2661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: May 07, 2022, 10:48:39 AM
Despite no serious bull in the market for sometime,  I am thinking to buy more because the price at which bitcoin is right now I can be able to afford it. I planned buying when the price was at 40$ , the amount of bitcoin I planned to buy is a small quantity which if the market eventually go dip i may lost 30% of it. But now I feel even if I buy and it goes dip it wont go dipper the way the price is now.  What do you think about my plan?
Your opportunity is here now, so you just need to log in and start making purchases because bitcoin is on discount right now. A bitcoin accumulation strategy when the price drops is the best way to get more bitcoins at a lower price than before, but you also need to consider DCA because price drops are still possible even if you firmly believe that a recovery has occurred.

Buy on dip is a good strategy nowadays to expect profit, but always do whatever you can afford to lose because we don't really know what the future holds even though bitcoin has convinced us of its potential.

2662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: May 07, 2022, 10:39:07 AM
the young age of the children is around 17 years old where children can be said to be adults where children of this age are already thinking about their future, so at this age it is the right time to be taught what bitcoin is and the steps taken to enter the crypto market
At the right time I will also consider telling my son about bitcoin but now he is too young to understand about digital money like bitcoin because to be honest my son is not yet 2 years old. Lol

Obviously every parent should teach their child and inform them about the times and also about new financial systems like bitcoin when they are ready. This is an important thing for them because actually bitcoin is not an enemy that needs to be hidden from them.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 07, 2022, 10:27:02 AM
The victory achieved by Inter Milan mader Milan even more motivated to win over Verona, Milan will struggle to get its position back after being captured by Inter. Milan and Inter can still win the Serie A title at the end of the season, Inter who just won over Empoli have two games remaining, while Milan will still have three matches to play. Verona is the opponent that Milan must beat in the next match in order to return to the top of the standings, because Milan's appearance in the previous few matches was very consistent.
Milan's consistency in winning all the remaining games this season is certainly highly expected by the fans, especially because they are very close to the title or Scudetto this season. This week they have to seal a win against Verona where Milan can overtake Inter again in the first place, maybe it's not easy but it's certainly expected.

Until now I still believe Milan can win the Serie A title which was previously won by Inter last season, but this season I think Milan have a very good chance to ruin Inter's title dominance by winning all the available points. I don't know if Milan will succeed or not, but they have been pretty consistent so far.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 07, 2022, 10:17:43 AM
it is quite interesting to see the teams at the bottom of the standings who have the desire to continue playing in La Liga next season. Cadiz, Levante, Granada, Mallorca and Getafe of course there will be changes to the standings in the remaining matches this season, Cadiz in the previous 5 matches played inconsistently with 1 win. if cadiz performance doesn't change of course against real sociedad and madrid they will have a hard time getting 3 points to secure a position from the brink of relegation.
Mallorca, Cadiz, Levante, Granada and also Alaves so far have the opportunity to stay in Laliga next season because they are only a few points adrift. Especially Cadiz and Mallorca, they will probably have a better chance among other teams to stay in Laliga next season as they are 1 to 4 points clear of other relegation zone teams so far.

The rivalry between these 5 teams will certainly be an interesting spectacle for the rest of the season, but I've not watched quite a few of their matches except when they were against Real Madrid or Barcelona. Mallorca and Cadiz might stay, but who knows.
2665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 06, 2022, 09:41:39 PM
Right, that is why they can make better preparations and also set aside some certain key players to rest enough and also have other relations, not for the La Liga matches. Because it is too risky, how if one of the key players is injured when playing in a La Liga match, it will be very risky.
I am sure that Carlo Ancelotti has his best strategy to prepare for this very big match of the UCL final.
Real Madrid have already secured the La Liga title this season, and now it doesn't matter if they don't play their first squad again in the few games before the Champions League final. But I hope Ancelotti can keep his players fit and rested to prevent unwanted injuries, so Madrid's next league game may not be as exciting.
2666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 06, 2022, 09:36:36 PM
Am still surprised how genoa  was able to defeat Juventus,  genoa is one of the weak team in the Italian league and they realise 2 goals against Juventus, it is surprising genoa is in the relegation point, I don't even expect them to play a draw with team like Juventus . Juventus  need to wake  and try their best to play like a top team in the Italian league.
Genoa's match stats are ahead of Juventus, but Genoa's win seemed to involve a bit of luck as they got a penalty a few minutes before the end of the match.

