You always have a chance to hit a block, even with 1 th or less. One block gives 25 BTC + the tx fees of the txs included in the block. If you hit 3 blocks, that is ~76 BTC which gives each of you around 7.6 BTC. To get the block, your "share" needs to be over the network difficulty. So ive got some simple bitfurys ( 2 G/s) if i run these for 24/7 i could hit a block, at what chance? proximily it will use max 20 watt p/h |

am i impatient or is there something wrong ? plz help You can multiply that 12 hashes/sec by 4, as you have 4 threads mining (explained earlier in this thread). You can also start the wallet with these parameters for a ~10% boost: HOdlcoin-qt.exe -gen=1 -minermemory=2 -genproclimit=4 I have a bit more than double your hashrate mining atm, and got 4 blocks in the last 24 hours (which is lucky), but none in the last 12. Patience is key since mining is literally random. thx m8 gonna try it , btw my son has much better pc ( amd quadcore 750k ) then i have and he has hashrate of 60H/s without tweaks, so gonna try at his computer |
