2661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 03, 2022, 03:51:39 AM
~
I got a big doubt that Pereira could win against Adesanya that now has a great record with MMA, kickboxing is a different combat sport than MMA, and even though he knockout Izzy in the past it doesn't mean he could do it again, and this time they will fight is a different playing field and I think Israel Adesanya is accustomed with the MMA than Pereira, for sure,
Kickboxing is different than MMA but Israel Adesanya is one of the few champions in modern MMA who is holding the belt without a great ground game, he has a pretty good ground defense but he likes the striking range which is kickboxing in almost all of his fights.

Alex Pereira is fighting for the belt in just his 4th fight in the UFC which is crazy and the funny thing would be if he defeats Israel Adesanya for the third time and then announces his retirement with a perfect record against Israel Adesanya it would be the greatest meme ever  Cheesy.

2022 is a year full of upset fights. A match like this really needs to have a spectacular end like KO of the year.  But we don't know yet until it's over. Anyone can lose. The odds are with Izzy so they're positive that he can win this fight, it's not a time for him to confidently bend. Alex can take his belt easy with just one cross.

Adesanya, Israel 1.58
Pereira, Alex 2.40
2662  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 02, 2022, 05:23:49 AM
Yes, a millionaire who invest Bitcoin during recession and hold it until the economy already recover and start to grow. This is an easy money for them, they didn't need to spend whole time to work or make something new on their business, they only need to buy every dip of Bitcoin. This is why we should start to accumulate Bitcoin right now before Bitcoin price surge and many people will say it's too late to buy Bitcoin.

For millionaires getting richer is a click away and this recession is not even a threat to them but an opportunity.  But you could also do what they are doing if you just play it well.

I'm spending less this time and just minimizing anything as possible. Work more and spend a noddle for a meal. This may just be too much though.
Looking forward to the future is more important but health is importanter.
2663  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany surprises everyone, the economy keeps growing on: November 02, 2022, 03:57:52 AM
Once again Germany is going to save Europe's ass. Not supporting Nazism stuff, but imagine what the world would be if they won WWII and keep on developing.

Good for them to finally wake up and run thier economy otherwise they'd be doomed.

That's why Germany needs saving right? Because it's diving into a deep well. They'd have to activate powerplants coal plants and nuclear plants back up again. They have condoned these powerplants before because they wanna lead the renewable energy. Poland is the biggest promoter of this renewable energy but is now thier source of gas and oil through the Poland gas pipeline.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: November 02, 2022, 03:40:20 AM
I really felt bad watching that fight, Anderson Silva 15 years ago would have completely destroyed Jake Paul. The fight was very close, I really wish Anderson Silva would have won. At least he took the loss like a real man, saying that he goes home and trains some more. We can't change the past, but if Anderson would have ended his career in his prime, he would be the greatest middleweight UFC champion of all time. But then again he was paid for all the fights and it's still his job. Kind of sad that Jake Paul doesn't fight against people of his own age. If he feels so strong why not start offering rematches in Octagon? I am sure the fans would love to see MMA fight with Jake Paul. Would be a nice way to make my losses back and finally see Jake Paul lose a match.

The unfortunate Anderson has not only continued to fight in the UFC in his relatively old age, he also continued fighting despite a series of losses. Poor legend. Not only that, after he ended his UFC career, he shifted to professional boxing losing 2 of his 5 fights and even faced a much younger opponent in Jake Paul.

Has he not made enough money in the UFC to stop fighting altogether and retire from sports for good? Possibly, we all know how Dana shares his profit even with his prized fighters and champions.

Even if he makes enough money, I think he will still be fighting just like Floyd or Pacquiao. He had been in combat sports for a long time and maybe in his teen years he had been fighting especially because it's a culture in Brazil.

