2681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: August 12, 2021, 07:48:45 AM
The next hundred years will be a new century. Bitcoin has proved to be the most disruptive technology in the last twelve years. We speculate bitcoin would reach a $100,000 in the next ten years, imagine what it could become in a hundred years.  If the planet isn't invaded by aliens or hijacked by telsa robots, just kidding btw. I think Bitcoin would be that generation currency.
2682  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nigeria to start piloting digital currency in October. Bitcoin.com on: August 12, 2021, 06:10:33 AM
Bank exchange fees between African countries are very high, which is a big problem. Nigeria and Ghana have close trade relations. This is also one of the reasons why the two countries have successively launched digital currencies.
They haven't launched digital currencies yet. They are still just talking about it. And knowing the Nigerian government so well I doubt it will ever come to fruition.
This trend will also spread to other countries in Africa. After all, the operation of cryptocurrency is efficient.
This is not the kind we want to be spreading. CDBC is not a good thing for the crypto community. It is only a means for government to keep control of one's finances and has nothing to do with the cryptocurrency adoption. CDBC is a fruitless attempt by governments to replace bitcoin.
2683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 10, 2021, 06:25:39 PM
I beg to differ with the notion of inter milan having a strong squad, losing your winning coach and top striker after 2020/2021 season is a huge loss and can cause negative shift in the dressing room and thus affecting pattern of play. In regards to As roma, going for icardi will be a plus to Jose mourinho  team who are aiming to hatch a silverware.
2684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 10, 2021, 06:25:01 PM
Nothing good come easy they say. Manchester City champions are liken to the real Madrid of Spain in terms of getting quality players at a exorbitant fee due to the arrears of high profile players and prestige of the team which they have build over the years. So to get the best, one have to pay huge fee and trust me, most premier clubs are enjoying the ride with sales of their best player.
2685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bots on: August 10, 2021, 12:55:24 PM
Bots operate on an automated system, they don't have a mind of their own. That means you are entrusting your trades to a machine.
I see traders on Instagram trying to sell some wonder bot that's going to trade millions for you. Bot scams are easy to fall for. I do not recommend using a bot because it is a bunch of codes and math punched together to follow a certain pattern. This is one trader's strategy being coded in a machine.
If the bots are not scams and they are reputable bots they are 100% better than manually doing it otherwise you have to do that math yourself and risk making a mistake with a bot you can do the math once and it will automatically trade for you in the future.
Bots fail too. My friend bought a bot once(he knows zilch about trading by the way), he funded his account and was set. The bot had good results for the first six weeks but after that it just could not deliver the same results. He contacted the company he bought the bot from and they said he had to upgrade the bot.

2687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you worry about not being able to convert BTC to fiat in future on: August 09, 2021, 06:29:11 AM
Every bitcoiner knows the price value of Bitcoin is not static and is constantly changing. You can use bitcoin as a store value but you can't complain when prices skyrocket or dump hard. The so called stable coin like usdt, usdc are not reliable in my opinion because they ate backed by the US dollar. I prefer decentralized stable coins
2688  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: August 08, 2021, 08:50:24 PM
I commend the 1xbit website is easy to navigate and is user friendly. I am all for bitcoin adoption in the gambling and sports sector and so 1xbit does intrigue me. Not withstanding I think the company should do their best to address the issues on ground. The signature campaign has been on for weeks and still there has been no concrete solution provided by the 1xbit team to disarm the accusations they face. Members of your campaign are handed the red trust because of this.

2689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should you own at least one Bitcoin? on: August 08, 2021, 08:35:35 PM
As of today 1 bitcoin is worth $45,000 now that makes it even harder to afford one bitcoin. The high value price of Bitcoin has discouraged newbies from buying and they opt for alts just because it is cheaper. Thinking about owning a whole Bitcoin is too much pressure to put on one's self. One should only buy as much as you can afford
2690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: August 08, 2021, 08:29:09 PM
When you die your coins die with you unless you set up some kind of system that transfers your coins to your beneficiary after your death. I think with cryptocurrencies in this case it is even worse for the deceased and his family because without the private keys the coins are forever lost.  Another story for the news
2691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me differentiate this thought, teach a man how to fish or give him Bitcoin. on: August 08, 2021, 08:24:01 PM
Teach me how to fish! I rather concern myself with the How, that's the only way to be successful in anything. Give someone money and they will subconsciously be indebted to you forever that's a power trick used by the rich. Poverty starts in the mind, if you give a man btc that doesn't automatically erase the years of poor mentality he has. Knowledge is what a man needs
2692  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a speculative asset or as currency on: August 08, 2021, 07:38:36 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency, that's a fact. Whether it is popularly used and recognised for that purpose is a question that is everyone's mind. Businesses are beginning to accept bitcoin as a means of payment. But here is the challenge most people that hodl bitcoin do not really buy bitcoin to use as a currency but rather they bought as an investment.
2693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2021, 07:25:57 PM
It's been rumoured that Manchester City or PSG will sign Lionel Messi soon. But I've seen this news today:

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58114039

Guardiola says that Messi is not in their thoughts now. He thought that Messi would stay at Barcelona. They signed Jack Grealish and gave the number 10 to him. So, it looks like we may not see Messi at City. PSG seem to be closer to sign him very soon. As they have Neymar and Mbappe also, they will be the deadliest trio surely.

Guardiola signed Jack Grealish a few days ago. Now they don't seem to be thinking of taking Messi to the team. Manchester City will have to spend a lot of money to get Messi in the team, Manchester City may not spend that much extra money at the moment. Messi's next destination is most likely to be PSG. Because there is no shortage of money of PSG. But as far as it seems, Messi will decide to stay in Barcelona at the last moment.

