2681  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Network of scam sites mixers on: February 15, 2023, 03:43:28 PM
It is good you let us know by creating this topic for our view. Many must have likely be scammed of their hard earned resources unknown to them that those mixers listed are not what they thought they are but I had a second thought over it, OP have not yet presented any evidence to back the claim of scam accusations and I would also ask op if op have had
any experience with any of the mixers mentioned on this thread.  I think presenting an evidence too would help go along way to back ops claims.
There are still good mixers out there that you can give a try such as [banned mixer]. Proven to be reliable and trustworthy.

Solely depending on bitcoin trading is more or less you going on a suicide mission. As we all know, bitcoin and Crypto as a whole is volatile. The volatility of the Crypto market is what no one can comprehend in any way. There is an adage that says ' so not carry all your egg in one basket" that is wisdom. You should know that bitcoin is not what you fully depend on as means of survival. A a smart trader, investing in others business should be a priority as well because you never can tell what the market would turn out to be tommorow that is why you are always warned or advice to trade or invest  what you can afford to loose so you do not get into trouble with yourself. I think OP should get a good orientation on bitcoin properly so as not to get things mixed up.
2683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Know your limit on: February 14, 2023, 07:25:11 PM
Avoid ending up like a friend, who used all the money he has to invest in bitcoin and also took a loan, promising the lender that he will pay back when he gets paid in a month, after a month he never received the salary, I warned him doing this, because he has no doubt mixed investment with 'whatever it takes', is it safe to call this greed? I don't know.

Now he wants me to lend him some money to at least pay the loaner back and later settle me, there is more, now I have to send him some money to buy some food.

You don't have to use all your money to invest, even if you are not married yet or have other responsibilities, the best approach when planning to invest in Bitcoin is to buy with some percentage of the money you earning, maybe through business or a job.
If you do this weekly or monthly you won't feel any pressure, always remember that health is wealth.

People fail to understand this phrase " invest what you can afford to loose"  this is absolutely the best form of Crypto investment where by  you do not need to panic when ever the market situation is going otherwise. You can not be under any pressure so as to quickly collect your capital because already you got a backup plan which is your source of income or profit from other business you so so far as you only invest a little to buy fractions of bitcoin at various intervals. Well seems OP friend was under pressure so as to meet up because no man can make such mistake up to the point of getting a loan for just a risky deal which you are not certainly sure of. OP you did good by supporting your friend with feeding. I commend your efforts but you should caution your friend not to make such mistake next time.

Thank you shasan for this post. Although I have not received such mail yet but for the fact that you have created a thread for it, you have done well. There are million and one person's here that have no idea about this email circulating every where  but if they see this just as I have seen it now, they too would have the knowledge of what is happening and would be very cautious about such email if they eventually receive it. Hackers and scammers are now very  wise and smart that e will be thinking what they sent you is real and from the original source but unknown to you, they are hackers wanting to get your details so as to access your privacy and steal away your information. Every one must be careful the kind of mails they open and click on their system so as not to be victim of hackers

As it stands now many people are frustrated because of the conditions thy are forced into. It is unfortunate mate that all these are happening and there has been no good remedy for this in any ways.

What is the difference between copper membership and merit membership
Another thing I would advise you to do here is that you should take your time to go through each board, read the guidelines, policy and if possible, rules and regulations as well. Reading this would give you an edge on how to go about this platform so you do not default in anyways. So well to take note of how post are done because some poster do give guidelines on how to respond or make contributions to there post so as to get it flowing accordingly. Just as they have explained above for you, you should note that getting merits is not feasible if you do not make contributions and quality post or if possible activities here too could help you scale through to merits award.
2687  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sportsbet.io scam 1731 usdt on: February 14, 2023, 05:45:20 PM
What happened::

This Sunday I open an account at sportsbet.io with the idea to bet on NFL Final, I choose them because I saw that they sponsor teams like Arsenal and Southampton and there one of the few sportsbook online that offers crypto ( at least to my knowledge ) , I deposit (836.28 usdt ) from my binance account ( I can prove ) , the bet was placed with around 3 hours before NFL final start, and you credited my sportsbet.io ( 1731.38 usdt ) then I requested a withdrawal of 1231 usdt which was declined and I wanted to leave 500 usdt into my account for future betting.