It's hard to stop since it's already in thier blood as warriors. Everybody's doing it also. Nate Diaz is also taking this route. IF they can just become a trainer, they may be doing it. But Bisping for example because he is good at talking, he still becomes a commentator of UFC fights. It's still related to MMA sports.
2665  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon now is charging $8 a month to get your Twitter verified on: November 02, 2022, 03:24:16 AM
Taking $8/month  is not so high for legit companies to update their followers on what they are up to. Millions of companies including celebrities willing to verify accounts than have tons of fake accounts concocting them.

Musk has not yet said anything about Doge for Twitter payment yet but a lot of Doge fan awaits for a word about it while buying millions of it already. Seem we have expected too much.
2666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: November 02, 2022, 01:18:36 AM
I generally see gambling tokens on similar levels to crypto exchange tokens. They are traded more in crypto bull market season but traded less in bear seasons. So in my opinion its not very good to hold them every second but mainly right before bull runs. Their yield may sound beneficial although exchange tokens in general are far more beneficial in my opinion. I rather buy and deposit them in exchange.

Agree. All altcoins are worth holding only on a bull market to get a huge profit. Some of us however are hopeful to make an earning while staking those casino tokens. It somehow helps though since they are dividends token. It's best to just chose the tokens that are found in binance, not all casino tokens are on this exchange. BFG, OWL and TFS are not on it.

What I think is that it is very difficult for the tokens to increase in price because, honestly, the price of bitcoin has not risen enough to pump up the p tokens and if bitcoin does like this, do not have many illusions, the best thing is that if you buy the tokens, you have to keep faith so that it can increase one day, this is something that should not be ruled out, but people who buy tokens should know that they need to be filled with a lot of patience so that they can see their currency grow, and this year I doubt that bitcoin will have a very large pump, what I can say is that those who bought tokens at a price, if it goes down more, be patient.
You should and it is a must have long patience knowing how the market behaves, investors really need to take time doing good research in order to survive if in case after buying the tokens/coins they are allocating enough time in order to see the growth that they are aiming for the project. Bitcoin movement influences a lot in terms of the tokens movement it also needed to be understood.

At the end of the day, investors who deal with their proper study will mange to hold after buying if they aimed to earn decently,
more on self definitions and that includes every project where casino coins are also part of it.

The only positive side I see is that casinos like Betfury seem to be here to stay which you as an investor can just hold for a long time and get some dividends thru them while you are very patient.

How many owls do you guys need to have to earn at least $10 a day compare to BFG?
Knowing all these will probably make use decide which one is better in terms of earnings.

2667  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Fed take tomorrow? on: November 01, 2022, 08:29:42 AM

Whichever it is as long as they raise, there will be a dump.

I'm 99% inclined to think the same, but history has a habit of not repeating itself just when you're overconfident, and Bitcoin price also has this habit of doing some inexplicable movements, so neither a drop back below 20k nor a jump to 25k would surprise me genuinely.

Once they give up fighting inflation, the investors may surely be looking for assets to hedge the value of their assets like BTC. However, if the FED still raises interest which is very likely what Pal wants, we're gonna see stocks diving again and perhaps BTC too.

And then continue where we left off that people will all be going to tighten belts, maybe eat just twice a day and find 3 jobs to make ends meet.
2668  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Fed take tomorrow? on: November 01, 2022, 06:02:11 AM
What will Fed take tomorrow?
We are confident that Fed will keep raising interest rates at this time, but by how much? What if it goes up by 50 points? What if it goes up by 75 points? Pump or Dump?
Give me a good cause to make a big short (long) trade, I'm ready with cash  Tongue

Peace!!!

Whichever it is as long as they raise, there will be a dump. But they may actually pivot because they need to win the midterm election so that's something they'll have to consider or suffer the loss. If the Dems lose, the Reps will probably undo the policies they have decided and we'll have a big run. Anyway, this is just what I have read on the politics channel so we'll see what happens.
2669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would a Nation of Sports Gamblers Look Like? on: November 01, 2022, 05:54:16 AM
Back when I was serious about sports gambling. Efforts were made to use math, science, psychology and other avenues of study towards anticipating the outcome of matches.

