Mourinho is a good manager but I would say underdogs are becoming more and more capable and are displaying some good football nowadays.
I have different opinion. Top teams are not performing. City is the only exception.

Look at Utd, they are inconsistent. Without Vardy Leicester is too poor (not saying them they fulfill the criteria of top team), Liverpool is having their shittiest time, Chelsea, Tottenham with average performance.

Yeah that is also another reason. I would say bit of both. What about West Ham then? They last season were having relegation scare and are right now performing top performance of their time. Utd, I won't speak much. Leicester yeah they rely too much on Vardy but I think there are other players who can make difference. Iheanacho, Maddison, Barnes, Perez, Castagne - they are not the best but they could become a very good players and I believe they will at one point be performing even without relying  much on Vardy. Liverpool(luck is not in their favour), Chelsea are doing great ever since Lampard left.

Spurs still have time to turn this around and make into top 5 but given the teams who are below them following for at least top 5 finish including Liverpool is what makes it much hard.

another crazy, intense and insanely good match between AST and VP that finished in the most unfashionable way? lol

Last table and what a great table it has turned out to be. Certainly as the commentators coined the Table D as group of death... Some were calling Astralis vs Team Liquid as El Classico of CS lol Cheesy Cheesy. Today Astralis were all guns out and even Xyp was showing some glimpse against VP. VP have 6 points so not much pressure and as for Astralis, the win against VP makes them the table leader for now.

Damn, What a crazy match between Virtus Pro and EG I am witnessing.
just insane!
for those who missed it, this clip from Jame in map 1 pretty much tells you how crazy this match was https://youtu.be/D81LB2FDEg4
and then Dev1ce against Liquid!!! solo carrying his entire team with some of the best CS i've seen from him in a long time...i picked a good day to watch CSGO (:

Jame and Yekindar are the core of VP. They are the one who are usually giving the team first kill and give their team advantage. That Ace from Jame was sick but TBH there were lot of ACE moments in that game. Check out the Cerq kill on the OT 3rd map (I guess it was the round that put EG score to 17), that guy denied the bomb defuse with AWP shot through smoke. There were lot of CT under that smoke and he hit the right one..damn...

I didn't watched Astralis vs EG completely but the scoreline made me watch EG's game against VP and boy it turned out to be so great decision. EG are ranked in double digits but they are playing like a team in top 5-6 IMO. (judging on the base of VP and Astralis game)

betting wise, how did u guys do? it was a pretty good day for me, started with a win-lose-win-lose kind of loop until i said fck it and went with a live multi after Fnatic lost game 2 + Astralis Cool

Damn good. Here were my two bets from yesterday:

Mourinho can be forgiven last season, it was his first season, now in his sophomore year, nothing has improved for Tottenham, I really don't know what's the problem, because there are times in matches that you see this Tottenham team able to compete with any team, and some other time they play like a championship team.

Tottenham's management chose him to lead the team and he actually did lead the team good for a while but after that it was all horrible. Spurs under him performed quite well till January but after February it was all flop show. However they have settled down in PL but they lost in Europa and are out now. Mourinho's job is now hanging down by the thread but still they are in 6th and they have matches in hand to change the table.

Mourinho is a good manager but I would say underdogs are becoming more and more capable and are displaying some good football nowadays. So its becoming quite hard. Still with the manager of that stature there are lot of expectations and fulfilling them or not is what counts in the end.

It was a really bad decision to sell Eriksen I think. Maybe his performance in the last season was not good but the older statistics of him was quite good. He was really helpful for the team. Now he is at Inter but he hasn't even scored a goal or made an assist in the Serie A so far in this season.
Levy (Totteham boss) did not have too much choice as Eriksen will free in the next season if they don't sell him to Inter Milan or any other clubs. After a big successful season in a Champions League, internal problems occured in Tottenham and Eriksen did not feel happy in the club.

He made the decision for himself not anyone. Tottenham were trying to have him and match the financial demands if he had but seems like Eriksen was looking out for more opportunities. He made the decision and he is now unsettled at Inter. I still recall that Spurs were really having hard time with injuries and they were out of key players. It was tough for Mourinho and his men but they pulled through then.

Watch this, discussion b/w Levy, Eriksen in front of Mourinho about the Inter offer: https://youtu.be/ef8oRSbUrXg

Here goes my selections for the last one:

Loyola - Oregon State -> 1 + over
Baylor - Villanova -> 1 + under
Arkansas- Oral Roberts -> 2 + under
Houston - Syracuse -> 2 + under
Gonzaga - Creighton -> 1 + under
Michigan - Florida -> 1 + under
Alabama - UCLA -> 1 + under
USC - Oregon -> 2 + over

It would be harder for football to use this format because instead of just home/away win, there is draw as well but I really miss football MM though. It would be nice if someday we can get it back as a regular weekly contest on sportsbet

Yeah football MM's were great. Those draw selections were the ones which made a huge difference in the leaderboard. It would still be lovely if we could have one MM every month or perhaps maybe a reduced prize and running every week. Well its upto them in the end.

Still appreciate the decision of allowing some last MM rounds and appreciate all the extra and special prizes exclusively introduced for us in the past by Sportsbet.