They declined my withdrawal and ask for verification, I totally comply and send them my documents, they said "Thank you for completing our online identity verification." and then they said that " your account was disabled due to being flagged for multi accounting by our security systems"  and I told them that if I had any other account I will use that to place my bet on NFL final, which of course everybody will do, why you would need a second account?

I said to them that I don't have any other account and they asked my to wait another 5 business days which I find it weird since they already verified me and my bet was honestly placed .

I leave you all my conversation and print screen with my account below. I am terrible sorry that I did not read this forum before joining this scam sportsbook and I hope they will take the rightful decision here.

Bottom line I wish I would read this forum first, but when I sign up for sportsbet.io I really trusted them because I saw them linked with Arsenal, Southampton big Premier League clubs that gives them trust, but they are a complete scam, they don't want to pay a legit bet on NFL Final a massive event! I am sorry for my english and I hope that my post will help at least somebody not to make the same mistake as I did and raise awareness about this scam sportsbook. I will go further and make complain about them to their license, and even try to get in contact with as many people I can including contacting anybody from press, Arsenal , Southampton , this scam should not be promoted anymore because even if you think they are little money for 1 user, if you have thousands of them you make millions and it is simply not right!
So sorry about your loss mate and welcome onboard this platform. Your accusations are very much heavy though but I believe this is a little misunderstanding that could be handled. Sportsbet.io have a good reputation onboard this platform so it would be very difficult to believe you even after presenting your evidence here. I think you should give them time to run their check while waiting for their representative here to reply to your complaints and taking it to the appropriate quarters for further processing for which I believe would be sorted out immediately.
2688  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: February 14, 2023, 05:29:20 PM
Hi, welcome to the forum. I have just checked your site. The site is simple and attractive, also your offers. However, please add more currency options shortly. Also, add new games collection on your site. Also, please share your KYC policy as well (If you have any)
Yes mate this aspect I think is one of the issues that seems to be lingering on this platform between members and casinos here. It seems casinos are now using this as a bait to get members to register in getting onboard there platform which they know too well members of this platform do not like the Idea of kyc  hence they do away with casinos that requires kyc before getting registered. The idea of no kyc attracts members so much and casinos are now taking advantage of it to lure members into their traps after that, when you play and win more than they could expect, they tag your account with claims of you defaulting the casino policy there the issues begins and your funds are gone. It would be nice casino comes up plain by letting their members know the certain level of withdrawal limit that requires kyc before funds would be released to the gambler or bettor. I think this would help very much.
2689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have always wanted to ask this about bitcoin on: February 14, 2023, 05:09:48 PM
Will people still use or buy bitcoin till today if all it has to offer is the decentralized characteristic only, I am trying to say that if bitcoin is stable in value from day one and has no investment ability will you still buy it?

if all it has to offer is moving money around and no volatility, will Bitcoin be your favorite still? Drop your thoughts and let's see.

I am thinking that the Volatile is what makes bitcoin a must have for almost everybody, think I am wrong?

And people won't see a reason to buy Bitcoin if there were no Volatility from day one.
Bitcoin needs volatility to maintain is relevance hence it is decentralized and no control over it. That is the beauty of the bitcoin. If it should be stable then there would be no more value attached to it. The volatilities makes it unique and different from others. The ups and downs makes it real. Actually, like I have always said and most comments here too says that the initial plans of Satoshi Nakamoto was to make bitcoin equivalent fiat in a digital way but the early adopters sold too early to the whales and they took over bitcoin and started the investment mentality which made this new generation think bitcoin is an investment option. Since then the idea has been bitcoin investment so far and that has been the game but I believe it would get to a time when everyone individual will be in possession of bitcoin and on daily basis, everyone would be trading on bitcoin which means that bitcoin has been globally recognized and adopted as an alternative digital currency then the mentality of bitcoin as an investment would definitely be done with.

