2661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 11, 2022, 02:16:43 PM
Betting on prematch seems very dangerous these days. I’m not informed that Nuggets will already out there main players in the game. It sucks whenyou noticed it after you check the game result for today. Anyway most of the expected teams to win indeed win today especially Mavs and GSW. It's good to see the old Klay Thompson game come back again since this is crucial for there playoffs run. If Klay continue this explosive performance on Playoffs, I’m sure they can beat Suns easily with the complete line-up.

In the last couple of games, I stay out of pre match betting because it just destroyed some of my parlays. That's why I just do live betting as much as I can, see how the teams are doing specially in the first two quarters. Mavs didn't rest Luka so obviously they have a good chance to win against the Spurs. But the Warriors is still good without Klay, as Jordan Poole putting a show.

Same here, betting earlier on the games when the regular is on the last 2 days is a much more risky move as they likely decide that they will sit their superstar/star player in the last minute before the game starts. Betting on live will somehow reduce that risk as you can more analyze the game because you know who the players were and the situation. Well, the regular season is now over and tomorrow is the first day of the play-in tournament.

I got the Nets bet, this will be intense and they're playing on their home.
2662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: April 11, 2022, 01:45:18 PM
^^ Yeah, this is the possibility, we know how they robbed Pacman before and this could happen to Haney as well. So Haney should watch out about it and should be wary that the judges might be biased. The best thing for his is to score a knock out so that the judges are not going to be involved. Used his technical skills and make Kambosos not comfortable, this is the only way that Haney will win in this fight, knock out total control of the fight.

Pacman seemed to have really been robbed a win. In this case though, I think it'll be a fair fight. Both are on their prime and are expected to deliver what the fans are looking for. Still, seeing a knock out would be amazing! But maybe not on early rounds. I love the thrill of watching great fighters fighting it out and outwitting each other with their unique styles 😁👊.

I hope it will not happen again, otherwise, the boxing organization might think of banning fights in that country if they see that there's an obvious robbery. We cannot prevent people from thinking that way if Haney would lose via decision as they can always connect it to what happen in the Pacman vs Horn fight, so let's hope that we will see a clean fight.

Haney knows it's possible to happen again, so I'm sure his plans includes knocking out Kambasos so there's no more controversy in the fight and he will be declared a clear winner.

The question is if he can knock out Kambasos.. Not a good reputation for the country to host a boxing event if they will do the same they did to Pacman. Maybe this time it will not happen again as the world is watching closely and they might be banned or sanctioned by the organization, and they don't want that to happen that big boxing events will be banned in this country.

This is a hard fight for Haney as he is outside US, so he has to train hard as Kambasos is not an easy opponent to crack.

Exactly, but he has to train hard if he wants to win. That's the only way to beat Kambasos who is also a very disciplined fighter.

I bet that the Australia is already in the industry's hotlist because of what happened last time with Manny Pacquiao, this time they will look further and make sure that these issues won't happen again in the future because this is also a big fight that many people have been waiting to happen.

And for Haney, it might be best to do his best to crack Kambosos down before the scores will reach to the judges and let them decide. Having a knockout victory is sure cannot be robbed. We know that Haney will also struggle as he is not a knockout stylist but he have to do it even if it's not easy.

Well,  Australia will be in the hotlist more if this event will turn out bad. Why? George Kambosos is from Australia himself and the event place is in his favors. I think issues will arise once the fight would be rigged knowing that it will happen on George's country. Devin Haney is a great fighter with have more K/O% than Kambosos but many would really anticipate Kambosos to win with his recent fights is mostly by Knocked outs compared to Haney that mostly wins unanimously. Still, if Haney managed to make use of Kambosos energy and aggressiveness against him, he still can win.

Correct! The whole industry and the fans around the world will watch this fight closely with hopes that this time there's no issue like that will arise in this fight, I think Australia knows that and I bet they wouldn't do such thing now because if they pull that technique once more then it's over for them. No more fights that will happen in the said country.

