Well, if they're not the same person, they have a very similar writing and thinking style. The above stop, turn around and give himself some ZTC is classic FC. Looks like the ZTC scam follows FCs pattern of 'borrowing' ideas, promising lots, and delivering.....not so very much. And, yeah, I am noticing a lot of similarites between the writing styles of FC (FCs?) and solracx. Must be coincidence, tho', I'm just being a cynical and evil dave....surely FC and/or solracx wouldn't lie to us about this? Hmmmm...... @LiQio...I do like the cat pictures, tho', they are definitely one of the best features of nex so far. And a cute cat always distracts me from asking FC any questions.... |

hmmm... I thought FC was Perez ...  FrictionlessCoin has a lot of personalities accounts, this is a hard fact... Maybe he confuses them sometimes... You know with all the scams, lies, insults, etc. he runs at the same time mixups can happen No doubt. This almost calls for a scammer accusation thread... or two. |

You've seen paper wallets and stuff right? The reason these work and still retain their value is because they have the private key stored on the block chain, if somebody tried this everybody would be able to tell because they'd get some of the notes, check the blockchain and then notice that the private keys etc. are fake.
Counterfeit Bitcoins are an extremely unlikely scenario right now, we've already had exchanges try to fake their trade volume and it was spotted very quickly.

If you compare Maple's code with the codes of COL, BUCK and others, I'm sure you'll find similar anomolies.
I can't think of a better way to manipulate a coin's availability and market value. Can you ?

I am interested in your opinion about what is happening to cryptsy lately. Cyptsy used to add new coins and in my opinion was leading altcoin exchange. In last weeks cryptsy added only known coins (which were already 'pumped') and very few really alternative ones. On the other hand coinedUP invested in new coins making more and more people to leave cryptsy in hope of profit from not yet known coins.
I heard that cryptsy is performing some upgrades to their page, but can it be really explanantion for stopping trusted users earning money on altcoins? Alterative coin's market is changing rapidly, most of us can not afford to wait weeks for them to fix their problems...
Being honest, I want to add that I wrote this in hope that someone from cryptsy team would read this and finally understand that it is unfair to punish users for cryptsy's problems. Maybe we can somehow influence cryptsy together?

For example Dogecoin was called scam and looking at it's volume it is 3rd altcoin now. In my opinion not adding coins will also hit cryptsy. Cryptsy is used because of this big variety of coins. If @BitJohn stopped adding new coins, thing that what made cryptsy unique would disappear. I like cryptsy, I got used to it and I don't really like to go somewhere else. If the majority of these coins were innovative, stable and fairly launched, I probably wouldn't be complaining as much. This demand is no extstant? So why people are buying it? It does not matter what made them buy coins spambots or real people the fact is that they are buying it. So demand exist! I once walked into a casino with $30 and won $2250 (major pump). After a few hours of winning /losing(small pumps and dumps), I ended up leaving with $1700. The turnover (volume) I created during those few hours was $7000-8000. Does this imply that I'm a big spender ? Nope. The same goes with any exchange's volume numbers. I could setup 2-3 accounts and trade thousands of coins with myself all day. |

Question (may have already been asked/clarified): Say you have 100 workers (equal hash rates) in a pool and the reward is 42 dents. Does everyone get 0.42 dent? Or do 42 workers get 1 dent each and the rest 0? Is the dent divisible?
Its actually 4.2 dents. oops I see your point. Its one of the reasons I will not mine 42. The other reason has to do with how friendly 42coin is to the parasite multipools. |
