputable takes strength of character (to be on the part of what is legal and trust, away from scam) which being a veteran member may not accord anyone. It comes with trust one earns on the forum and not ranks. To put it right, those you referred to as reputable members who are supporting an alleged scam site are just after their bellies for what they're worth in weekly payouts. No shame and conscience at all.
Earning a few bucks is more important to them than reputation. Most of the participants seem to believe the negative tags will be removed in the future.
This is the first time I'm seeing ranked members applying for a campaign managed by a newbie.
That is even an ominous sign for fraud, yet users overlooked.
It clearly states on the campaign thread "We have an option to allow users with negative trust. As long as you are a constructive poster". A campaign that welcomes participants with negative trust is a big red flag.

Tottenham are in talks with young Inter striker Lautaro Martinez (23) now. Maybe they are thinking of the possibility that Manchester City can still sign Harry Kane this summer and they want to have a backup plan for that. But as Inter have sold Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, I assume that they wouldn't be willing to sell Martinez also.

Inter are in desperate needs of fund sand Tottenham are in a confusing state; sell Kane and buy Lautaro or Keep Kane and buy lautaro and have a very lethal attack for the coming season. With Romero signed to bolster defense line. It’s mixed feeling at Spurs.

Will Harry Kane end up At Manchester city come August 31?

maybe at this time Tottenham hotspurs are in a dilemma considering they keep kane or sell him to Manchester city, because with fresh funds from the sale they can recruit Lautaro Martinez from inter Milan, but until now Tottenham hotspurs still want to keep kane because they already know with the quality possessed by the tall striker, and this is far different from what Lautaro Martinez has, moreover he has not yet felt the atmosphere of the premier league
Inasmuch every team deserve a prolific striker, I believe Tottenham hotspur holding on to Harry Kane will be dealt a big blow to them on a long run. With Manchester City bidding for him with a sum of 150Million, it will be of spurs best interest to let him go as psychologically Harry is out of the team due to their stale of not winning trophies and come to think of it, getting Martinez from inter Milan as a  replacement will be a best move for the team and Tottenham hotspur business as it is expected that Lautaro fee won't be that enormous as compare to the amount they will get when Harry pend his signature with Manchester City.

He should have gone to a top club in Europe to test his abilities. He could have gone to the Premier League. Ligue 1 is the fifth league in Europe. There is no good team here except PSG. Only PSG reigns in this league. Moreover, the PSG team is not entirely new to Messi. Messi has played with Neymar, Di Maria and Icardi before.

He might even eventually go to the Premier League, but English clubs traditionally don't make such high investments. On the other hand, PSG is currently the only top club with the money to pay a Messi. For as you say, the French league is the least competitive at the moment.

Messi is now 34 years old. At the age of 36, if he joins any team in the Premier League, he will not be able to perform well. First of all, at the age of 36, he can't keep fit. He will get injured after performing in 2/1 matches. Secondly, players in the Premier League players need more speed. Messi dribbles brilliantly but is slower than other star players Ronaldo or Mbappe.
The English premier league is very competitive, there are no favorites. It would take him some time to get used to premier league, the mode of play is more aggressive than Spanish la liga. The injuries aren't something to laugh about. A simple match in EPL could result in a career ending injury
2673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 13, 2021, 08:23:02 AM
Real Madrid will try to sign PSG striker Kilian Mbappé in this transfer window.

The Spaniards are going to offer 120 million euros for the player. If the Parisians refuse, Real Madrid will count on the fact that Kilian decides to move to Madrid next summer as a free agent.