It's much better to watch a fair fight because these two boxers are good, and both of them have the same capabilities.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 11, 2022, 01:06:14 PM
What a bad day for the Dallas Mavericks their star player Luka Doncic has suffered an injury during their last game of the season, everyone has already asked the Mavericks what's with them? what did they let their star players play during this last game? injuries such as this one are hard to heal in these few days remaining before the NBA playoffs, he might be back but he will not be 100% condition and that would affect their performance versus the Utah Jazz.
This is not good, I was expecting that Dallas has a chance to win the NBA Finals but without Luka, I don't think they'll pass the first round of the playoffs.

Luka Doncic injury update: Mavericks star suffers calf strain in final game of regular season vs. Spurs

No update yet regarding on how serious the injury is and on how long he'll be out.
I hope it's not too serious so we will see a great playoffs.

Yeah, I think this is the risk of playing your superstar in the last game of the regular season. As you can see, majority of the stars chooses to seat out and watch the team play because we really don't know what will happen.

And so in this case, the gamble didn't paid off as Luka got injured. We just hope that he can still play in the playoffs as they are going to face the Nuggets in the first round if I'm not mistaken.

Too bad for them, if they have just let go of their ambition to overtake the Warriors on the 3 seed then this wouldn't have happened to their star. That gamble is seriously risky and the result they have now got them in a much dangerous position. As of now, his calf injury isn't yet reported if it was just minor or a serious injury. I hope it's just a minor tho.

Mavericks will face Utah Jazz in the first round while the Nuggets will face the Warriors.

Cryptos have been counting the ups and downs in a balanced way lately. A coin that increased by 15% today, 2 days later we see that it has decreased by 25%. To what do you attribute this fluctuation?
When will cryptos enter Taurus month? Does anyone have any enlightening information on this subject?

When can ETH catch up with BTC?
My answer for now, ETH will not be able to catch up with BTC.

When you see how the difference between Bitcoin's market cap and Ethereum's market cap is, then I can make sure you can answer the question yourself when ETH can catch up with BTC.

As of now, we can clearly see that bitcoin has dominated the market, so no altcoin could surpass the marketcap of bitcoin.
To see the bigger picture, the current dominance rate of bitcoin is 41.6%, the rest belong to the altcoins, both real and shitty projects.

https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage

However, there's no assurance that bitcoin will always be the number 1, but like most people said, they don't believe bitcoin will be replaced in the top spot, so the chance bitcoin getting replace is very slim or close to impossible.
2665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 11, 2022, 09:50:27 AM
Well, we just have to focus on their current upcoming matches. Casimero and Butler is about to happen while for Donaire and Inoue is on the next months.

And these trio could land a match for each of them maybe after several months again or possibly by next year. So it's going to take a lot of time before it happens and we just have to wait for their matches for now.
After Inoue vs Donaire rematch, we will probably see either one of them against Casimero next year in the 1st quarter because this year just too short to have some preparations as Inoue vs Donaire's date is June.
That's very likely.

These three in the triangle will be the individuals that are likely to have a match with Casimero so whoever is going to be their next interest for their match then it will happen.

But we have to wait for that long and let's all just finish their matches before going that far. We don't know if the match or next fight will be announced by that quarter you've mentioned but yeah, everything is possible.

I hope the winner of the Donaire vs Inoue fight will not chicken out once Casimero will call out the champion. Casimero has been waiting for this opportunity to prove to the world that he is the best bantamweight out there, but he is not given a chance as their promoters are just trying to protect their fighters since they know how risky it is to fight Casimero.
2666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 11, 2022, 09:09:37 AM
I don't know if they are at that scenario before, but I remember SMB had been and won the series, Ginebra is different though.

Yes, SMB has done that before against Alaska and the turning point of that series is when June Mar Fajardo returns on that series.

Different from Ginebra as I don't consider a Japeth-less Ginebra should struggle against Meralco.

