2681  Economy / Economics / Re: My investments ahead of the 2024 halving 100% Bitcoin on: January 12, 2023, 04:09:03 PM
   -  It's your choice first and we respect everyone's opinion. That's good for you, and most people here in the crypto space believe that bitcoin is a good long-term investment apart from the good features it has because you have a lot of trust in bitcoin.
The opinion of other people must be respected, especially when it comes to Bitcoin which is clearly very suitable for long-term investment. Because everyone here will also be very happy and feel very happy when they can find profits through investing in Bitcoin. And now Bitcoin has also begun to slowly increase in the market.

Quote
Now, if others believe in altcoins even if in our eyes it is not good, we should still respect it. Because not all altcoins are as bad as we think, like what happened with SHIB, many people did not believe in it, but when it suddenly increased, many people made a lot of money from it because they bought a lot when it was cheap.
Altcoins like SHIB have gone viral and paid dividends for people who believed in them when they were cheap, but I still don't see them as long term investments. Because for me SHIB is only suitable to be owned for a while without having to keep it for too long like storing Bitcoin. That's my opinion of SHIB and indeed very different from my opinion of Bitcoin.

Indeed, Shiba Inu I think will ony be good in long term investment if they will do burn billions of SHIB, But I don't see its happening instead what I saw most of the time was hype in the social media, new partnership in business something like that. But of course, for me even SHIB will going to have a thousands of partners in business if there is no innovation or burning happen to their supply, everything will just be a clear hype only.

And of course, bitcoin will always be a winner for us as an investment for long term, this was already proven and tested
to all of us who believed in it.

SHIB is still burning their supply every day, but it will take a long time because their total supply is too large for what they are burning. But even if SHIB has a low supply, that doesn't mean it's a good investment in the long term. From the time it was created until now, other than being used for hype, I don't see it having any benefits. It is not a long-term investment, it's like other useless memes, but it is luckier to get help from sharks than from others.

If talking about the long-term, only bitcoin is worth holding, altcoins or shitcoins are only suitable for short-term and speculation.
2682  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: January 12, 2023, 03:55:47 PM
Any man that seeks to follow money becomes misled.
Money is meant to follow you, while you are meant to follow value.  Create value, solve problems, and do it well, you'll attract people to follow you; remember, money follows people with value.

What's your take on this?

Money is definitely a motivator if you want to live comfortably. As our world depends totally on money for achieving a comfortable life or at least meeting your obligations, earning should be one of your main goals if you truly want to experience a hassle-free life. But there lies a difference between rich and being satisfied. A person may be rich but he may feel empty on the inside especially if they have no friends, etc.

The way to deal with this is to balance a healthy lifestyle with your peers and earning money. While the latter should be one of your main focuses, you should not totally discredit other means as this will keep you active in other aspects of your life.

I don’t think our world depends totally on money for achieving a comfortable lifestyle like you say. What you would define to be a comfortable life would differ from the next person.
If you want to truly want to experience a hassle free life, search for inner peace within yourself and then get the money as money is obviously important. Only then would you lead a hassle free life. There are people who are happy and satisfied with the little they’ve got and do not need money to “live comfortably” as they’re comfortable with their way of life.

I think what he said was quite harsh, but I will agree that it is true. Nowadays, our world is entirely dependent on money, without money you will never be able to live comfortably in a world where money is used as a measure everywhere.

It is often said that money cannot buy peace or happiness, but I think that is no longer true today. I firmly believe that you will not be able to get a wife without money, nor will your marriage be happy without money. And without money, you cannot find a peaceful place in this world.

When the news about Bale's retirement was flying I thought he retired from international football which could be after non excellent world cup outing.
It was when I paid much attention that I understood that he retired in football I total.
I am not pleased with that when player like Iniesta is till playing football.
Bale would have chosen another club to pay for more 3yrs before retirement.

