Covid-19 is artificially developed and is not a natural virus. Some people wants to take control of the world and want to rule the world, but most of us do not understand.

2662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: May 08, 2020, 11:39:27 AM

For recession which has been spoken about by expert, gamblers will still find their ways around the situations and still get their funs. Except those who sole aims to gamble is for them to make a living.

Gamblers would still not be affected I guess, they'll find a way to gamble, just like when the taxes are raise on liquor and cigarettes, people are still buying it, so it should not be different with gambling as usually people who consume the aforementioned are gamblers as well.

Everyone's life is effected including the gamblers. Although Quarantine did not had any impact on online gambling but a human being cannot play gambling all the time, when you are restricted to go out, you feel depressed and your whole life style changes considerably.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 08, 2020, 09:27:13 AM
Most sports events are halted, suspended, postponed, and canceled because of the pandemic virus for about to 1-2 months now. Within that short period, the damage is serious so I can't imagine if it will take a year or over.

Seen several posts here about the vaccine that should be made first before resuming. It makes sense and the best thing to do but providing the timeframe of creating a vaccine against Covid-19 that might take a year(s), is the world can afford to wait for that vaccine?

So what do you think?

a) wait for the vaccine even it will take years, end of the discussion

b) resume slowly with several considerations such as no audience, limited number of staffs or any important things to do before considering resuming, unless the area or place was heavily affected

Since it's almost impossible to expect a vaccine until the end of the year or maybe the 3rd quarter of the next year, I will go with B but with lots of considerations (But I'm hoping I'm wrong. We all want the vaccine and experts around the world are truly working hard for it).

It all depends when is the Vaccine against Covid-19 is discovered or developed. All the sporting organizations can wait for another 2 -3 months for vaccine but if the vaccine is not developed in this time frame, then obviously they have to choose from different options because players and those sporting organization can't remain idle forever.
2664  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: May 08, 2020, 09:07:23 AM
While it did hit $10 000, it did not break it, yet.

PS. Just broke it as I'm writing this

Bitcoin did not stayed longer over 10,000$ and it reached Max. 10,080 on Kraken. It quickly moved down again to its support level of 9800$. For short term, bitcoin may cross 10K once or twice before the halving and then we may see a 20% correction in bitcoin price soon after the halving.
2665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casinos pros and cons on: May 08, 2020, 08:55:56 AM
Hi guys!

We are all here because we like playing with crypto Smiley
There are many advantages of gambling in crypto casinos, e.g. privacy and speed. Or something else?
But are there some disadvantages for you compared to fiat money casinos?

Cheers,
Karl

I don't see any disadvantage of playing in casino with crypto over the fiat money. The only thing which comes in my mind is that a person can send the coins to the wrong destination address which is only if anyone is too much careless. Other than this , using crypto has all advantages.

Who would have thought that holding handrills and doors lock would be considered unsafe in this halving.
Welcome to 2020  !!

2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 07, 2020, 01:26:00 PM
It can consider but likewise PBA association will check and balance everything before deciding, it's hard to decide since even they'll try to work out outside Manila chances that it won't get enough profits are still there. We all know that each sides of the country are affected of this lockdown and after the lift entertainment will not be prioritize.

The possibility of this happening is very low, sorry but that's my opinion, transforming the players puts them in a lot of risk already and they are not essential people at this time so they can't find an exemption to this. It's been stated int the post above that business that will require gathering of people will be suspended under the GCQ, so that's it, they are looking for an exemption and they need some approval but the government is more focus on more important things now.

The government has no time for this, so it's not likely for the PBA to resume under their initiative, you are right, they need some approval doing this as this would not only risk their health but the health of the people as well, and if the government were able to close the ABS CBN at this covid-19 crisis, there's no way the will give some special treatment to any business, we have a different government now that they want to implement the law properly.

Games and sports comes under least discussion when it comes to lift the bans on businesses. Since there is a lot of public gathering is involved, no sports can be opened now and Philippine Basketball Association also have to wait until the situation become very much corona free. I think that we can see PBA to resume once the vaccine is developed for covid-19.
2668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: May 07, 2020, 01:13:32 PM
Spending too much money on gambling is bad especially if you can't handle the consequences that you may face if you lose all of it.