Totally agree mate. Justin Brownlee is the key for the GSM comeback on this series. Tim Cone is a very smart coach and he already beat Norman Black before on there previous championship match. GSM players is always relying to JB. When JB performance is good then his teammates show good performance too and vice versa. I don’t know what’s the problem they encounter they show weakness after there 1st quarter lead until they failed to recover. I almost thought GSM will get the lead after there 1st quarter performance.

They were not able to sustain their dominance, Brownlee was defended well in the 2nd half, the reason why his production is lower compared to game 2. Japeth Aguilar's defense will be missed, unlike the Bolts who have Almazan and Hodge doing some pretty good job defending brownlee too.
2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 10, 2022, 02:00:05 PM
So I am still hoping Ugas can pull an upset this weekend.
Wow, I think you are the only one here who cheers on Ugas to win. If that would happen, then there's no problem with negotiation of the fight between Ugas and Crawford, and if Ugas will again upset a favorite, that would a 3 straight upset wins for him.
2668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 10, 2022, 12:24:03 PM

Inoue is too small to KO Donaire, as long as Donaire will be careful and always ensure his moves are calculated then for sure he will give Inoue some problem. Fans are eager to watch and know the outcome of the game because the fighter that wins this fight will possible have a fight with Casimero.

You are wrong with that, Inoue hurt Donaire in their first meeting, he can target the stomach and his opponent with vow down. It was just Donaire is strong to survive but he wasn't anymore engaging aggressively after that heavy blow in the stomach.
2669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 10, 2022, 12:05:33 PM

Ginebra -1.5 @1.84 vs Bolts, the handicap will increase as the game approaches like the last game so better bet now.

I believe, the opening was -2.5, it was now down to -1.5.. Hmmm... I smell something fishy with this line movement, I don't know but I have a feeling that Meralco will win tonight, might as well take the live bet, I'm taking the Boltz if Ginebra will have an early good lead.

An intense first quarter with Ginebra taking the driver's seat 27-22, I think this will be a close game so your strategy of betting for the Bolts when Ginebra is leading might work in this game.

Brownlee is in a beast mode, hope he can sustain this until the end of the ball game.

Ginebra had a double digit lead but they finish with 8 points lead in the first half. We are now in the 2nd half and Meralco seemed to be coming back. I got Meralco +6.5 during the break, just in case they'll lose, at least I have an extra points to fight for.

Great timing, Meralco now is leading by 2 points, 58-56 is the current score.
The pregame line looks like a trap, I hope you guys did not fall for that, and of course, I could also be wrong, that's why I didn't place a bet on the winner of this game.
2670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 09, 2022, 05:29:38 PM
Well, what I'm saying is about the interest could really be change even if he has already said his interest of beating Inoue last year. But a lot has been changed because both of them got to have their own match.

With the order of the WBO, he needed to match with Butler first and that has delayed their face up but that's totally fine. We will see if that tag line really suits him.

Up until now, we are waiting for the next fight of Casimero and the results.
So til then, we don't know what will be his next plans.
For now, we are sure that Inoue vs Donaire re-match will happen, and let us see how will this pan out.
I don't think Inoue will not give a good fight on this upcoming one because that will tell him what's next for him.

As for Casimero vs Butler, I will already that fight into Casimero's favor but what I wanted to see is how would Casimero end Paul Butler. is it via KO or decision? I hope it's the first one because this fight will be a toe-toe-toe match and not a "come and chase me until the bell rang" just like what Rigo did against Casimero. That fight surely doesn't entertain me.

After Inoue vs Donaire rematch, we will probably see either one of them against Casimero next year in the 1st quarter because this year just too short to have some preparations as Inoue vs Donaire's date is June.
2671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 09, 2022, 05:07:55 PM
@Distinctin. The promoters might give GGG his trilogy against Canelo only if he gets the victory versus Murata dominantly and convincingly. I am quite certain Canelo will not agree with GGG on anything if GGG wins with a close decision against the Japanese fighter. I reckon it might be a close decision because GGG is old. He will be 40 years old on the day of the fight. Murata is also taller with a reach advantage of 2 inches and he is also younger. The fight will also be in Japan. I will not be shocked if the corrupt judges will give this a split decision for Murata.