Perhaps he wants to focus on his 2nd priority, "golf". I read somewhere that he wasn't allowed to play golf during World Cup by Wales coach, and he likely couldn't play as much as he wants if he still plays football. As a player who has won some major tournaments, it's not a hard choice I suppose.

It goes without saying that no one will ever forget the legendary goal that he scored against Barcelona during his career. There is no one I am aware of who has such a type of heat map. There was no doubt that he was a legendary player. In my opinion, if he had not been injured, he could have played for a longer period of time.

While he was in his prime, he was one of the most dangerous men his opponents faced. To be honest, it is not very surprising that he has decided to retire from football. As we look back on the last few years, especially in light of what has been happening to him, it is easy to understand why.
2684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 09, 2023, 07:00:57 PM
Khulna Tigers vs Chattogram Challengers todays match going good. I enjoy the match . Khulna Tigers give 178 run terget. A.Khan played a great innings  against Chattogram Challengers. I enjoy his batting innings his batting says that he playing  T20 match. But Chattogram Challengers made 104 run without loss. Looks like Chattogram Challengers going to win the match..
Currently two popular franchise T20 leagues are running along with ODI matches between New Zealand and Pakistan. The Big Bash League and Bangladesh Premier League both are started approximately same time that is why Many may be missing the game. I was very impressed by today's match in Bangladesh Premier League. The match was between Chattogram Challengers vs Khulna Tigers. In the Khulna Tigers team Azam Khan and Chattogram Challengers team Usman Khan both scored centuries which surprised me. They also have one thing in common as both were unbeaten throughout the innings. Which does not happen often in any T20 match.

In the match between Khulna vs Chattagram, two Pakistani batsmen, Azam Khan and Usman Khan performed really well. Both of them basically single-handedly took their team to every respectable total. Both of them had centuries.

You know, In a T20 match, it is very hard to see centuries from a player. And we got to see two centuries in one T20 match. I know that this tournament is not turning out to be a good one. But it is really certainly entertaining. But it could be more entertaining. If this type of performance was seen from a Bangladeshi cricketer.

I am using this version of Electrum 4.3.2 which I've downloaded from the official website.

You just scared me! If this is the case then I would say no online wallet is safe.

I would like to know if you hired any staff for campaign management, Or do you handle all the work by yourself single handly? Find out if someone else is using your computer.

Many times we use "Team Viewer" or "Any Desk" software for online meetings, and these are one of the reasons for getting hacked.
2686  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: January 09, 2023, 12:01:17 PM
I don't know about it OP but your post could be a little anti-poor, not anti-poverty. We have to understand thaf oftentimes, poverty is never a choice for them to make but a culmination of circumstances that ultimately lead then to that moment. For me, it's hard to think about investing your money for the near future, when your kids are sick today and you'll have just about enough money to feed your family tomorrow. We oftentimes overlook other people's struggles just because it somehow worked out for us but you gotta admit, sometimes what separates us from them is just sheer dumb luck. Consider that.

I really don't like what the OP is saying, it sounds like he is looking down on the poor, and I agree with you that we are just getting luckier than them, not smarter than them. I wish those who are looking down on the poor to try once in the situation of the poor, I want to see how hard those people will work and how they will invest when there is no money to eat. Conversely, if those poor people were in our position, they could be more successful than we are.
2687  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe racism has come to stay!! ? on: January 09, 2023, 11:39:20 AM
The majority of American adults believe that more than 150 years after the 13th Amendment ended slavery in the country, the legacy of slavery still affects how black people are treated in modern American culture. According to a recent Pew Research Center study, more than four out of ten respondents believe that racial equality has not been sufficiently advanced in the country. There is also some doubt that black people will ever enjoy equal rights with white people.
Racism would last forever. It would always be branded and rebranded to suit different societies and times. American Society would find it very difficult to eradicate racism because it has been institutionalized. The political, social, and economic sector of America doesn't favor blacks and other colored people. The police and judicial system has not been fair to the blacks which have led to a high rate of extrajudicial killings and racially influenced court judgement. Donald Trump's tenure as American President promoted racial discrimination to the extent that racists were openly celebrated by the government. African Americans also contribute to the racial discrimination they suffer. They must ensure they utilize educational and developmental opportunities, shun crime and be willing to contribute to the nation productively.

