Are you able to explain how exactly players played fraudulent as you claim? I did not.

Funny you mention Newspeak, as this is exactly what is going on. George Orwell wrote an essay on this topic exactly called "Politics and The English Language" where he details the purposeful degradation of speech and thought in order to exert political control. It is not long at all, free all over the web, and a very enlightening read. I have actually read that essay before. It is indeed insightful.
When it boils down to it, language is just a set of axioms and rules derived thereof. Control the rules and you control the dialogue.

Ennui and cynicism, we're just moving numbers around to up the happiness bar. That's it.

should we care more about "spam" comments - Yea probably, but as long as it's not fud frankly we don't care, you could post "this is a weird project" or "who cares about privacy" and we probably wouldn't delete those either
Right. As long as it's not negative, you'll let trash through. I see. Too much of a bother, eh?
Inundating your team account with merit is not something that makes sense. That's artificially increasing the reputation of the posts, whether you care or not. When a new system is introduced, shouldn't you generally check to see how it works and what effects it has upon other systems? If you had done so, you would have only sent 1 merit. **assuming you were ignorant

I believe language plays a significant role in human psychology. Some words are "scarier" than others, I am sure there is a psychological benefit to using euphemism, these propaganda guys are clever, they don't do things for no reason. George Carlin was simply calling them out, he saw through the psychological manipulation. It's enforcing an equivalence, subconsciously or not, through synonymous words. For example if we create new terms for homosexual: rainbow dancer pit digger The former is associated with lighter or happier terms whereas the latter bends slightly towards negativity. I believe what happens, though, is there is a cultural push toward a certain connotation (given the most common tone/inflections) for given words. The "less abrasive" language nowadays seems that way because they were not yet given the overarching negative connotation but were pressed to initially seem positive. That's why it's really never colloquial language that's used: to obfuscate any cynicism and to reset the tone to 0 so that it can be morphed into that of a softer connotation.

Sure you can ridicule factually the grammar, but that's missing the point.
The point is that certain people seek to gain power over others by creating positions where they can dictate proper speech.
It's all about the power. Well, that's the more serious way of looking at it. Pushing a narrative, innit? By controlling one's language, their way of communicating, you in turn control the way that they're able to think. If they cannot express an anti-X idea then nothing will come to fruition when one tries to oppose it. Something similar to Newspeak from our classic dystopian book

The idea of PC/soft language is ridiculous. Carlin did a piece on it that you can watch. All that you're doing by calling retards mentally handicapped is creating a tautology: it doesn't change the definition. If the intention is malicious, there is no intrinsic difference. It's the same thing as calling someone an unmarried man as opposed to a bachelor. The use of this kind of language is obfuscation. It's akin to tautologies when dealing with news about war. Silly. Propaganda. Why confuse people to "avoid negativity" when you're still discussing the same thing?

THIS WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST SCAM EVER.
I WAS SKEPTIC OF HIM GIVING 20BTC COS I KNOW DEAN IS NOT THAT GENEROUS. I NEVER KNEW HE HAD A SELFISH PLAN TO LURE INOOCENT PLAYERS AS USUAL. WHEN THE CONTEST STARTED, MANY BIG PLAYERS WHERE NOT THERE. BUT 4 HOURS TO THE END OF THE CONTEST, VERY BIG BETS STARTED POPPING UP. QUESTION NOW IS. WHERE WHERE ALL THESE PLAYERS DAYS BEFORE THE CONTEST.
CONCLUSION: DEAN LURED GUYS TO PLAY, RIGGED THEM OF THEIR CASH, THEN USED HIS BANROLL TO PLAY AD KICK OFF ALL WINNERS. BE SMRTER NEXT TIME SCAMMER I could not have put it better myself. You are absolutely right, scammer Dean Nolan had a plan to lure innocent newbies or gullible players on to his scam betking website. The reason he cancelled the Christmas wager and refused to pay over 20 BTC to the legitimate winners was because he was not happy so many people won so many BTC and he did not want to pay them. The theory is half-contrived. There is the possibility of fraudulent play but in consideration with most wagering contests that are +ev, few would start betting large amounts prior to the final day, since it does not guarantee their position. Much of the time, you will see players enter high volumes within the final hour (or even final minutes). This is parallel to when there were weekly wagering competitions: if you inspected the betting amounts on the final day as opposed to the others, it would be a huge dichotomy.

No. Just as I conflate account trading with buying reputation, the same can be said of merit exchanges.

In the end you just giving others youtube channel to be viewed, so what are we really studying at the first place? We need something more reliable that you can give us here, if there is only some youtube watching to become pro players, then everyone will be no need for this topic and no discussion, so what ia the point then? Give the guy a chance. I read his posts and seems he is trying something. Reading his posts gives me the feeling that he knows his tea. No, he doesn't. OP is correct in ignoring his posts. Honestly, take a look at some of the post history. HH review is way different than telling someone "fold on X" because the former is actually of substance whereas the latter is something that is exploitable and is only useful when teaching basic strategy. [ Nice thread on poker]
What format of hand history is preferred here? What have you studied? (i.e. books, threads, other resources, etc.)

-snip- How about like this then? The developers posted an update about [info] on [platform]: [link] This sidesteps the issue of plagiarism. Or better yet, just add the link? [blurb] source: [link]

At least for desktop, here's a function that can resize the size of posts. Bookmark it and click whenever necessary (I haven't done any conditions to check for "Arabic" local section but this can be easily done) javascript:(function()%7Bvar posts %3D document.querySelectorAll('.post')%3Bvar quotes %3D document.querySelectorAll('.quote')%3Bfor(var i%3D0%3B i<posts.length%3B i%2B%2B)%7Bposts%5Bi%5D.style.fontSize%3D"2em"%3B%7D for(var k%3D0%3B k<quotes.length%3B k%2B%2B)%7Bquotes%5Bk%5D.style.fontSize%3D"1em"%3B%7D%7D)() Let me know if there are any issues at all. I don't know much of JS, but I'm learning.

What should we (arab community) do more than posting this suggestion in Meta? We are still waiting action/response from Mods. Any suggestions?
Use larger font. Prefix every one of your posts with a [size=15pt] or something similar.

No. If there was no clear idea of how to pay users without having access to their wallet, then at best they are incompetent.