Wow, the truth is that I had not thought about that, but you make very interesting points, apart from GGG's age and the difference with Murata, I think that Murata has a slight advantage and it is the so-called "irreverence", perhaps due to the fact of being more I don't have much respect for the experience or the "history or trajectory" of GGG, but I particularly tend to analyze many things and the effect that age has on the sport, and sometimes age has a great influence on being somewhat slower and having more limitations, but this influences a lot in soccer or in a sport where you have to run a lot, but in boxing maybe not, because by keeping the muscles active, the performance can be better or maybe more forceful, I hope that the trilogy will take place , GGG needs it, it would also be an excellent way to close his career with a good winning streak, Murata may take more experience and his career becomes more interesting.

Not just GGG who have to win his fight but also Canelo, and both of them has the chance to be getting upset in their respective fights. We can read more about that in the thread made to them "Canelo vs Bivol".

I can't really believe that GGG's age is already a disadvantage to him because he's just fighting a 4 years younger Murata and that doesn't mean that the latter is younger then it's automatic that he has the advantage. I think we forgot their background and experience, GGG in age of 36 has achieved and defeated better and stronger opponents than what Murata had of his age now. A boxer or athlete can be slower as their age grows but that process can be slower if the boxer has been continuously active throughout those years.

Well sometimes experience will play along the way, so we will see how GGG's will affect him or not. Hopefully he will still have the body to beat Murata and then we proceed to the GGG vs Canelo because that will be the biggest fight of 2022. Murata will have this so called home court but it doesn't matter if GGG will defy his age and show that he is still in great shape. So it's a road trip again for GGG, and for sure everyone here is excited to see who will win this fight.

Well, it seems that you got it right! Murata only lasted 9 rounds and he can already barely fight on the 7th round and only managed to defend himself even if his defense is breaking bit by bit because GGG is really looking to knock him down and produce a KO victory. GGG still have those capabilities we discussed, he proved it today against the Japanese boxer! Murata's camp threw a towel when he knocked down and ended the fight with a TKO.
2672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 09, 2022, 01:54:51 PM
Game 3 odds are up again, take Ginebra again while it's still early, I'm sure the odds will move again, the current odds is only -2.5..

https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/philippines/pba-governors-cup/barangay-ginebra-vs-bolts-6251607edd7b3d8bf8e8b6af

over/under remains 190.5, I think it's going to be a very defensive game.
The odds is great, will surely take Ginebra for this one as well because I know the momentum is with them and they can really take the lead against Meralco.
The odds might change hours before the game, this is a good early catch up. Though of course we can't still underestimate Meralco, they are no longer the underdog here, both teams did a great game in the past 2 games and both of them can do more in the coming games.
Only a slight underdog and we can understand that since Ginebra is always a crowd favorite whoever they will face. They proved that they can beat the Meralco, so why not give them another chance, I won in game 2 and I believe I will win again tomorrow.
As if there was a significant change in the odds, the odds are just moving from -1.5 to -2.5 for Ginebra, so there's nothing new in the current odds, it's just that it is an opportunity for the Ginebra bettors as it's easy to cover that spread in case they'll win.

What worries me is Ginebra's defence, they let the Meralco come back from a high of 20 points advantage, their lucky Meralco was not able to complete the come back.
2673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 08, 2022, 03:05:21 PM
Just try to analyze the age difference,
Murata 36 years old
GGG 39 years old.

not much of a difference, right?

I have pointed this out before that's why I don't understand why age is a factor and considered a disadvantage for GGG. 3 years gap is really nothing. They are both already past their prime.

GGG is also around 35-36 years old when he fights Canelo in his super-prime status but still, the latter struggle to beat the sh*t out of GGG.