I'm afraid Mbappe's time at PSG is numbered either way. PSG is trying to get Christiano Ronaldo to replace Kilian Mbappe in 2022. It seems PSG wants to create a super team with Lionel Messi, Christiano  Ronaldo, and Neymar. This trio is one I would love to see on the pitch. If this happens, PSG would be invincible and dominate the league

Haha, what can we say about newbies not reading the thread, when senior ranks literally write the same thing in the next post.
OP, you probably haven't seen the existing topic in the rep? But in my opinion, a similar topic can also exist in beginners, since everyone who comes across these fraudulent projects does not even suspect the existence of other subsections.
I don't go to the reputation section often but I read the topic by Jollygood though thanks to Mbitr.
Newbies do not actively participate in the discussions in reputation, they do not know enough yet to get that much involved. Beginners and help is where most newcomers visit

As for the company itself, compared to 1xbit, their participation fee is quite a penny, and those who come into the field of view of JollyGood will acquire a negative tag without winning anything at all.
Yes, their reward is small when compared to 1xbit. I think the motivation behind the participation is not just the money but also the fact that the manager doesn't care if participants who apply had negative tags. This campaign is literally a safe haven for users with negative trust.

Betking.io Signature Campaign is one of such campaigns that have unresolved scam accusations in the forum. These campaigns do not care about their reputation neither do the participants of the campaign. Kudos to JollyGood for being at the fore front fighting this scam campaign
2676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Covid-19 affect On Bitcoins on: August 12, 2021, 04:39:16 PM
The pandemic affected Bitcoin price as it did to the stock market. Bitcoin dumped significantly in march 2020 weeks after stock market crashed too.

Covid has positively affected Bitcoin.

At the height of the pandemic, WHO, CDC advised folks to reduced handling of conventional money, banking transactions, and automatic teller machine (ATM) transactions were brought to a halt to avoid spreading viruses via contact. At this time bitcoin became the most available online money enabling a more secure transaction process as online shopping exploded.
Online shopping exploded? How many businesses in your local community accept bitcoin as a means of payment or have a bitcoin ATM at their disposal?
2677  Economy / Reputation / Red Trust Signature Campaign on: August 12, 2021, 02:19:16 PM
I found another campaign (Betking.io Signature Campaign) on the service board that has scam allegations that is yet to be resolved. The manger of the campaign is a newbie. I believe the account was created just to manage this particular campaign. The account bought copper membership same day the campaign was launched.
Already it has 8 red trusts and those who applied for the campaign are also receiving their own reward of red trusts. I can't help but compare this campaign to 1xbit campaign which has been trending for some time. They have numerous scam accusations but they are still active on the forum. I call them the "red trust sig campaign" because anyone that joins their campaign gets a red trust.
2678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: reasons for bad trading on: August 12, 2021, 01:53:42 PM
Trading is not a get rich quick scheme.

Some people are enticed by the notion that trading brings in a lot of money and has the ability to make one rich quickly.

Others are enticed by the huge portfolios of old traders, and the successes they post online.
As a result of this misconception, many people quickly want to get into trading and we all know how badly it ends for them.

They do not concern themselves with learning the rudiments and also learning from the in between the line excesses from masters who have become conversant with trading.

Not being patient enough to learn completely to adopt a strategy, and being in a hurry to make money from trading are leading causes of bad trading.

Everyone learns eventually that trading is a not a easy task contrary to popular belief. This is why starting with a demo account is important for a newbie in trading. Trading a live account go beyond knowing the basics of trading, there is a lot you can learn as a trader using demo account
2679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to Trust, Fiat Banks or BTC? on: August 12, 2021, 09:51:28 AM
I do not completely trust any second party with my money. I trust myself that's why I like Bitcoin. With bitcoin I get to be my own bank, that means no long queues waiting to access my money,  I'm the sole manager of my funds whatever I need to do I do it myself. And I take full responsibility for anything that happens. I'm very confident in the transparency and security of bitcoin.
2680  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 12, 2021, 08:04:28 AM

Everyone sees volatility as a bad thing but in general it's helpful, what goes up and doesn't come down is HYIP and in a matter if time they crash hard and never grow again, BTC is the best because it's highly volatility I see that as balancing and surviving for long term
You make it sound like volatility is the backing of Bitcoin. I don't understand how high volatility helps in a currency's survival. I scalp the small dumps for profits and I'm okay with the occasional dump but volatility is not a factor that as you say balances and survives bitcoin. According to your theory, stable coins will eventually crash since they are not very volatile