Sometimes you can tell how hungry and motivated athletes are going into events simply by watching their interviews and paying close attention to their body language and responses. It is also possible to tell when they're unmotivated and distracted.

When Cain Velasquez fought Francis Ngannou. Cain Velasquez was sweating heavily despite not moving or exerting himself much at the open workout. He looked out of shape or injured. I used that indicator to bet heavily on Ngannou and won. Later it emerged Velasquez had a knee injury and wasn't able to run much to prepare his cardio for that bout. There were other occasions where I tried to use the law of large numbers and other aspects of math, science and strategy to be successful in gambling.

A nation of sports gamblers might study the psychology of sports and cold reading athletes to gauge performance at events. As well as strategy and math for better understanding odds and strategizing. A nation of gamblers wouldn't necessarily have to be a decadent or regressive trend. It could actually encourage people to embrace fields of study which might be useful for being profitable in the industry.

This applies to boxing and MMA but for team sports like soccer or basketball, you may just depend on their best players like Curry, Klay Tom, or Lebron. All the time the pickers spread thier word and often they are right when you look at the odds.

A nation of gamblers would be a nation of irresponsible citizenry. The constant fights that will often come on will be a thing of worry. Take for instance communities where gamblers are much and see the irresponsible living in that community with youngsters not wanting to get proper jobs or do anything meaningful with their lives. Everybody wants to hit it big so they can display their wealth. Morality and communal living will be lost in such nation and people can kill in such communities at the slightest disagreement.

Or would you say a nation of sports gamblers is a competitive citizen?
During Olympics, all I see on the top gold getter are the US, China, Germany, and Russia. I don't see Mexico being the top gold medalist in boxing.

2671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge coin of fire, the master is now on the throne on: November 01, 2022, 05:12:21 AM
Up again now by 2 % with still 103% in the last 7 days.

How I missed this news , had sold all my Dogecoin in June , this is truly a bad news for me and hoping to ride with the increase anytime soon.

Have you noticed the bull run with dogecoin when Elon musk got hold of tweeter. Dogecoin is around $0.13 now. This is no surprise for dogecoin hodlers I believe and now that Elon is in charge more bull soon is expected.

Do you think the bull is from the increase of bitcoin to $20k or because Elon musk is on the tweeter throne. What is our thoughts ?

The doge's price increase in recent days is definitely related to the news that Elon successfully bought twitter and not to bitcoin. Doge is easily manipulated by Elon at any time. It will be interesting if Elon becomes a part of twitter, the coin will continue to increase in price despite the drop of bitcoin.

But does this Hype will last long ? or will just another short time pumping? like what we had in 2021?

and now it is 134% mate and this is truly another remarkable movement for Dogecoin

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/

Did not see this coming because I'm afraid something like last year will happen again  , things that really made me decide differently .
maybe this whole week will be a Dogeweek?

Naysayers are worried the price shoots up too high in a matter of days. It was just $0.06 last week and it doubled already. Can't wait for it to go more than $0.50 again. The dogecoinmillaire youtube suddenly woke up to show his Robinhood again lol

Does anyone really heard something from Elon about his plan for Doge?
I saw his interview recently but he didn't mention anything about Doge.
2672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or bear November? on: November 01, 2022, 01:10:45 AM

I am going to foolishly say we are going to have a bearish November. I don’t have any real reason, except that October felt too bullish to me. I think the next jump in price is going to be from FTX releasing a stablecoin, but I think expecting that to happen within the next 30 days is a bit optimistic. I’m overall bullish, but I think there’s a good chance the price could be lower in 30 days.

Maybe because I've already bought some which made me a bit optimistic as well. But seeing there is a bit of a green market in different DEXes that I have been I think it simulates the last bull market back in 2021 and the price of BTC had been very stable for a few months.

In the back of my mind, I'm also doubting since the report I've seen recently was that miners are still selling heavily to cover their expenses, and miners in China sell all the time since they get almost free energy.
2673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts when all Bitcoins are mined? on: October 31, 2022, 02:52:53 AM
Bitcoin fees will be pretty much expensive and doesn't worth if you made small transaction, I think before all Bitcoin are mined, everyone already adopt Lightning network.