OP I really do not think your casino offer is feasible.  At first looking at your percentage  profit  looks scammy. You can not be giving out such percentage of casino profits to stakers just like that how about winners of in your platform and isn't that percentage too much for just stakers alone?  Now going by your topic, does it mean that you do not conduct kyc for your customers upon getting registered onboard your casino? Is it clearly stated in your terms and conditions as well as policy? Or you have a certain level of withdrawal that one would do that requires they doing kyc. I think you should come up plain instead of all these tales you have written here because most casinos does such by telling people to register no kyc but upon winning and withdrawal, they start seeing faults and issues with ones account the next thing is to tag account and saying account holder is suspected to have default casino policy all these funny attitude of casinos these day seems very laughable.
2691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2023, 09:21:32 AM
If we want crypto currency to be a currency we have to keep spending right? But at the same time it's something worth keeping too since I do the same with my fiat in bank for more than 2years without touching it. Is it possible to say that Bitcoin in every wallets for the past 2years without moving are considered lost due to death or lost recovery keys? It's pretty hard to believe that anyone won't come back for their Bitcoin after 2years with no activities on the wallet.

It is possible one can hold bitcoin on their wallet for years without touching it. Have you not heard of dead wallets ressurrecting after years of inactivity? Of lately, a wallet holding about 420 bitcoin was activated after a long time holding. What you have asked is possible and feasible. I would want to correct an impression from you, not all dormant wallet holding bitcoin for years are assumed inactive. Some of the wallets owners are still very much alive but they have that as investment for a long time and are still very much aware of the market trends. I think some of them are well to do in the sense that they have other investment business they are running or if possible, they are well paid in their jobs so therefore see no need always putting eyes on their bitcoin investment as they have enough for living.
All I am trying to point out is that it does not necessarily means that inactive wallets are dormant as a result of dimise of their owners but rather they wallet can be seen as a long time bitcoin investment.
2692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can help all nations. on: February 13, 2023, 09:41:52 PM
As a matter of fact, that is  one of the major reason Satoshi Nakamoto invented the bitcoin so that there would be financial liberation all round the world irrespective of the economic crisis ravaging nation's globally but this could only be achieved if only the nation's of the world sees what the inventor of the bitcoin wants them to see just like a poster posted here in response to this topic created. Bitcoin can make national reserve in time to come if only they see it so, from all indications in a short while, bitcoin will take the place of gold and therefore would automatically become a globally recognized store of value which means that each one time fraction of bitcoin will count in numbers which can not be comprehended.
2693  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Current state of financial crisis in Nigeria. on: February 13, 2023, 09:29:46 PM

Comrades this matter is getting out of hand. I stumbled upon the above meme and I popped into laughter though but something came to my mind and I had a deep thought over it and I asked myself this question, what is it like in the rural areas where there are no banks and they need money for their trades and otherwise, what is it with these pos vendors that charges outrageously for transfer and withdrawal with their knowledge of the current situation of the economy and financial crisis  ravaging the country.  Do you know how many people that have lost their lives as a result of this cashless policy and these banks and pos acts. I was reading one of the dailies last week  where a man at kaduna lost his pregnant wife and baby as a result of money demanded from the hospital by the doctor before they could touch his wife but he could not access money to do that and he took his wife home inviting a mid wife to aid his wife in delivering their baby but it was not as he thought and his wife  passed on as a result of excess bleeding( https://www.google.com/amp/s/dailypost.ng/2023/02/01/kaduna-man-loses-pregnant-wife-to-scarcity-of-new-naira/%3famp=1).  How about others that are stranded and left with no option.

This is the current situation of financial crisis in the country not cashless policy. May God help us.