Damn, What a crazy match between Virtus Pro and EG I am witnessing. Haven't seen such match for a long time. VP got the first map but EG were on top in 2nd [won my bet] and in 3rd map I had bet on overtime-Yes and my hopes were all down after VP went on strong with 8 stratight rounds win on Map 3 but after 14-4 scoreline EG made a crazy comeback to come down to 14-15 and last round VP somehow hold EG down and 15-15 Boom!! Its OT !!!!!

All loss  from yesterday betting on Astralis and O2.5 map on Fnatic vs TL recovered... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

2690  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAmWATCH] NFL Jason Verrett Twitter Hacked; Promoting Elon Musk Scam Site on: March 26, 2021, 03:15:45 PM
It seems that the social attack is what makes many people have their account hacked, but this does not explain the question and the persistence of attackers obtaining a lot of verified Twitter accounts that are used in scam.

One of the problems with Twitter is that verifying accounts has become easy. I know many people whose accounts have been verified and they are directors of institutions or public joint-stock companies and they have only a few thousand followers.

Don't you think that the main problem is that people fall for this too easily. I know that there are many loopholes in such platforms but people should also think twice before falling for this. This type of hacking will continue on and there would be always a type of trap laid out there. But well people will always fall for this as they think they are getting money too easily. They don't care if they throw a penny for that as they are promised to get some unreal return.

There are also some celebrities who actually had tweeted about scam and people have blindly invested in such.

Here is the news about culprit who hacked twitter last year: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2021/mar/16/florida-teen-sentenced-twitter-bitcoin-hack

He is now behind bars for 3 years. Lucky for him as in court it was proven that he was teenager. It's gonna be same for that guy as well^.

Here is how Graham Clark did this:

Quote
A researcher who worked with the FBI on the investigation into the Twitter breach said that the hack was the result of painstaking research Clark and the other two hackers did into Twitter employees. They started by scraping LinkedIn in search of Twitter employees who were likely to have access to account-holder tools. The hackers then used features LinkedIn makes available to job recruiters to obtain the employees’ cell phone numbers and other private contact information.

The attackers called the employees and used the information obtained from LinkedIn and other public sources to convince them they were authorized Twitter personnel. Work-at-home arrangements caused by the COVID-19 pandemic also prevented the employees from using normal procedures such as face-to-face contact to verify the identities of the callers.

With the trust of the targeted employees, the attackers directed them to a phishing page that mimicked an internal Twitter VPN. The attackers then obtained credentials as the targeted employees entered them. To bypass two-factor authentication protections Twitter has in place, the attackers entered the credentials into the real Twitter VPN portal within seconds of the employees entering their info into the fake one. Once the employee entered the one-time password, the attackers were in.

The hackers then took over celebrity accounts and used them to push a cryptocurrency scam.

“I am giving back to the community,” an account belonging to Biden soon tweeted. “All Bitcoin sent to the address below will be sent back doubled! If you send $1,000, I will send back $2,000. Only doing this for 30 minutes... Enjoy!”

Similar tweets came from other celebrity accounts.

Yesterday just when I was thinking that favourites are winning matches today and so Astralis should also win their match, Astralis lost their match against EG as well  Cry Cry Grin. Astralis were making so much mistakes yesterday and EG did their best to punish Astralis when they had the chance and it turned out to be fruitful for them as they have defeated one of the top teams in their starting match so that's a good start for them.

Astralis have tho yet to face Virtus.Pro , Liquid. Virtus.pro is a difficult opponent and Liquid are also turning out to be difficult one slowly as Fallen is leading the team and so far TL have been performing well.
2694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 25, 2021, 05:21:49 PM
let's hope Fnatic are a bit rusty after a one-month break

They played the first map strong and watching them playing like that made me go for O2.5 maps as Liquid at Vertigo is not very easy to handle and with the gap and performance of Fnatic I thought they will definitely lose out the second map. Well they lost the second map but the main catch is that they lost the first map as well after leading it at one point.  Cheesy Cheesy

Guess I will wait this round a little to take help from picks from you guys. But hopefully we will have good enough time to pick our selections unlike the last time.

Lol 🤣🤣.

 Like I said, they brought upon themselves and even they do advance to next stage , I don't think they would advance that much further with that kind of play. Remember group C was the easiest of them all and Navi in this kind of situation tells us all that how bad they are right now at CS.

I actually had a bet on over 2.5 maps for Furia game and then they manage to loose 2:0.

After the first map, that game was all screaming going over 2.5 maps but Furia did a flop show in 2nd. Cloud9 barely gave them any breath in the 2nd map. That was really horrible play from Furia. The worst I have ever seen from Furia.

btw, some ppl are saying Furia wanted to throw the match so that Navi's chances of qualifying to playoffs would get even smaller. Gambit and Furia qualified to the next round, so it's all about the 3rd place. Should all the top teams win tomorrow, standings will remain the same as the table below:

Yeah that could be one possibility given how Navi could be a threat for others in next stage as compared to Cloud9. Damn didn't see this coming. Navi fans will be so much furious but well Navi brought this upon themselves. They weren't able to play good CS when things mattered.
