2661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: July 03, 2016, 12:23:58 PM
It's better to hold your current coin and buy another one. I think that buying bitcoin now is a good option

I think its better to hold and dont buy now we are almost at the peak of halving thats why anytime price of bitcoin may dump and thats the reason we need to hold for now and observe the flow until july 10

BUYBUYBUYBUY!!!  Grin THis will be the best TIme ever after the Halving Cheesy
or you may develop an time machine and just have a look at it and travel back  Roll Eyes

I can say hold because where heading at the halving date the price may go up but possibilities that it may go down also thats why i really recommend that to hold until halving comes buying for now is just for risktakers.

How many days left until the halving come ? With the current bitcoin's price right now, i think it's time to hold your bitcoins now. Because the bitcoin's price is on top price.

Yeah, definitely not the time to buy now, price is moving up now, so we may see more higher price in coming days so its better to hold as halving is very near now.
Those people who does not believe that the price will increase will be regretting now because they were not able to take the opportunity to buy when the price was still low, lucky I am, I was able to buy more and now enjoying watching the price.
They can buy for the low price again IMO they just need some patience for waiting for few more days until halving because i expect that there is a panic selling that will happen because if the price will reach high like $800-1k it will be enough to create panic selling which is good for those people who didn't buy bitcoin yet at the low price.
I don't think so, most real holders of bitcoins does not measure the highest base on the previous last peak which is $1,000, we are always thinking that it can reach at $10,000 so with that we still long for the price to come, remember people are greedy so we always want more.
2662  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: July 03, 2016, 12:21:18 PM
Well I think halving can't be cancelled man because it is scheduled to happen in every 4 years. I think no one can cancel it unless Satoshi Nakamoto himself canceled it I think.

Not even by Satoshi. They could propose a change in the protocol but that should be accepted by miners. So, in theory it would be possible to cancel it, if the majority of the miners would agree. However, this is never going to happen, because it would destroy the fundamentals of Bitcoin, the value of bitcoins would plummet and the miners would loose their revenues.
The system cannot be change already and even the halving, that is the nature of bitcoin and it could happen. Only the price will change and the number of users so we should only base our investment on that figure to analyze with.
2663  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: July 03, 2016, 12:17:59 PM
With the current price and people that bought into it at the current price, I bet they will be waiting till the price of BTC increase.  We have to wait for sometime to be able to do a panic buying.  Bitcoin at around 300 USD can be the start of picking up Bitcoin again but if we saw lower thant 300 UsD that will be better to panickly buy Bitcoin and wait for it to go up in price again.
The price has increase today and reach to $700, this is a sign the it will continue to increase and probably it could hit like $800 in the next few days, just hold tight and believe to increase your investment.
It bitcoin is different, panic selling and panic buying could happen at the same time because we have equal of people who are real believers of bitcoin not like other altcoins that is controlled mostly by whales and they can easily manipulate the price.
2664  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 03, 2016, 12:15:18 PM
For me and i think working with passion and hard work can help you to get rich. many ways to earn money and become rich. invest your bitcoin on trading. played patiently and then make a profit.
It would be easy to say that but in reality trading will not guarantee profit because it is like gambling, it is also risky so you need to be good to make consistent money in trading.
2665  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: July 03, 2016, 12:12:25 PM
Hell no
Any reason behind it ? I think more people here demand stable prices than the ones asking for variable prices. May be that is because users are worried that the price might go too low also.
pff, dont you think that the stable prices are really boring? in my opinion theres no need for a stable price because less people would be interested in bitcoins then for sure

many traders nowadays need the prices to fluctuate as much as possible to be honest, in my opinion there is no reason not to like the price being not stable, i hope that it will keep on moving
I think you should carefully analyze, if this is going to be stable that means it is strong and it will become more popular because the large merchants will surely adopt and we know that they are not interested in investing so they are after of a stable price.
The answer is very simple, more stable means more popular and that is the general rule, we need to achieve that level if we want to attract more users of bitcoins and to generate massive adoption.
2666  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin halving is real? on: July 03, 2016, 12:08:12 PM
As a reward for Halving unit prices Bitcoin, but now the industry can meet a variety of opinions on this subject. And not all share the belief in the growth rates cryptocurrency precisely because halvinga.
If Bitcoin demand Halving result will be greater than expected, speculators and miners, after halving in the next six months we will see new levels of cost of Bitcoin.
One reason is certain regarding the coming halving, it will always affect the price in a positive way and it is real as you can witness with the current price now, that is the benefits and this will increase more once the halving is approaching near.
2667  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2016, 12:05:18 PM
Maybe give them some small amount of bitcoins and ask them to gamble with it. Once they love gambling, we can tell them faucets, signature and other places where they can earn bitcoins.
Really not a good idea, as kids they should not lean to gamble as much as possible because it is very risky for them and the requirement to gamble is you should not be a minor to be able to manage yourself.
If you are teach kids at the young age on how to gamble, you are like destroying his future at an early stage and this kid will not live the life he should be. No doubt he will become criminal in the future and the problem within the family.
2668  Economy / Economics / Re: How many coins did you have during the rise? on: July 03, 2016, 12:00:36 PM
I have around 4 bitcoins before the halving hype and before the price of bitcoin start increasing 1 month ago and the result is really good, because the bitcoin's price is so high right now.
The amount you are holding is already a decent amount, if the price will increase more you can easily make profit in the short period of time.
2669  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is not the currency of the people and likely never will be on: July 03, 2016, 11:38:29 AM
It's possible that bitcoin will not ever be a mainstream currency, but I don't think it has to be. It can still be useful as a store of value and a payment method.
Easy to analyze for me because I am living in a shady world, bitcoin will surely brings the interest of the people who use it because anything that government would not support means a thing is valuable, remember government are corrupt and they can monopolize things but they cannot do it in bitcoin due to its transparency.
2670  Economy / Economics / Re: Ridiculous mentioning of BTC selling on: July 03, 2016, 11:34:44 AM