Soon i will be uploading whole chat and tx id.
400USD is huge money for me and to my family.
Thanks for reading and be warned
Sorry about your loss mate, you complained earlier about a casino that scammed you of your hard earned resources and now again another scam accusation with no proof or evidence. Mate, if this continues and you keep posting complaints about scam without any factual evidence to hold unto, your complaints would not be taken serious anymore and you would be seen as a member who is likely good at tarnishing the reputation of others without any evidence. I would advise you to always put up evidence together with your complaints so members could have site of it before saying anything about it.
Lastly, it is advised to seek the expertise  of an escrow for transparency and credibility so as not to fall victim of any circumstances.  How could you have made such a mistake by trusting some one you have no knowledge about neither have you come in contact with him before but however, we await your evidence so as not to misfire.

I too was wondering and having this thought as well.  JJG  is a high ranked member of this platform at first notice, I also did a search for his posts and activities and find out that he does post too but my surprise is about the length of the posts. Seriously speaking, no one writes as long as JJG. I think JJG is a good Researcher and a good reader. From all I have seen on this platform about JJG. OP, the identity of JJG is yet to be known as we all here do not have clues about who we are unless otherwise. Another thing I wonder about JJG is the way at which he dishes out merits. When I checked, i noticed something about it, truly he reads and awards merits to those who deserves it and on a long scale he has given out merits on this platform. JJG is a human just like us all on this platform do not be confused.
2696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: February 13, 2023, 06:46:41 PM
I guess regulated casinos (which require KYC from users) aren't anonymous. You have to investigate their licenses, so you will find more informations of where their headquarters is located, who is the responsible individual for the business, etc... Staff team doesn't expose themselves on their casino's website and social medias, but with some further research I believe it's possible to find the details you are looking for, because they shouldn't be completely hidden too.

They still can be. A license cost money and that's supposed to be the incentive for a casino to stay fair and obey the law. If there are complaints, the issuer of the license takes it away.
It doesn't mean a commission that sells these licenses is some kind of detective agency. They require someone's name and address and that person could be a drunkard or a drug addict who they pay.
A license doesn't mean transparent staff. It means there were fees paid and there weren't enough complaints yet for that license to be taken away.
But we will find it difficult to determine who is behind the casino team because their identities are not exposed to the public. But maybe if we ask the regulator that provides the license, we can get the answer, especially if the casino doesn't respond to our complaints. As long as the casino can provide the best for its members, gamblers or their members will not be too curious because gamblers also respect the confidentiality of the casino team. And only the regulator will know who owns the casino and its staff.
I think it is very unlikely that a regulator will expose the information of a casino operator unless there is very significant grounds to do so. I think it would also require both a violation of license rules and/or the law as well as grounds for a court proceeding before it would even be considered. Otherwise, the most you will get from them is the information of the company that holds the license. To find out the ownership of that company would also be a similar process to what was explained.

if there is a legal complaint towards the casino, there is chance that you can extract the ownership details from the licensing company. however, not many people go in this route as we all know it is hard to traverse the route of court proceeding. unless, you have significant amount of money that are at stake and you want to recover it. i guess, if the site is not responding from you, you can very well contact the licensing company as they are the one responsible with their gambling license. if you have valid grounds, and you win with your case, the licensing company can strip off their license.

This is one of the reasons why it is good to making sure you do your research before engaging or dealing with any casino. One of the things I always check for before I engage in gambling site is the license they have. I check for where the license was issued and the organization that issued the license, when the license was issued and I also check if the license do have a renewal or valid time of expiration. I do this because getting a license for casino is an automatic kyc between the casino ownership and the government issuing the license so I could be able to find out who they are if anything goes wrong with my funds under their custody. This information I get from the casino or the license issuing organization can help me track the ownership of the casino if anything happens. This o do to be on the safe side.