Agree! The United States always upholds the slogan of human rights, many people say that in the US human rights or human freedom always come first. But according to me, those things are ingrained in their minds and it's like a genetic disease that can't be completely cured and evils like racism that will never go away in their country.

Racism, and discrimination against women, and LGBT will always exist in this world, as long as people are greedy and jealous, these stories of discrimination will never disappear.

No matter what Putin, Bieden, or Zelensky is doing. It is affecting the world and especially the citizens and neighboring around these countries. Also, the rest of the world faces the consequences of these wars. Therefore, they must consider ordinary citizens before making any rubbish move to prove their superior position.

What they care about are their power and status, they have never cared about our lives, to put it bluntly, we are just trash in front of them. They will do it regardless of tricks, willing to sacrifice millions of lives as long as they achieve their goal. I just hope they achieve their goals soon and share the profits with each other in the ongoing war in Ukraine to quickly end the war and bring peace to us. Zelensky is like us pointing the pawn on their chessboard, who has never been valuable in a fight.
2689  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Banking is more reliable and faster on: January 08, 2023, 04:40:35 PM
I can boldly say that Bitcoin Banking is more reliable and fast because Bitcoin transactions is been done through wallet, the only problem that may occur is if the wallet is not correct another challenge is if the transaction is been encountered with down network but this is in rare cases.

Lol! We all love bitcoin here! But that does not mean we will criticize the banking system and find flaws in it or even think about replacing the banking system. That should not be the case! Bitcoin can not challenge the retail banking segment in terms of speed and convenience. It can only challenge it in terms of anonymity. If you want to talk about speed and fees, bitcoin can only challenge international settlements. The entire banking system can't be replaced!

Bitcoin is convenient for some and banking is convenient for some! They must not be compared because they are structurally different. If you send money to an incorrect account by mistake - you may get it back in the centralized banking system, but in bitcoin, there's no way! Every system has its pros and cons, let's respect that and choose what's convenient for you!

I know we all here invest in bitcoin and love it, but we shouldn't exaggerate about it. I don't understand why people are looking for the bad points of banks, fiat and comparing it to bitcoin. It's a shame that we try to defame them while we still use banks and fiat every day. Bitcoin is excellent, but it is limited to some instances, it cannot solve or provide all the services that banks offer us.

I want to ask if someone wants to borrow money for business, can bitcoin help them? Or people will run to the bank to borrow money and we'll go back to talking bad about them behind their backs. Each has its own use function and use case, all of which are necessary for us.
Actually, the lending business is already a reality in crypto universe. People willing to borrow money can find it at different exchanges. I don't know if taxes are inferior to the ones from our traditional banks, though. In my opinion the only disadvantage of bitcoin banking services compared to fiat ones is the security issue. Our government has a Credit Guarantee Fund which ensures nobody is scammed by the bank as long as they hold up to 47.838,65$ on their accounts, per ID. So, scandals like Celsius and FTX wouldn't happen here, while in crypto industry it's a constant threat.

Maybe I missed it? Can we borrow money on exchanges? How? I guess if you want to borrow, you must have collateral, for example, if you're going to borrow USDT, you must ensure that your account has BTC or some valuable coin, then you can mortgage to borrow. Is that true? Because I've never tried them before? But in case, we don't have BTC or altcoins, can we get a loan, and can we borrow long term with a low interest rate?

Currently, banks support many different types of loans, even if you don't have any assets to mortgage, you can get a loan with just your identification document. I don't think it will work on crypto. For large amounts and we need a long term loan to do business, I don't think exchanges can still handle it.