This kind of attitude alone would certainly make you regret in the end, spending too much money is out of principle in gambling, because we just have to spend money that we can afford to lose. spending too much is like getting out of control already and it will normally result to bigger problem.

I have seen many people who spend a lot of money because they think that they can't lose. This type of attitude or behavior make them lose not only their money but i have seen such people doing suicides. Those who do not die become depression patients and all their family members suffers because of them.

This website is old and still active, I remember getting some bitcoin more than 6 years ago on it, It's really good to see that is still active, but I don't if worth spend time on it anymore, there is a lot of good gambling websites to use crypto.

You might feel the site to be boring but for the new comers this is the best site. I also remember that i used to claim free faucet every hour when i started using bitcoins. From that time, the site has evolved a lot and a lot of new features are introduced which may be interesting for many people.
Even in 2020, this is still the No. 1 faucet site.
2670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 07, 2020, 12:12:49 PM
Reopening casinos in Las Vegas. It will not be the same, there is talk to test the temperature to customers, if there are still travel restrictions. The visit to the casino would be less, social distances and all the elements that the gambling and entertainment rooms have. It is a difficult situation, it is an industry that invests and generates a lot of income. We are honestly caught at a crossroads with the Coronavirus where we have to decide between health or the economy.

I am not from the US but doesn't Las Vegas has permanent customers from the inside area?
For sure, travel restrictions are going to have serious impact to the income flow of the casinos but still I am not sure that this is the main stream.
Casinos are not going to open till the situation is stabilized.

Casino are entertainment places and if they does not open, it will not have any big impact on the people or the government. I think Las Vegas Mayor will be doing very wrong if he decides top open the casinos. Do they think that playing gambling is more important than the lives of the people ?
2671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best platform to practice poker on: May 07, 2020, 12:02:11 PM
Have you tried youtube? I have not also much knowledge of poker. But I have tried to learn through youtube for a few days. Now I have some basic ideas about poker.  But not much. You can also try to get some help from youtube. Maybe you can get some basic ideas about it. But I don't sure about pro strategy.

Through youtube you can learn poker and other games too but you cannot practice it live on the gambling platform. If OP do not want to spend money in playing and learning poker, he can play poker on sites which offer free faucets. He can claim free faucets and try to learn poker.
2672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: May 07, 2020, 11:49:25 AM
Well, as the title says what is the safest feature crypto games online to be gambled for newbies.
Due to this pandemic lockdown and everyone must stay at home my friend looking for alternative online gambling. He was asked me what is the safest crypto gambling game for them that they never encounter. Though playing cards are very common like poker, Tong-its or Blackjack, it is different when you are online.

What do you think? --can I recommend dice and roulette gambling game since among the poll I listed this is the easiest gambling I have ever known.

If your friend is new in online gambling, tell him to start with dice as it is most simplest game to play one. Also ask him to play manual games and do not go for Auto bets. Online games are as risky as the physical casino games and i hope he already knows this.
2673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 07, 2020, 04:55:05 AM
Knock, knock, knocking on $9400.
The way from there to $9500 looks a bit steeper to me.

EDIT: Resistance, as judged by orderbook, just thinned out considerably.
Bots?

Rejected the 9500$ resistance twice. Keep on trying, you will break the wall. Once the wall is broken, there is a smooth
ride ahead.

2674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Warning] Don't use changenow.io on: May 06, 2020, 01:34:44 PM
It looks like that the result of amount that already showed in the swap service already included the fees. Let's say that you will get 80k satoshi as the result before the fees and you will get 20k satoshi as your result after the fees (60k)

it's not that service is a scam but it looks like the fees is really high.
They already mention it no need extra fees, if this is fees then It's too much for small trader, i don’t understand why show this!  Is it bug or something....?