However, Juventus will certainly no longer be affected by a bad result in this match as they will be safe to qualify for next season's Champions League with a 10-point lead over current Roma. Roma may be able to cut the points gap to 7 if they win because they having not played their 36th game, but Juventus are still safe.
2667  Economy / Gambling / Re: crash game some new ideas on: May 06, 2022, 09:14:45 PM
I haven't come across a casino with 0% HE, but has it existed before?
As far as I know, HE is the casino's way of profiting from the gamblers where the bigger the percentage of HE, the greater the chance of profit the casino gets from the losing gamblers. But every gambler of course has their own choice about the percentage of HE they prefer, maybe the smaller the percentage the better to consider.

Crash game is an easy and fun game but has let me down on several occasions with a losing streak. hahaha
2668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Amount to safely transfer from exchange to hardware wallet on: May 06, 2022, 08:52:33 PM
For example, if I paid $1000 for 1 bitcoin which I bought on an exchange, and now that bitcoin is worth 10,000.  Would I be subject to capital gains taxes on it when I transfer it to a hardware wallet specifically for long term storage, and not to spend?
If you are using a centralized exchange, then there is a limit to the number of daily withdrawals you have to pass by completing KYC. I don't know what the maximum daily withdrawal limit is for final-tier KYC, but you shouldn't be taxed on it.

Taxes are mandatory if you convert your bitcoins or crypto to fiat, so if you withdraw your crypto to a hardware wallet then you may not be taxed. The simple example is the same as when you make a transaction between wallets where you move your crypto assets from wallet A to wallet B which in reality is not taxed.
2669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 06, 2022, 08:37:54 PM
On the other hand Milan must not concede tomorrow I think this is very important to bring 3 points for Milan on the other hand also Verona is not an easy opponent this could be Milan difficult or in a draw but it will definitely be fun to see.
Milan has the chance to overtake Inter again but of course Inter have hope to stay on top if Milan fail to win the match against Verona. I just think that Verona will try to put a lot of pressure on Milan in this match so Milan have to realize that by strengthening defense and also scoring goals. Of course I also want Milan to win the title, but when other teams have the chance to win it it is also difficult to convince just one of them.
2670  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 05, 2022, 09:56:55 PM
Save while you can, invest while you can, and never push yourself to do both when there is no need. You need food, you need clothes, and you also need fun and that's why you need to meet your needs before saving and investing.

It's true that that way we will have a good hope of making a profit in the long run (depending on what investment assets we have), but we shouldn't do it just for the money because actually we still need to invest for health in the long term.
2671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 05, 2022, 09:50:04 PM
What a win for both teams and its gonna be an intresting final now for sure. Rangers made a really surprising win and won with a disadvantage from last game. I think Frankfurt is the favorite in the finals and im going with them to win the europe league
Hahaha, that's football. Sometimes it's surprising and sometimes it's really annoying.
But by the way, do you believe Frankfurt can win the Europa League title this season? For me they are the best at the moment in the final, but anything can happen in that decider.
2672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 05, 2022, 09:16:11 PM
-snip-
I'm no longer interested in discussing too much about how Real Madrid won or how Manchester City lost that match because now we're really going to focus on who exactly is going to win the Champions League title this season. I would support Real Madrid to win it, but Liverpool are very ambitious to beat Real Madrid in this season's final.

I hope Ancelotti has a special portion of training for his defenders from now on because Liverpool are a very different team to the Manchester City, Chelsea or PSG they have beaten so far. The defense still needs to improve, so it's important to work now to stay focused on the title.
2673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 05, 2022, 09:06:21 PM
Frankfurt and Rangers finally made it to the final of this season's Europa League after beating their opponents today. Frankfurt are doing really well and they are really very motivated to do well in the Europa League even though they are not doing well in the Bundesliga. But I was surprised by Rangers' victory because in my opinion Leipzig were favorites to the final, but Leipzig's hopes were dashed at the hands of the team who lost 1-0 in the first leg. Congratulations to Rangers and Frankfurt for reaching the final. Chances are I would think Frankfurt would win the title.
2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 04, 2022, 09:47:33 PM
Real is actually playing quite bad for most of the time and they are hanging on by thread while their opponents are making chances and missing them. Then comes 10-15 minutes when Real starts to play unbelievably well, they make few chances and they score all of them. Same story every game in champions league knockout stage for Real. Can't believe they are still in, let alone favorites to qualify at the moment  Smiley