2690  Economy / Economics / Re: If your passive income beats inflation rate, deposit might be a better choice. on: January 08, 2023, 04:22:04 PM
It would be better for me to invest in bitcoin than to keep my money in the bank because, with so many fees that would be applied to my savings, I would never get good returns. The amount can reduce because of these fees. Unfortunately, the bank will not tell you what the fees are. They just said that it was an administration fee and others. Well, a lot of people believe that.

I have never tried to deposit at a bank, but based on my friend's story, if the money we used to deposit at the bank is a small amount, the amount we will receive is also small. That's why I've been trying to allocate some money to invest in bitcoin since I got to know bitcoin. And by waiting about 2-4 years, the return I received from bitcoin already exceeded the interest offered by the bank.

I agree that investing in bitcoin or any other investment is better than deposit in terms of profit, but in terms of safety, I don't think you are right. Once it is an investment, there is always a risk, not just a profit, if the investment is only profitable, we are already billionaires. What if bitcoin never rises again? Have you thought about that? Or do you have any proof that bitcoin is definitely going to grow? Everything is risky and what I mean here, it would be wise to know our asset diversifications, invest and deposit.
It is true that there will be risks behind the investment, say investing in bitcoin. But as long as we can figure out how to reduce the risk, we will not think too much about the risk but think about how we can increase our investment. Only faith and belief in bitcoin can strengthen us to hold on to bitcoin until its price increases and you have seen that bitcoin investors have been holding it for a long time and waiting for the right moment to sell their bitcoins. But for other investments, I don't know. And that's why before people invest in any type of, they have to learn everything so they will be able to manage the investment.

Investing in bitcoin is considered the riskiest investment, and there is no way for you to reduce your risk by just investing in bitcoin. Early bitcoin investors, they get huge profits, but there is no guarantee that our investment from now on will still be profitable without risk. As I said: there is no proof that bitcoin is 100% sure bitcoin will increase in the future, so to reduce the risk, you need to diversify other assets, bitcoin does not help you reduce risk.

If you are an investor, you need to consider the risks rather than ignore them, especially with a new and volatile asset like bitcoin.
2691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 08, 2023, 04:06:43 PM
I don't think Depay will be suitable to play for Manchester United, so it would be nice if Manchester United looked at other players if they wanted to buy players.
I actually hope that Manchester United can promote their young players instead of buying players from other clubs, which is what they used to do in the past. Or they are looking for younger players that they will coach later to become great players. Because I see that several player transfers carried out by Manchester United lately seem to have failed, not all but most of them don't contribute much to the development of the club. We can see from Garnacho, yes they can bring in a potential player like that.
Manchester United needs a forward and I think it's not right to promote their young players at this time, Manchester United needs a leader or a star label player for their front line to make it better, after failing to get Cody Gakpo now Manchester United is rumored with several other players, one of them is what I think is good for their team, namely Joan Felix.
and for depay, I don't think this player will develop anymore, he tried at Manchester United a few seasons ago, but he failed to show his best performance as well as at Barcelona, this is a player whose career is fading.
Depay is not going to be ideal for Manchester United at all. It will be better for Manchester United to actually play a young player as the main forward instead of playing Memphis Depay. At least the young players will improve.
Manchester United needs to get a good striker. A striker who is almost like a star. I do not know what they are thinking. But I think Victor Osimhen can be a good option for them. I don’t know what is the status of Osimhen's transfer right now. But I want Manchester United to at least try to get him.

It is not going to be a good deal for Manchester United at all. But it is going to be good for Barcelona because they are really trying to get rid of the players that currently do not provide any value to the team. And obviously, Memphis Depay is one of them.

It’s basically free money for Barcelona if they can sell him. But I am not sure that Manchester United is actually going to get him on the team. Because right now, even though Manchester United does need a striker, I highly doubt that Memphis Depay will be able to provide what Manchester United will be asking from him. And remember he was already a flop once for Manchester United.
2692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 08, 2023, 03:47:16 PM
Brentford seems to be worth considering for this season. since November Brentford continues to show positive match results. in the match before the break Brentford managed to beat Manchester City. and after the season restart even Brentford has yet to lose. even in the last game yesterday Brentford was able to beat Liverpool quite surprisingly. Brentford's strategy of defending and counterattacking proved effective.