Like I always said, Murata's only advantage is the homecourt and the full support of Japan's people on his back. GGG is a tough wall to defeat and having a strong moral is not enough as an advantage.
Having the crowd wont really be enough as we all know but the boost up because you are fighting in your home country plus having that support will really be giving out that emotion but wont be enough on beating GGG>

Its not surprising that people would really be looking for the factors specially on age because we know that it would really take some toll on boxers performance.
Cant blame them though but GGG could still fucked Murata on this fight without any doubts.
It is true that Murata have that advantage because he is fighting and standing in his own ground and the audience are surely full packed with Japanese as the most spectators on the fight will be there people but yes I agree, that fact alone won't be enough to take down GGG as he doesn't have any advantage aside from that.

Sure that take some toll but most of boxers who are experiencing that is those who aren't active anymore and only getting some pro fights once every 2 years or so.
2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 08, 2022, 02:35:10 PM
It's true that having Ben Simmons is a risky move to them especially if he's actually going to play in the playoffs and not in the regular season where his skills in the team or he will be fit or not should be tested first. However, they haven't much of a choice now if they want to be the champion this season because they are really vulnerable in their defense and having Simmons can somehow provide that role. If indeed Simmons will fit in their system then that would really advance them and help the present duo.

By the way, I recently saw a video in which Ben Simmons airballed a few free throws during the Nets practice, and it means that he is still far from his former playing shape. Honestly, I even doubt that Simmons might be helpful for his new teammates even if he is fully healthy during the playoff series.

That's already not new because he's been struggling to do that even before the issue and it's not his best asset that's why 76ers kept him before they traded him for James Harden. He can adjust his shooting skills in the summer league or even before that but now is not the right time to experiment if he can still shoot or not especially if it's really needed. What he can do for now to help the Nets is his defensive mindset because that's what they lack, that's why they're still losing even though Durant and Irving contributed big points for the team.
2675  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic consequences of Russian-Ukraine War on: April 08, 2022, 06:15:29 AM
We already feel the effect of that war, the oil price has increased drastically and it has affected everything, in fact, in our country, the inflation rate has increased from 3% to 4% just this month, so it really make people struggle especially those who are just earning a salary enough for their basic needs, now it's not anymore enough.
2676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 07, 2022, 05:35:35 PM
^^ Brooklyn made a huge comeback now, KD and Irving bringing the game alive in the last 2 quarters and now they have taken the lead in the last 3 minutes of the 4th.

This is going to be close, but I think the Nets will win this game, and hopefully they can cover the initial spread of -6.5.

Yeah! They did cover the spread!

That was some great basketball by the Nets after the halftime break, both Kyrie and KD played for the entire second half, that shows how much effort they make and how great a force both of them can be, I'm really glad they were eventually able to cover.

Yes, they managed to cover enough of it. They really started slow in the first half that's why the Knicks had them and dominated them in the 1st two quarters of them game but they clinched and have snatched the lead in the 2nd half and all the way until the 4th quarter ends. Durant also got a triple double.

For tomorrow's game, I have 76ers +2 vs Raptors and Grizzlies +3 vs Nuggets. Both are on their road games.
2677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 07, 2022, 04:52:25 PM
Let's hope that it's really what is happening, or best if that case is just a rumor to distract Casimero. There are things really that we don't know happening to their personal life, we know Casimero being a trash talking but we didn't know he has a history of sexually harassing women.
It's more a distraction just like what everyone is saying. Couldn't be from the side of Butler but from other people that just want him to bring down.

But just as the others have been saying by being neutral, it could be true as well. As for his side, he wants to get his whole focus to the match and eventually when it's done and he has won, he'll start to fix and manage this issue and hopefully he can speak for himself about it.

For now, let's say, we give Casimero the benefit of the doubt. There are entities that will try to distract any boxers, it's called psyche war, not just in boxing but in all other sports. Sort of mind games you played with your opponent, if he cracks then you win.

However, Casimero is battle tested already, and he shouldn't be bother by all the noises around him and should just focus on the fight itself.
We will see how Casimero will be affected, I mean he jump ship from MP Probellum and then there are some chances in his corner if I'm not mistaken and then the legal battle he has in the Philippines. True, he is battle tested, but this seems to be another battle, it's a psyche and mental. And we don't know how prepared he is. And the we will see if in the actual fight, if Casimero beats Butler convincingly and with another knock out, then obviously is has no effect on him.
You mean from MP Promotions to Probellum? Well, I hope that Probellum has nothing to do with the rumors that have been spreading now because from what I read in the past article, Probellum's main cashcow is Paul Butler even before Casimero decided to sign with the same promotions with Butler.

