UPDATE. Today first packages went to my polish friends to check if i didnt forgot anything. Tomorrow i will be making VAT Invoices for orders placed in January and sending them to people who ordered SRR. Next i will try to ship some packages to Rest of the World to see if shipping process to World is ok and i didnt miss anything. Then i will start writing instructions, howtos and videos (meaby videos later). Anyway i have all cables, power supplies and resetters prepared so now sending process will be smooth. Also i will email to everyone who ordered status and tracking link (if possible ofcourse).
cant wait to do a full review for you over this product!!!! yeah I am holding off on ordering one as I want to see a review for it. If you like it I will order one. I would be able to keep the 8 rigs I have and run them at the solar array. So far i am very happy with simpleminer software. my rigs can run very stable on it. Since my gear is in a garage an it is the winter I can keep temps in the garage between 75f and 95f by opening and closing the back door. the srr would be a game changer for me with gpu cards.

Corsair 750w (for 3 RX470)
I have the same problem even if I disable the 2 good working cards.
I have no idea left .. no big deal, just one GPU, but I like to have everything perfect !
So 1 card stand alone on the rig. And it still does this? Is it one of the ones I sold you? Is it running on the evga mobo I sold you? Basically sounds like a failing card. Or a failing mobo. Or a falling psu. or a failing riser. Risers have caps. And caps are like a rechargeable battery if they are failing they can cause your symptom. I lose track of the inventory I sell. I know I sold 5 xfx 1 fan short 470s. They were flawless. I also sold quite a few blower style cards to you. Sapphire if I recall. They were weird at times. Is it one of them?

In the Claymore ZEC miner thread.... Mr Claymore has spoken and he said new version coming up in next few days... I think the v12 will be something out of the world since he spent alot of time improving it. I did remind him that we need the Linux version too.... hope we can do that.
Great job ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) === Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) February 06, 2017, 10:41:31 AM Finally I can use assembler exactly as I want. I will release two updates this week, first update will be released in 2-3 days. === Btw, above post by Claymore on new update, what does he mean "assembler"? Sounds like what Optiminer is doing to his recent versions. Assembler is an old school programming language maybe he uses it to help develop his software.

Riser rigs suck. Always have always will.
I have 1 riser rig an h81 it sucks.
I never managed to get 5 cards solid on it.
Back in the day of Btc and gpu. Riser rigs sucked.
This is not to insult people that mine with 5 and 6 card rigs.
It is a personal choice for some to run 5 and 6 card rigs. Just as it is a choice to run four card rigs on my part.
If I had a different setup I could try for six card rigs. And I did get a z270 to run five card well.
I have found that being a bit more relaxed about mining makes it a bit easier.
Ie four rigs with cards at a slight underclock are pretty much set them and forget them.
While five and six card rigs pushed a bit suck. They cry for, help and are hi Maintainence
And a six card rig once built means you are committed to it. You have a big ass psu with six risers.
I would suggest you convert to pandaminers or to,four card biostar like I run.
You most likely won't since you have decided six and five card are better for you.
Frankly they may be better for your setup. You have more gear then me if I remember correctly.
A question you run a switcher miner that moves from coin to,coin?

So you're proving vapourminer's idea can work. It'd be better with a much shorter cable.
Just had those parts on hand. I am about to plug in the 2pac to it.

if your power is free. if you have a good enough psu already.
that gear could be pointed at PPC solo mining you would hit a block or two and may make some money.
you must have free power. and a free psu.
pointing it at btc it could break even in about 540 days.
that means you need free power and a free psu.

