2661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 30, 2016, 02:56:15 AM
If you could buy bitcoin, do so. It is a good investment especially now that halving is near. In just a few months your bitcoin can double in value and that is a good return as long as investment is concern. You can trust bitcoin but you are the one responsible in protecting your wallet.
2662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend had a strange idea on: March 29, 2016, 01:19:26 PM
This will not worknif your target are people who is totally clueless of bitcoin. 0.0005 btc means nothing to them, what more a random public keys. They will just ignore it. Besides, vandalizing banknotes is illegal.
2663  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: March 29, 2016, 01:13:13 PM
I am not buying bitcoin because I do not have the capacity to buy. So what I do is work for it. For now I am doing faucet. I know OTHERS will react on this, so I am telling you now, I am doing this because I still do not have any other source of bitcoin. If I could do signature campaign, I will. If I could offer service, I will. But for now, faucet is all I have.

I buy bitcoin, because I want to hold it for the future.
That is all about it why I buy bitcoin. For me I like to just earn or buy and save it.

Good for you. Bitcoin is a good form of investment. If you can buy now, do so. And then hold it until the price gets really high. That way, you are ensured of large profit. Goodluck to you friend.
2664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 29, 2016, 12:40:25 PM
I am definitely holding bitcoin until the price get really really high. High, I mean, thousand dollar high. It is useless to spend it now because the price is not that high yet. If I wait a little bit longer, I can spend more if converted to fiat.
2665  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: March 29, 2016, 11:31:46 AM
Of course I still believe in bitcoin, that is why I am here. Otherwise, I will not be wasting my time earning coins and joining this community. Let us not lose hope and hold on our dear coins.
2666  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: March 29, 2016, 11:21:53 AM
If the halving causes the break for $500 in 2-3 months.

Then I can see that price being the new norm, but if it doesnt then I`ll settle for high $400ish marker or mid.

The price will reach $500 within three months as  the halving occurs in the upcoming months. Expect the price to grow slowly and give a reliable profit.

The price has been steady at 420 range lately. It is either getting ready for a sudden jolt to 500 or reverse back to less 400. I hope it is the former.
2667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving and its effects on: March 28, 2016, 10:44:50 AM
The price will definitely has to go up or the miners will lose interest in bitcoin.  I think this will be the trend after halving: Miners reward cut into half, difficulty rise, price will go up as well. If this does not happen, then were doom.
2668  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 28, 2016, 08:11:45 AM
Paper money will not cease to exist simply because government will not allow it to happen. As simple as that. We can continue to use bitcoin but I do not think we will have enough influence to abolish the government backed paper money. They will continue to print and we will continue to use it even if we have bitcoin to rely on. Bitcoin will just be an alternative, a better alternative.
2669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 28, 2016, 07:43:10 AM
Though bitcoin price is now stable, it is still hard to say where the future of bitcoin really lies. It still has the possibility to collapse if some issues are not addressed. So this is what I think the reason why companies are still hesitant to use bitcoin.

The only thing that can stop people to use Bitcoin is when Bitcoin is officially blocked by the government Roll Eyes
Like Russia that proposed a jail sentence for people who using Bitcoin
But then again, people will always trade their bitcoins on the underground network like TORs whether Bitcoin is banned or not ...

That is what stopping legit companies to get into bitcoin. If bitcoin becomes illegal, they will be risking their company too. That is a huge risk. They are better off using fiat. Maybe for underground transactions, bitcoin is best but not if you are concern with legalities.
2670  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: March 28, 2016, 07:34:58 AM
I have a friend who earn considerable amount of money through bitcoin. I thought I could try it and earn extra money. I am still exploring everything about bitcoin. I still do not have a good handle of things about bitcoin but I am getting there. Looking forward to earn great amounts in the future.
2671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: March 28, 2016, 07:23:02 AM
given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?

home internet and mobile internet goes down

do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away

You do not have to worry about that, you have survival to worry. If everything collapse after a nuclear war, there will chaos and a fight for survival for sure. You don't have the need for bitcoin or any currency because looting will be rampant.
2672  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the number of available bitcoins decreasing? on: March 28, 2016, 05:59:13 AM
It only matters to me that bitcoins are being lost because less bitcoin in the market means the higher price it can get, or so i think. Let's face it, it is like gold, it is limited and can be lost that's why gold is so precious and high priced. So is bitcoin, it is limited to only 21M bitcoins and some are being lose. So, someday demands will get high and prices will have to rise too.
2673  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: March 28, 2016, 04:14:45 AM
Not yet. Currently, my goal is to get as much bitcoin as I can before the price goes sky high. And when I have enough and the price is right, it will only be then that I will start spending my precious coins. This guarantees that I use my coins in its full potential.
2674  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 28, 2016, 04:07:30 AM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

I also consider bitcoin as another source of income. I will not kill any source of income for me. As a matter of fact, I want it to be complimentary with each other. I would do both, day job and bitcoin as long as I possibly can.

2676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Encouraging people to adopt Bitcoin. on: March 28, 2016, 03:04:19 AM
I've been in and out of the Bitcoin scene since it's start. More and more, over the years, I've been overwhelmingly convinced that it is worthwhile. I believe there is a need to get more people to accept Bitcoin as something very real and useful. It will help with the growth of the community and help to insure the future use and growth of Bitcoin in general if we show people that they can be a part of it. I do not have the money to do something like this alone, but what I do have is passion, tenacity, and of course time. Personally, I see a huge opportunity here and hope others do to.

In my experience, I can only convince people if I show them some money. For now, I do not have any to show so no one believes me yet. But I do really want to help the community grow by convincing others to use bitcoin.

2678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2016, 07:39:57 AM
I'm sort of new to bitcoin, I've made a couple bucks already from visiting ad sites, doing faucets, etc, but is there any other way to earn easy cash? Anyone got any suggestions?

Signature campaign? Most here are earning thru that, so you should try that too. Or if you have skills, then go to service and offer them. You might find someone you can work for to earn extra bitcoins.
2679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you call someone with 1000BTC? on: March 22, 2016, 07:30:28 AM
Can we just call that person a "Thousand bitcoiner"? If he got hundreds then he will just be hundred bitcoiner, then thousand bitcoiner and million bitcoiner. If he is just as normal as I am, he is just a bitcoiner. Why do we have to trouble ourselves with the name anyway?
2680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 22, 2016, 07:22:41 AM
I think no one will survive a world war 3. If that happens, it will be the end of the world as we know it, obviously, bitcoin as well. World war 3 is not like the previous war. This war we will be talking about nuclear wars and weapons of mass destruction. It will be a miracle if we survive a nuclear holocaust.
