WARNING: They have an affiliate program. RED FLAG
wat... Expedia has an affiliate program Ticketmaster has an affiliate program Apple has an affiliate program... Are they all scams too? Affiliate programs do not make something a scam. The scammyness of this site itself makes it a scam. Well... Ticketmaster is pretty close. So is expedia. And Apple is a cult.

A 1 BTC transaction at $100 would mean you get $95 in your method of choice in a very short amount of time.
Then you're not buying "at 5% of mtgox last price." You're buying "at 5% off of mtgox last price." or "95% of mtgox last price."

That is very and totally surprising.

That one was actually about the FPGAs, Phinn.

This is going to have interesting implications on ongoing delivery bets linking to the products page for specs.

Hey Nathan, which BFL product did you order?
The 25 GH machine or the 50 GH machine?

You know Allah is gonna be mighty pissed at you if you don't repay?

Are you sure you know where their offices are?
No. Bad neighborhood. Better take some resilient people along.

omg this whole charade from BFL is so funny.... BFL's value as a company is the entertainment they produce. They may as well be a sitcom, broadway musical, or full fledged movie production in the comedy genre.OMFG ROFL! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I'm on my way to the trademark office to register "ComedyCoin".

You obviously have no idea so I would rather you not have an opinion. This started due to myself being cyber bullied (maybe ask your lawyer about that term).
Oh, I saw the threads in question. We actually had a quite similar situation with a scammer sockpuppet screaming "cyber bullying". Our lawyers response was a hearty laugh and the advice to [not paraphrased]"ban the fucker and all his IPs"[/not paraphrased]

On a second note: You mods need an internal forum to discuss stuff like how to appropriately react to situations like this. I can understand theymos wishing to be as open as possible, but washing the linen in public ultimately weakens staff position.

A piece of advice from a mod of a forum a bit larger than this one.
There is a certain class of user we call "legal trolls". This type of troll aims to undermine moderation staff and silence critics by looking for loopholes in the forum rules/netiquette, deliberately misunderstanding wording in forum rules/netiquette and deliberately misapplying legal terms or citing laws that are not even applicable to the forum in question.
It is the digital equivalent to the real world situation where a guy is tying up bouncers in discussion at a club when he is not allowed to enter.
The matter of legal trolls was discussed with our lawyer who came to the following conclusion.
[paraphrased]The solution is of course to remove the offending user from the premises. An internet forum is the digital equivalent to a private club. The club owner is well advised to remove club members that are souring the club by harassing club staff or other club members. He is also well within his rights to do so. Note also that this does NOT constitute an infringement on free speech, because free speech laws in all jurisdictions apply to the relation between government and citizen, NOT to relations between citizen (club owner and stuff) and citizen (club members). [/paraphrased]

What I find odd is that two separate sites of theirs are down at the same time. Surely they weren't both on the same server or were they?
Well, all of their sites respond from the same IP. Can you tell me if there are any serious wallets online? Are any backed by real corporations? That have IT departments I mean.
Not that I'm aware of, no.