Staying at Barcelona? There is no way for it. Haven't you seen that Barcelona are not able to sign Messi because of having a bad financial condition. And the offer they were preparing to make was against La Liga's structures. So this means there is no way that Barcelona can sign Messi now.

So, we should focus on which team he will go to. City or PSG?

That's right, Messi is definitely leaving Barcelona and nothing can change that anymore
Barcelona is in huge financial trouble and can't keep Messi because otherwise they would have violated the financial "fair play ' rule  of the Spanish league.
Many years of bad club politics have come to fruition and now the club is in serious trouble,  without Messi and with a lot of key injured players at the start of the new football season.
I hate to be the one to break it to you all but I think its high time Messi left Barcelona fc I mean he's been playing at the club for like what since he was a teenager. The guy played with Xavi and the  likes. We love messi but he's not as young as he used to be. A new challenge is what he needs. Messi is a Barca legend and will be missed but Barcelona will do just fine without him.
2694  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: August 08, 2021, 07:22:41 PM
The pandemic didn't introduce any new concept as such most of the ICT innovations that we feel came up due to the pandemic has always been there just that we were carried away by our normal day routine feeling so comfortable in the old way of solving problem neglecting the ICT sector. To me I will say the pandemic only enlightened people on the opportunities we have in the cuber world.
Cyber world you mean. You should check your spellings before posting. I disagree with you on this one, the covid 19 pandemic actually did teach us something. It exposed loop holes and flaws in our health care system that were left unchecked. The pandemic also made us realize how closely connected we all are across the world. The pandemic was more of an awakening. People are know questioning their health system and the safety of vaccination
2695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand that you are making a mistake? on: August 06, 2021, 09:43:30 PM
Have you ever had a situation when you realized that you were making a mistake, but you just keep on doing it. For example, buying some kind of hype shit coin about which you are absolutely sure that in the end it will become garbage, but in the short term there are chances to get a good profit, but in the end everything turns out the other way around.

Share your stories.
Op you know the saying "keep doing the wrong thing until it turns out right". Well that doesn't apply to crypto trading. If you made a bad trade, I suggest you cut your losses and close the trade before it gets any worse. I can name a lot of shit coins I bought over the years that dumped after my buy order...broke my heart.
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 06, 2021, 09:37:20 PM
This is a good read up:
https://kellysthoughtsonthings.com/why-most-of-casino-dealers-are-women/

"Why Most Of Casino Dealers Are Women"

Casinos strive to make sure you enjoy every step of your gaming experience and some of them offer fifty fs bonus codes. Therefore, they use good-looking women with a great personality and excellent communication skills to keep you captivated with the game. The few laughs you can share with that pretty woman are enough to alleviate stress and keep you relax even when the odds are not in your favor.

I do definitely seconded on those bolded words above.
They are a stress reliever and some sort of attraction, apart from calling them distractions. In fact, even not in gambling most of the online/offline sellers are Women, maybe they have more talents and skills when it comes to entertaining people. And it gives more entertainment when these young and sexy ladies will play with you showing their sexy body in front of you, it certainly gives some ease of mind.

And the fact that most gamblers are men  Roll Eyes Grin that certain explanation is valid, cause even you are losing but when dealers smile at you with bouncing boobs, oh well!  Tongue Wink

This kind of strategy also attracts gamblers to keep playing back, even they suffer with losses but with that kind of enjoyment, surely it will lead them to play again, this girls who have good communication skills can drive you to keep trying, and it means that you'll going to adds up more funds inside your bankroll.

Agree with this and even myself would definitely have that kind of feeling and for sure most men would really be having that same reaction when they do see some boobs or sexy gals around.
This is really a part of their strategy on luring or hooking up players to play even more until they would lost everything that they do have on that certain day., We would most likely
realize but its already too late.

Its just too awkward on making men to be the dealer right? For sure they would be sticking into something which can really attract men since most gamblers are males.
So that kind of reaction is just normal.
Exactly my thoughts. It's good business no one wants to see a grumpy face on the table. Casino's understand the game more than any one else that's why the house always wins. You start losing the second you step into the casino. There's this aura casinos have that makes you feel like you have got a million dollars I don't know how they do it but it works magic
2697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin anonymous? on: August 06, 2021, 09:32:10 PM
Bitcoin was previously more anonymous and we need to recognize this.
How do you mean? Did Satoshi nakamoto make some changes to the Bitcoin code? Bitcoin is pseudonymous like it always has been. Privacy coins like monero and dash are more secretive because they hide their transaction history hence addresses cannot be linked to them.
2698  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: August 06, 2021, 09:18:49 PM
but if you are not rich any small thing you will endup selling your coin immediately.
The rich also have problems. Here is where discipline plays s role. Holding is difficult, bitcoin prices go up and down the hill regardless of your class in society rich or poor. Your holding capacity is dependent on how disciplined you are. People generally develop cold feet in a bearish market
2699  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What motivates you to start investing in cryptocurrency? on: August 06, 2021, 08:32:09 PM
Yes I invested in bitcoin for profits. Why would any smart investpr invest in anything that isn't lucrative? It's insane! In the crypto market, I have witnessed coins with no use cases spike in price than coins with use cases. A small portion of the population care about the technology of a project

It's good practice to be vigilant and conscious when one is in public places. You never know who's watching. I use google authentic code for all my financial applications on my phone just to be safe. The token changes every 50 seconds on the clock making it extremely hard for scammers to manipulate.