Every season in the EPL one of the teams becomes the underdog and plays outstandingly well. The season that team is Brentford in my opinion. Currently, they are the ninth in the league with 26 points and they have won six games. In the last game, they defeated Liverpool which was really unexpected for both teams.

As you said they are defending quite well and their counter-attacks seem really deadly at times. We can see that this is proving to be positive for them because they are winning games with this strategy. I hope that they will be able to make the top six in the later parts of the season.
2693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 08, 2023, 02:41:24 PM
These teams are some of the best in the world. Maybe he should be given the offer to replace Didier Deschamps the French national team coach. The United States would greatly need a coach of Zidane's class because they would be the co-host of the world cup and I am sure they wouldn't want to end like Qatar that ended thier journey in the group stage. The Portuguese national team is in shambles. There seems to be internal conflict in the dressing room, therefore a coach like Zidane would be able to control the players. Brazil's Quarterfinals exit from the world cup is one of their worst performances in the world. Maybe the Brazilian national football team needs to say goodbye to Tite. Rejecting these offers is a pointer that he wants to coach a club, is targeting a particular country or he is not currently prepared for any coaching job.
According always to them, the following news happened.
Zidane does not want a national team outside France.
So according to them, they are very reliable in France, Zidane if he will have a team before 2026 it will be a club team since the bench of France is occupied till that date.
In addition that if zidane was also recently rejecting an offer from US to become a coach. Deschamps was also signing the new contract until the next world cup. that means zidane will have no place in the france's national team until the next world cup. If france will able to go to the final or become the next winner again and then deschamps may be signing a new contract again with france's national team. It seems like that zidane has no choice other than coaching the club

Zidane is probably actually okay being without work. Because otherwise, he would actually want to coach some other team or club. And I also believe that if he really had to work, he would have come forward and expressed that. But he didn’t. And right now, France is not an option. Obviously, because the coach has renewed his contract with France.

A few months ago, I remember we heard about him being the coach of PSG. Right now, there is no news about that either. Is Atletico Madrid going to be an option for him?

I think Real Madrid's performance was no better than Villarreal's in the first half. They had some good chances that should have been scored, it's just that because of the selfishness of some players, these good opportunities have been in vain. Villarreal played pretty well too. They can offset Real Madrid's game throughout the match, and they have attacks that are quite troublesome for Real Madrid. I think the team with less mistakes will have more chances to win this game.
You are right, Real Madrid's performance in the first half was no better than Villarreal. In fact, I can really say that Real Madrid's defense was very overwhelmed at guarding Villarreal's attack, which almost scored in several opportunities. I expected Real Madrid to change their strategy in the second half, I really saw they were bad defensively. It is quite possible that Villarreal would have scored if Real Madrid had not played better in the second half.

As I expected, Villarreal are actually scoring goals while I'm writing. Now I hope there is an increase in Real Madrid form after being 1 goal behind Villarreal.

The match between Villarreal and Real Madrid has already ended. The score is something that I did not expect. And I think most people did not expect this type of score from Real Madrid. They lost against Villareal, by 2–1.

Now this means Barcelona has another chance to get ahead in terms of points compared to Real Madrid. Barcelona and Real Madrid are on the same point. But now Real Madrid has played one more match than Barcelona. This is going to be interesting to see how Barcelona is going to perform in the next match.

I thought Real Madrid had enough chances to get ahead in this match. They just failed to convert those chances into something meaningful.