i have two very good domains and im trying to collect as much info as i can  about opening crypto gaming website that not require kyc and makes instant withdrawals.
First i was thinking about bitcoin crash game only - like bustabit but better, like adding bonuses and more crypto deposit and withdrawal options, more modem UI, But since im not a developer and can't write anything i want "like wake up in the morning and oh let's write best crypto exchange app" haha ,so i have to buy ready made script or hire developer and it would cost me thousands if not more

Later i stated to think about full casino scrip like win5x, but why my casino would be better than others? 0 reasons why. even Spribe Sales said that aviator game cost 5000eur + 3000eur every month, but casinos like cloudbet have 100s of these 3rd games, so that means to have some of these evolution, bgaming games i need to have prepared at least 150k usd + monthly payments ? i would prefer 0 monthly fee, just revenue % share with them
 Shocked

I know the feeling with new casinos will be that they may not have mandatory KYC, it's something all players will look for, but from what you've researched and what you've seen, do you think it's still easy? I say it from the point of view that whenever a casino without KYC is brought here in the forum, it is studied in depth, and something always comes up that doesn't add up, be it the issue of licenses or something similar, we all know that in order to have authenticity on a site licenses are needed, have you thought about how to deal with it? For me it is one of the essential things, but we all know that when acquiring licenses that give more authenticity and trust to the site, it will imply that you ask for KYC in the same way. I'm not sure, but if you look at freebitcoin they have their dice game, and it's been enough for that game to be one of the most famous sites ever since and they don't require KYC.
Having a license shows that a project already is kyc verified and same applicable to the members or users of that platform. A kyc verified casino would state it clear and also let members know their stand in verifying their users. In a situation where by casinos do not request for kyc onset from registration, I now see that as fishy because it is now known and noted as a trap due to the experience with such nature of casinos here. Casinos without kyc are sometimes full of cooked stories in the later when a member luckily wins big and upon withdrawal, you would hear the casino demanding for documents when they already said it that their casino is kyc free and I wonder why the could put up such stunt just to attract members then when it comes to withdrawal, they start requesting for kyc against their own policy as stated by them. It is laughable you know.
So in all,the point I am trying to make is that onset from  operation, OP should be able to state it clear if  OP would request members to do a kyc or not so as to avoid such scenario as the ole777 casino and another thing is to have a good customer care service which is to be timely to respond to complaints and inquiries likewise your representative here.
You do have a good point here, i remember that  several times, we have discussed about casinos that do not ask their customers for kyc verification from before they make a deposit or play on the casino, only to turn around and do so when the user wins a big amount of money and request withdrawal.

But then also, we can not rule out the fact that there are some really reputable casinos that do not ask their customers for kyc verification from onset, take Stake, com as an example, on stake, a gambler can withdraw up to $10,000 from their casino without kyc verification, but anything above that, such customer will be asked to verify their account. - this is according to some reviews i read online, I personally verified my stake account immediately i registered there.
Most casinos do not really State anything as regards kyc they only tell you to do kyc when they see that you have won a big cash price which they feel is too much for them to pay and in other for Them to discredit you of your win, they start demanding for documents and if you present evidence of your documents and they see that you are standing firm on your right they ban, suspend or tag your account fraudulent and suspicious. This has been the game they have been up to.
Some casinos clearly state the bench Mark for kyc as regards to some certain level of withdrawal by a bettor or gambler upon winning of game . I believe most casinos here have such policy.

If you do your research properly, you would find out that lots of analyst did their own analysis for themselves not me and what happened, all they have  said about bitcoin were null and void and holds no water with bitcoin doing much better than their analysis. What I would advise you is that not all analysis are likely correct. Follow your personal judgement and make sure you have done your market research before you conclude on your actions so as not to make the wrong move. In as much as Crypto market is still in existence, there would definitely be price analysis from different analyst and I asked myself this question if they that claim to be good Crypto market analyst,  why is their price prediction not inline with each other, why some predict high and some predict low, their variation in prices will tell you that they have no autonomy as to good price analysis.  Do not be led by their analysis to put you of track.