Theoretically Bitcoin price should be worth for at least one million due to miner doesn't any mining reward and people who use Bitcoin will need to pay higher fee, which make Bitcoin even more scarcer. But we're currently have mined more than 80% of all Bitcoin, we don't need to wait until 2140 to see what's the next will happen to Bitcoin.

The adoption of LN is faster than we know and I think Twitter will have something to do with it. Everyone will be on board when all other social media sites are going to also adopt crypto. Making transactions on BTC will still be cheaper because of LN despite all coins being mined.

Mining will not stop even if all BTC is already mined, they still can mine transactions.
I'm still up to believing the truth is stranger than what we imagine though which miners are going to be regulated with a license required.
2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Apple Pauses Gambling Ads in App Store Pages After Developers Complain on: October 31, 2022, 02:36:19 AM
This is apple wanting to make more money. This is going to encourage advertising to hurt others or competitors.

They are making the competition of developers which the rich developers can advertise on the competitor's page. This is really going to kill the apps that are inferior and low quality which I think is good also for developers will push to make better apps.
2675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it really possible to quit on these reasons on: October 31, 2022, 01:50:33 AM

You can when you lose a huge amount
This is the most popular reason to quit have you done this only to come back

Coming back again because the impulse wins. It's possible that the person who loses a huge amount is his everything.

Having something new to do or a new job opportunity I think will help more than a wife yelling to stop. The gambler will just secretly gamble, that is what will happen just like a guy having an affair.
2676  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: October 30, 2022, 09:17:31 AM

When Trump run he suggested returning to gold back currency and ending this fiat system that Nixon promised to be temporary only. Took more than 50 years and up to this day, the US is not willing to go back to the gold back standard.

BRICS countries are initiating to go back where today we can hear the news about them buying up tons of gold because that's what they are going to be doing according to several news channels. Why gold price had not gone up, I guess they also are suppressing its price still for it to be not attractive to speculators.
2677  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance asking for KYC, again on: October 30, 2022, 09:01:49 AM
Since you have completed the identity verification, this means that you are ready to take this test every time if the platform suspects anything, for example, did you do anything that adds red points such as changing your device, IP address, withdrawing with unusual amounts, suspicious transactions or anything that could activate They have an alarm system?

As for you leaving the platform, the centralized platforms are still far from competing with the centralized platforms in speed, liquidity, order execution, fees.

Withdrawing unusual amounts and then asking to verify again your data is nothing like what the banks are doing these days. Been also asked for my KYC back in 2020 when I bought a new phone. Ever since no KYC, I'm already afraid to change anything or withdraw but will only do it thru P2P on binance.
Centralized is centralized and binance is just compliant with every government.
2678  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History of Poker on: October 30, 2022, 08:37:38 AM

The earliest by far that they have traced the origins of poker was in 900s in China. That's quite a long time and we thought human origins started in Africa. This really started me thinking something must have happened in the past that they ban gambling on the mainland.

Cards in the past are more fascinating for it has art on them which today we can only see on tarot cards today.  As Nas Deck or Vintage Mahjong tiles must be expensive collectible items by now.
2679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: October 30, 2022, 07:52:23 AM
Doesn't sound fair to learn that because it's not on thier TOS, the casino can just publish names. But filing a lawsuit will just make it worse as well and the user will expose himself further when doing so. It's a price to pay when you want to play all the way and submit your data which makes the users vulnerable. If the user is willing to go to court, I guess it depends on him.
2680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler who betrayed his friend's trust on: October 29, 2022, 05:10:42 AM
Maybe they can sort it out if Kevin give Charles share for old-time sake and if not then maybe they can settle on the court.

I wouldn't really try the latter, 3 months if long enough for my anger to stay. But I would definitely want the money as I won as well. Not trusting a friend can actually be hurtful as well. I can understand it so Charles is not a very sassy guy. But this is not a good trait to adopt in this wild world.