That's a good catch by the OP. Normally the sites states that they have no or very less fee for the exchange and the user blindly accepts it. Such sites manipulate at the back end and calculate values with less market price of the coins and hence get a lot of profit from our exchange.
The best way is to fully confirm if we are getting the right amount of money after the exchange.
2675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: May 06, 2020, 01:03:07 PM
I am not keeping a spreadsheet for my gambling expenses, neither for my personal use nor for tax purposes. I am not spending large amounts for gambling that is why I don't think I need to keep an organized record for it. As far as tax is concerned, I am not paying any from my small gambling wins.

Since bitcoin and crypto money is not legal (or illegal) in my country, so no one declares how much crypto they have and hence no taxes on crypto. However if i convert my crypto into fiat, then ofcourse i have to pay tax on that fiat money. For this reason there is no need for me to create spreadsheets to calculate how much i earn from gambling.
2676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: House Edge vs. Luck - the Last Stand on: May 06, 2020, 12:51:47 PM
As you can see, this player made over 1 million dice bets, and his total profit is 0.31624212 BTC. And looking at his total wagered amount, over 845 BTC, I don't think this guy was betting 1 satoshi ever

I'm curious if you are aware that your stats actually prove my point

The dude wagered over 845 bitcoins, took home some measly 0.31624212 BTC (in relative terms), which is less than 0.04% of the wagered amount, and was obviously using "some kind of sophisticated betting strategy" (read, martingale). If you followed my martingale thread over there, you would know that with more or less safe martingale settings I managed to earn times my initial amount and with a way higher wagered amount to profit ratio (close to astounding 50%):

But I'm not saying that I was betting randomly with half of my balance at stake at once (which would kill me in the blink of an eye)

However funny it may seem, but I think it's your stats that are proving my point. Smiley

You've made more than 30 million bets, and yet the house edge hasn't killed you. Since I don't believe that there can be a way of strategically beating luck in purely luck based games, such as dice(isn't it obvious? apparently it's not Smiley ), your stats prove that 30 million bets isn't enough for the house edge to prevail over possible luck.

It depends what were the odds selected in those bets with martingale game play. If the very low odds were selected, then he was not busted even he placed 30 millions bet. If on the other hand the odds were high, the house edge won't let you win after so many games.
Also you can see that loses are much more than the wins.
2677  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH after halving? on: May 06, 2020, 12:34:06 PM
Before 2016 halving, the price went up a total of 50% and this time, when btc is getting closed to the halving, we saw this sudden price pump. During 2016, there was a little uncertainty from China, while we have now the pandemic. What do you think? Will we see 10000 above within this week and new ATH soon?
yeah hopefully history can be repeated again this year, but it is not easy for now, many people already have Bitcoin and there must be more demand, we all know that Bitcoin has 21 million only, and there are still people who save in large amounts, price manipulation can happen at any time

When everyone is looking for the All time high after halving , do you think we will reach the All time high soon after halving. I doubt so. I think bitcoin may dump very fast just after the halving making people panic and sell in loss. After that we may see another rally which may take bitcoins to new ATH. This whole process may take 6 months to an year.

2679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering More or Wagering Less on: May 06, 2020, 08:49:39 AM
Wagering more doesn't mean you are in profit always. But almost all the reputed gambling sites have wagering rewards. The more you wager, the more rewards you get. In stake, more wagering guys get a lot of free coins each day, week, monthly bonus. For getting VIP rank, wagering is another of your requirement.

The thing to note is why gambling casino give free coins or prizes for more wagering ? This means that if people will wager more, they will lose more and therefore the gambling casino will be in more profits.
2680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's End Game on: May 06, 2020, 07:23:49 AM
I think some nations already welcome Bitcoin and there will be no need for government to outrightly ban the use of  bitcoin. So if one nation is critical of it, users in that nation will find a way through the internet to byepas that nation regulation. Bitcoin traders will always find a way around the internet to do their investment except the internet is shutdown.

As long as internet is there, bitcoin cannot be shutdown. Some people might think that bitcoin is a bubble and they stop using it but majority of the people and governments will accept bitcoin in the near future. Digital currency is the new form of currency and we have to accept it.