Just have a look at the order books of these exchanges. That much harm can you do when dumping that many coins at once. Especially the order book of Bitstamp is very week as an early adopter can dump the price below $100 without much problems.

You'd get your ass handed to you if you used visible order books to judge your trades. They can change in a second to capitalize on new circumstances and do. There's alot hidden away on the sidelines waiting to meet some action.
Well I agree with you man.  Grin Many are just waiting to put up a buy order when they see someone dumping so many coins they will begin to pop up out of nowhere just to buy some cheap coins. So in that way I think btc wouldn't be dumped easily.
There is now way bitcoin will dump, the trend always says we are going upward and every year is an improvement of bitcoin, the demand should increase and it will not be easy to manipulate for the whales.
2671  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: July 03, 2016, 11:21:54 AM
When the price is dropped at once like bitcoin value dropped from 750$ to 590$, that was the right time to buy some bitcoins.. So when the value is low , i will buy bitcoins and sell when price become high Smiley
If price increases considerably more selling occurs. Huge selling will conceivably give the Bitcoin price a beating, but we cannot predict at this time whether it will happen in 2016.
I don't see that it will happen, once the price is consistently increasing the investors will be happy to see that as they will expect more increase, only when the price started to fall back will panic selling happens.
panic sell is bad for short investor, i think better we set "target/goal" after buying bitcoin.
like me buying bitcoin at $650 and now my target $750 if the price rise to $750 i will sell it.

Right, we should set a goal for big profits. I am too buying at 650 but won't sell under 1000 Wink.
I think we will sooner or later reach there, this is halving time in fact.
Of course, with the current price movement it would be easy to reach that level within this year. I should also do like what you did because as an investor we need to be strong to not easily give up even when the ups and downs of bitcoins, we should only sell base on the set goals.
2672  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: July 03, 2016, 11:17:36 AM
Wow if you can buy house with bitcoin then just thinking, firstly how much did you invest in bitcoin so that you can earn so much that you can purchase the house with it?
Secondly where you want to buy and how much Bed room you buying it will depend upon that as well.
That is not your concern anymore because the moment we buy a house we will make sure that it is situated in a place where we want to live and to give your a figure 50 BTC could already give you a good house which is  a big one.
50 BTC is more than enough if you are living a simple house, actually we have our own decision in buying a house and that would be easy for us to decide but the main problem now is on our method to earn the abovementioned amount.
2673  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 03, 2016, 11:13:00 AM
I think if you just want to save money then the bank is the ultimate choice. but it was all unprofitable. if you want a profitable investment in the world then choose bitcoin, believe it is very profitable.
Exactly, bank is the best option because our money is secured and protected, bitcoin is not savings because it is investing. For some people who save in their wallet in the blockchain, you have to make sure that it is not all your savings in life.
2674  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: July 03, 2016, 11:05:32 AM
OP - You started this thread in January 2015. How many coins do you hold from that time . You would have make a great money if you really hold  any of the btc till date.

OP might be rich from now because he is not posting in thread already, he must be very busy spending his profit on his investment when the price hits $700+ last month.
2675  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: July 03, 2016, 11:01:31 AM
In my opinion, due to such competitive advantages as decentralization and independent, but limited issue, complete privacy of users and at the same time the transparency of the transaction, the interest in cryptocurrency, first and foremost, of course, to the Bitcoin system, received at the moment the most widely known It will remain fairly high. By this a common situation, which is characterized, on the one hand, the rapid development of information and the expansion of e-commerce, on the other - the instability of the traditional financial system subject to regular local crises and show a clear overall vulnerability.

Most experts agree cryptocurrency that Bitcoin is destined to become a major e-commerce cryptocurrency in the future.
Yeah! and that is because bitcoin designed is unique that serves the purpose of decentralization and eliminate the risk of our money being controlled by a certain group, this feature alone will make people trust the system and with the benefits of fast and cheap transactions that always add up to the value.
2676  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: July 03, 2016, 09:27:52 AM
For me the best investment strategy is hold and sell strategy, same as bitcoin now, hold when the bitcoin is high ,then buy when the bitcoin is low, I think this strategy are very safe for investment, until 10yrs.
There is really no definite time for bitcoins in terms of investing, as long as the price will not be stable we can make money whether you are a trader or a mere investor.
2677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost & made around 3 BTC today on: July 03, 2016, 09:22:14 AM

What? I don't get it? How did someone stole such huge amount if bitcoin to you. Can you please share the information you have.
Posting is a crime for him because everytime we make a post and make this thread more popular he will lost more bitcoins. LOL.

I think he should check the security of his account and that should be his main concern not this thread.