If we're talking about psyche war then that battle is not new to Casimero anymore because he's also used to do that but the only difference is that he ain't spreading rumor just like what Butler's team did. But I don't have any worries at all that he is distracted by those rumors nor the lawsuit that was filed against him and the fact that we aren't hearing about it anymore means that they've already settled it behind the curtains.

We will just see it for ourselves if indeed he's affected or not, but the chances is that he really ain't affected about it at all.
2678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 07, 2022, 04:16:50 PM
^^ Why not? but it depends on how much money you are willing to throw on him. I mean smart money should be on GGG. But anything can happen in a blink of an eye and that very attractive odds might sway some gamblers to put money on Murata for an upset by either knock out or judges decision.

Yes, it's much more clever if your bets would go on GGG as the chances the of him winning is higher than Murata. I wouldn't waste some few dollars on betting Murata because I'm really seeing that a chances of upset on this match is somehow slim.
But what do you think guys, can GGG pull a knockout on this? If yes, what typical round would that be? I'll appreciate to hear another opinion.
TKO you mean? Maybe in round 6 or something later on this one but im not really that familiar about the stamina and endurance of Murata but basing off with an opponent something like GGG then that would really be that

exhausting that much and wondering on how long he could stand against GGG.Im not underestimating Murata but i dont have any doubts that there would be some upset.
Chances is too slim or almost close to impossible but well we know on how chances do works and he might able to pull those odds.

No, I mean KO. Could GGG finish and knockout Murata? That's what I meant, sorry for the misunderstanding.
However, I agree that GGG could pull that knockout somewhere in round 6 to 8 and yes that's fine because we that doesn't really mean that we are underestimating Murata here, I'm just asking for probabilities.
2679  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: April 07, 2022, 03:32:39 PM
Now thats a nice smart move from Stake.com because Drake as we all know it has a huge fanbase.
Stake can use the huge fanbase of Drake as a leverage and increase their own userbase to a huge extent provided Drake is promoting Stake.com
Yeah, that's actually the plan and it really did well. There's even a discussion during the Superbowl that's already part of Drake's partnership with them.
But still, some others can't say that it's part of it and the partnership has been built after it. Well, still all win for the both of them, stake and Drake. An actual player and advertiser of their casino that has a very wide reach for his fans.

Indeed, that was a great move and both of them is going to benefit from it for sure.

The internet was shocked when Drake suddenly posted his huge bets on the Superbowl with the name of the platform which was the Stake on his social media account and as expected many have been curious about it and many speculations have rose that are they already in a partnership or something like that. Few days after it was confirmed that Stake and Drake did have a deal where Drake is their new celebrity endorser, but the questions still aren't answered because they didn't disclose that information about if they had already an agreement before the Superbowl or after it.

Brooklyn Nets defeated New York Knicks 110-98. Durant scored 32 points and Irving 24 points and became the two top scorers of the team. When these two players are together, the team can play quite well.
The game went pretty close until the last quarter, but in the final period the Nets players played very well and widened the gap, the New York Knicks could have won this game Smiley

I don't want to down New York Knicks but they are not a good basis to show off strenght because they are not the best on the league or even qualified on the Playoffs. Nets is surely strong but they are still losing even with KD and Irving when they are against strong team such as Bucks, Celtics and even Grizzlies. I still doubtful that they can win the championship because there’s a lot of team right now that has a consistent solid games all through out this season.
Same here, they still lack in terms of their defensive capabilities because I'm seeing that almost all of them are focus or built in offensive plays and that's why they are still losing some games against the heavy teams in the league. KD+Irving alone can dominate while they are in the offensive but what about their defense or turnovers. That's where they're vulnerable.

And then they have this man on their team:
