2681  Economy / Services / Re: [CONTEST] Da Dice Avatar Contest | Results announced!! on: April 21, 2015, 03:01:08 PM
Everyone won a prize but me Cry
My entry wasn't accepted because of watermark? Cry (What's the watermark btw? is it my username on the avatar?)

Haha, just kidding; I've designed it for myself not for the contest. Congratz everyone!
2682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MBC - MeatBallCoin on: April 21, 2015, 01:53:04 PM
Guyz relax, That's just an "experimental & fun" coin, it's not for usage etc.
There's no roadmap because it's created with coincreator.net.
It has no any developers
If you've mined it just take the op's offer, it's not gonna worth anything.

2684  Other / Meta / Re: BitCoinTalk hidden pages - undocumented features on: April 21, 2015, 01:59:45 AM
There's a "patrol" page, you can activate it on the profile settings,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol

it shows newbie posts for the mods I think.
2685  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Seeking Advertising network which accepts bitcoin on: April 21, 2015, 01:12:46 AM
AFAIK, you can create a digital agency and make a deal with google adwords, yahoo ads etc and you can publish your customers ads on those publishers and you got paid in bitcoin and pay in fiat money.

There're over 36.000 ad network that uses google's adwords service.  But I'm not sure that google accepts this kinda service.

Adwords definitely does not accept my business (I checked!). I think your suggestion of creating a digital agency would be workable if they did; we could even go direct with google if they did. I've come across some big adult website ad networks, but have found them to be surprisingly archaic with payment types and feature sets.

This is one of those "Shut up and take my money!" experiences!

If you don't institutionalize your business none of the big networks will accept you. I guess you can try something like that:
Buy or collect adwords/facebook coupons and advertise customers' websites with your personal account, but I think you need to be adwords certified or at least you need to become a verified advertiser.
2686  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Seeking Advertising network which accepts bitcoin on: April 21, 2015, 12:24:08 AM
Most of those networks are used on faucets, crypto releated websites etc, also most of them advertises ponzis, scams etc.
I don't think normal companies would advertise on those website.

If you think the network hashrate is about to jump 30% in one difficulty adjustment the crack you're smoking is too strong. (Yes its happened before, but I'll bet 500:1 it doesn't happen in the next 3 months.)

You're a fucking retard who doesn't read the entire post.

@BlindMayorBitcorn
it's quite bad actually...
2688  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Really Interesting Things Happening Today. on: April 19, 2015, 09:49:26 PM
Well, diff is 47.6 billion now.
according to: https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator
Next difficulty retarget occurs at block 354815.0 (eta 10.7 days): 64127512385.0 / +34.7% [est.] ( I know it can't be more than 25% )

And this one;

I don't think people just shifted their miners. Some people are manipulating the network I think...
2689  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How to make a mining calculator on: April 19, 2015, 06:39:15 PM
Be prepared to carry a lot of digits for your calculations. While you can use floating point I expect, some of the numbers can be quite large, or very small (not negative, but less than 1).
Thanks for the pointers right there, ill keep that in mind. also, you guys looking for some special features that might be helpful for you?

Pool lucks would be cool actually. If you can track & save them for further usage it would be cool.
Because pool luck is quite important factor for mining.
2690  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Really Interesting Things Happening Today. on: April 19, 2015, 06:28:43 PM
First there were no blocks found for 1 hour 20 minutes.
https://blockchain.info/block-height/352792 & https://blockchain.info/block-height/352793

Secondly, Most of last found blocks are "731 kb each".

https://blockchain.info/block-height/352793
https://blockchain.info/block-height/352794
https://blockchain.info/block-height/352795
https://blockchain.info/block-height/352796
https://blockchain.info/block-height/352797
https://blockchain.info/block-height/352800

Bonus: TripleMining found 2 blocks with 160-200 THS
https://blockchain.info/blocks/TripleMining

What's really happening? I don't think that's ordinary, it's strange.

edit: Also Slush's pool couldn't find a single block for 18 hours with around 16 PHS...
2691  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: April 19, 2015, 01:28:21 PM
It depends on the signature campaigns.

For instance a signature campaign pays 0.045 BTC for 60 posts in a month for a member account, so you "may" sell it 0.05 btc
Full member account "may" earn 0.4 btc in a month (on dadice, maybe more now). activity is important yet. if it's 120-199 then it's around 0.1-0.15 if it's over 200 activity that means it'll be Sr in a short time (1-2 months) so it can be sold for 0.2 btc

Sr member accounts 240-399 activity can be sold 0.3 BTC. 400+ accounts may be sold 0.4 btc.

Generally accounts worth 1-1.5x of the top paying fixed signature campaigns.

green trust: doubles the price btw.

It reminds me "ndnd" from Futurama.
2693  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Da Dice] Signature Campaign Discussion Thread | Join The Fun! on: April 19, 2015, 01:16:45 PM
Would anyone mind if we exclude Meta and Beginners and Help boards from next week?

You can certainly post there, but only it won't be counted. But, if we find very useful posts in Beginners and Help we will certainly count them. Smiley

What do you think?

I don't mind.

edit: Beginners section should be discouraged actually. Lots of newbies could be affected and loose money on gambling. I don't want something like that. Gambling is for fun not for ripping off people.
2694  Other / Meta / Re: Table pictures squashed -- Why? on: April 19, 2015, 11:02:37 AM

Presently the PiggyTeam consists of:

piggydev - The original PiggyCoin
developer and representative
neurocis - Opportunity Architect
and Apprentice CoinDev
greenmo -
English Communications Officer
kruug - Webmaster

thisoneee
qawap -
IRC Master and Game Director
richfinch -
Design & Marketing Officer

let's see if this one squashed or not. then i'll edit this.

edit: finally I've found a solution. problem is because of css rules, something is shrinking the left images into 26px I think it's releated with the wrapper, not sure didn't check it. If the admins don't change it then it'll stay as it is.

Here's the solution: select bottom of the letter "q" image. Then quote this message to see what it is Grin

As far as I know begging is not allowed here
Shitcoin ICO's are begging too then.

I don't think that's begging. That's fundraising. But the given address should be confirmed first. I couldn't find it on the fundriser website.

2697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you pay for the keys to the genesis block/address on: April 18, 2015, 06:39:45 PM
Why would you pay that much for just a collectors item? Its not spendable.
Why wouldn't us?
We'll sell it to another collector more expensive Grin

I would pay 100 BTC (I wish I had though.)
2700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain used as a database storage system for records to replace MYSQL? on: April 18, 2015, 05:59:39 PM
It can be developed as a "blogchain" that chain's main purpose is to publish blog posts.
Let's say If I steal someone's blog post on this chain; it'll reject me so I won't be able to post it. Authorship can be verified via public address signing etc.

iThenticate like tools is also needed.

Ps: I've given this example because of mysql & wordpress (blog) relation.

Conclusion, yes it can be done.