The comparisons between the internet and the crypto industry will never end.
I don't want to be the guy, who puts salt in the wound, but crypto cannot be compared to the world wide web.
The internet has utility, but what's the utility of crypto? Buy low-Sell high? What's the utility of blockchain technology, other than being the infrastructure for a bunch of speculative assets(Bitcoin and the altcoins)? I'm not saying that Bitcoin being a speculative asset is something bad, but I simply can't seem to find any other utility tied to Bitcoin. Privacy? Well, BTC isn't anonymous. Being a currency for the unbanked?
In most cases, you can't buy BTC without a bank account. Yes, crypto is here to stay and the scams won't crypto from growing, but the real question is: How useful crypto actually is?

What you said is not wrong, cryptodon't have any application other than bump-dump for profit, in a way, it's all just a money game. I don't know if it can be developed and researched further and put into practical application, but it doesn't bring any utility to life at the moment. Thousands of altcoin projects are created with the claim of creating utility that will solve problems for society but so far, apart from hype to scam each other, not a single project has been put into practice.

Aren't we using it already in many ways? We even donate to Ukraine with crypto.

It's not a big deal to mention, if not using cryptocurrencies, there are other ways, even PayPal can do it.
2698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 06, 2023, 06:35:42 PM
Sassuolo messed up terribly in their last game against Sampdoria and lost a good opportunity to earn 3 points, playing against Fiorentina away from home will not be an easy task for the players of Sassuolo as Fiorentina are a tough team to beat whenever they are playing at their home stadium. I guess there is a high chance for Sassuolo to suffer another defeat in this upcoming match against Fiorentina.
Fiorentina are very superior in this match, because they are playing at home in Week 17, while Sassuolo travels to Fiorentina's headquarters in less promising conditions, after suffering two consecutive defeats against Sampdoria and Bologna. So that the chances of getting full points when they travel to Fiorentina headquarters are very small, especially now that Fiorentina is chasing full points to improve the standings.
While Fiorentina were also less impressive in the previous two matches, they drew against Monza and lost against AC Milan, but I think they will get a win against Sassuolo in week 17, because they are superior playing at home.
At the start of the season now Sassuolo is still not in good shape and they only have 4 wins and more defeats with 8x so indeed this situation is difficult for Sassuolo to get points at home Fiorentina which is slightly better than the away team I don't expect anything bad more so for Sassuolo as they have been on a losing streak over the last few weeks.
Bookies also offer great odds for Sassuolo, it's just that it will be a risk if taken, but I quite believe that Fiorentina will win, even if you say the game is not impressive, but when facing teams below that, at least the hosts have a little ambition to win.

Sassuolo is not performing well at all this season. They do not have one win in the last five matches. Actually, they only have four wins so far this season, 16 matches have already been played.

Personally, I do not believe that they will be able to win against Fiorentina, even though Florentina is not in the best form right now. I am actually not going to be surprised if this match ends in a draw. My opinion is that it is going to be a little bit of a risk to predict a Sure win for Fiorentina. But the thing is Sassuolo should not win, and it will be a good result for them if they can somehow come out with one point from this match.

Right now there is war between good and evil.
Do not worry good always Will win no matter who will win or lose only you need to know that bad guys at the end always Will lose.
Who's good ?
Good Are honest loyal and right at least with their own people.

Those who been betrayed Even their own people will be judged AS bad on god eyes.

Anyways If you Are good you got nothing to worry about the bad ones need to worry about only.

All books and bibles record that good always triumphs over evil, but I'm not sure if that's true or if the world is working in a different way. If so, why do good people always suffer before evil ones? Why in the government, those who enforce justice are always greedy and cruel, ready to do anything as long as someone gives them more money, that person will be correct. I really want the world to work as you say, but I believe that in today's world, whoever has a lot of money is a good person and vice versa.

I'm locking voting sometime in February so vote on Smiley

The trial was adjourned until October on the grounds that Sam had refused to plead guilty to the announced charges. I am beginning to believe that he will only have to spend a while in prison or maybe even less house arrest than the 115-year prison sentence that had been predicted. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the result, given what he donates to politicians, and with the money he has on hand, he can buy justice anywhere, anytime. Maybe he will find a way to lure two of his accomplices to accept me for him, and he will pay them a handsome sum.