I like whats going on with the block rewards, thats almost 2 btc worth of transaction fees.... looks like mining is setup to work well even after the block rewards eventually disappear. Hopefully this trend continues.
Ya know, that's the question that keeps coming up with my partner and other folks...what about after mining? My understanding (well...assumption...) has always been that the network would continue to have blocks to solve, but there just would not be the reward of any coins generated...because they've all been created. You'd be solving blocks only for the transaction fees. For someone like myself, that's still worthwhile, at least with the free-powered gear, and I'd like to do what I can to support the network (I run a full node now). The key would be as to whether folks like Kano could afford/would want to run pools at that point. If there's another, more appropriate, place to talk this thing over, please post a link. I find it intriguing. That is in the original design spec by satoshi http://kano.is/bitcoin.pdfPage 4: 6. Incentive To be blunt, any 'bitcoin experts' who can't see that working with the design, are only into bitcoin for the short term. Pump and dump like altcoins. Also one of the reasons why I dislike what core devs are trying to do bitcoin, give them more centralised control and break that design with LN. you happen to be right. btc is the highway of life for all alt coins. don't fuck with the highway. An endless parade of alt coin variations that use btc as the bed rock path to fiat works far better then fucking with the bedrock of crypto coins (BTC)

Just out of curiosity. As Samsung's 10 nm process is already in mass production phase and TSMC's 12 nm will come soon as well. Is it planned in the near future to develop more efficient ASICs using these technologies?
Not sure about Samsung's capacity to manufacture for bitcoin mining companies. So far i think BW is the only one sourcing from them. the rest are all at TSMC. If Samsung does manage to take 10nm to the market, vendors like Qualcomm, Apple, etc with deep pockets would likely take priority to get orders. And TSMC's 12nm is actually a revised version from 16nm architecture, which is not a genuine 12nm. yeah but read my post above I would think the next chip will be a reworked bm1387

no not in the near future. by this 20180 in the spring they may go to a 10nm/12nm but frankly. they made build a second 14/16nm chip that is better then the current chip. they have done this before. I believe they had 2 different 28nm chips. the bm1384 chip in the s5 was 28nm the bm1385 chip in the s7 was 28nm

I am going to wait and see what the new batch looks like. Please count me out.
no worries. I only have 1 unit and was going to get 2 shares. It looks as if we are short for a full buy at the moment. So let me keep this open but not ready for coin payment.

those solid usb bridges were nice but they would be specific to a particular hub and useless for all others.
what might be nice is a simple circuit board with one usb plug/socket on the board and then a pigtail cable for the other usb plug so the board supports the miner and the pigtail plugs into any nearby socket.
that way the miner is supported instead of flopping around, it gets extra power and it can be used with any hub.
That would be good, but I have a fix if you can find the bridges. Fast check on the two sticks The have been running none stop since Feb 1 and HW = 0 for both sticks photos soon ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FZf6ETLK.jpg&t=663&c=7EDiFKqArLcuaw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FB67yQpz.jpg&t=663&c=IMzUk1j-3GCHAA) picture that on this ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FpudIJxp.png&t=663&c=ItigaTsHtzGJ8A)

Yes and we would roll prize over to March. This type of alteration of plans is typical for miners. I kept the controller for the avalon 721 that was in my garage for a backup part. The avalon was added to the controller at the solar array. I now have a spare controller which is the rasp pi 1 model b. So far all 3 units are working. And at the moment diff is doing well That Gray color means we are real time negative hash rate. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fzyl7gS8.png&t=663&c=NyUdJgpIvaTnEA)

hi all
i want to know what is the difference between all the method pool usin...
pplns...pps....dgm ....score...PPLNSG...smpps.... i saw some info on wiki but wasnt that clear for me.
if you a site who explain clearly ....well i mean for a noob
and second question , what cdf mean? cdf 14% .. ?
thanks all
you guys great takin time to explain me things ,here and in private.
Cdf%. Of 14%. Means you are in the top 14% of making a block speed wise. By speed wise I am counting shares not time. Or you were slower then 13 of 100 and faster then 86 of 100. A cdf of 99% Means you lost to 99 out of 100 speed wise. So low cdf is good for a block. Do not confuse luck % it is different then cdf %

im can undervolt my rx470 and do same values for XMR ?
Thanks Almir
Maybe. Just set your volts a little lower and see what happens.

Thanks for that one, Cirtonick.
A bit OT, but I'm not hearing back from Jon yet (it's early there)...anyone know if I can run this 721 and the new 741 from the same controller that's been running the 721? It has the most recent .img on it.
yes and in the same chain. or so I have been told.