If they are loosing in final I am placing bets on them like crazy.
There is only one thing that made them win this match and qualify for the final, and that is the will not to give up even with just a few minutes remaining and the rest is luck. Real Madrid were lucky Manchester City failed to hold on to their lead and Madrid were also lucky about Benzema's penalty and now, congratulations to them. I didn't say anything, they weren't great because they were just lucky not to fail with their bad game.

Yup, mucho bueno.  Real was kinda nervy for most of the match until Rodrygo. But so is City.  It's very disappointing.  And right now with just a few minutes left, City should quit with the tiki taka thing and play direct football.  They're looking like soys out there.

And you might want to join us in the other UCL thread, the one JollyGood started if you want to talk more football. Less noise and less spammers over there as the thread is self moderated.
I also have the same thoughts, of course I think Real Madrid is too bad to qualify in this way to the final. hahaha, but good thing they got away. Oh yeah, I'll be there.
2675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 04, 2022, 09:11:15 PM
Edit:  I think this guy below me is a Real Madrid supporter.  Falconer?
Hahaha, now how. Real Madrid is really good isn't it?
Real Madrid are not so bad with luck and they have been very successful so far. The penalty prize has helped them to take the lead and they will probably win this match against Manchester City. Anything can still happen, but I think Madrid will qualify.
2676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Semifinals! on: May 04, 2022, 08:33:16 PM
Real Madrid has not registered a shot on target this far, which tells you how difficult it is to find some chances but overall Real Madrid has had better goal scoring chances in front of goal except they have had poor execution tonight...Can this game register some goals already  Roll Eyes Benzema or Junior do something 🤔
It will be interesting to see what happens in less than 20 minutes of this second half but Real Madrid are under a lot of pressure now and they are playing very carefully now because they don't want to concede. Real Madrid's defense so far has not been great but Courtois has been the best bastion in goal.

As far as Manchester City have been successful enough to do a few goal attempts and this is the time, Mahrez scored a beautiful goal that Courtois was unable to stop.
2677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches maximum, target $80K BTC on: May 04, 2022, 03:23:11 PM
For what reasons do you expect bitcoin to rise to 80k this year? For reasons of global crisis, stock market crash, war and tensions in the world or a new pandemic coming? It is not yet clear to me for which of these reasons bitcoin should break the downward trend and start rising. So far it seems to me that we can see a new growth to a new ATH after a new halving after 2024.
The main reason why people expect bitcoin to be bullish again and hit ATH at $80K this year is because it wants to make a profit. Yes, maybe ATH can hit this year but maybe not because I think this downtrend looks right until the next halving. I don't think why we should ask someone who is optimistic and wants to enjoy bitcoin ATH this year, but they should have good analysis to back up that optimism (not just agree/no).
2678  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: May 04, 2022, 03:14:29 PM
Meanwhile I like the 2 options that the OP has, and those are gold and cryptocurrencies. Gold was one of the investment assets I owned even before cryptocurrencies existed and I never thought gold was one of the bad assets to have in my portfolio. Then, I also have crypto now in my investment portfolio and I don't think I should ignore both.

Indeed I admit that in the last 1 decade cryptocurrency is an investment asset that has actually benefited quite a lot of people. For me anything that is profitable may be good for investment assets in the long term, so it doesn't matter how big the profit is because the most important thing is that we can make a profit from the asset we invest regardless of whether it is gold or cryptocurrency.

2680  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and investment on: May 01, 2022, 04:32:36 PM
Thank you for all your feedback in this thread, it should be no matter how small your input and opinion can be useful and a good consideration for me and other users to continue to think positively about financial growth during soaring inflation. We can't expect much, but we have to move forward to do something good for the future. So investing is still something important regardless of how well we are able to do it, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle as long as all needs are met but for sure nothing should stay consistent with the percentage when the need for money is greater than the amount of money we can invest.
